Mon Laferte Announces U.S. & Latin America ‘Autopoiética Tour’

Update 2/21: Mon Laferte has updated and extended her Autopoiética Tour dates. The revised dates  include Rosemont, IL (May 2), Boston, MA (May 5), New York, NY (May 7), Atlanta, GA (May 9), and Lake Buena Vista, FL (May 10). She will continue to Miami Beach, FL (May 12), McAllen, TX (May 15), Austin, TX (May 16), Houston, TX (May 17), and Irving, TX (May 19). Her last Texan date is in El Paso on May 21.

The second half of the tour continues with San Francisco, CA (May 24), Los Angeles, CA (May 25), San Diego, CA (May 26), Phoenix, AZ (May 28), and Seattle, WA (May 31). Her last tour date will be at the inaugural La Onda 2024 music festival in Napa, CA (June 2).

Mon Laferte is hitting the road after releasing her latest album Autopoiética . On Dec. 4, the Chilean singer-songwriter announced her upcoming Autopoiética Tour , which will reach Latin America and the U.S. in 2024. The U.S. leg starts in Chicago, IL, on May 3 and wraps up in Napa, CA, on June 2.

Mon’s taking her new, experimental sounds to Latin American regions like Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, and Guatemala before coming to the U.S. The global tour will start in Puebla on Feb. 29. It will continue to Toluca (Mar. 3), Querétaro (Mar. 6), Monterrey (Mar. 8), Tijuana, (Mar. 10), and Mérida (Mar. 15). The last Mexican stops are Guadalajara (Mar. 20) and Mexico City (Mar. 21). 

The “40 y MM” singer will then travel to Montevideo, Uruguay (Apr. 2), Buenos Aires, Argentina (Apr. 4), and Antofagasta, Chile (Apr. 8). Up next, she will perform in Chile in the cities of Santiago (Apr. 10), Concepción (Apr. 12), and her hometown Viña del Mar (Apr. 13). After, she will take her music to Lima, Peru (Apr. 16), Quito, Ecuador (Apr. 18), and Bogotá, Colombia (Apr. 20). Her last Latin American leg dates are in San José, Costa Rica (Apr. 23), Tegucigalpa, Honduras (Apr. 25), and Guatemala City, Guatemala (Apr. 27).

Her U.S. leg starts in Chicago, IL, on May 3. The 16-city U.S. tour will continue to New York, NY (May 5), Atlanta, GA (May 9), Miami, FL (May 11), Lake Buena Vista, FL (May 12), and Houston, TX (May 15). It will also hit Texan cities like Austin (May 16), Hidalgo (May 17), Irving (May 19), and El Paso (May 22).

The last stretch includes Inglewood, CA (May 24), San Francisco, CA (May 25), San Diego, CA (May 26), Phoenix, AZ (May 28), and Seattle, WA (May 30). The Autopoiética Tour will conclude at the inaugural La Onda 2024 music festival in Napa, CA (June 2).

I arrived at 7:25 pm there was so much traffic but I made it to see her perform. Mon Laferte, gave a great performance just like when i see her videos, I was blown away with her singing and dancing and how she made the audience part of her show. One of the best concert I attended this year and it was free under the moon light and at the beach. i loved it so much will continue to go to her concerts coming up. Thank You so much mon Laferte for coming to Santa Monica, or California in general. Love Your performance and songs, as well as your Band great job Boys.

I've seen Mon Laferte live plenty of times and it never gets old. Her energy on stage is incomparable. Along with her live band, she manages to always make the audience feel like they're part of the show too. Her live vocals are phenomenal and definitely something worth seeing in person. Last night was definitely one of my favorite shows and a treat for everyone there. She booked a small intimate show in between her Coachella dates and I'm so glad I made it out to see her. Definitely check her show if she's ever playing near you!

I saw her at the House of Blues in San Diego.She was incredible... Whether She plays solo with her guitar or when her amazingly talented band.I had seen her videos and was impressed with her heartfelt honesty and delivery but I think her Live show was one of my favourite ever.The Energy and authenticity and connection with the audience was unique as it went through many moods and tempos. She's a one of a kind artist.

We’ve seen her three time and every time was as good or better than the time before. She engages the loving crowd like no one else and you’d think she was singing just for you if you get anywhere near the stage. Her songs are so full of real passion and drama that you live the emotion of her lyrics as the audience sings and cries along with her. It’s an experience you will not forget, that’s for sure!

Finally had the chance to see Mon Laferte play at el Auditorio Nacional and she didnt disappoint! Got to experience the show front row and though I've seen her plenty times it never gets boring. She puts on such an energetic,playful and emotional show. Her passion for her music keeps me drawn in. Cant wait for her to come back to the US and tour for NORMA.

