• Summary : Autobots hated discussing graphic torture or the nuances of plague spreads. Neutrals were worse. Thank goodness there were some Decepticons around for Megatron to talk to.

• Summary : For every scenario, there's more than one outcome. Arcee did not escape MECH as quickly, meaning June doesn't survive her encounter with Airachnid. Silas, after seeing a spark firsthand, implements a new approach to Project CHIMERA, and through MECH, Jack is changed in ways no one thought possible. The result? War between the Autobots and Decepticons will never be the same.
• Comments : A very well written AU that explores Jack's psyche while he deals with the trauma of losing his mother and being stripped of his humanity.
• Synopsis : 'A strange energon reading gets the attention of Decepticons and Autobots alike, the ensuing battle sets it off, with disastrous consequences for all. What do you hold onto when all hope is lost? How do you see, when all light is gone? Probably AU. Non-slash/non-pairing.'
• Comments : A very good character focused fic that shows how bots would handle depression when it's not a natural thing for Cybertronians. Focuses on Bumblebee, Smokescreen, Knockout and Soundwave, and it does and amazing job at it.
• Status : Ongoing
• Summary : A very well-written collection of stories set in an AU heavily based on the Aligned continuity.
• Summary : Knock Out and Breakdown decide to watch horror movies for Halloween in their shared quarters. But Knock Out's appreciation of Cybertronian anatomy is called into question when he's repulsed by the gore in their selected movie. Gentle ribbing from Breakdown ensues.

• Synopsis : A Self-Insert in which the Author finds himself turned into a Transformer. Problem is, He's in the Aligned Continuity , He's on Cybertron, and the closest living being is Shockwave , who's still wounded from a recent run-in with Arcee and Cliffjumper . And to make matters worse, he's stuck in the chassis of a Vehicon . On the bright side, at least he's a flying type , and he seems to have a Fourth-Wall Mail Slot through the fic itself to the other members of the Spacebattles Forums.

Captured and separated from his unit he plays a dangerous mind game with a shadowy Decepticon rumored to rival Megatron in ambition and cruelty.
• Summary : In search of a relic, Megatron and Soundwave find themselves trapped in the midst of a fierce Siberian blizzard, trying desperately to stay awake.

• Summary : They said that the aliens hadn’t hit Roswell. They said that the aliens had hit Jasper.(There's something different about Jasper, and Jack Darby ends up right in the middle of it).
• Summary : Optimus Prime had not spoken since the last of the Autobot and Decepticon forces had been overtaken by the monstrous, alienated creatures he would come to refer to as their captors. Not since he and Megatron, the last living beings of the Cybertronian race, were taken deep into the catacombs of a planet lightyears from Earth to endure the rest of their lives as prisoners. Optimus Prime had not spoken since the first time he’d been taken to the experimentation ward. Not to anyone, but Megatron. That was before now. They hadn’t expected to escape the catacombs. Nor had they expected the arrival of their harshest punishment yet: to learn to live with it.

• Summary : Someone needed a nanite specialist. Someone kidnapped the best.
• Comments : One of the earliest Prime stories, a fantastic character piece focusing on Rafael and Soundwave.
• Summary : “ There’s no such thing as spirits,” Ratchet declared – finality in his tone, before going back to the computer. Eventually, the children resumed their mindless conversation, their laughter echoing not far behind. The discussion laid dormant in the back of his mind for days, nearly forgotten if it wasn’t for the fact that his things started to go missing.

