Istanbul Cruise Port Guide

Nestled between Europe and Asia, Turkey offers a blend of both worlds. The country has been a bridge between the two continents for thousands of years, which you might catch a glimpse of on your cruise to Europe . Istanbul offers sensory delights at every turn, from its towering, colorful minarets to the scent of coffee brewing in fragrant cardamom and sugar.

History lovers will find plenty to occupy their time during their Istanbul cruise, like touring the Blue Mosque or the Basilica Cistern. See the Hagia Sophia, one of the most enduring and famous sights in all of Istanbul. Shop and haggle at the Grand Bazaar, or make a day of admiring artisanal goods at the Kadıköy Produce Market just a ferry ride away. Admire the strait of Bosphorus, which connects the continents of Europe and Asia, from an awe-inspiring suspension bridge spanning 19 miles. Istanbul is both modern and historied at once.

Top sights & attractions for cruises to istanbul, hagia sophia.

Istanbul’s most famous sight was once a Greek Orthodox Cathedral, then a mosque. Its construction dates back to the 6th century. Now, the Hagia Sophia is a museum and one of Turkey’s most beloved structures. Since becoming a museum in 1935, it’s one of the most visited sights in the entire world. Walk the grounds and peer up into the massive, ornately designed dome. The Hagia Sophia is open for tours seven days a week.

Blue Mosque

Over 5 million people visit the Blue Mosque each year. Built between 1609 and 1616, the mosque is still fully functional today, so you are likely to observe services while you’re there. Remove your shoes before entering. Men should wear long pants, and women should wear a headscarf or covering. The stark blue tiles will captivate your senses in this bustling, historic place.

Basilica Cistern

Descend underground to the Basilica Cistern, a large network of subterranean columns that were built to capture rainwater. A rich history accompanies the Basilica Cistern, which you’ll discover during a walking tour. Nearly 400 marble columns sustain the architectural integrity of the cistern.

Learn More About Europe Shore Excursions

Top things to do in istanbul, see the views of bosphorus.

You can take a ferry ride along the strait of Bosphorus or drive over the 15 July Martyrs Bridge that connects Europe and Asia. If architectural marvels are your thing, you have to see the strait of Bosphorus.

Enjoy Afternoon Turkish Tea

The tea gardens in Istanbul, known as çay bahçesis, are a social fixture in Turkish society. They often offer waterfront views and relaxing atmospheres, perfect for sipping tea, resting, and taking in the beauty of the day while in port on an Istanbul cruise.

Admire Byzantine Art

The Kariye Museum is not only a mosaic-clad former church that perfectly sums up the spirit of the Byzantine architecture, but also a place that celebrates a rich tradition of frescos and landscapes that make the region so unique.

Shop the Grand Bazaar

It’s easy to get lost in the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, which offers some of the biggest bargains from Turkish artisans in the city. You can make an all-day affair of shopping here or simply go for the people watching. The Bazaar is one of the few places remaining in Istanbul where the art of haggling is welcomed and encouraged.

Top Food and Drink Spots Near the Istanbul Cruise Port

On cruises including Istanbul, the food and drink are unparalleled. Turkish coffee is specially brewed in sugar and cardamom for a sweeter (and stronger) cup of coffee, and it’s a hallmark of the daily routine and culture in Istanbul. Another Istanbul classic is a Turkish Delight, a sweet dessert often containing nuts and dried fruits coated in confectioner’s sugar. Try lahmacun, a popular street food consisting of crispy, thin flatbread topped with minced meat and lemon juice. Fresh Turkish baklava is a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth. The immersive Kadıköy Produce Market offers local produce, nuts, olive oil, coffee, yogurt, and more.

Culture & History of Istanbul Cruise Port

People originally settled in this area due to the coastal access offered by the strait of Bosphorus, which was key for trade, and the Black Sea. Over the centuries, control of Istanbul changed hands various times among the Romans, Persians, Byzantines, Arabs, and others. Eventually, Ottoman conquest of what was once called Constantinople became Istanbul. The main language spoken here is Turkish, though you may hear English at major sights in town as tourism from English-speaking countries is common.

Istanbul Port Facilities & Location

Your Istanbul cruise ship will dock in a facility called Karakoy, which is minimally equipped but walkable to major destinations like the Museum of Modern Art and the quirky Madame Tussaud's of Istanbul. You’ll find a selection of cafes and hookah bars close to where your ship docks.

