Jasmia, Nature's Chosen TCG

Jasmia, Nature's Chosen, a worgen druid.

Each race has a distinct model for its bear and cat forms, and there are five different textures for each model. These textures correspond to the skin tone of Tauren druids, or the hair color of the other races. Druids can change their design at any time by visiting a barbershop and choosing a new skin tone or hair color as appropriate for their race. Since there are more hair colors and skin tones than unique textures, some colors and tones will produce the same designs. The hair and skin colors chosen will, in most cases, correspond to the colors seen in the design of each form. Similar colors that share a particular cat texture will not necessarily share the same bear texture.

The ultimate guide to collecting new Druid shapeshift forms in WoW

druid travel form classic

Druids in World of Warcraft are all about shapeshifting. For Feral and Guardian Druids, shapeshift forms are practically is their appearance, and takes the place of tramsmog and unique armor appearances. In patch 10.2, WoW  introduced a number of new appearance options for Druids , but some forms have a variety of shapeshift options that were already available in game — but just like transmog, you need to unlock them in order to use them.

You’ll unlock the basic ability to shapeshift while leveling up, providing a default appearance specific to your race — sorry, you cannot learn other races’ appearances. But there are lots of appearances you can learn through questing, achievements, or inscription glyphs (which you can craft or buy). And once you unlock these, they’re unlocked account wide for all of your Druids.

Swapping appearances once you unlock them is simple: just head to the barbershop rather than the transmog vendor. You’ll find them in capital cities, where you’ll be able to customize each of the default appearances as well as selecting alternate forms.

Ready to get started? Druids trying to expand their wardrobe, this is a list of all the legacy shapeshift forms we know about, as well as how you can collect them.

WoW Guardian Druid bear forms

A full guide for how to unlock this form can be found here .

Random cat: The last option is the Glyph of the Feral Chameleon which causes you to appear in a random skin based on the cat forms you have unlocked. This appearance is learned from an inscription glyph.

WoW Balance Druid Moonkin forms

Historically Moonkin have only had access to a single skin that is determined by the character’s humanoid race. Using the talent Incarnation: Chosen of Elune gives a temporary armored version of the Moonkin form for the duration of the buff.

The only alternative appearance option was the Glyph of Stars , crafted by scribes. This glyph causes the Druid to appear in an astral version of their humanoid form when they shift into “Moonkin” form. If you have previously used this glyph and wish to access the new Moonkin appearances, you will need to use Vanishing Powder to remove the glyph from the spell in your powers book.

In patch 10.2 Guardians of the Dream, Moonkin form got a total overhaul with an appearance builder similar to the dragonriding mounts. Most of the options are automatically unlocked giving a truly dizzying number of variations possible, but with a couple of elements locked behind a raid boss kill.

  • Feather of the Smoke Red Moon — a chance to drop from Tindral Sageswift, Seer of the Flame in the Amirdrassil raid

Random moonkin: The last option is the Glyph of the Lunar Chameleon which causes you to appear in a random skin based on the moonkin forms you have unlocked. This appearance is learned from an inscription glyph.

Restoration Druids have the choice of using the Tome of the Wilds: Treant Form , which will replace the Ancient of War form when casting Incarnation: Tree of Life — note that it is very important to know that there is no way currently in game to remove this change once learned.

  • In The Scorched Hall , fish up 10 Awakening Sunfish from one of the lava pools in Volcoross’s room.
  • In the Wellspring Atrium , fish up 10 Slumbering Moonfish from one of the pools, testing suggests you can use any pool in the atrium.
  • Still in the Wellspring Atrium and toss all 10 Moonfish and 10 Sunfish into the largest pool in the Atrium, you will now get the buff Attuned Angler which will last for 30 minutes.
  • You should now see a Prismatic Whiskerfish fishing school in the largest pool in the Atrium. Fish until you catch Xena, the Whimsical Whiskerfish . If you fail to catch her before you lose the Attuned Angler buff you will need to repeat the first three steps to get it again.
  • Once you have caught Xena, release her back into the waters of the Wellspring Atrium at the same location as the pool where you fished her up. She will reward you with the Scale of the Prismatic Whiskerfish . Use the item from your bag to unlock the new form.

Random Aquatic form: The last option is the Glyph of the Aquatic Chameleon which causes you to appear in a random skin based on the aquatic forms you have unlocked. This appearance is learned from an inscription glyph.