SHE WAS AMAZING!!! THE ENTIRE SHOW WAS AWESOME! HER PASSION AND HER GREAT ATTITUDE MADE THE LONG WAIT WORTH IT! SHES A GREAT PERFORMER AND SINGER! THE REST OF THE BAND PUT ON A GREAT SHOW! I ENJOYED EVERYTHING! THE FLOWER THEME, HER DRESS, HER MAKE UP!!!! :) LOVED IT!!!

If you love her music as much as I do I promise her live performance will leave you with no regrets. Seeing everyone preform live was just amazing. Her music is the kind that can get you hyped and dancing but also the kind you listen to when doing chores or chilling.

Concert was great..HOWEVER, Mon LaFerte did NOT perform which was a biiiig bummer especially since we did not find out until about 15 min before the doors opened. Oh well, like I said the concert was great and it was for a great cause. ¡Viva Mexico!

Mon Laferte has great musicians that compliment her voice and style. She made the performance fun to watch and was glad she engaged the audience to participate throughout the show. She is a great artist that is peaking with her performances.

Mon Laferte Announces Her U.S. National Tour Kicking Off September 14 In Seattle

Chilean artist Mon Laferte has announced a two-month tour of the U.S. this morning behind her recent album, SEIS . Produced by Live Nation, the coast-to-coast run goes on sale beginning Friday, July 23 at 10 am local time HERE and will kick off September 14 in Seattle. The run will then head down the West Coast for shows at the famed Wiltern in Los Angeles and cross the country from Phoenix to Brooklyn wrapping back west in Tucson. SEIS is an intensely personal album inspired by a documentary about Mexican singer Chavela Vargas, who is best known for revolutionizing Mexican ranchera music. The songs were born during the global pandemic and heavy isolation, and include carefully crafted lyrics, brought forth from self-reflection, allowing Mon to explore her deepest feelings, leaving nothing but vulnerability at this rare time.

SEIS was recently nominated for two Premios Juventud awards, Mon’s powerful duet with Alejandro Fernandez , “ Que Se Sepa Nuestro Amor ,” for ‘Best Regional Mexican Fusion’ and her feminine call to arms, “ La Mujer ,” a duet with Gloria Trevi , for the ‘Girl Power’ award. The Mexico, youth-focused awards celebrating the best in pop culture, are presented by Univision. Winners will be announced on July 22.

Rolling Stone called “Que Se Sepa Nuestro Amor,” “ theatrical ,” adding, “ Fernández and Laferte exchange operatic verses befit for a bodice-ripping romance novel. ” Billboard said, “ It’s the collaboration we didn’t know we needed… one of the most attractive pairings of the year. “

Discussing “La Mujer,” The New York Times said, “Mon Laferte infuses vintage styles with up-to-date sentiments and fierce attitude” and The New Yorker added, “Laferte channels [Chavela] Vargas’s ability to convey both fierce grit and shattered vulnerability.” Robin Hilton at NPR Music noted SEIS , “Reminded me of a Chilean Édith Piaf…It’s easy to imagine her performing these songs late at night in a little club somewhere.”

Mon Laferte Announces 'Autopoiética' Tour

Autopoiética has shaken all corners of the world, and Mon Laferte today announced a tour that will bring this album born of reinvention and creative freedom to the stage. 

The Autopoiética Tour will begin on February 29, 2024, in Puebla and continue throughout March through Toluca, Querétaro, Monterrey, Tijuana, Mérida, Guadalajara, and Mexico City. In April, the artist will make the journey South to Central America with shows in Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Costa Rica, Honduras, and Guatemala. During May and June, the tour will cross the United States. 

Mon declares this tour will include music from all eight albums and will be much more theatrical than previous tours. It promises to be full of surprises as Mon is an artist who builds small worlds within her artistry: the composition, video clips, musical production of her songs, and on-stage elements are always integrated.

It all makes up her universe and that of Autopoiética will be one of the most audacious she has built.  "I feel like I'm my most confident ever in myself and in my music. I have a clarity that I didn't have before. I'm also becoming less prejudiced. 'The devil knows more because he's old than because he's the devil', they say. I suppose there is some of that," she says. 

About Mon Laferte:

Inside Norma Monserrat Bustamante Laferte also lives the Latin American singer-songwriter and visual artist Mon Laferte. A creator who, in her music, moves naturally in a wide variety of genres. From musical influences that she cultivated since she was a teenager in her native Viña del Mar, to what she has learned from Mexico, her second home since 2007, where she released her first albums independently.

"Chilean singer-songwriter Mon Laferte has a voice for every passion. She is capable of addressing the personal and the political, lulling a romantic ballad or leading a hard rock attack." This is how the renowned music critic Jon Pareles defined her in The New York Times.

