I travelled on June 15 to 17, 2024 three day trip to Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec, I booked the ticket with my American Express two times it didn't work and third time I used visa card and I got the confirmation. Upon checking they took the payment 3 times and I am keep calling them 3-4 weeks and there is no proper response for the refund. Worst cheating company taking payment 3-4 time and not refunding properly. I celled 10-12 times and emailed still no response for refund. Zero Customer Service

Paid 60 dollars each for a 30 dollar menu meal. Wasn't asked how I like my food . Over cooked , microwave fries. The maple syrup farm was fake fraud tourist trap.

I myself was travelling to the U.S.A for the first time with my girlfriend so finding this tour to Boston-New York was really a surprise because the value of the tour was more than what I had paid for. Tour guide Daniel To and Bus Driver Ray provided a 5 star quality tour sights and accommodations such as the Hilton. Their joint experience guided us in every way from where to find the best food place and how to safe time and money. They were an amazing team with an awesome attitude. I am so thankful to Taipan tours for providing an unforgettable experience for my girlfriend and I. This is definitely the company I am booking my next tour on. Till the next one! Hi, Tai Pan Tours: We have just participated in your company's Eastern Canada & The Maritimes 7 Days Tour, our order number: SK-00292-TPH, it was a good experience. The tour guide, Daniel, is very professional and dedicated. The driver, Minic, has good driving skills and is very responsible. We applaud your company for having such good employees. Group 16,17 &18 tourists

Merits: Good value for the money, Great Hotels for the stay. Eva the tour guide was really good, tried her best to accommodate. She is very energetic and smiling. Driver is awesome nice guy. Will recommend if few things are fixed. Overall it's a Demerits: Very small seats in the bus/ no leg room, No power outlet to charge the gadgets, Movies played in Chinese(It's Canada come on now!!!). East Canada Tour was kind of good, only one concern is Not enough time for Montreal ( only1 hour), but more than 3 hours in Old Quebec City, which is useless. It could have been two hours at both places.

Absolutely trashy experience with this tour company. We booked a three day tour covering Kingston, Montreal, Quebec City and 1000 islands. Firstly the bus on day 1 came in late. And secondly as soon as we got in, the tour guide started collecting gratuity. How can you start collecting tip on day one without giving any service ? The tour guide named "Perry" kept talking for one hour as soon as we got in the bus, all irrelevant things. This is a budgeted tour so I have no complains about the time they gave us at each locations but the food options that they gave were pathetic. Everyday the only choice they gave us was to have Chinese buffet. If we did not sign up for that, there was no other food option. Absolutely disgusting. On the last day the tour guide stopped at 10:00 am for an early "lunch". Who the hell can have a buffet meal at 10:00 am This bus driver was absolutely rude and bossy. Taipan tours forget that we pay them money to take us on these tours. They treat everyone like garbage and act as if they are doing an obligation on us by taking us around. Tai Pan tours is a travel agency/bus tour operator that provides daily bus tours to Casino Rama and sells flight & bus packages to Asia and the US. The following review will be broken down into two reviews. One for the daily bus tour to Casino Rama and one for the 3 day shopping tour to New York City. I'll start off with the daily bus tour to Casino Rama which they are most known for in the Chinese community. First off you would call into their customer service line (416-646-8838) to reserve a seat and the customer service agent gives you a confirmation # to confirm your seat. The cost is $10 round trip unless you have a gold card or higher. The trip takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from the Scarborough/Markham area, there are numerous pick up/drop off locations around the city. Positives: There are numerous pick up/drop locations around the city, it's a cheap and convenient way to go to Casino Rama (it's $10 round trip unless you have a gold or higher which means the trip is free). Buses depart back to Toronto from Casino Rama approximately every 2 hours around the clock with the exception of the morning. Negatives: The buses are old and the washrooms are not that clean, 75% of the time the hand sanitizer dispensers are empty. Also on the returning bus ride, the bus host will ask for a $5 day gratuity which they state is not compulsory but most people only tip a dollar or two. The second part of this review is based off a 3 day shopping day tour to New York City. The shopping bus tour trip to NYC is a actually a 2.5 star rating. The trip costs $159 for double occupancy which is based off a 3% discount for cash paid. Taxes are on top of this rate. Keep in mind that they will also add a $8 per day mandatory tip to the host/driver that is payable during the trip. The buses they use for the US shopping trips are new and the washrooms are quite clean and well kept in comparison to the buses used for the daily trips to Casino Rama. The first day is spent on the road and it takes close 12 hours to get to the hotel due to breaks and stops at shopping malls along the way. The tour stops for dinner at a local Chinese buffet near the destination which is optional. The second day is spent in NYC but keep in mind that the time you spend in New York City will only be for a few hours and then the bus after lunch will head to Woodbury Common premium outlet which is supposedly one of the biggest shopping outlets in the US. The third day is essentially the bus ride home back to Toronto with a stop at a smaller US shopping outlet. Important disclaimer: Two things that must be noted and is stated in the disclaimer is that the hotels are located in New Jersey and not New York City which is part of the reason why they are able to offer a trip to New York at such a cheap rate and you only spend a few hours in New York City on the second day. The 3 day bus package is ideal for people looking for a shopping excursion to numerous shopping outlets around New York City but will be a disappointment for people who are looking to go sightseeing and looking to fully explore the great city of New York.