Spec Options

Balance allows you to level as a caster, focusing on using your nature and arcane damage spells to kill enemies. Balance is slower than Feral, but the gearing will allow you to easily heal dungeons while leveling, which can be better in a group.

Druids can also level as Restoration, but it is by far the worst option, if you plan to level alone. In groups Restoration will do quite well, but you do not need the Restoration talents to heal; Balance will serve you better while allowing you to also quest and do damage when needed.

Weapons and Quests for Leveling Druids in WoW Classic

To guide you in your weapon upgrades and the class-specific quests you can do while leveling up, we have two guides that you might find useful.

Leveling in a Group as a Druid

Contrary to popular belief, leveling in a group can be extremely efficient, even better than solo leveling in some cases. While Druids are one of the faster solo leveling classes, they also perform very well with a partner or with a group. Druids in duos typically will level faster than playing solo, as Druids are exceptional at supporting other DPS. Druids do very well when paired with high DPS classes like Warriors or Warlocks. Druids also can level through dungeons, and are able to tank and heal dungeons quite well.

Leveling Strategy as a Druid

Moonfire Icon

Basic Leveling Strategy

Claw Icon

  • If you plan to do dungeons at all, keep a set of Intellect/Spirit gear in your bags. With some good pieces, you can heal through most dungeons while still having Feral talents, which could help you get into a dungeon group, since healers are harder to come by while leveling.

Swipe Icon

Professions While Leveling

If your goal is to hit Level 60 as fast as possible, it is not recommended to pick up professions while leveling. However, some professions are very useful for either leveling or at Level 60, and can be worth the time investment while leveling. First Aid is a must have profession at max level due to the no Mana cost healing it provides, and learning it early on can be useful while leveling. Herbalism, Mining, and Skinning all are great choices for making gold towards your first mount, and can also be useful for helping to level other important professions later on, such as taking Mining to help level Engineering.

If you are going Restoration at Level 60, it might be advisable to take professions that you can level without needing to kill enemies, such as Herbalism and Alchemy.

  • This form can only be used outdoors .
  • This form changes the druid into a stag if in land-restricted areas, a very fast bird in flying-enabled areas, and a seal in the water (which is immensely useful in Vashj'ir ).

druid travel form classic

  • Your caster form will start regaining mana 5 seconds after you change to Travel Form.
  • Unlike a mount , which players cannot use while in combat, a druid is able to shift into travel form while fighting either a mob or another player if they choose to.
  • Travel Form is instantly cast, making it even better for those sticky situations. With Travel Form, druids are able to escape from nearly any fight or simply put distance between themselves and their attackers practically whenever they wish.
  • As with any form, you may harvest herbs through herbalism , and skin dead beasts through skinning . This makes it an excellent way to achieve the fastest results with a gathering profession.
  • The ground based travel form increases your speed by 100% when activated out of combat, and 40% when in combat or when in an arena or battleground. Previously it always increased speed by just 40%. Which speed you get depends on your combat status when you shapeshift.

Tips and tactics

  • This form is instant cast, so it can be used to beat a strategic retreat if a fight is going badly. However when used in combat you'll be considered land-restricted, even in flying-enabled zones, and so must wait until you're out of combat to use the flying form.
  • The travel form does not stack with speed enchants or speed gems, with the exception of the level 60 and 70 Feral PvP 4 piece set bonus.

  • Speculation

It was widely speculated that a stag model was intended to be implemented from day one but changed before release, explaining the odd hoof-shaped icon, and the fact that while the other forms had unique skins, this form looked identical to cheetahs in the game.

Druid travel form?

Hi guys. I have a level 42 druid on classic. I have travel form which gives 40 percent bonus. Does travel form ever increase from this amount and reach 60 percent (level 40 mount training bonus) or 100 percent (level 60 mount training bonus)

Nope, it doesnt benefit from mount training

WoW Classic Druid Macros

Druid Macros

  • Author: Pippina
  • Date: September 30, 2019
  • Updated: December 10, 2020
  • Expansion: WoW Classic

I never used macros back in the original game, but I kept hearing about how useful they were. So this time around I learned what can be done with macros, and wrote a bunch to replace most of my spells in game.

Shapeshifting / Powershifting / Mounting

Dire bear form.

This macro is written for Dire Bear Form because I’m level 44 right now. I had to change the wording in the macro once I learned Dire Bear. This same macro works for regular Bear Form, but you gotta change the wording up. Just delete the word ‘dire’ from the macro and make it say  /cast bear form  if you don’t have the dire bear skill yet.

