obnoxious amount of light...but hey, to each their own...dont run with my king TP enough to warrant lights. Had 'complaints' mine were too bright and all i added was the bag lights that go across horizontally...its an RGS so it has those little round tail lights that i made LED and the bottom fender light...  

I would tend to agree. For me the ones on the bags put it over the top. I have gone smoke CD on all my rear lights The tour pack is the last one I need to do in smoke. I have been waiting a year for CD to get this to the market  

So did you put in your pre order?  

Looks like they are shipping already. I will with out a doubt be ordering one. My stupid money account was raided for the CAM, header and other parts this week so I will wait a few days.  

High Mount Auxiliary LED Light for 2014-2024 Tour Pak Lid

This is doable for me and my king and at $99 bones, also doable. Interwebs research aka forum guru's, does the RGS have ability to connect as this is described to? Plug and go? TIA!  

I am number 3 on pre order for this. Once this comes in all my lighting except my headlight will be Custom Dynamics?  

Dam thing about Custom Dynamics, you try any one of there products and you are hooked!! They got my ass for sure.... Lifetime warranty....shit I'm in.... I started out with set of pro beams, front switchback turn signals, the clear white lights are bright and work like day time running lights!!! Only to turn bright orange when making a turn!!!! I like them so much I added the rear turn signal and tri- bar to the back, I am that guy who likes less lights, so to me these lights where game changers, because of how freakin bright they are, I have thought about there thin saddlebag lights, of the filler lights, but then I look at it them a night.....and they are plenty bright, especially with the brake strobe lights!!! I know there are other companies out there with much more expensive lights. But I still think custom Dynamics has everybody beat hands down the quality and craftsmanship shows and it's hard to beat a lifetime warranty.... I'm just sayin  

When I can't ride my bike anymore, I wan a setup just like Smittys side car, y'all can have the trikes!!! This is how I will plan to roll!!!  

Sidecars are great if you know what you are getting into. Cost is one thing and wide range. They handle different and require a new set of riding skills. I was lucky to have been around them . My return to them was driven By Payton. Her love for riding has insured the sidecars are a part of our riding life now and for years to come. The day my wife saw someone with a teenager in a wheel chair getting out of one. She said make it happen. My reply was I am on it. 30 days latter Payton had her first one. She was 6 years old. At 13 she has 40,000 miles in a sidecar. Checked off Dragon and many of the rides in that area including Moonshiners 28. Shark Week is in Wisconsin 2022. We will be there. It is a great time to get some up close and possible hands on with a sidecar. CD lights. After having to replace HD lights no warranty I tried CD. Lower cost never had one fail and better lights IMO.  

My wife has mild cerebral palsy, her right side of her body, is affected with her right leg slightly shorter, and no real control of her right hand, you really don't notice it, unless she is tired, she hides it very well, with 64 years of practice, but I know for sure there will come a time, when the both of us will need the side car, Smitty I love can do people, and you my friend are one of them.... Can't never Could.... I am one those can do people, mainly cause I am a hard headed.... I figure 4 grand for the cart, And another 2 grand for the set up, and maybe a grand for matching paint.... if I could keep it under 7 grand I be happy... it will have to be detachable.... I know my day is coming.... So I will be ready. ..

Email today said 1-2 weeks wait on pre orders  

Ordering my tour pak light tomorrow . Have some HD rewards to use . Ordering through s Dealer that sell CD products. I was told this light would be coming NOV of last year.  

If you order it from Honey Toad you can get the light at a discount. And they take HD Visa chrome cash if that’s what you’re gonna use. I got my headlight through them.  

$350 with discount. It will take a bit to get here. Part number was not even listed so they had to add it in . I have been waiting sense Nov22nd last year for this to come to market.  

Got the call yesterday. Mine is in need to find time to go pick it up. CD product I am sure it won't let me down.  

Smitty, maybe I missed it, but did you ever get Payton's dragon painted on the car, or did winter catch up on you before you had a chance to do it? If there's a thread on here that shows it, I guess I missed it.

Based on your luck the past couple years you probably should consider welding up a custom mount for an entire 6' lightbar like they put on emergency vehicles!

I used the stud that came with the CD light. Used the allan slot in it to tighten it down then screwed antenna down. Looks great.

