Bones Joins Forces With Xavier Wulf & Eddy Baker For 2023 “InLovingMemory Tour”

Facebook icon

Presale Tickets Available Starting on Wednesday, April 5; General Onsale Begins on Friday, April 7 at 10 AM Local Time on LiveNation.com

Today, kindred spirits and key figures in the hip-hop underground, Bones, Xavier Wulf , and Eddy Baker, announced they will hit the road this summer for BONES x Xavier Wulf x Eddy Baker: The InLovingMemory Tour , the first-ever co-headlining tour by these three artists, and Bones’ first time back on the road in four years.

Produced by Live Nation and Rolling Loud, the 20-city tour kicks off  at Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, CA, on May 20, and includes stops across the U.S. in Chicago, IL; Atlanta, GA; Denver, CO: and more before wrapping up at the Van Buren in Phoenix, AZ, on June 22.

BONES, Xavier Wulf, and Eddy Baker have been doing their thing away from the limelight for over a decade, creating their own strain of hip-hop in the dark corners of the internet. The three artists consciously avoid the hip-hop mainstream, but they’re still doing numbers: TeamSESH CEO BONES recently earned his first-ever GOLD certification from the RIAA for his 2014 hit “ HDMI ,” while Hollow Squad CEO Xavier Wulf went GOLD with his 2014 Blood Shore Season 2 cut “Psycho Pass.” BONES, Wulf, and Baker recently treated fans to a preview of the upcoming tour, joining forces on the main stage during Rolling Loud California 2023 .

The tour announcement continues as busy 2023 for BONES. He recently shared TheWitch&TheWizard , a haunting album created with longtime TeamSESH producer Greaf , a close collaborator of BONES who co-helmed his surrenderdorothy and OREGONTRAIL side projects. In March, BONES and Eddy Baker teamed up for “YellowStone ,” the first single from Jones Peak , their upcoming collaborative album. The first album by BONES and Eddy Baker as a duo since 2019’s cult favorite SparrowsCreek , Jones Peak arrives on April 14 via TeamSESH / EMPIRE .

TICKETS:   Tickets will be available starting with presales beginning on Wednesday, April 5 with the general onsale beginning on Friday, April 7 at 10 AM local time at LiveNation.com.

Bone Thugs-n-Harmony is one of the most well renowned hip-hop groups to come out of the early ‘90s. They started their career in Cleveland, Ohio, US and launched their career after Eazy-E signed them to Ruthless Records.

The group started performing around the Cleveland area in the early ‘90s under several names such as The Band-Aid Boys and B.O.N.E. Enterpri$e. The group was fairly large containing five members: Layzie Bone, Krayzie Bone, Bizzy Bone, Flesh-n-Bone, and Wish Bone. They released their first album “Faces of Death” in 1993 under the guidance of Krayzie Bone’s older brother, but the album did not gain them the success they were hoping to achieve. After the group released their debut album they were persistently seeking to find someone who could give them a record deal. After much searching they finally caught the eye of NWA’s Eazy-E who signed them to his label and convinced the group to change their name from B.O.N.E. Enterpri$e to Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.

In 1994 the group released their first EP “Creepin on ah Come Up” on Ruthless Records to commercial and critical success. The EP reached No. 12 on the Billboard 200 and No. 2 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The EP contained the very popular singles “Thuggish Ruggish Bone” and “For tha Love of $”, which featured Eazy-E. The EP showed Bone Thugs-n-Harmony shifting styles from the hardcore and abrasive gangsta rap style to a more G-Funk style that was prevalent in West Coast hip-hop.

The year 1995 showed Bone Thugs-n-Harmony releasing their second album “E. 1999 Eternal”, which would become the group’s most popular album. The album has been certified 4x Platinum and reached the No. 1 slot on the Billboard 200 chart. The album was also a critical success having been nominated for a Grammy for Best Rap Album and The Source labeled it as one of the best rap albums of the ‘90s. The album contained the singles “1st of that Month”, “East 1999”, and “Tha Crossroads”. Bone Thugs-n-Harmony were also praised for their melodic approach to rapping as well as the soundscape of the album, which included infectious G-Funk beats and dark uses of synthesizers.

After achieving mainstream success with their music career, the group started their own label called Mo Thugs Records that released albums for many Cleveland based artists. The group’s third album “The Art of War” was released in 1997 to commercial success and contained several unique collaborations, which included a song with Tupac Shakur labeled “Thug Luv”. The group’s fourth album “BTNHResurrection” also received commercial success, but it would be the last album that Flesh-n-Bone would appear on until their 2010 release “Uni5: The World’s Enemy”.

In the early 2000’s Bizzy Bone, Layzie Bone, and Krayzie Bone would take a break from the group and each release solo albums. For the group’s 2006 album “Thug Stories” the group was only down to three members, Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone, and Wish Bone, but the album was well received and placed high on the Billboard charts. Their 2010 album “Uni5: The World’s Enemy” saw all original members of the group reunited again.

Over the years the group has collaborated with some of the most celebrated performers in the business including Phil Collins, Mariah Carey, The Game, Akon, and will.i.am. The group has also worked with some of the most well-respected rappers including 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., and Big Pun. The group’s final album has plans for collaborations with Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and A$AP Mob. Their final album will only have one copy released, which will have a starting bid of $1 million dollars, and the album will be backed by a large world tour.

