Lady Gaga is back and better than ever for her first tour in four years: the Chromatica Ball.
The 36-year-old pop star is bringing out some of her classics as well as her newer work, including tracks from her 2020 dance album “Chromatica,” as well as the soundtracks for “A Star Is Born” and “Top Gun: Maverick.”

The Chromatica Ball setlist is:

The Chromatica Ball stage
Gaga shared a photo of the stage to her socials on Sunday night with the caption, "This is my dance floor I fought for," lyrics from the song "Free Woman."
In a video shared on her Instagram moments before taking to the stage, Lady Gaga also revealed some details surrounding the Chromatica Ball, which was originally planned for 2020 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic , explaining, “The stage was inspired by brutalist architecture, materials, textures, crudity, transparency — a real savage and hard look at yourself, what you’ve been though.”
“I want to tell a story but with abstractions and art, so this show celebrates things that I have always loved,” she added. “Art and fashion and dance and music and technology, poetry, and the way all of those things work together.”

Lady Gaga's Chromatica Ball World Tour: Full Setlist & First Images
Yaaaaaaaas, gaga.
Lady Gaga has finally kicked off the long-awaited Chromatica Ball tour to promote her latest studio album released in 2020. As expected, Gaga put together a big, high-budget production that absolutely lived up to her past iconic tours, stages, and live performances.
During this first concert in Dusseldorf, Germany, Gaga performed songs from most of her albums - from The Fame to the A Star Is Born soundtrack to Chromatica . At the moment, the Chromatica Ball has 20 scheduled shows taking place in North America, Europe, and Asia
As expected, Gaga came up with a unique concept for this new tour, dividing the setlist into five different acts as well as an encore. During each act, she put together songs that might have come from different projects but that absolutely go together thematically. Thankfully, she also brought out all of the high-charting hits and the OG songs that fans feel nostalgic about while making sure to include some of her newer releases.
Fans are responding extremely well to this all-stadium tour, which has grossed as much as $110 million in ticket sales according to Billboard . It had been a while since Gaga traveled the world with a tour following her Las Vegas residency, so expectations were quite high for her big comeback.

Lady Gaga Launches Chromatica Ball: Setlist + Video
Gaga's long-awaited tour finally kicked off in Düsseldorf on Sunday
After an extended wait, Lady Gaga finally launched her “Chromatica Ball” in Düsseldorf, Germany on Sunday, July 17th.
The 20-song setlist contained nine songs from her 2020 album Chromatica , including the first-ever performances of “Alice,” “Replay,” “Sour Candy,” “Babylon,” “Free Woman,” and “Enigma.” Additionally, Gaga dusted off “Monster for the first time since 2014.
The setlist was divided into five acts, opening with a trio of fan favorites in “Bad Romance,” “Just Dance,” and “Poker Face.” She also performed “911,” “Telephone,” “Born This Way,” “The Edge of Glory,” and “Shallow.” For the encore, Gaga debuted “Hold My Hand,” her contribution to the Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack.
Update: Lady Gaga seemed to confirm a fan’s interpretation of the “Chromatica Ball” and its five acts.
🥹🖤 https://t.co/TLh02pc8DO — Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) July 18, 2022
Lady Gaga’s “Chromatica Ball” is a tour almost three years in the making. Originally announced in 2020, the tour was twice postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. In a social media post prior to the tour’s launch, Gaga admitted that there “was a time I thought I’d never be on stage again. I was so sad I couldn’t even dream anything but a painful nightmare. I’ve overcome my nightmare with love, support, trust, truth, bravery, talent and dedication. I am so grateful. I’ll see you in BABYLON.”
She further elaborated in an Instagram video posted hours ahead of Sunday’s concert. “I want to really thank you for sticking it out with me, and loving me through all the different iterations of my artistry, as well as me as a person,” Gaga said. “I feel more clear today than I have in a long time, and more pain-free than I have in ages.” (In 2018, Gaga was forced to cancel tour dates due to fibromyalgia, a condition that causes chronic pain.)
“Being free of pain on stage is a real healing experience because I’m able to dance and sing and enjoy the audience, enjoy the show…and really tell a story. I just want to thank you. I’m going to thank you in another way, and it’s through this performance. And it will be through every performance. I don’t know that I’ve been as speechless as I am today, knowing what we’re about to do.”
Gaga’s “Chromatica Ball” hits Stockholm, Paris, Arnhem, and London before making its way to North America in August. Tickets are available here .