Transportation in Istanbul

Ferry travel is popular with Istanbul residents and provides both waterside views and a relaxed journey to various destinations across the city. There is an extensive bus network and subway system. Yellow taxis are abundant and widely used by tourists. In a bustling city like Istanbul, expect traffic and congestion on the highways.

Shopping Near the Istanbul Cruise Port

There’s not much near the port itself, but you’ll find artisan goods, the region’s famous Turkish rugs, and local delicacies at the Grand Bazaar in town. While it may be difficult to bring home larger items, you should consider Turkish treats and desserts for a quick, pocket-sized souvenir.

Local Currency & Tipping Customs

You’ll use the Turkish lira during your Istanbul cruise. Many stores will accept euros as well, but be sure to ask. ATMs are scattered around the city, and paying with cash at restaurants is preferred. Many establishments accept credit cards, specifically Visa and Mastercard. Round up to the next lira when you’re tipping a taxi driver, and leave a 10% tip at restaurants.

Crossroads of Cultures

Few cities represent as ravishing a meeting of substance and spectacle as Istanbul, a grand and sprawling capital that ranks among the world’s truly great cities. Here are grand mosques and churches, palaces and bazaars, museums and sites of unsurpassed natural beauty and of course the legendary Bosphorus, flowing from the Black Sea past the Golden Horn and the heart of the city to the Sea of Marmara. The European part of Turkey straddles the western banks of the narrow strait and Asia starts on the eastern shore, making Istanbul the world’s only city built on two continents: the very definition of exotic! In the sixth century BC, Byzantium was a colony of the ancient Greek city of Megara, and only much later did Constantine the Great move the seat of the Roman Empire here. For more than a millennium and a half this timeless metropolis was the capital of empires— with the advent of Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror in 1453 Constantinople became the seat of the Ottoman Empire, before taking the name of Istanbul with the establishment of the modern Turkish Republic in 1923. Today as in the days of empires past, the convergence of cultures and multi-religious coexistence here is truly extraordinary. In Istanbul traditions from not only Islamic but also Christian and Jewish faiths rub shoulders easily with the vibrant mosaic that is contemporary Turkey.

Bosphorus and the Golden Horn

Of this majestic imperial city, whose historical areas were listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1985, the legendary British writer Jan Morris wrote that “In all European travel there is no spectacle more tremendous than the sight of Istanbul massed beside the sea – a solidification of history, jumbled houses and docks and palaces along the shore, mighty domes and soaring minarets, ships and ferries swarming everywhere, rumbling traffic over terrific bridges – a timeless metropolis, familiar to travelers for a thousand years.” The Golden Horn, an inlet of the Bosphorus, flows between the commercial center of Karaköy and Sarayburnu, or the Old Seraglio Point promontory that’s home to the Topkapi Palace, Sultanahmet Square and many important monuments. Opposite the Golden Horn and adjacent to Karaköy is the old district of Pera, settled by Genoese and Venetians in the 12th century and home of the iconic Galata Tower, built by the Genoese. The ornate Dolmabahçe Palace, formerly as sultan’s palace and now a museum, is on the European side of the Bosphorus, in a historic area of mansions and elegant yali , or waterfront wooden villas. A boat excursion along the Bosphorus is a great way to experience this visual pageantry. The Boğaziçi Bridge looms over the neo-Baroque style Ortaköy Mosque and spans more than 5,000 feet across the Bosphorus.

Topkapi Palace

Topkapi, on the strategic Seraglio point, is the definitive Ottoman Turkish palace. Its construction started in the 1460s by the order of Sultan Mehmed II, and it is where the sultans held court. The palace houses the Mgbaddes Emanetler Dairesi (Chamber of Holy Relics) where the Prophet Muhammed’s Hırka-i Saadet (Blessed Mantle) and Sancak-ı Şerif (Holy Banner) are kept in their golden chests. Other treasures include the jewels of the Sultans, ornate swords, chalices set with precious stones, the emerald encrusted Topkapi Dagger and a throne encrusted with 18,000 pearls. The palace also housed Janissary quarters for the elite Ottoman troops and some 400 rooms that were part of the famous Imperial Harem. Topkapi’s gardens afford panoramic views of the legendary waters of the Bosphorus and Sea of Marmara.