Tai Pan Tours provided the worst travel experience and customer service experience of my life. My fiance and I booked a tour to travel to Chicago from Richmond Hill in May. The bus arrived late to our pick-up and as we descended into the US the air-conditioning system broke. The heat levels were rising and there was no ventilation or air circulation in the bus. We learned that the toilet was also not working and along with the rising heat--it created a very unpleasant stench. One of the blinds in the bus also fell down and created a 5-way crack in the window--this also resulted in added discomfort as we could not shield ourselves from the sun for the duration of our travels. The entire experience on the bus going there and coming back home was terrible and uncomfortable. The entire group was very disappointed with the experience and we contacted Tai Pan as a group to share our experience and request some form of compensation. The company was not apologetic and only offered a $40.00 voucher for our next trip. I would never travel with this company in the future and I recommend travelling with Safeway Tours instead!

Okay. We are now waiting for the bus to pick us up, in the middle of the no where 50 km away from new york in a hotel! The tour guid keeps saying that the bus has a problem and it comes after they fix it! It's been about 6 hours that we are waiting in the lobby! It is totaly disgusting and ridiculous how they are facing this situation and there is no Back up plan for this! They do not want to pay more to get another bus! He keeps lying about the bus arrival! (They have to take the missing part from toronto and come back to us to fix it!!!!!!!!!) On the other hand, We did not have enough time for any of the places we went! They only serve the people who paid more for the all u can eat buffet! Other than that u always can buy over priced food in a garbage plaza! It is absolutely ridiculous to take any other tour with this company! Absolute garbage and absolute waste of time! Spend 50 more dollars and find a better tour!

This company is not even worth one star. Bunch of unprofessional staff who don't care about people's time. They did not accept our booking because we're not Chinese. I am surprised how a company can even function like this in Canada.

I got a 7day tour to East of Canada on Saturday July 20th, 2024. I had the pleasure of sightseeing during the trip. Thank you to our tour guide Daniel. His communication skills and empathetic approach have always made him a highly respected tour guide. Hi I just wanted to put in a review for Tai Pan Tours Sheppard Avenue East and Brinley office location. Customer Service sales representative Christine and the office staff are knowledgeable friendly. She was quick to respond to questions and process the booking in a fast and timely manner. Professional services and respectful to their clients. The tour trip was fun. A Little bit rush and short on time. Overall it was enjoyable the weather was nice hot and sunny the whole 7 days. It rain thunder storm after the 1000 island boat cruise after our buffet lunch. So that worked out well. Mr Winter tour guide was great. Friendly polite informative on the trip. Explain everything on the bus and before check-in to Hotel for the night. Spoke English Cantonese Mandarin explaining highlights of the destinations and knew where to get the right souvenirs etc. Snacks food so on. The bus driver was well experienced. Fast and knew all the routes. Drove narrow streets and turns up hill and down hills and downtown street in busy traffic was amazing. The hotel that Tai Pan picked out for us were clean. Staff at hotel was friendly. Definitely recommend any of the tai pan tour Trips.