Live reviews

When the discussion turns to genuine, enduring legends of hip hop, Bone-Thugs-n-Harmony simply have to have their name pop up. Save for a five year lay-off between 2002 and 2007, they’ve been recording and performing consistently since 1991; whilst the early nineties days of the genuine classics - ‘Tha Crossroads’, ‘1st of Tha Month’ - have now been consigned to history, they continue to enjoy the kind of cult fanbase afforded only to the kind of hip hop acts that blazed a genuine trail back in their heyday.

Their live shows remain as vital as they every were, if not more so; there’s an energy and genuine interaction with the crowd that’s lacking in many of their contemporaries who are still on the circuit. They’re not afraid to drop a slew of new material in alongside the classics, and in doing so, they’re preserving their status as a going concern in creative terms. 2015 is set to see what we’re told will be the final ever Bone-Thugs-n-Harmony record, E.1999 Legends, drop, although they’re following Wu-Tang’s lead in pressing just the one physical copy, which will be auctioned. What that means for their live future is unclear, although they have a twenty-country UK tour slated to begin in December; if it is to be a farewell affair, they’ll hopefully make it to the UK for a proper goodbye to their legions of fans.

Since their beginnings in 1991, American hip hop collective Bone Thugs-n-Harmony have remained a consistent and respected name of the US rap circuit. Impressively all five members have remained present during the band's recording and touring schedule and apart from a short break in the mid 00's they have been working tirelessly.

Often complimented on the relationship they share with their audiences, after seeing the band live it is a worthy point. They interact with the crowd almost continuously throughout and due to their continued support the band have reason to continue touring and creating new music. There's a great rapport in the room and an equal amount of good energy from both sides.

It makes the reaction when the likes of 'Thuggish Ruggish Bone' and 'East 1999' even greater. The crowd nearly combusts with excitement during an encore which features the band's most infamous hits '1st of tha month' and 'Crossroads'. The crowd's singing nearly overshadows the group and the whole venue turns into one huge party with a hip-hop icon.

I Really Enjoyed Bone thugs n harmony here in Louisville Ky on 3/26/16 The concert was nice! But the one thing that got me was some of the girls freak dancing and grinding each other on stage then trying to grind all over bone thugs and girls need to respect bone thugs more! Bone thugs are married men and don't like being grind on they just want girls to have fun and show respect! They had too many opening acts performing it was only one good opening act the others was lame and boring and making everybody fall asleep! Including me! But when bone thugs family came out it was great! My most memory that I'll never forget is seeing and talking to Bizzy bone hours before the concert even started! But over everything else Bone Thugs put on a great show!

Bizzy Bone is my favorite rapper, Bone Thugs are my favorite group. I've now paid two times to see Bizzy Bone live and he has no-showed. Really disappointing that I've paid to see my favorite rapper two different times and he has no-showed both times. Both shows they have waited to inform us he wouldn't be there until the performances had already started and never did they offer a reimbursement or anything. I still enjoyed the show, but it is unlikely I will ever pay to see Bizzy/Bone Thugs again, as this is very typical of Bizzy Bone.

D'mOnEy here "live 4rum the 215"- An extremely hardcore "(BoneHead whose krazyly in sane over those T.H.U.G.S. from CleveLand". It seems too be, that most majority of BTNH's fanbase are apparently doing the exact same way all across the globe. Particularly by reading the same reviews that I have done in retrospect: spending their hard earned cash for doing a repeated show b-2-b to back just as I've done during in previous years througout the mid 2010's in 14,15, & 16 here in Philadelphia,PA.

My life was made last night! I waited 10+ years for this moment! They were awesome and showed great energy! I even got the opportunity to meet Layzie and Flesh. I was back stage and turned around to Bizzy in my presence! I was blessed last night and definitely lived my best life! Lil Flip was a cool dude too and I got the chance to kick it with him for awhile. I definitely have not had enough Bone Thugs in my life!!

Concert in Miami

the only problem i have is that they show up late to the show.. peoples feet are killing them because most of the gigs have no chairs... they spend alot of time with the remembering the lost ones.... and most of the time Bizzy isnt around or Krayzie... People were madd pissed here in miami the sound was crappy.. other then that everyone high as Fk* needs longer show and come on time...

They were amazing!!!!!Ive been a bone fan since 1996 and they blew my mind, they took it back way back taking me down memory lane. I had never seen them live and I never thought I ever would, thanks to songkick and spotify I was able to learn about them touring and was able to catch their show before they left the west coast. I hope they come back around i will definitely pay to see them again.

Finally got my chance to see my favorite group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony at the Strictly Strange Tour 2017....they were amazing as I expected, performed a bunch of their classic songs and did tributes to Eazy,Pac,and Biggie.I am determined to see them again,as headliners...I'd love to see them perform for hours....best group of all time.I've been down side 94...Thanks Bone Thugs for a great show....

The preshows weren’t that great, but Bone-Thugs were awesome!! We got to stand right in the front and it was an amazing experience! We had a lot of fun, and we definitely plan to go to concerts more after this experience. I highly recommend you go and see Bone-Thugs. Even after all these years they are still amazing artists.
