This is a vintage “Clem” travel iron made by Clayton, Lewis, & Miller Ltd. in England. It is a pretty electric blue color with a black handle.
Measures 4″ by 2.4″
It is in good condition. There is some wear and spots on the metal part, On the inside of the handle there are some red marks. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description.

Clem electric travelling iron. Black body, blue handle and cable, with bayonet plug on end for fitting into light socket. 1950-1965. Travelling irons like this one often plugged into the light socket, as 1950s houses had few wall sockets. People would take travelling irons on holiday, as many families went away for the first time.