• Synopsis : 'The Autobots are forced to come to grips with the foulest aspects of human nature as a darkness from Miko's past threatens to reclaim her and destroy the other humans in the process. NOT slash, some physical violence and references to past bad things.'
• Comments : Awesome story that deals intelligently and compassionately with a very touchy subject. There are technical errors here and their, but the basic writing is fantastic and technical errors are easily ignored. The author does a very good job making Miko seem a Broken Bird here. We feel sorry for her, but at the same time it doesn't feel forced, like we're just going through the motions of tragedy.
• Summary : Ratchet has loved Optimus for a long, long time. When his feelings weren't reciprocated, he understood, but that didn't make it hurt any less. Time goes on, the hopeless medic fawning over his leader, until a new player comes into the mix. Perhaps it's the push they need.
• Summary : Team Prime helps the kids carve pumpkins for Halloween! The kids explain Halloween to them, and it reminds them of a holiday they used to celebrate back on Cybertron. Features team bonding, elaborate pumpkin art, and some self-indulgent Cybertronian worldbuilding.
• Summary : Orion Pax episodes from Megatron's POV, au from end of events of Pt 3 .
• Summary : Things are changing aboard the Nemesis. Well, at least for a certain Predacon. Predaking is discovering more about himself and what he wants, so when driven from the Nemesis, he goes on a joyride, and finds out he is more than meets the eye.
• Summary : When a mysterious Decepticon surrenders to the human military he is handed over to the Autobots. There is no doubt that the quiet mech carries as many secrets as he does scars. What happens to Cybertronians who dare defy Megatron?
• Comments : Another stellar masterpiece from a talented authoress. Though it features an OC, Driver is very well crafted and fits completely into the Prime universe without overshadowing any of the canon characters.
• Summary : “Horror movies,” muttered Starscream, into the velvety silence of his quarters. “Of all the appalling wastes of processing cycles—” Soundwave's "side project" is the preservation of Cybertronian culture...up to and including low-budget horror movies. Starscream is decidedly skeptical.
• Summary : “Well,” she started softly, “He wasn’t doing so good, Ratchet. I think- I think he really missed you.” In which Ratchet gets kidnapped and Optimus bottles up his feelings, all while being stalked by June Darby.
• Summary : “Humans are afraid of everything," Knock Out said. "The familiar, the unfamiliar, all kinds of bizarre invented monsters, other humans, dead humans, alien invasion—well, maybe that last one isn’t so irrational.” He and Starscream smirked at each other. Watching from the bridge, Soundwave’s visor flickered.

• Synopsis : Knock Out wanted to give his old partner another chance. If only he felt (he first came to realize when he was already looking over Autobot Outpost Omega One and the glares of its inhabitants) more confident that this was what Breakdown would have wanted. AU after S2 Episode: Crossfire. In which Knock Out tries his best to listen, Breakdown tries to enjoy neutrality, Bulkhead tries his best to adjust, Dreadwing tries to be the officer the vehicons deserve, a vehicon with a grudge fills Knock Out's old role, the decepticons fall into chaos, the autobot base gets far too crowded, and a few forgotten enemies rear their ugly heads. Or: it’s all Brainstorm’s fault for encouraging this madness, but what else is new?
• Comments : Excellent characterization of most (if not all) the characters in TFP, and featuring a couple borrowed from other continuities (such as the Stunticons). Note: the story does feature pairings, but the focus is not on them.
• Summary : Bumblebee's voice box is malfunctioning again, and he joins Ratchet and Raf for a perfectly timed lesson on Cybertronian grammar.
• Status : In Progress
• Synopsis : "As you understand it, Earth is the first peace they've had in a long while. That's something you're willing to fight for." (Archive Of Our Own description.) Possibly the only platonic Reader Insert in this fandom, follows canon from S1 while diverging from time to time to explore the OC's character.
• Comments : Very well written, none of the characters are OOC and the SI's perspective is both funny and heartwarming.