She has eight albums to date: Desechable (2011), Tornasol (2013), Mon Laferte Vol. 1 (2015), La Trenza (2017), Norma (2018), Seis (2021), 1940 Carmen (2021), and Autopoiética (2023). They are the result of experimentation and overcoming the fear of trial and error. 

Throughout her career Mon has performed at major venues such as Coachella, Vive Latino, Viña del Mar, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Hollywood Bowl, Lincoln Center, Movistar Arena Chile, Movistar Arena Argentina and the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City, to name a few. She has earned four Latin GRAMMY Awards and two GRAMMY nominations. Selling millions of albums worldwide, Mon Laferte has already established herself as one of the most important singer-songwriters.

Mon Laferte Will Tour ‘Autopoiética' Across the U.S. in May

Mon Laferte is bringing the songs off her ninth LP across the United States. On Monday, Laferete announced that she's heading on the road to perform songs from her recently released LP, Autopoiética .

The singer will commence her run of shows in Chicago before stopping at New York City's the Theater at Madison Square Garden, Austin's Moody Amphitheater, and Los Angeles' Kia Forum, among other venues.

Tickets for the shows go on sale on Feb. 15 at 10 am. local time, although fans with Citicards can purchase tickets beginning Tuesday, Feb. 13.

Laferte sat down to speak about Autopoiética with Rolling Stone , during which she described the album as "hypnotic and subversive… never afraid of its own intensity." The LP featured songs such as "Tenochtitlán," "Amantes Suicidas," and "Pornocracia."

"This album is about breaking free of all the ties that bind. This album is about not holding back. That is how I define success: being free to create," Laferte told Rolling Stone . "I feel happy and successful to be a creative, 40-year-old woman who doesn't have to follow any musical trend to be fashionable."

Mon Laferte has announced a tour in support of her celebrated new album Autopoiética . The live show will bring this album born of reinvention and creative freedom to the stage.

The Autopoiética Tour will begin on February 29, 2024, in Puebla and continue throughout March through Toluca, Querétaro, Monterrey, Tijuana, Mérida, Guadalajara, and Mexico City. In April, the artist will make the journey south to Central America with shows in Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Costa Rica, Honduras, and Guatemala. During May and June, the tour will cross the United States.

Mon has said that this tour will include music from all eight albums and will be much more theatrical than previous tours. It promises to be full of surprises as Mon is an artist who builds small worlds within her artistry: the composition, video clips, musical production of her songs, and on-stage elements are always integrated.

It all makes up her universe and that of Autopoiética will be one of the most audacious she has built. “I feel like I’m my most confident ever in myself and in my music. I have a clarity that I didn’t have before. I’m also becoming less prejudiced. ‘The devil knows more because he’s old than because he’s the devil,’ they say. I suppose there is some of that,” she says.

The new album is highlighted by singles such as “NO+SAD,” which was presented along with a wild and powerful video from Chilean director Camila Grandi, filmed in the town of Tepito. “The video talks about Mon’s overexposure to such a level that we make it a metaphor of her objectification, as if she were a piece of food,” says the director. “Las Gardenias” make a stellar appearance as well. The group has been active for 50 years as a transvestite and transsexual soccer team, because existing and resisting is a political act, not only in Tepito, but around the entire continent and planet.

El 2023 marcó un año importante en las giras de artistas latinos de múltiples géneros musicales, incluyendo el reggaetón, la música mexicana y el pop. Representan una amplia variedad de artistas que han diversificado los charts de giras de Billboard , según el resumen de Boxscore de fin de año. Sorprendentemente, cada vez más artistas de habla hispana también realizan giras por estadios, como fue el caso de  Fuerza Regida ,  RBD  y  Karol G . Esta última llegó al No. 11 de la lista Top Tours 2023 con una recaudación de 146,9 millones de dólares de 843.000 entradas vendidas en solo 19 fechas de su gira por estadios de Estados Unidos Mañana Será Bonito.

Y el próximo año luce igual de prometedor.

Apenas unos días después de lanzar Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana , Bad Bunny anunció su gira Most Wanted U.S. Tour 2024, producida por Live Nation y Rimas, que comenzará el 21 de febrero en Salt Lake City y terminará el 26 de mayo en Miami. Le seguirá a su gira por estadios World’s Hottest Tour de Bad Bunny, que cerró en 2022 con una cifra récord de 435 millones de dólares en ingresos brutos por concepto de giras.

El astro del reggaetón Don Omar  anunció su regreso a los escenarios con su muy esperado Back To Reggaeton U.S. Tour. El recorrido producido por CMN, que comenzará en marzo en Reading, Pensilvania, hará paradas en Nueva York, Los Ángeles, Miami y Las Vegas, entre otras ciudades. Otros artistas que saldrán de gira el próximo año son  Pepe Aguilar ,  Laura Pausini , Hombres G y  Gloria Trevi .