Hagia Sophia and Basilica Cistern

Constantine, the first Christian Emperor of Rome, ordered Saint Sophia to be built in 347AD as an imperial church, and with 50 tons of gold, multicolored marble and upwards of 170 pillars from other temples (including those in Athens and Ephesus) it opened 16 years later—only to be twice destroyed by fire before Justinian the Great rebuilt it in 552. For more than a thousand years it was the center of the Eastern Orthodox Christianity, before Mehmet the Conqueror had the huge structure with its signature colossal dome converted to a mosque in 1453. In 1935 the Hagia Sophia has converted yet again, this time to a museum, and many of the original Byzantine mosaics such as the one depicting the Virgin Mary with the baby Jesus and Constantine and Justinian standing on either side have been faithfully restored. The cathedral-sized Basilica Cistern is an elaborate underground network of cisterns built by some 7,000 slaves during the Early Roman period to supply water to the Great Palace (and later to Topkapi Palace). Its spectacular array of vaulted roofs and floodlit columns lie less than 500 feet southwest of the Hagia Sophia.

cruise tour to istanbul

Sultanahmet Square and Blue Mosque

The square is the heart of Istanbul’s most historic peninsula and some of the finest examples of Byzantine and Ottoman architecture are located here, including the famous Sultan Ahmet Mosque or Blue Mosque. Completed in 1616 and the world’s only mosque with six minarets, it has no fewer than 138 windows and takes its name from the beautiful blue-colored tiles that line its interior. It also houses the tomb of its founder, Sultan Ahmed. In close proximity to the Blue Mosque, you can see the Obelisk of Theodosius and ancient bronze Serpentine Column which is on the site of the Hippodrome, which was the ancient “circus” or sporting center of Constantinople. The Arasta Çarşısı, or Arasta Bazaar, is located just behind the mosque and a great stop for some unique handicrafts shopping.

Süleymaniye Mosque

Imperial Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan put his stamp on the Istanbul cityscape by building more than 300 structures during the reign of three sultans, including Suleiman the Magnificent who commissioned the Süleymaniye Mosque in 1550. Sinan completed it seven years later, and the mosque’s main dome, several smaller domes, four soaring minarets and graceful interior make it one of the most impressive of Istanbul’s religious sites. The mosque is located on the Third Hill of Istanbul, west of Sultanahmet Square but still within the city’s ancient walls.

Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar

Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar, the Kapalı Çarşı, dates back to 1461 and along with the Spice Bazaar is one of the most exciting stops you’ll make in the city. Originally, Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror set up the covered bazaar as a way to generate income for the upkeep of the Hagia Sophia and it was an important place for trade in Ottoman times. Today you will find everything from antiques to jewelry, gold to affordable souvenirs and unique mementos in more than 3,000 individual shops. Similarly, the Spice Bazaar (also called Mısır Çarşısı or Egyptian Bazaar) was built in 1660 and was meant to support the New Mosque. There are nearly 100 shops selling not only spices and dried fruits and nuts but also jewelry, souvenirs and of course the famous Turkish delight and other traditional sweets. The bazaars are sensory feasts and one of the most essential and authentic of Istanbul experiences.

We also recommend you to visit the Galata and Taksim neighborhoods , the modern part of the city.

Cruise Ship Passenger Itinerary : 6 hours

You will only need to take a tram as for transportation, for our Istanbul cruise ship passenger tour itinerary. So get an IstanbulKart that you can have access all the public transportation network of Istanbul.

One ride is only 4,03 TL (about €0,4), and you can obtain this card (with 13 TL initial fee) at the ticket machines at any tram station near the Istanbul Cruise port.

If you’ll have an overnight stay, 1 day or plus 1 day layover, please check out our one day Istanbul itinerary or 3 day Istanbul itinerary , as well as Istanbul attractions opening hours & admissions .

Stop-1 -> Sultanahmet Square (1,5 hours)

Your cruise ship boarded at Galataport and you’re free to go now! You are just in the heart of Istanbul, no need for a shuttle or transfer for the city center.