• Summary : Optimus Prime has been reverted to Orion Pax and Megatron has brought him on board the Nemesis. Now Megatron just has to pretend that his actions were all part of some grand evil scheme and not a foolish impulsive mistake he made trying to get his friend back.
• Summary : It’s been a few months since the butchers at M.E.C.H. stole Breakdown’s eye, and Knock Out is still seething. An accident involving a clumsy Decepticon commander and a jar of synth-en may just push him over the edge.
• Summary : Predaking is curious of his species past, so he talks to a Predacon who's been around for a long time.
• Summary : Ratchet is such a dad, even getting sparked up can’t stop his systems from activating sire protocols.
• Synopsis : This is just an idea I got, tell me if you want me to continue! When Jack gets captured by the 'cons for information, the 'Bots learn just how loyal their human friend is. some father/son moments between Jack and Optimus.
• Comments : Well-written and handles its torture segments in a surprisingly tasteful manner. Enough is shown so that you cringe for Jack but not enough is shown to make anyone but the most weak-stomached person sick.
• Synopsis : A big rainstorm hits Jasper, so now everyone is stuck in base. Jack is, for some reason, scared to fall asleep, even though he's exhausted. Soon, the 'bots, Miko and Raf find out why. They knew Jack and June never talked about Jack's dad...now they know why. Suggestions of abuse, lots of angst, and NO, I don't like torturing Jack, just had to use the idea.
• Eh... the writing turned this troper off of the fic- this troper couldn't get through it.
• Summary : Optimus has plenty of time to observe Seeker heels...

• Summary : What would have happened if Bulkhead DID die? Wheeljack learns hard lessons about taking care of his new human friend, and maybe likes her spunk at times . . . But what happens when a plan for revenge is hatched? Getting tangled up with a femme and the importance of memories making you who you are. War stories, detonations, protoform sleepovers.
• Comments : A fantastic story that tells a what-if a character dies, which will send you on an emotional rollarcoaster. Whozawhatcha does a wonderful job at playing with your feelings and it never stops until the very end. A very Bittersweet Ending .

• Synopsis : The discovery of a new relic changes Arcee, causing her to see the world from a new perspective.
• Summary : Some pictures are worth a thousand words. Others are worth much more. In the depths of Kaon, Megatronus prepares for a battle and Orion Pax makes mischief. In Jasper, Nevada, Optimus Prime revisits old memories.
• Summary : "It didn't start out that way. He had been proud, ferocious, domineering... yet lonely. The first and last of his kind in eons. Yet now it was different. He'd known, somewhere in his spark, that fate had brought them together. A child banished his demons as he guarded her from hers. They were kin. As strange as it was, they were two creatures made to quell the other's loneliness."
• Summary : In which Ratchet is chosen to be the new Prime, and Orion is in a polyamorus relationship with both Megatron and Starscream.
• Summary : In Shattered Glass fics, everyone shows Evil 'Bots and Heroic 'Cons. But what if that reflection also applied to the humans? The story of three corrupted young humans allied with the corrupted and tyrannical Autobots.
• Summary : After the events of Transformers Prime, the human kids convince Knockout to race in NASCAR behind Ratchet's back. Recruiting a stranger to be the "driver", this begins their long journey to disguise Knockout as a simple stock car and win first place, but it's harder than it seems. Although discordant at first, they grow into a family. And that's when things fall apart.
• Summary : Running even lower on fuel than they were used to, the rest of the team heads out to see if they can locate any remaining energon deposits that hadn't already been scouted by the Decepticons. Meanwhile, Ratchet, running on fumes, manages comms for the mission and finds himself lost in thought at his operations console until the human children contact him for an after school portal to the base, feeling similarly more run down than usual. Eventually, Ratchet and the kids give in to their need for a nap.
• Comments : A really, really adorable one-shot that focuses on how Ratchet sees the kids.
• Summary : Starscream was left at the mercy of the Predacons. This time there was no escape. Will he allow death to consume him or will he accept another chance? One he is assured will be the last if he cannot fix his ways and help shape the world he will soon live in.
• Summary : Starscream tells Arcee and the Autobots WHY he killed Cliffjumper.
• Summary : Cybertron has been saved, and the reconstruction has begun. Autobots and Decepticons alike are flocking back home, ready to rebuild their restored planet. Optimus' dreams of redemption for all beings is finally coming true. With the war finally over, Ratchet and Optimus finally get to live their fantasy of having a family. Optimus didn't anticipate the target that would be put over Ratchet's head once he became sparked. A small band of Decepticons aren't satisfied with the way things played out. Seeking revenge and compensation, they take the sparked medic hostage, and the race begins. Optimus must juggle his Primely duties and searching for his medic while complying to the outrageous demands. His desperation is what leads him to Megatron.
• Summary : After crash landing on an alien planet, Sunstreaker must survive until someone stumbles across his distress beacon. At least he's not alone.