We recently completed an 8-day tour of Italy, covering a remarkable array of places. Our group thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Richard Yang, our tour guide, was exceptionally knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and took excellent care of everyone throughout the tour. The driver was also very skillful and helpful. While the pace of the trip was a bit rushed, considering the multitude of places covered, we understood the necessity. Despite this, we appreciated the opportunity to visit so many attractions. In terms of cost, I would say it was reasonable given the comprehensive nature of the tour. We definitely plan to join another trip in the future.

Recently join the tour to Ottawa tulip tour,very enjoyable and excellent. The tour guide Waver is very knowledgeable and can speak different languages. He also teaches some French to us. A lot of history and historical explanations. Time is controlled very good. The driver Michael is friendly and drived very safe. Moreover, it is very impressed of the Swiss bbq in quabec city. The owner of the restaurant is very friendly and patient

I booked a 4 days tour trip to NY - Philadelphia way back on May 20, 2023 for Sat July 29th - August 1, 2023. I told them that I may move my dates around if there is no penalty. They told me that they will confirm the trip about 3 days ahead of the actual travel date so it is no problem as long as it is more than 2 full weeks. Fast forward to now, my employer wanted me to come back and work on Monday July 31 so I tried to call the Scarborough Taipan Tours office (same place i booked my travel tickets of 4 persons). I like to move my travel date to Wed 07.26 and go home on Sat 07.29 which I have about 19 days BEFORE my travel date. Guess What .. They told me we have to pay a penalty of $400 per person so they can move my dates back... The actual cost for one person ticket is $428... They are completely a rip-off company. There is nothing else out there to do what they are doing with a civilzed staffing. This is crazy. I will file a BBB complaint log against them. This is just a WARNING to everyone who wants to travel with this stupid / greedy company.

Terrible tour company ever! https://www.taipantours.com/ My family took their 3 Days Canada East Tour on Sept 29, 2023. The tour guide cancel Biodome de Montreal without giving a before notice, but on the spot, when trip begin (their reason, biodome too busy, we not going there); everyone's have no say to its. All passengers that wanted to attend biodome before the trip start are now force to choice a tour option (museums) that don't wanna attend to filled up a 4 limits company policy. Forced to pay for something you know you not going to enjoy to begin with, isn't that just BS? Also the tour food suck and expensive, you'll better off stacking up fast food for the tour.

We took the 3 day East Canada tour with Taipan to Montreal, Quebec and 1000 island in the August 2023. Tour guide - Jack 3/5 Bus and Driver - 5/5 Food - 1/5 Locations covered - 3/5 Jack was a very kind, and energetic guide and he had excellent knowledge about the places we went to. Although, my complaint is that the tour felt like a movie being played on fast forward. I am aware of the fact that we had a lot of places to cover in a short time, but this was more of a training camp for us rather than a vacation. Every stop was rushed, whether it was a sightseeing location or a washroom break. For many of us, this will be the only time we would ever visit this country and all these places, hence it seemed unfair for the amount we have paid. Even about the food, most of the places that were arranged by the tour didn't have a lot of options for people with a certain diet restriction(vegetaria). It would have been better to choose those places where options are available other than what was offered by the tour and the tour themselves should have offered options at every location. The guide didn't even ask or try and help for offering options of those who didn't take the tour meals. We appreciate the places we covered, but it could have been less stressful and we would have liked it more if it would have been made more like a holiday rather than rushing us all the time these 3days.

If your trip guide is Mr Perry Chung, please cancel your trip and stay home in peace. Mr Chris , the driver threatened saying " He will kick us out off the bus because he works with federal government and he can do anything" With a profound regrets I write this entire content from our personal opinion for the Two nights and three days trip from Toronto to Kingston, Montreal, Quebec and Thousand Islands. As we all know that, people go on a trip for enjoyment, happiness and make our mindset relaxed with kith and kin. But deeply regret to state that, we have experienced the bitter and worst part from Mr. Perry guide & Mr Chris, the driver, turning our entire Holiday program into a darkness filled with unfavorable, adamant eccentric behaviors from them in a our day to Day aspects of our entire journey period. How could this be?! in a tourism Industry where people from different parts world have faced this in Canada. The time Management part specially for Lunch breaks and wakeup time was a big mishap & Havoc, below are the few observations faced by us a) The day one of pick-up Bus lounge had come by almost 40 minutes delay. Bus was horrible on day one and the next day at Montreal we had different bus with a gift if water leakage from the vents. b) Mr.Perry doesn't have any patience in hearing our grievance nor manners in expressing his views Really unhappy for his dictatorship. There was a polite conversation with him, felt like "we are monkeys trapped in a cage". c) lunch timing on first day was less then 45 minutes, wherein passengers were directed to a long-distance hotel for way to fetch some food also stopped the Bus very far away from the parking area. Here one should understand that, travellers with kids and depending families had to walk long way wasting time in walking alone. VEGETERIANS should take their own lunch for day one. Apparently he works for federal government and has right to do anything with anyone and he has also done this in this previous trips. g) Infurthence, to the above, the entire our time spent in tour was stolen and spoilt away by both of them in terms of Money, happiness and (our precious holiday period) keeping all of us unhappy in darkness of bitter holidays experienced by your grace, we spent with your team. we hereby declare that it was not a worthwhile nor Happy trip organized by Tai Pan Tours company.

