Restaurants and Bars on Phuket

One of the nicest meals we had was at the Kampong Kata Hill Restaurant , up on a hill close to the main road on the very north of Kata. A lovely place, really cute and very Thai looking with lovely flowers, and most importantlydelicious food. We really enjoyed our Thai green curry and Stir fry with red curry (see photo). Recommended.

The #98s family continues to prosper as Jimmy takes centre stage on his debut project, Where Should I Start? , which, despite Jimmy coming from a drill outfit features only a couple of drill songs.

Since the #98s team came through in the wake of Unknown T’s rise to power, they’ve used their collective strength to make individual stars of each member. Where Should I Start? follows full-length breakthroughs from Unknown T, V9, and KO, and judging by early reactions, this project has everything needed to bring Jimmy just as much success.

Features-wise, the East London native sticks mostly to his core team, with Unknown T, HitMan, Billy Billions, K.O and AlChubbino featuring on “Prevail”, while V9 joins Smokes on “Scary”. The only features from outside their circle come from Potter Payper on “Regina” and a surprise contribution from singer-songwriter Humble The Great on “Fade Out”.

Justin thomas announces split from caddie jim 'bones' mackay, who will loop at masters, share this article.

Justin Thomas will have a new caddie next week at the Masters.

He announced Wednesday on social media he was splitting with Jim “Bones” Mackay , calling the decision “incredibly difficult for me to say.” Mackay joined Thomas’ bag in late 2021, and the duo won the 2022 PGA Championship together.

Mackay was the longtime looper for Phil Mickelson before the duo split in 2017. Then, Mackay went to work full-time for NBC Sports and Golf Channel doing commentary. He was the fill-in lead analyst for NBC during the PGA Tour stop in Mexico. At the time, he said he wasn’t interested in the full-time job, replacing Paul Azinger.

“I’m going to be forever thankful for him joining me on the bag in 2021,” Thomas wrote in a post on social media. “His wisdom on and off the course has been a blessing during a tough stretch of my career and he was there every step of the way.”

As for who will take over for Thomas full-time, the two-time major champion, we won’t have to wait long to find out. He’s in the field next week for the first men’s major championship of the year, the Masters.

Golf Channel’s Todd Lewis reported it will be Matt Minister on the back for Thomas at Augusta National. Minister caddied for Patrick Cantlay when he wont he 2021 Tour Championship.

Thomas worked with Jimmy Johnson since Thomas started out as a rookie in 2015 before Mackay took over the bag. Mackay caddied for Thomas when he won the 2020 WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational before he was full-time on Thomas’ bag.

Jimmy Barnes announces NZ tour months after open-heart surgery: ‘I am ready to rock’

Jimmy Barnes has announced his long-awaited return to the stage in New Zealand for the first time since his heart surgery last year.

Following a sold-out string of shows in his home country Australia , the rock star is bringing his Hell of a Time tour to New Zealand for four shows in July this year, just months after he was admitted to hospital with bacterial pneumonia.

While in hospital, he became very unwell and soon needed surgery for an abscess, which left him with endocarditis. He underwent surgery to replace the aortic valve in his heart on December 13 and has continued to update fans on his recovery via social media.

Now, he’s been given the all-clear by doctors to get back on the road, and Barnes says “I’m excited about getting back on stage, in front of the band and playing for my Kiwi mates.”

And he has a special message of thanks for his New Zealand fans, saying, “The family were passing on your messages of care and it really lifted my spirits.”

Barnes will take to the stage in New Plymouth, Christchurch, Auckland and Wellington this winter, following an Easter Sunday show in Byron Bay to mark 30 years since the release of his album Flesh and Wood .

His New Zealand tour marks that milestone, and will feature performances of some of his biggest hits, from The Weigh t to You Can’t Make Love Without a Soul and It Will Be Alright .

“The Hell of a Time Tour is shaping up to be something special,” Barnes says. “It’s going to be intimate and it’s going to be a lot of fun. I’m going to play a bunch of my favourite tunes – and when songs are this good it’s great to strip them back to the bare bones and really tell the stories. We think it’s going to feel like you guys are sitting in our lounge room. I know you’ll love it.”

Following his recovery, Barnes declares, “I am ready to rock.

“I’ve been in my gym every day, sometimes twice a day, and I feel fitter and stronger with each passing day. My band are chomping at the bit and just like me, they can’t wait to hit the stage.”