• Summary : Shattered Glass AU: "Airachnid, what is that?" "Starscream, I can explain!" When Airachnid returns to the Nemesis with a tag-along, life aboard the Decepticon ship changes.
• Summary : Raf feels betrayed when he discovers Optimus Prime and others have made secret plans for his own good. However, The Autobot leader must risk losing the young boy's friendship forever to save the entire human planet.
• Comments : Taking its cue from the fallout of "One Shall Fall," this story is written with a clear understanding of the characters. While it takes a bit before the plot starts moving, the pay off is more than worth it.
• Summary : When MECH tampers with the past in an attempt to gain an advantage over the future, the present is thrown wildly out of balance. The Autobots and the kids must find each other again before they are erased from existence entirely. Throw in some superstitious peasants, four warring tribes of Cybertronians, and a power-hungry magistrate, and you've got the makings of an adventure!
• Comments : A well written AU for Transformers Prime featuring not one, but TWO worlds created by MECH's tampering. Both are quite engaging and show tremendous talent for world-building.
• Summary : A collection of mostly unconnected stories where Transformers: Prime Starscream gets better treatment than the writing of the show gives him, with a particular emphasis on the abusive nature of his relationship with Megatron.
• Summary : The war is over. Optimus is dead. The Decepticons have renounced their cause. And, to make matters worse, Starscream is in the medbay again. In which Bumblebee mistakes a consensual BDSM-relationship for abuse, and tries to save a rather bewildered Seeker.

• Synopsis : Raf's overprotective older sister Mar ends up on an unplanned car ride to discover that she is not alone in the universe. Good news: some of these beings don't want to kill her or her brother. Bad news: most of them do.

• Status : Dormant; last updated December 2019
• Summary : The Omega Keys revive Cybertron, and the battlefront of the Autobot-Decepticon War moves back to the homeworld. Troops of both sides roaming the galaxy start to return, and the war goes on. But after eons and eons of seemingly meaningless battles over the devastated Cybertron and energon scraps everyone is feeling tired and bitter, and the will to fight is at all-time low. This is the perfect time to dig up some old traditions and laws and push the guilt and responsibility on the shoulders of those who started it all, thus allowing the rest to move on towards the dream of a peaceful future. But getting rid of the consequences and burdens of the past is a long, painful process, far from happy and even further from the end, and no scapegoat is strong enough to carry away all the grief, loss and grudge of a people with a history of such oppression and cruel war.
• Comments : A very good AU about the Autobots and the Decepticons's conflict on Cybertron as well as their own ways of trying to live together.

• Summary : Megatron was a gladiatorial slave, why would he condone any type of slavery? The Cybertron War is more than it appears, but neither side has any inkling to the other's point-of-view until the yellow scout Bumblebee gets bot-napped. An innocent mission to find energon mounts into more than either side can handle alone, they must unite or fall.
• Comments : This story is very well-written, with powerful HONF; not for the faint of heart. This troper was very impressed with good reason.
• Summary : Starscream has all four Omega Keys and, with them, the power to decide Cybertron’s fate. Now, he must pick a side.
• Summary : On Cybertron, before the war, Megatronus and Orion Pax go camping together. It's a learning experience.