La artista mexicana Alicia Villarreal saldrá de gira en 2024 con Donde Todo Comenzó, en la que llevará a los fans en un viaje al pasado interpretando sus grandes éxitos de los años 90 y de la actualidad. La excantante de Grupo Límite visitará 16 ciudades de Estados Unidos, incluyendo Denver, Phoenix y Houston, en este tour producido por Live Nation. En primavera, el cantautor colombiano se embarcará en su gira Tengo Ganars por 19 ciudades de Estados Unidos. El recorrido, que contará con el invitado especial Alejandro Santamaría, comienza el 9 de abril en Nashville y finaliza el 4 de mayo en Charlotte, Carolina del Norte, haciendo paradas en Los Ángeles, Houston, Miami, Nueva York y otras ciudades.

“A diferencia de La Ruta Púrpura, que se basó en sonidos acústicos del gran piano, el contrabajo y los vientos, esta nueva gira Tengo Ganas se sumerge en el polo opuesto de mi carrera. Romeo Santos  y  Aventura  se reunirán una vez más para su gira Cerrando Ciclos 2024. Producida por CMN Events, la gira de 20 fechas comenzará el 1 de mayo en Sacramento, y concluye en Dallas el 11 de junio, con dos fechas adicionales en Canadá. Gira : Camino

Tras haber ganado el Latin Grammy 2023 al mejor álbum flamenco, Niña Pastori sale al ruedo en 2024 con gira Camino, que lleva el nombre del galardonado álbum. La estrella española comenzará su breve recorrido el 25 de abril en Town Hall en Nueva York y finalizará el 5 de mayo en Orlando, Florida. También visitará a sus fans en Washington y Miami. Pandora & Flans

Gira : Inesperado U.S. Tour

Los icónicos grupos mexicanos Pandora y Flans se embarcarán en una gira conjunta denominada Inesperado Tour. Es la primera vez que las dos bandas lideradas por mujeres llevan su gira Estados Unidos. Su recorrido comenzará el 16 de mayo en San Antonio e incluirá Los Ángeles, Phoenix, Chicago y Atlanta antes de concluir el 23 de junio en Miami. Mira las fechas aquí .

Pepe Aguilar

Gira:  Jaripeo Hasta Los Huesos

Pepe Aguilar anunció el regreso de su gira junto a su familia, arraigada en la tradición, la música y la cultura mexicana. Esta producción contará con un nuevo look, con una temática que rinde homenaje a una de las celebraciones del Día de Muertos en México. Según un comunicado de prensa, este nuevo tour “llevará al público a un viaje visual y musical que se remonta al origen de la dinastía Aguilar a través de canciones clásicas y favoritas de varias generaciones”.

La gira por 20 ciudades comienza con dos noches en el Honda Center en Anaheim, California, el 29 y 30 de marzo, y luego continúa por todo Estados Unidos antes de concluir en Sacramento, California, en el Golden 1 Center, el 20 de julio. Mira la lista completa de fechas aquí .

Gira:  ‘Ta Malo USA Tour

El artista tropical colombiano Silvestre Dangond saldrá de gira en 2024 con ‘Ta Malo. El recorrido de 17 fechas, presentado por Loud and Live, comenzará el 12 de abril en Orlando y finalizará en San Juan, Puerto Rico el 9 de junio. Consulta todas las fechas aquí abajo:

Víctor Manuelle

Gira:  Retromántico

Victor Manuelle celebra sus 30 años de carrera con la gira Retromántico, que comenzará en la primavera. Promovido por CMN Events y La Commission, el recorrido de un mes, en el que el salsero puertorriqueño interpretará sus mayores éxitos, comenzará el 26 de abril en el Rosemont Theatre de Chicago y concluirá en el Beacon Theatre de Nueva York el 25 de mayo. Los boletos salen a la venta a las 10 a.m. (locales) del viernes (2 de febrero) en Ticketmaster y las taquillas de los recintos donde se presentará el artista.

Gira:  2024 Poco A Poco Tour

La estrella emergente del regional mexicano Xavi sale por primera vez de gira estadounidense. El cantautor mexicano-estadounidense de 19 años comenzará la temporada de 24 fechas el 28 de marzo con dos conciertos en México, antes de arrancar el 2 de abril su recorrido por Estados Unidos en Los Ángeles, en el Roxy Theatre. Hará escalas en Seattle, Portland, Phoenix y Las Vegas, entre otras ciudades, antes de concluir en San Antonio el 12 de mayo.