The macro shifts directly to Dire Bear form. Automatically dismount, cancel current form, cancel any Blessing of Salvation, stop casting, go directly to bear form. It cancels Blessing of Salvation because this aura reduces your threat. Sometimes you might be doing a DPS role with Salvation and have to suddenly take over for a dead tank, so this automatically drops the Salvation buff in the process without needing to think about it.

I also added /stand to the macro so I can go directly to bear from while sitting. Whenever I want to signal to my healer and casters to sit down and drink, I drop form and sit and wait. Once it’s time to go, I go back into bear form. Now I can directly shift to bear form while sitting down.

Since this can go directly from Bear Form > Bear Form, pressing this macro while in Bear Form is a quick power shift for extra rage.

Note:  It appears that dismounting trips a shape shifting cooldown, so it cannot go directly from being mounted to bear form. But you can double tap this macro and go from mounted > dismounted > bear form.

Shift directly to Cat Form. Automatically dismount, cancel current form, stop casting, go directly to Cat form. Since this macro allows you to go directly from Cat > Cat, pressing this macro in cat form lets you power shift for extra energy. Unlike the bear form macro, this one won’t cancel Blessing of Salvation because that’s a helpful buff to have as DPS. I also added /stand so I can go directly into cat form while sitting.

Note:  It appears that dismounting trips a shape shifting cooldown, so it cannot go directly from being mounted to cat form. But you can double tap this macro and go from mounted > dismounted > cat form.

Aquatic Form

Shift directly to Aquatic form. Automatically dismount, cancel current form, stop casting, go directly to Sea Lion. Yes, if you’re in the water the game should have automatically kicked you off your mount anyway, but I include /dismount anyway just in case something is lagging. No harm in /dismount being there even if you’re already dismounted.

Travel Form

Directly shift to travel form. Unlike Cat/Bear/Water forms, pressing this while inside travel form cancels travel form. There is no reason to power shift from travel > travel, so this macro lets you go directly to travel form from any form, and also lets you cancel travel form while inside. I also added /stand so I can cast travel form directly from sitting.

Note:  It appears that dismounting trips the global cooldown, so it cannot go directly from being mounted to travel form. But you can double tap this macro and go from mounted > dismounted > travel form.

Mount Macro

The game doesn’t allow you to mount up from within a form. You have to go through the extra step to exit form and then mount. Which is fine, but it adds time and sometimes you just gotta mount  NOW  because fractions of a second could be the difference between avoiding a gank and getting your corpse teabagged. So I wrote this macro to make a single-button-press affair to mount up from any form. Nice thing is that unlike dismounting > entering a form, cancelling your form does not trigger any global cooldown so this does not require a double tap. Just a single key press and your mount summon begins immediately, regardless of current form. I also added /stand so I can summon my mount directly while sitting.

Note that this relies on my mount being in a specific slot in a specific bag. In my case, I keep my mount in the bag all the way to the left (Bag #4) and it’s in slot # 9 within that bag. For visual reference that is here in my 12 slot bag:

WoW Classic Inventory

You’re gonna need to experiment and tailor this macro to your specific bag layout and where you keep your mount.

Cancel Form

Combination drop form and dismount button. Sometimes you just wanna go back to normal form so you can speak to NPCs or whatever.

Prowl Go directly to stealth. Or if you’re already If you’re already in stealth then pressing this button exits stealth and leaves you in cat form. If you’re in cat form, it simply enters stealth without powershifting you back into cat and wasting mana. If you’re not in cat form, it automatically enters cat form and drops you into stealth. If you’re in a different form, it automatically drops that form, enters cat form, and enters stealth. If you’re casting, it stops your cast and immediately drops your ass into cat form and then stealth with a single key press. If you’re mounted and need to jump off your mount and hide your ass, it drops you from your mount, enters cat form, and enters stealth.

Note:  Apparently dismounting triggers the shapeshifting cooldown, so you can’t go directly from mounted > dismounted > cat form > stealthed. So when using this from on a mount you gotta double tap. Be extra aware of this delay because if you wait too long to double tap this to go from mounted > dismounted > stealthed then you may end up remaining visible for a second long than you expected. This results in accidentally pulling mobs you wanted to stealth behind, getting caught by opposing players, etc… so be ware of this cooldown and plan for it.