• Summary : Post-Predacons Rising: It's finally time to start rebuilding Cybertron, and what better time to start healing the deep divisions left in their species by this terrible war? Unfortunately for the Autobots, most of the Vehicons are not especially interested in teaming up with them. Specifically, the one Vehicon who is in charge of organizing all the rest of them. It's up to Ultra Magnus to find a way to appease this 'Con and get them all working together peacefully... And also quietly investigate whether or not something more sinister is afoot.
• Comments : A very good fic from a talented author. Not only is there some fun to be had with Magnus' investigations but that combined with some excellent character development for Autobot and vehicon alike and a plot that keeps a reader on their toes with the looming question of "what's going on with the vehicons?" makes this a very hard fic to put down until you've ended up reading all of it in just one go.

• Summary : After Starscream's disastrous attempt to join the Autobots, he flees, only to be found by Optimus with the intent of bringing him back to base. Things go horribly wrong, though, and the two are imprisoned in a cave-in. Optimus asks Starscream to try again at joining the Autobots and to renounce his Decepticon ways, but Optimus learns from Starscream that the line between Autobots and Decepticons is blurrier than he thought, and that the Autobots are more similar to Decepticons than he'd like. Starscream and Optimus soon learn that there is much more to both of them than either one thought. Starscream makes a bold choice and betrays Megatron in a way he never has before. He joins the Autobots. And Megatron is not pleased.
• Comments : This fic began as a one-shot character study for Starscream and has since grown into a full-blown AU diverging from the end of the episode Partners . The author has a great way of seeding the narration with bits of personality and writes each character and their interactions with each other in an engaging manner. There is everything from humor to drama and heart-rending emotion in each chapter as the story expands and rewrites the show's events with new twists and sequences involving Starscream's presence and the author's spin on the show's setting and various characters' backstories, particularly Starscream's given he's the central character.

• Summary : Unable to wash himself after losing an arm, Starscream shows up unannounced in the eradicons' shower room looking for someone to bathe him after an accident...and things progress from there.

• Status : Dormant (last updated October 2017)
• Pairings : Megatron/June Darby, Miko/Bumblebee, Shockwave/Arcee, hints of others.
• Synopsis : Set just after the season 2 finale. Megatron captures June and have a chat with her, while William Fowler is retrieving two fallen autobots: Wheeljack and Optimus Prime; under Decepticons' very olfactory receptors. Will he make it in time? Is Optimus still alive? Will June survive her "chat" with Megatron? Alternate Timeline, ignores Beast Hunters.
• Comments : A great story, doesn't rush the romance and makes the rare/nonexistent pairings believable. Has some mature scenes, but nothing too graphic. The sequels really bring forth the romance and even addresses the complications of Human-Cybertronian relationships.
• Pairing : Megatron/Starscream
• Synopsis : The mighty Megatron returns after three years of absence, having failed to amass his fabled army. He proceeds to destroy the Decepticons' most fecund mine, experiment with Dark Energon, and knock up his Second in Command. Not necessarily in that order. Starscream, understandably, is pissed. DISCUSSION OF ABORTION.
• Pairing : Optimus/Megatron
• Summary : “We are gathered here to invest this mech with the powers and responsibilities of the Lord High Protector of Cybertron, the Chosen of the Chosen, the Prime’s Consort.”
• Pairing : OCs x Starscream, Megatron x Starscream
• Summary : When in writing, the past is never forgotten. And it just may shift the whole of the future. Starscream never intended that the many unsent letters he had written to his Bondmate ever be found...

