Not Just A Show, An Experience: 7 NEW DATES for Koe Wetzel’s 2023 ‘Road To Hell Paso Tour’

A Koe Wetzel concert is not for the faint of heart.

The boy from East Texas has cemented his status as an absolute rockstar, breaking free of all preconceived notions of what a concert should be and creating an atmosphere that is unrivaled by any other act on the planet.

Koe has been on an absolute rockship over the past few years and is doing nothing but picking up speed with his 2023 Road To Hell Paso Tour,  which kicks off in March and just added 7 more dates to the already packed schedule.

Now with 32 dates in 24 states, there’s no excuse for not grabbing some buddies and seeing what it’s about for yourself. Whether down south in Florida, out west in Colorado, or up north in Indiana, there’s a show for you.

The opening acts push the run even higher, featuring the likes of Pecos & The Rooftops, Kolby Cooper, Dylan Wheeler, The Steelwoods, and Red Shahan.

The tour is aptly named for the phenomenal  Hell Paso  album he dropped in September, which he recorded while holed up at a pecan farm outside of El Paso, Texas.

Why El Paso? The most Koe reason ever…

The album showcases the focus and energy put in, even mixing in some close to the border Mexican flavor on tracks like “Cabo”.

The entire project can be summed up as nothing short of classic Koe Wetzel, digging into his punk/grunge roots with “Money Spent”, “April Showers”, and “Creeps”, while keeping the tragically sad, self-reflective and deprecating lyrics that put him on the map. An army of hardcore fans show up and sell out shows around the country, screaming every word with a passion that only comes from seeing your deepest self in the songs.

“We brought everything together into one on Hell Paso. You’ve got to be yourself. Once I put out something authentic, it worked.

This record is going to get a lot of flack, but it’s going to get a lot of love too. I’m not going to stop. Hopefully, I go home at some point, kiss grandma, and she’ll maybe cook me breakfast.”

Regardless of where you’re at in life, there’s something to be gained by hearing these songs live. Somehow in the midst of what at times seems like chaos, an inner understanding reveals itself where you’re least expecting it.

Texas maverick Koe Wetzel has announced a new 2023 Road to Hell Paso tour across North America, with the singer-songwriter recently unveiling a ‘Part 2’ run of shows.

The tour, which kicked off on March 2 2023, draws inspiration from Wetzel's 2022 Hell Paso album.

Since releasing his debut project, Out on Parole , in 2015, Wetzel has positioned himself at the forefront of the new brand of country-rock that is being pioneered by contemporaries such as HARDY .

Wetzel will bring hits such as ‘Cabo’ and ‘Good Die Young’ out on the road with him, on a tour that promises to be fiery, rowdy and memorable - although, judging by the number of drinking anthems in Koe Wetzel's repertoire, perhaps not-so-memorable for some!

On the Road to Hell Paso tour, fans will also get the chance to see Tyler Farr, Dylan Wheeler, Kolby Cooper, The Steel Woods, The Cadillac Three, Pecos & The Rooftops, Red Shahan and Pillbox Patti.

Kicking off July 27 in his home state of Texas, the Damn Near Normal World Tour spans 34 U.S.dates with cities including Las Vegas, Washington, D.C., Boston, Nashville and more, with the stateside run culminating at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre on October 13 before Wetzel heads overseas for 12 stops in the U.K., Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Makes me glad there ain’t a cure for insane.” “It was like nothing we’ve ever done before, so I was like, ‘Hell with it, put it on here’,” he says. “YellaBush Road” brings him back home with vulnerable verses and another vital hook, “And I’m way too blessed to b*tch today.” “‘YellaBush Road’ is my community,” he goes on. “It used to be a lot bigger. They had a school, a church, and everything out there. Now, there’s not even a road sign for it. This is my hometown song though. You get on the road, you get away from everything you know, and you start to miss it. So, the tune puts me back there.” Then, there’s “Better Without You.” Guitar wails in between a punchy beat as he promises, “I’m doing better without you being around.” “I bought a house a year ago, and I’ve probably slept in my bed for maybe like two months out of the last year,” he notes. “I had to unpack everything in my garage. One of those boxes had all of my ex-girlfriend’s shit in it. It was raining outside. I was in one of those moods where I was like, ‘F*ck this, I’m going to sit on the couch and grab a guitar.’ You’re over it, but you’re not really over it.” The ride reaches its emotional highpoint on “Sad Song.” He concludes the record with a fiery final word. “I just got in the booth and sang,” he recalls. “It was all in the moment.” In the end, there’s nobody like Koe, and we should be really f*cking grateful. “We brought everything together into one on Hell Paso,” he leaves off. “You’ve got to be yourself. Parking Information

PREMIERE PARKING:  A limited number of Premiere Parking  will be available for $25 in advance and will be sold at the event, if spaces are available. Parking spaces will be held closest to the Main gate. Pass entitles 1 car to cark in Premiere Parking section in the FRONT of the Preferred Lot.

PURCHASE PREMIERE PARKING

PREFERRED PARKING:  A limted number of Preferred Parking  will be available for $20.00 in advance and will be sold at the event, if spaces are available. Parking spaces will be held across from the Main gate. Pass entitles 1 car to park in the Preferred Parking section in the BACK of the Preferred Lot.

PURCHASE PREFERRED PARKING

Parking passes may be purchased at the box office in person, by phone through Etix or online at etix.com.  

• Parking lots open 1 hour before venue gates open.
• Purchasing a Parking Pass is NOT a ticket for the event, and is not valid for entry into the event.
• Please present your Parking Pass upon arrival. 

GENERAL PARKING:  Koka Booth Amphitheatre has approximately 1500 free spaces available.  Parking is free of charge in Amphitheatre-owned lots. Some local businesses may charge a fee for parking in their lots.

KOE WETZEL ANNOUNCES THE FALL LEG OF HIS ‘ROAD TO HELL PASO’ NORTH AMERICAN HEADLINE TOUR

Louisville, KY (April 20, 2023) –  - Genre-bending artist  Koe Wetzel  has added fall dates to his ‘Road to Hell Paso’ North American headline tour. Presented by Monster Energy, the newly announced 22-date run kicks off July 28 in Idaho Falls, ID and includes a stop in  downtown Louisville at the KFC Yum! Center on Saturday, September 9 .The tour will conclude with shows in Lubbock and El Paso, TX, both of which have inspired a couple of Koe’s song and album titles.  Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, 4/28 at 10am local time on AXS.com. Koe has been on the road playing sold out shows across the country in support of his latest album Hell Paso, which debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard 200 upon release in September. In speaking about the album, Koe says: “We pulled in every genre we were feeling at the time.