We joined Tai Pan Tours Group on Sept15 to 22 to Italy. It was a wonderful experience !! Stevephan Tan was our tour guide during this trip. His work manner, details knowledge, Sense of humour, careless were the keys to make our trip so successful. He put his best efforts on this trip, so we felt comfortable , confident, safety, worry -free for all the time. The Bus driver is Wilson, he was a amazing guy, he cooperated with Stephan Tan well, always think for us, tried to drip us at visit location as closest as possible, so we did not walk to much. He also keep to clean the bus as soon as he had time. It was amazing trip !! We are looking forward joining another trip with stevephan Tan again. I travelled on June 15 to 17, 2024 three day trip to Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec, I booked the ticket with my American Express two times it didn't work and third time I used visa card and I got the confirmation. Upon checking they took the payment 3 times and I am keep calling them 3-4 weeks and there is no proper response for the refund. Worst cheating company taking payment 3-4 time and not refunding properly. I celled 10-12 times and emailed still no response for refund. Zero Customer Service

Paid 60 dollars each for a 30 dollar menu meal. Wasn't asked how I like my food . Over cooked , microwave fries. The maple syrup farm was fake fraud tourist trap.

I myself was travelling to the U.S.A for the first time with my girlfriend so finding this tour to Boston-New York was really a surprise because the value of the tour was more than what I had paid for. Tour guide Daniel To and Bus Driver Ray provided a 5 star quality tour sights and accommodations such as the Hilton. Their joint experience guided us in every way from where to find the best food place and how to safe time and money. They were an amazing team with an awesome attitude. I am so thankful to Taipan tours for providing an unforgettable experience for my girlfriend and I. This is definitely the company I am booking my next tour on. Till the next one! The tour guide, Daniel, is very professional and dedicated. The driver, Minic, has good driving skills and is very responsible. We applaud your company for having such good employees. Group 16,17 &18 tourists

Merits: Good value for the money, Great Hotels for the stay. Eva the tour guide was really good, tried her best to accommodate. She is very energetic and smiling. Driver is awesome nice guy. Will recommend if few things are fixed. Overall it's a Demerits: Very small seats in the bus/ no leg room, No power outlet to charge the gadgets, Movies played in Chinese(It's Canada come on now!!!). East Canada Tour was kind of good, only one concern is Not enough time for Montreal ( only1 hour), but more than 3 hours in Old Quebec City, which is useless. It could have been two hours at both places.