Head up to Tophane tram stop on foot, take tram to Sultanahmet . After about 20 minutes, you are now by the Sultanahmet Square , one of the most tourist area of the city with loads of historic sights such as mosques, churches, museums, etc.

cruise tour to istanbul

Once being a Byzantium hippodrome from the 4th century, the square itself hosts the famous historic places and sights that include; the Egyptian Obelisk , the  Serpentine Column , the  Colossus  or the  Column of Costantine Porphyrgenitus  and the  German Fountain .

Enjoy the sights and sounds here (about 1 hour) and make sure you visit at least one of these greatest sights of the city, by entering inside: Hagia Sophia Museum (1 hour), Topkapi Palace Museum (1,5 hours), Blue Mosque (45 minutes), Istanbul Archaeology Museums (1 hour), Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts (1 hour), and Basilica Cistern (45 minutes). We recommend Hagia Sophia .

For the other museums and sights, you don’t have enough time to explore them all, and even looking the other sights from the outside will be a unique experience in itself.

Before you head up to Hagia Sophia, you can have a rest for 15 minutes, and try Turkish coffee or any other drinks at the several good cafes around the Sultanahmet Square.

Stop-2 -> Hagia Sophia Museum (1 hour)

cruise tour to istanbul

Dating back to 325, Hagia Sophia is a former church and mosque and declared as one of the world’s greatest architectural works and accepted as the 8th wonder of the world.

This amazing landmark is situated just by the Sultanahmet Square. You should buy Hagia Sophia Fast Track Entry Ticket (plus guidance and audio app) to avoid the long queues as you have very limited time.

  • Hagia Sophia Skip-the-Line Tickets (fastest option and cheapest price on net)
  • Combo: Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern & Hagia Sophia Tour (one of the best)
  • Hagia Sophia Tour with Historian Guide (if you want a pro-guide with you)
  • Combo Ticket & Tour ( all in one - Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace & Basilica Cistern, our favorite , no need to look for else, trust us)
  • Hagia Sophia: Guided Highlights Tour and In-App Audio Guide (great one)
  • Hagia Sophia: Entry with Guided Tour (good one)

You’ll feel hungry after the Hagia Sophia tour. You can find loads of tourist cafes and restaurants along the Sultanahmet Square and along the tram road.

We’d recommend Historical 1920 Sultanahmet Koftecisi  (Divan Yolu Str., No: 12) to taste the delicious grills meat balls and the sweet Semolinacake . Expect to spend about €8,00 a person for this menu.

Stop-3 -> Taksim & Istiklal Street (1,5 hours)

Take the tram from Sultanahmet to Kabatas (20 minutes – last stop), and there take the funicular (5 minutes) to reach Taksim .

You’are now in the famous Taksim Square . Take some photos along the square and start your walking tour along the Istiklal Street .

Istiklal Street is probably the most famous street and entertainment area in Istanbul. It is a long colorful pedestrian street full of all kind of shops, restaurants, cafes and street shows.

You can visit one of these sights by entering inside: Madame Tussauds Wax Museum  (30 minutes), the amazing St. Anthony of Padua Church (30 minutes) and Pera Museum (30 minutes). We recommend St.Anthony of Padua Church .

You’ll finish off Istiklal Street heading Tunel Square (end of the Istiklal Street) and walking downhill from the Galip Dede ramp until you reach the Galata Tower .

You’ll find and enjoy variety of lovely craft, souvenir and music shops as well as a couple of art galleries along the Galip Dede ramp .

Stop-4 -> Galata Tower (1 hour)

Galata Tower , topped with a distinctive witch’s-hat roof, is one of the most impressive and popular landmarks in Istanbul. Dating back to 14th century, the tower is an old Genoese tower overlooking the city that rises to a height of 72 meters above its base.

Galata Tower serves as a popular tourist sight, that its  observatory deck has a 360 degrees view of Istanbul . There are two elevators in the entrance that takes you to the top. You’ll find amazing views of the Historical Peninsula, Golden Horn and Bosphorus on top that encompasses Istanbul. Take photos, as much as you can.

You can spend here about  30 to 45 minutes .

From the Galata Tower, you can stroll along the sweet narrow streets with variety of shops, take photos, and walk another 15 minutes along the coast to get back to the cruise port.

After Dinner & Night-time Activities

If you have an overnight stay, or have enough time for the evening activities, you can;

* Have a snack or drink in one of the rooftop restaurants and cafes in Galata and Karakoy neighborhood, along with the beautiful views of Bosphorus.