• Pairing : Megatron x Optimus
• Summary : Starscream doesn't have to worry about offlining Megatron anymore, because clearly his infatuation with the Autobot leader will do it first.
• Pairing : Megatron/Starscream and others.
• Summary : How did Starscream become Megatron's second-in-command? What made them fall for each other?
• And here's a trope page.
• Summary : When peace talks end up going better than expected, Optimus Prime and Megatron allow their feelings to get a little out of hand. Miscommunications and assumptions galore.
• Pairing : Starscream/Knockout
• Summary : These feelings were dangerous. There was no telling what would happen, should Starscream imagine that Knockout was making an honest move toward him. Still, the opportunity, the chance for success, was too great to pass up.
• Comment : A great story which deepens the relationship between Starscream and Knockout behind the scenes during season 1 full with a lot of character development in.
• Pairing : Megatron/Soundwave, Megatron/Starscream
• Summary : Megatronus was outspoken, and full of dangerous ideas, ideas that only a mech with nothing to lose could afford to indulge in. And that was why Soundwave hated him.
• Comments : The story is focused on Transformers Prime characters's past, especially Pre-War Megatronus, Orion Pax and Soundwave. The story is very well written that you have the feeling it could have happened in an actual episode. Megatronus and Soundwave's is extremely well developed. The appearance of some characters from others continuities is also a good add.
• Pairing : Starscream/Megatron
• Summary : STARSCREAM IS the leader of the Decepticons. She's bold, energetic, persistent, and far from the type to let others tell her what to do. The only person who's ever gotten away with that was her archnemesis, Jetfire—a passionate ex-flame turned bitter rival, and warlord over the Autobots. MEGATRON IS Shockwave's pride and joy. He's the best of his rank among the Predacons, a race of cybernetically-engineered beings created from the fossils of ancient beasts designed to be the ultimate war machines. He's better, stronger, and smarter than all the rest, making him an invaluable mechanism of mass destruction. Now that Shockwave and his experiments are back on Cybertron's second moon, the well-kept hiding place of the Decepticons' main fortress, Starscream is faced with a predicament. Every one of Shockwave's predacons is a specimen to behold, mostly perfect in discipline and conduct, but one stands out from the rest—the apathetic, smug, and self-absorbed Megatron. Starscream isn't the type to let others tell her what to do. And Megatron isn't the type to take no for an answer.

• Summary : 'A fallen queen stripped of her crown...' Airachnid never was the 'motherly' type. But saddled with a sparkling, alone and starving, she accepts help from the intriguing Autobot leader himself. Little does she know just how close they are... or once where.
• Pairing : Megatron/Optimus
• Summary : Megatron is bitten by a distant relative. Optimus is an eldritch Disney princess.
• Pairing : Jack/Arcee
• Summary : A demonstration of spectacularly foolish bravery on Jack Darby's part causes both him and Arcee to realize just how precious their partner is to them, starting them off on a tumultuous relationship that tests, and strengths, the ties that bind.
• Comments : A well-written series focused not just on the believable romance, but on the engaging adventures (and oftentimes misadventures) of the Autobots and their human partners. The pairing may not be for everyone, but the read is very much worth it.
• Pairing : Megatron/Starscream Knockout/Starscream
• Summary : Starscream hates Megatron but has his own unique way of making up his several failures to him, just like Megatron hates Starscream but lets him make things up to him and also grants him rewards that no one else gets. Both are stuck in a spiral of nasty things that neither one is able to control any better than come out of them on the top. As the doctor of the Nemesis Knockout gets to see things no one else does, and so he finds himself in a difficult and extremely sensitive position between his fellow officer and their Lord. The war is taking a new turn and as Starscream has once again joined the Decepticon ranks, the wheel of misfortune is starting to turn again
• Comments : A very beautiful story displaying Hidden Depths about characters during season 3. The Decepticons are much more nuanced characters, especially Starscream's feelings about his twisted relationship with Megatron.
• Summary : Megatron and Starscream share quite a history. We've seen the result of it, but how did it begin? How did they come to be the Decepticon warlord and second-in-command that we all know?

• Comment: This troper does NOT recommend this fic. It's just five quick skits of Buffy one-upping characters from five other stories. The author has a blatant bias towards Buffy and the story honestly feels like a slap to the face. The Transformers skit deserves special mention. Buffy somehow defeats Unicron by herself. There is no explanation how she got to the Earth's core or how she defeated him, she just magically beats him offscreen, the Autobots react with slack-jawed shock like a bunch of chumps, and Buffy's ultimate reaction is a dismissive yawn and telling Ratchet that "the Matrix wasn't needed after all". F*** that. I apologize for the rant, but this story was just so disrespectful and cringeworthy.