Target Icons

Assign an icon over the head of the target. Assign these macros to the keyboard somewhere and press a key instead of right-clicking the target’s unit frame and going through menus to find the icon you want. I have these bound to keys 0-8 on my keypad and it’s extremely quick to assign and clear target icons on the fly. Note that these use the /run command, which the game client will warn you about. The /run command can be used for some advanced stuff, so you don’t want to use /run commands that you don’t understand. Just click the ‘accept’ button and the game won’t bother you again.

Update:  Apparently there are direct keybinds for these icons. I did not know they were there. There is no need for these to exist as macros by themselves, just assign a keybind directly to them through the keybind > target markers menu. I will leave these here however because for future reference because there could be a use case where you want to bind a target marker to a spell cast.

Star / Golden Star of Healing

I put this on my healer so I can see them while tanking. Makes it immediately obvious who is my healer with just a glance over my shoulder to make sure they’re staying clean. It also lets me see them through walls since you can see the icons through walls up to a certain distance. Another benefit is since I typically run with a small group of people who are all familiar with each other, I can change the healer on the fly. Sometimes our healer goes AFK for a minute and I can just toss the Star of Healing onto the backup healer in the group and we can keep pulling while the group’s healer is AFK. Once he’s back, quick press of the keyboard and he gets the star back and everybody knows what’s going on without having to say anything. Keeps the dungeon machine oiled.

Orange Circle / Condom of Tanking Protection

While it’s obvious that the loud roaring 1200lb bear is the tank in a 5 man group, I still put the orange condom of protection over my head anyway. Main reason for this is these icons are visible through walls. I can disappear around a corner, tag a mob, and come back for LOS pulls and the group can see where I am through walls. Another small thing to keep the dungeon machine well oiled.

Pink Diamond

Green triangle.

For the love of god focus DPS on this so we don’t have 3 DPS attacking 3 different targets. Mouth breathing DPS no longer have an excuse for pulling agro by attacking the wrong thing.

Clear Icon from Target

Offensive macros, faerie fire.

Faerie Fire and Feral Faerie Fire are separate spells. Yes, if you put this button on the primary button bar then you can put the right version of the spell on that bar for each form and it’ll just work. However, most of the key bars don’t change based on form. Using this macro instead of the direct spell allows you to put it onto a fixed bar. Cool thing is that by leaving #showtooltip without any spell afterwards, the macro is smart enough to display the tooltip of the spell it would cast based on your form. So you can even see the details of the version you’re about to use if you want.

This also allows you to cast Faerie Fire while you are in aquatic form, Travel Form, or are mounted. You can’t actually cast this spell from within these forms, but sometimes you wanna tag something  NOW  and you don’t want to lose time manually shifting out of these forms and then casting. Since /cancelform does not trigger a global cooldown, this macro is a single-press way to drop a faerie fire on the head of something while in these forms. The /dismount command does trip some kind of cooldown, but for some reason doesn’t share a cooldown with Faerie Fire so you can use this to drop a Faerie Fire on a target while you’re on a mount with a single keystroke. It’ll knock you off your mount, but you still get surgical strikes with your ranged pull.

Attack Macros

Nothing too special here. This is an example for my Swipe macro, but this can be applied to any offensive attack. I bound /startattack to my swipe button so it’ll at least begin auto attacking even if I don’t have enough rage to swipe. Simple, but some people don’t know about this so I’m including this. I use the same thing for Bash, Shred, Swipe, Rake, etc… just create a new macro for each one and replace ‘swipe’ with the name of the attack.

Support Spells

I spend most of my time tanking so I spend most of my time in bear form. Innervate has been a fantastic spell both in emergencies when the healer is OOM and we’re about to die, and when running a melee heavy group and the one caster in the group is low on mana and I don’t want to wait for him to drink. I’ve had two problems with it though – People sometimes don’t realize that I gave them innervate cuz they’re not paying attention, and I can’t cast it from bear form. This macro allows me to cast it immediately from within form, and it also sends a whisper to the target telling them they got Innervate and explains what that means.

These are what I got so far. I haven’t done anything with balance spells or healing macros. There’s a lot of potential there but I haven’t explored it yet. My focus has been on tanking and these are what I use on a daily basis. Hope these help soomebody. Like with all things coding and script related, there are going to be a lot of different ways of accomplishing any given macro. So these are just the ones I came up with, there are probably others out there that do the same thing differently. Great thing about the macro language in game is it pretty much allows you to set up your abilities however you want.