* Finish the night in one of the taverns, bars or restaurants at the Nevizade or Asmalimescit , along Istiklal Street in Taksim with a Turkish cuisine.

* Or spend the night in one of the music clubs , bars or pubs in the Galata or Taksim neighborhood.

* Or if you want something exciting, unique and special with lively shows, such as Turkish classical music, belly dancing, whirling dervishes, or folkloric shows, than we highly recommend the below programs:

  • Whirling Dervishes Show at Hodjapasha Culture Center (daily at 19:00-20:00) or Orient Express Hall (daily at 19:30-20:30), in Sirkeci
  • Bosphorus Dinner Cruise with Entertainment (daily at 20:00-23:00, from Kabatas)

Keep in mind that should be around Galata or Karakoy as to access the port on foot in about 15-20 minutes.

How to get from the Cruise Port to the City Center?

You are lucky that Istanbul’s current temporary Cruise port is located in the heart of the city, very close, within walking distance to all popular sights and sounds of the historic center of the city. The best way to get to the Istanbul major tourist zones, which are Sultanahmet, Galata and Taksim, is to take the Bagcilar-Kabatas tram (T1 line)  or taking public buses.

You can check the Istanbul Railway Network Map  for the Tram stops and  Istanbul Ferry Lines Map  for ferries.

You can also catch a taxi , but this will definitely be the most expensive way, although you will feel comfortable in getting back your cruise on time.

You can buy Private Guided Istanbul’s Highlights Tour to save yourself from the hassle of all those arrangements.

How to Get Around Istanbul?

You may find variety of options for getting around Istanbul. We can say that, from your Cruise port, the popular sights and sounds of the city can be accessed by walking or via short tram ride.

The three busiest areas for tourists, that include Sultanahmet ,  Galata  and  Taksim , are easy to get around on foot. Istanbul offers a huge network of public transportation that include;  buses  and  railways  such as  metro, tram systems  and  Marmaray . You may read more on our Getting Around Istanbul and Public Transportation page.

How to Save Money in Istanbul?

Attraction discount cards.

There are variety of sightseeing discount passes and cards for Istanbul, which is one of the best ways to save money during your stay in Istanbul.

However, most of the Istanbul travel passes and cards are not very well-suited for a very short visit from a cruise ship, such as popular travel passes and cards like Istanbul Welcome Card , Istanbul E-Pass , Istanbul Tourist Pass , and Istanbul Museum Pass  are unlikely to save you enough money to justify the investment unless you have more than 1 day in Istanbul.

See Four Seasons' upcoming ultra-luxury cruise with a $350,000-a-week suite bigger than most homes

  • Four Seasons says it will begin sailing an  ultra-luxury yacht cruise in January 2026.
  • The 222-guest vessel would have 95 spacious suites and 11 dining options — but food wouldn't be free.
  • The largest suite would have four floors and bedrooms, a spa, and a price of $350,000 per sailing.

Insider Today

Four Seasons plans to expand its high-end hotels and resorts portfolio with a luxury 222-guest cruise ship.

The company says the 95-suite vessel will debut in January 2026 and cost a minimum of $20,000 per weeklong sailing.

For that price, the luxury hospitality giant says travelers would enjoy a one-to-one guest-to-staff ratio and massive suites spanning as many as four floors. If all goes as planned, the 679-foot-long Four Seasons I could become one of the most expensive and opulent options in the cruise industry.

The ultra-plush 14-deck Four Seasons I is scheduled for 19 voyages in 2026 to more than 130 Caribbean and Mediterranean ports.

Reservations opened two weeks ago. Those interested can register to join a waitlist or book through a travel agent.

So far, "sales have been very encouraging, and the demand is exciting to see," Thatcher Brown, chief commercial officer and head of joint operations for Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings, told Business Insider in a statement. The company is a joint owner and operator of Four Seasons Yachts.

Renderings make the Four Seasons I look as opulent as the brand's land-based properties.

cruise tour to istanbul

Four Seasons says its vessel will have 95 suites ranging from 537 to 9,975 square feet, some with three bedrooms.

The smallest suite starts at $19,700 for a five-night roundtrip voyage to Athens, Greece.