Cloudbuster
It's hilarious how she thinks she's some massive touring juggernaut in the same vein as Coldplay, U2 and Metallica. Some of those dates (announced two years ago) haven't even sold out yet and it starts in a week. I'm guessing we'll see thousands of cheap tickets suddenly start appearing in a few days time to make it look like it's a "sellout", and even if they can't flog those to some poor unfortunate souls they'll try to cover up the large empty spots with tarpaulin or block them off entirely in a desperate bid to hide the truth from the GP. Not sure why she's even touring with that awful flop album in the first place, but I guess we'll get some laughs out of this tour if nothing else. Fact is, no one but her ever decreasing fanbase cares about Lady Gaga in 2022 and haven't for a very long time.
Lol why so bitter babe? Did she kill off all your family or something? Relax, take a deep breath. Lady Gaga is doing just fine.
That person just wrote what they thought about Gaga. She isn't popular like in 2009, so no need to compare her to big acts.
Mad that you think she compares herself to Coldplay and Metallica…..fact is she sets a standard when it comes to her tour production and has done so since her first big tour ( Fame Monster) ball. Subsequently her fans have come to expect not just a concert but a “show” …..and Lady Gaga is not one artist who is going to short change those fans. btw …..does anyone apart from Metallica and U2’s loyal fanbase care about them in 2022 ? ……no, i thought not
Well your standards are very low if you think using inflatables as stage props, wearing terrible costumes and stomping around and squealing like a demented hog is "setting a standard". It doesn't give the impression you're getting value for money, quite the opposite. The fact that she's only touring stadiums this time around gives the impression she thinks she's bigger than she actually is, and yes, she does think about Metallica's numbers considering she used an image from one of their dates to fool people into believing the huge audience was from one of her ARTRAVE dates, LOL and completely hilarious watching her scrambling for excuses when she was called out for lying, but Lady Gaga once said that lies are more interesting than the truth, so is anyone surprised by her constant stream of verbal Diarrhea?
The radical fans refuse to see the truth, bad show, terrible last album, just pandering to easily manipulated fans, let them enjoy that mediocrity
Oh shut up. Go take your meds and go to sleep. Lady Gaga is one of the biggest pop artists and best entertainers today and her ticket prices are expensive for that very reason, lol!
You sound like an obsessed weirdo by the way you talk about her in a deranged manner and seem to keep tabs on her every move. The mental facilities are open 24/7, feel free to check in any time.
and you're acting like a sunburnt snowflake the way you're carrying on. It's funny how Little Monsters always react in a similar way whenever she gets the slightest bit of criticism from non fans. Mental facilities are also open 24/7 for you too, which you'll probably need this week when the news of her choreographer starts spreading like wildfire. The onslaught of negativity of her continuing to work with sexual predators and hypocrisy to preach about "mental illness" will be deafening. The one star tour reviews will be the cherry on the cake. lol
Sounds like you're the one that needs to take their meds, Lady Gaga hasn't been successful as a solo artist since 2009. Her career was a car-crash circa Born This Way and it took Bradley Cooper to pull her from the wreckage for ASIB. Everyone thought she would build on that sound and then she released...Chromatica. lol First (solo) single turned out to be a monumental flop and the album dropped down the charts quicker than a lead balloon. She can't get a #1 single these days without collaborations. Oh and the cheap tickets sold first and the expensive ones still remain - some of those tickets have been on sale for months. Hardly impressive for (what you call) one of the best entertainers today. lol Pretty sure Adele and Taylor Swift aren't quaking in their boots over this 20 date tour that no one's interested in.
What criticism? Don't shroud deranged behavior and twisting of reality under "criticism". But hey keep yelling to the clouds, hoping someone will hear your prayer! Rofl! You WISH Lady Gaga got canceled but she'll stick around and haunt your worst nightmares forever!
You just made all of that up ! I can see why her success is keeping you up and bothered like this.
LindaVanVegchel
Cloudbuster you are a hater. Real fans of Lady Gaga will always go to her concerts. And support her. She is as talented as Coldplay, U2 and Metallica. I am fan of these bands as well. She is a very talented singer, songwriter, piano player and actress.
why are you so agressive? Do you not agree that GAga isn't that popualr anymore? Then how come her albums aren't charting that long like The Fame? It's not a bad thing, it's how it goes in pop world. Pop stars turn 30 , they aren't fresh and hot and only their fans want them. Just accept it
Lady Gaga’s Chromatica Ball Brings the Spectacle to Dodger Stadium but Really Soars With Solo Segment: Concert Review

Freddie Freeman was hitting homers down in San Diego, so it was up to visiting superstar Lady Gaga to keep the on-base percentage exceptionally high Saturday night at Dodger Stadium, site of one of the last stops on her “Chromatica Ball” outing. Surprises were few, this many weeks into a mega-tour whose production values were already known among the legions of Little Monsters who’d long since put curious paws to Googling Gaga’s setlists and setpieces.