About the Author

druid travel form classic

Actually this also works: /use Great White Kodo

Or whatever weird mounts you alliance people use 😛

Trust me lad, I wish I could ride my own kodo. Especially once Pippina gets to level 40+. I’ve spent all my time levelling a druid instead of my gnome warrior, but nevermind Thunderfury, the item I wish my gnome could get and use is a Kodo mount 😆

I don’t know why this wasn’t working for me the first time, but I eventually did get the /use [name of mount] to work. I need to update some of these macros as I’ve had time to fine tune them now.

I’ve added /train to my feral charge macro. This is my favorite macro now because it irritates everybody in my party and they can’t do anything about it. Nothing better than hearing the female night elf /train sound coming from the 1200lb bear every time it charges. Just a little choochoo bear flying around mauling people, lol. I feel like gnome fury warriors need to add this to their intercept macros too.

Forsakenone

Awesome stuff Pips, thx!

TracePreserver

Excellent compilation. I like the formatting and explanations.

I wrote some similar macros myself, but did not use /stopcasting, which will be a nice addition. Thanks. 🙂

Powershifting travel > travel can be useful if you are running away from someone with snares or slows.

rijndael

This will come in handy for my Druid alt.

teebling

Sick, adding this to the sticky.

Something I noticed yesterday while looking closer at the /dismount mechanic is that dismounting seems to trip a separate shapeshift cooldown. I originally thought it was triggering the global cooldown, but since I am able to cast faerie fire on the same keystroke as dismount it’s not hitting the global. This means we need to double tape macros going directly from a mount to a form, but not when dismounting directly to a spellcast. I am going to experiment with this later, but I think this means we can probably also write macros to do things like cast renew directly from a dismount with a single keystroke. Sick, adding this to the sticky.

Thanks m8 – in that case guess I’ll clean up my formatting and add some more detail. I wrote this while looking for groups yesterday. Powershifting travel > travel can be useful if you are running away from someone with snares or slows.

That’s actually a really good point. Thinking back on it, there have been plenty of times where I’m double tapping my travel form button to break snares. I think I’m going to re-write my travel form macro to powershift travel > travel afterall. I do have a dedicated button on my keyboard to cancel form anyway, which also works with travel form. I’ll update my post and add this as an alternative travel form macro soon.

Rinkusan

If I may add two of mine 🙂 #showtooltip /cancelform [noform] /cast [noform] Cat Form /cast Dash

#showtooltip /cleartarget /tar <Insert Target> Clear any targets and target desired Unit. /stopmacro [dead] We only want anything more to happen if the target is alive. /cancelform [exists] If an alive target exists, we want to cancel form. /cast Moonfire(Rank 1) Obvious 🙂 I use Rank 1 because we only want to tag, and Rank 1 uses the least possible amount of mana. /script SetRaidTarget(“target”, 8) I mark my Target with a skull. /script if UnitExists(“target”) then PlaySoundFile(“SoundInterfaceRaidWarning.ogg”,”Master”) else end Completely unnecessary, but as an auditive help, in case I was just tapping while watching my second screen, this tells me I have a target 🙂

Also, adding the [noform] conditionals to your shapeshifting macros will prevent you from shifting out of the form that you are in. For example, my Cat Form looks like this: #showtooltip /cancelform [noform] /cast [noform] Cat Form

/cleartarget /target Lord /script if UnitExists(“target”) then SetRaidTarget(“target”, 8); PlaySoundFile(“sound/interface/raidwarning.ogg”,”Master”); SendChatMessage(“Target %t aquired!”,”PARTY”,”common”,”party”) else end

I just added a macro for Innervate to the original post. I just picked it up a few days ago and it’s been a lot of fun. The macro drops form, whispers the target and tells him he’s been innervated and quickly explains the regen rates, and then casts innervate. Much easier to cast while tanking then manually shifting out, casting, then shifting back in.

I also added /stand to my shapeshift macros because I like to sit down to signal to my group that it’s mana break time. Now I can lazily go directly to whatever form while sitting.

Rinkusan m8 that drop form spam moonfire macro is legit. I missed it the first time I saw your post. I haven’t tried it yet but I can see using that while running around in travel form. I’m gonna load it up later tonight and start using it.

cigarettes

Great stuff!

How necessary do you think these macros are?

They obviously provide a big QoL boost, but do you think this provides a significant advantage, let’s say in a PvP setting, for a druid who is using them vs not using them?

