Sizing information.

Please consult the Power Trip sizing chart . We find the chart and stated sizes to be accurate in this product. This chart is also consistent with “normal” men’s sizes, so you can buy the size you normally wear.

Our Two Cents

The Flak jacket combines the features and functionality of a typical textile sport jacket with US Army styling and “anatomical” padding throughout the torso. Just think, you can have those washboard abs after all! We took a lot of good photos of this jacket in the black color showing its features including the removable sleeves, so take the “View Larger Pictures” link above and have a look. Of course you get the US Army logos, and you get the flip down badge/ID holder on the chest. The shell of this jacket is a rugged nylon material so it will be most comfortable for cool to warm weather street and sport riding. For cooler weather, you can use the removable vest-type liner and for warmer weather, there are four zippered vents on the front. The armor in the shoulders and elbows of this jacket is a CE approved “turtle shell” molded rubber type. The back protector supplied is dual density. An upgraded CE approved back protector is available (see below). A really neat looking jacket with a lot of features in my opinion.

my light weight is denim..never been one for patches...have no interest n armor...wear a helmet only if the sky is falling..(it sometimes does)... i reckon i pretty plain...  

I just switched from the leather version, to the textile and so far I love it. It's a nice looking jacket, and definately worth it if you can get it for $100. The only thing I don't like about it, is around the neck the the strap is quite annoying if you dont have it snapped into place. I don't care for it being snapped because I want more airflow, so it kinda gets in the way. But other than that, the jacket is sweet.  

Awesome jacket. Love mine, see sig pic! Looks good with great features. Zip out liner and vents are great. They seem to run a little small. $100 is awesome price.  

What a deal, that is the exact jacket I want to get. Is this in store only, or do they have a website? Need 2X or 3X.  

Hurry up and go get it before they are gone. I have a leather Power Trip and the quality is superb. :thumbup: I too would be interested if they have a web site. $100 is a steal for that jacket.

I love this jacket. Tried it on at my honda store and love it. But it's 200 bucks at our store. Do they have a three x at your store?

I paid $200 for mine at my local Honda dealership. I love it and highly recomend it! Much better than any Leather! It's my favorite Jacket to wear thoughout most of the year. I have a mesh I wear on the hottest days. The armor may take getting use to but it's there for a good reason. If it fits you well, grab it before it's gone!  

Well, I got it. I actually didn't rain this evening, so me and my wife rode our bikes out to the Dealership (Nice ride, about 40 mi one way) and I bought it. It is an awesome jacket. So nice, I think we want to get one for my wife. She does not ride an X, so, does anyone know what the plain version is called? I did some looking on the net and Power trip has 2 that are similar. The Jet Black, and the Vixon. Thanks for all of the good reviews, I'm very happy with it. Plus they are having an open house and are doing demo rides - I got to ride a fury!

I got it at Steve Seltzer Honda In Altoona, PA. I had to have a coupon to get it at that price. They did a mail marketing campain for their open house, this week m-s and it was a 50% off one in stock item. I got the last 2XL I posted "close out" but i guess that is not really what it was. I got it for $115.00

Elke wears a size XS and her measurements are height 177cm / 5'10", chest 83cm / 33in and waist 63cm / 25in. The best way to find out your size, is to measure a jacket you already own and that fits you well: 1. Lay your jacket flat on a table. 2. Measure across the chest making sure to measure from armpit to armpit. 3. Compare your measurements to the table below. Our measurements are the size of the jacket, therefore if your jacket measurement is between two of our sizes, choose the larger size. If your measurement is the same as one of our sizes our jacket will be the same fit. Our jackets fit true to size, so we would normally advise purchasing your usual size. However, if you prefer to layer your motorcycle clothing, choose the size up as motorcycle jackets are thicker than lifestyle jackets.

Moscow Motorcycle video

I don’t know if this is an appropriate topic for CAR talk, but it sure relates to a vehicle. http://jal…-is-insane He is on a wide, busy Moscow street with a Yamaha R1. I don’t know much about motorcycles, but the fastest R1 runs 0-60 in less than 3 seconds, 100 in less than 6 seconds, and top speed around 165. When I get time, I want to go back and do some “scaling” to estimate how fast he is running. But, it sure looks like he is well over 100 mph in places, not sure about 150. Scaling is using the actual images, for example time how long he needs to pass a number of cars, then estimate the length of car and distance between. Using the known fact that 88 feet per seconds equals 60 mph, one can come up with a rough estimate of his velocity.

Sorry, I don’t know how this got on here. After logging in, I clicked on the Discussions thread, then hit add question, thought it would be there, which I feel is more appropriate than here, but when it posted it was over here. I do not know why, and apologize for the error.

Hope he signed his organ donor card.