Shipping Changes

Moscow Sky Lights Up With Strange Glow After Explosion at Electrical Substation: Reports

N ew footage has emerged showing bright flashes lighting up the night sky in southern Moscow during the early morning hours of November 22.

Knewz.com has learned that there was an explosion at an electrical substation on the outskirts of Russia's capital city followed by an alleged power outage in "several" homes.

Video snippets, shared on Russian news channels like ASTRA , captured a series of flashes that caused the sky to change color. Smoke could also be seen rising from a building.

Corroborating the video, several Russian Telegram accounts reported an explosion near the south of Moscow and a subsequent fire at the Lyublino electrical substation, southeast of central Moscow, per Newsweek .

The local authorities from the area have since confirmed that an explosion occurred in the village of Molokovo, but they reassured the public that all vital facilities were operating as normal.

Russian outlet MSK1.ru reported the blaze at the substation and noted “several” power outages.

The town of Lytkarino, located to the southeast of Moscow, was one of the affected areas, as reported by the independent outlet, Meduza .

Additional power failures were reported in the southern Domodedovo section of the city. However, electricity was later restored to these areas.

One local resident speculated that a drone may have been responsible for the explosion, but additional sources are yet to support this theory.

Newsweek reported that messages on the ASTRA Telegram account run by independent Russian journalists showed residents near the substation panicking. One concerned Russian called it a "nightmare."

The incident follows an attack by Russia on a power station in southwestern Ukraine that left 2,000 people without electricity .

Knewz.com reported previously:

“ Russian forces launched a total of 38 Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 drones during the later hours of November 17 and 18.

The Ukrainian Air Force Command reported that 29 of these drones were shot down [...].

One civilian was injured as a result of the attack that targeted energy infrastructure in the southwestern Odesa Oblast.”

The assault came after repeated warnings by Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky that Russia would try to cripple its power grid as winter approaches.

Ukraine's leader warned that if Russia resorted to attacking its power utilities, it would respond in kind.

Ukraine has conducted numerous long-range aerial drone strikes on Moscow since May 2023.

Most recently on November 20, it was reported that one such incursion was intercepted close to the city, per Kyiv Post .

Moscow’s Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed this and elaborated that the region's air defense systems intercepted the unmanned craft over the city of Elektrostal to the east of Moscow, as well as another over the Bogorodsky district, northeast of central Moscow.

The details of the recently surfaced video footage have yet to be independently verified.

From our tour. Impressions of our American tourist:

We walked over the bridge where I got a better photo of the Kremlin to enter metro station to travel the one stop back to the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour. This cathedral has a fascinating story.  It is Moscow's largest Orthodox cathedral.  It was built between 1839-1883 as a memorial to those who fell fighting Napoleon's army in the War of 1812. 

At its entry, the marble walls are covered with inscribed names of those whose lives were lost.  For more than a century, it was the city's largest single structure, dominating the city skyline.  In 1931, a few seconds demolished what had taken 50 years to build, following Stalin's orders. 

The marble from the church and other valued materials and objects were stripped and removed to be used elsewhere, such as for creating art in the Metro stations.  During Khrushchev's time, one of the world's largest outdoor swimming pools was built. 

In recent years, the decision was made to rebuild the Cathedral; this time it took only 5 years at a cost of $150 million.  While the city provided most of the funding, when the decision to rebuild was announced, the rubles poured in from the general population.  Once again, photos were not allowed, but my friend bought a booklet, and she kindly let me use it so you can see its elaborate interior. 

What you probably DO know about this cathedral is that the Russian punk band Pussy Riot performed a protest concert inside the church in 2012, resulting in their arrest and jail time for 3 of its members.

After my friend selected her icon from the gift shop, it was time to bid our favorite Muscovite guide farewell. Our Moscow guide has restored my faith in her generation.  So wise and compassionate she is.  She was extremely perceptive about our preferences and needs. 

As my friend noted to me last night after we got back to our room, there wasn't a problem our guide didn't solve with calm and timely effectiveness.  After she presented both of us with gifts tied with satin ribbon, she walked us across the plaza in front of the cathedral to our waiting cab.  She told my friend that she reminded her of her own "Baba" and that she would send my friend a picture of her to show the resemblance.