An example cigarettes 🙂 I’ve been ganked alot by rogues or other druids while fishing, here’s how to react properly from within your normal bear form macro 🙂 #showtooltip /dismount /stopcasting /cancelform [noform] /use [worn:Insignia of the Horde][combat] Insignia of the Horde /cast [noform] Dire Bear Form

The second to last line is where the change is made. Many PvP specced Rogues can stunlock you to death, even if you are a tank, because they don’t give you the time to switch Forms. This Macro checks whether or not you have your Insignia equipped. If not, it will try to turn into bear form and function like usual. If you do have your Insignia equipped, but you are not in combat, it will just turn you into bear form too, just like usual. But if you meet both conditionals of having your insignia equipped AND being in combat, it will use the Insignia right before trying to go into bear form, hence relieving you from your stunlock and making it extremely hard for a rogue to kill you. Most Rogues know that they have little chance of killing a bear, so they might even bugger off 😀

Downside of this Macro is that you need to replace it when not “fishing” or whatever it is you do, because you dont want to waste the Insignia activation on a random transform when you are in combat. Unfortunately there is no [stunned] conditional 😀

These are amazing, thanks for posting!

Druid 1 Button Mount/Travel Forms Macro

I had a really nice 1 button mount/fly/travel/aquatic macro I was using but for some reason it didn’t work in Dalaran (wouldn’t identify that I couldn’t fly and give me my ground mount). I found a few scripts online that I combined and got to work, see below:

/script local m=GetZoneText() if (m==“Dalaran”) and (GetSubZoneText()~=“Krasus’ Landing”) then CallCompanion(“MOUNT”, 1);end /cast [swimming] Aquatic Form; [nocombat, harm] Travel Form; [combat] Travel Form; [flyable] Flight Form; Great Gray Kodo

Replace Great Gray Kodo with your ground mount.

This macro will using aquatic form when in water, use travel (cheetah) form while in combat, fly form when you can fly, and ground mount when you can’t fly. It will also identify when you are in Dal and use your ground mount.

Figured I’d share this since it took me forever to figure this out.

This is amazing, thank you.

There’s an addon that does that as well called MountJournal if anyone is interested in that method.

Nice macro! I’m getting LUA error when using it though.

awsome stuff! owl noises i throw in a cat form line too for when youre in a building and wanna kitty sprint on a second button [nooutdoors] Cat Form;

This macro does nothing at all for me, standing in dalaran trying it…

The macro below works perfectly (it is not for mounts) and it works EVERYWHERE except for dalaran main center (the macro does work on krasus landing)

#showtooltip /cancelform [swimming,noform:2][outdoors,noform:2/4/5] /cast [swimming,noform:2] Aquatic Form;[flyable,nocombat,noform:5]swift flight form;[outdoors,noform:2/4/5] Travel Form

I would like this modified to work in dalaran main

I normally have my travel forms on a single button and keep my riding mount on a unique button. Since most script actions are blocked for changing forms, my “hack” for Dalaran is the same as above:

# showtooltip /run if (GetZoneText() == “Dalaran”) and (GetSubZoneText() ~= “Krasus’ Landing”) then CallCompanion(“MOUNT”, 3); end; /use [swimming]Aquatic Form; [flyable, nocombat]Flight Form; [] Travel Form

If you get errors copying-and-pasting, it could be that your operating system is swapping the double quotes (") with fancy operating specific quotes. They look very similar but they break the macro. If all else fails, type the above manually.

Again, this version “usually” requires me to use my ground mount unique from my druid forms but in Dalaran, specifically, I’m injecting the above hack so my travel form button doesn’t error and does “something”.

I installed MountJournal and I do not see a way for it to use Flight Form when possible and ground mount when flight is not allowed, all with one button press. Any tips?

Dalaran (inside the walls) is flagged as a flyable zone even though you cannot fly there. This causes the [noflyable] conditional to fail it’s check. Pretty sure this is a bug specific to classic. I don’t remember it being like this in original. Macro works correctly in the sewers which is correctly flagged as noflyable.

I use a sperate button for mounting. I would prefer to use a script to check for that zone and switch to travel, but the spell casting functions are protected and cannot be used in scripts.

My travel macro is: /dismount [mounted] /cast [swimming] Aquatic Form; [indoors] Dire Bear Form; [flyable,nocombat] Swift Flight Form; [] travel form;

Swimming - Aquatic Inside - Bear Flyable/Out of combat - Bird Default if none of those other conditions are met (in a flyable zone in combat, in a noflyable place like a BG/arena/vanilla zone) - Travel

Correct, old Dalaran was noflyable to prevent flying. In classic they did something different, but it remains “flyable” so macros that should work, don’t. Even though they work perfectly fine everywhere else.