Absolutely trashy experience with this tour company. We booked a three day tour covering Kingston, Montreal, Quebec City and 1000 islands. Firstly the bus on day 1 came in late. And secondly as soon as we got in, the tour guide started collecting gratuity. How can you start collecting tip on day one without giving any service ? The tour guide named "Perry" kept talking for one hour as soon as we got in the bus, all irrelevant things. This is a budgeted tour so I have no complains about the time they gave us at each locations but the food options that they gave were pathetic. Everyday the only choice they gave us was to have Chinese buffet. If we did not sign up for that, there was no other food option. Absolutely disgusting. On the last day the tour guide stopped at 10:00 am for an early "lunch". Who the hell can have a buffet meal at 10:00 am This bus driver was absolutely rude and bossy. Taipan tours forget that we pay them money to take us on these tours. They treat everyone like garbage and act as if they are doing an obligation on us by taking us around. Tai Pan tours is a travel agency/bus tour operator that provides daily bus tours to Casino Rama and sells flight & bus packages to Asia and the US. The following review will be broken down into two reviews. One for the daily bus tour to Casino Rama and one for the 3 day shopping tour to New York City. I'll start off with the daily bus tour to Casino Rama which they are most known for in the Chinese community. First off you would call into their customer service line (416-646-8838) to reserve a seat and the customer service agent gives you a confirmation # to confirm your seat. The cost is $10 round trip unless you have a gold card or higher. The trip takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from the Scarborough/Markham area, there are numerous pick up/drop off locations around the city. Positives: There are numerous pick up/drop locations around the city, it's a cheap and convenient way to go to Casino Rama (it's $10 round trip unless you have a gold or higher which means the trip is free). Buses depart back to Toronto from Casino Rama approximately every 2 hours around the clock with the exception of the morning. Negatives: The buses are old and the washrooms are not that clean, 75% of the time the hand sanitizer dispensers are empty. Also on the returning bus ride, the bus host will ask for a $5 day gratuity which they state is not compulsory but most people only tip a dollar or two. The second part of this review is based off a 3 day shopping day tour to New York City. The shopping bus tour trip to NYC is a actually a 2.5 star rating. The trip costs $159 for double occupancy which is based off a 3% discount for cash paid. Taxes are on top of this rate. Keep in mind that they will also add a $8 per day mandatory tip to the host/driver that is payable during the trip. The buses they use for the US shopping trips are new and the washrooms are quite clean and well kept in comparison to the buses used for the daily trips to Casino Rama. The first day is spent on the road and it takes close 12 hours to get to the hotel due to breaks and stops at shopping malls along the way. The tour stops for dinner at a local Chinese buffet near the destination which is optional. The second day is spent in NYC but keep in mind that the time you spend in New York City will only be for a few hours and then the bus after lunch will head to Woodbury Common premium outlet which is supposedly one of the biggest shopping outlets in the US. The third day is essentially the bus ride home back to Toronto with a stop at a smaller US shopping outlet. Important disclaimer: Two things that must be noted and is stated in the disclaimer is that the hotels are located in New Jersey and not New York City which is part of the reason why they are able to offer a trip to New York at such a cheap rate and you only spend a few hours in New York City on the second day. The 3 day bus package is ideal for people looking for a shopping excursion to numerous shopping outlets around New York City but will be a disappointment for people who are looking to go sightseeing and looking to fully explore the great city of New York.

Tai Pan Tours provided the worst travel experience and customer service experience of my life. My fiance and I booked a tour to travel to Chicago from Richmond Hill in May. The bus arrived late to our pick-up and as we descended into the US the air-conditioning system broke. The heat levels were rising and there was no ventilation or air circulation in the bus. We learned that the toilet was also not working and along with the rising heat--it created a very unpleasant stench. One of the blinds in the bus also fell down and created a 5-way crack in the window--this also resulted in added discomfort as we could not shield ourselves from the sun for the duration of our travels. The entire experience on the bus going there and coming back home was terrible and uncomfortable. The entire group was very disappointed with the experience and we contacted Tai Pan as a group to share our experience and request some form of compensation. The company was not apologetic and only offered a $40.00 voucher for our next trip. I would never travel with this company in the future and I recommend travelling with Safeway Tours instead!

Okay. We are now waiting for the bus to pick us up, in the middle of the no where 50 km away from new york in a hotel! The tour guid keeps saying that the bus has a problem and it comes after they fix it! It's been about 6 hours that we are waiting in the lobby! It is totaly disgusting and ridiculous how they are facing this situation and there is no Back up plan for this! They do not want to pay more to get another bus! He keeps lying about the bus arrival! (They have to take the missing part from toronto and come back to us to fix it!!!!!!!!!) On the other hand, We did not have enough time for any of the places we went! They only serve the people who paid more for the all u can eat buffet! Other than that u always can buy over priced food in a garbage plaza! It is absolutely ridiculous to take any other tour with this company! Absolute garbage and absolute waste of time! Spend 50 more dollars and find a better tour!

This company is not even worth one star. Bunch of unprofessional staff who don't care about people's time. They did not accept our booking because we're not Chinese. I am surprised how a company can even function like this in Canada.

Love their tours packages, so far no complaints with hotels that we get with them. Could be a problem for some people the English pronunciation, but just keep in mind that their market target is the Chinese people. Their buses are comfortable and have wifi.