No windowless interior cabins here: Like other ultra-luxe cruises, the suites would all have terraces and floor-to-ceiling windows.

cruise tour to istanbul

Customers could expect upscale amenities like a walk-in closet, down-filled duvets and pillows, and marble dual vanity bathrooms, per Four Seasons.

The most premium suites would also feature additional accommodations for "personal assistants," such as au pairs or security personnel.

Some options, like the 7,952-square-foot Loft Suite, could be adjoined with seven other cabins to accommodate up to 20 people.

cruise tour to istanbul

Without connecting cabins, the Loft Suite would already have three bedrooms and bathrooms, a powder room, and a sauna.

Others, like the largest Funnel Suite, would have its own spa and kitchen.

cruise tour to istanbul

Four Seasons says the 9,975-square-foot mansion, partially perched in the ship's glass-lined funnel , will span four floors, four bathrooms, three bedrooms, and three powder rooms.

Not to mention the private elevator, pool, and $350,000-a-voyage price tag.

Accommodations of this price and size are generally unheard of in the cruise industry.

cruise tour to istanbul

Luxury operator Silversea says the largest suite on its upcoming 728-guest Silver Ray will be 1,324 square feet. Competitor Regent Seven Seas' new Seven Seas Grandeur debuted in 2023 with a more expansive six-guest 4,443-square-foot option.

Both suites' sizes and prices — Regent's starts at $42,000 per person for a total of $252,000 at maximum occupancy — would be stunted by Four Seasons' promise of a 9,975-square-foot, $350,000 floating mansion.

But cabins with six-digit prices aren't unheard of.

cruise tour to istanbul

While not a luxury cruise line, Royal Caribbean's popular three-floor townhouse on the new Icon of the Seas is being booked at an average of $100,000 a week — although it's about four times smaller than Four Seasons' largest.

Royal Caribbean and other mass-market cruise lines are beloved, in part, for their unlimited complimentary food options.

cruise tour to istanbul

Regent Seven Seas' all-inclusive fare also covers caviar, foie gras, and Champagne.

But don't expect any of these to be free on the Four Seasons I.

Breakfast would be complimentary. Lunch, dinner, and booze would not.

cruise tour to istanbul

The vessel's 11 restaurants and lounges would be priced similarly to Four Seasons' on-land properties. (A dinner entrée at its resort on the Caribbean island of Nevis — also one of the ship's destinations — ranges from $34 to $163.)

The pricing structure may sound odd to most cruise traditionalists. (Hey, at least WiFi would be "free.")

cruise tour to istanbul

But some of the ship's amenities could look familiar: Like most cruise liners, the Four Seasons I would have a pool, spa, and clubs for children and teens.

The company also promises a lounge and marina that will open onto the water, giving guests direct access to activities like snorkeling or windsurfing.

Four Seasons Yachts plans to take delivery of its $399 million vessel, now being built by famed Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri, in late 2025.

cruise tour to istanbul

A second Fincantieri-built ship would join the hospitality company's fleet the following year. The next vessel would cost more than 400 million euros, about $429.2 million, Four Seasons says.

This isn’t Four Seasons' first foray into itinerary-based vacations.

cruise tour to istanbul

The company has also found "tremendous success" in its private jet-based "cruises," Alejandro Reynal, the president and CEO of Four Seasons, told BI in a statement.

Its 2024 vacation-by-air itineraries started at $135,000 for a 16-day Asia tour. Demand has been growing, he said, "signaling that luxury travelers are looking for immersive, exclusive, end-to-end travel journeys that allow them to explore the world with their favorite brands."

But its new ultra-luxe cruise arm would be entering an increasingly crowded luxury market, soon to be dominated by like-minded hospitality giants.

cruise tour to istanbul

High-end Aman Resorts and Orient Express plan to launch their own luxury cruises in 2027 and 2026, respectively.

Staying ahead of the competition, Ritz-Carlton debuted its first 149-suite Evrima yacht cruise in 2021, with a second 224-cabin ship scheduled to begin sailing later this year. Its least expensive itinerary is currently $5,100 per person for a six-night voyage from Barbados to Puerto Rico in early 2025.

Interested in a hotelier-owned vacation at sea but don't want to pay the luxury price tag? Margaritaville's cruise is an affordable $75 for two nights.