Popular on variety.
Once those three introductory hits were out of the way and Gaga regained full control of her life and limbs for the next hour and 45 minutes, title cards periodically appeared on screen, establishing “Act I” through “Act V” and subsequent finales and denouements. Unlike her long-running “Enigma” show in Las Vegas, this tour has none of those scripted, philosophical monologues, so it’s not easy to suss whether there’s a real narrative arc at play in her mind or whether the ”act” business just provides cover for costume changes. There was undeniably an element of the momentum going into stall mode every time Gaga disappeared from sight for four or five minutes. But, as costuming spectacle goes, you’d be hard-pressed to argue it wasn’t worth the lull when the singer would suddenly reappeared in a bodysuit made out of what looked like innards-revealing, torso-hugging plexiglas, or better still, all masked up as a lovely, if intimidating, purple mantis.
She and her dozen or so dancers worked hard for the money for the first two-thirds of the show, working up enough monsoonal moisture to breathe sweaty life into “Chromatica” album tracks that might’ve slipped a fan’s mind, like the very pandemic-premonitory-feeling “911.” The set warmed up, eventually, after being established in the show’s beginnings with a monochromatic feel Gaga herself has said was inspired by architectual brutalism. (Gaga could sound a little Germanic herself in the early going as she repeatedly commanded the audience to “get your fucking hands in the air,” with a commandeering scowl and harsh make-up that was its own kind of brutal.)
But then, past the halfway point, the crowd of 52,000 saw that platform at second base pay off with an extended solo segment that gave the audience the unmitigated, uninterrupted Gaga that would form a solid basis for a fine one-woman stadium show, should she ever want to attempt that ballsy a gambit. Sitting at a piano that had been formulated to appear as something growing organically out of gnarly forest limbs and trunks, the queen of poker faces smiled for the first time all evening (not counting a sinister giggle earlier) and turned Dodger Stadium into an enchanted pop forest with a clinching series of solo ballads and, yes, motivational speeches.
For some of us, no show Gaga ever does will outdo her “Jazz and Piano” residency in Vegas, where she was more parts Rosemary Clooney than Grace Jones. But, of course, you’re not getting the full Gaga if you’re getting her in Irving Berlin mode. And in this show, the affected but still affecting intimacy of the solo segment made for a dynamic setup to a final stretch back on the main stage that made her dance-teria mode seem like her best mode after all.
Coming after a quieter, more thoughtful segment, “Stupid Love,” an up-tempo track that seemed kind of underwhelming when it was introduced as “Chromatica’s” first single two and a half years ago, suddenly weirdly felt like a visceral kick in the pants. And “Rain on Me,” too, finally felt as cathartic as Gaga meant it to. (After the crowd had just narrowly dodged an unseasonable L.A. precipitation bullet, it’s a good thing being an actual rainmaker is not among Gaga’s talents.)
The most interesting superstars are the ones that walk fine lines, and Gaga certainly continues to do that. After “Joanne,” and especially after the world discovered — via “A Star Is Born” — that she’s conventionally pretty, she could have further played the authenticity card for all it’s worth. But in the spirit of those “Keep Austin weird” bumper stickers Texans used to brandish, Gaga has determined to keep herself weird — or just weird enough to provide necessarily ballast to her more earnest inclinations. It’s clear, by the end of a show, that she just wants to give the disenfranchised world a hug. But with costuming that include jagged shoulder cones, it’s not clear how that’s going to happen without blood involved.

During the premiere of the film, Lady Gaga explained the special feeling of using this tour as a concert film. “I felt like the Chromatica Ball was a time where I took myself to the next level and it was something worth documenting and seeing for people that I love — not that I didn’t love my other tours,” she said, via The Hollywood Reporter . “I’m sure we all can relate to that feeling of when you personally feel proud of something is really different from when everyone around you feels that way.”
“I think personal passion is really kind of a private experience,” she continued. “I’m sure there’s lots of tours and albums that I’ve been a part of that you all would have loved to have seen up close, and I’m sorry for the ones that you didn’t have. But I hope that you know that what you’re about to watch, I stand by this with everything .”
The Chromatica Ball took place during the summer of 2022 and the film was produced, directed and created by Gaga. The special was filmed during the tour stop at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium.

Chromatica Ball setlist: See what Lady Gaga is performing on her 2022 world tour
We scoured social media to find out what she performed at the tour's first stop on Sunday, July 17 in Düsseldorf, Germany. Here's what we discovered.
The Chromatica Ball setlist is:
Introduction
“Bad Romance”
“Poker Face”
“Just Dance”
“Chromatica I” into “Alice”
“Chromatica II” into “911”
“Sour Candy”
“Telephone”
“Chromatica III” into “Babylon”
“Free Woman”
“Born This Way”
“Always Remember Us This Way”
“The Edge Of Glory”
“Stupid Love”
“Rain On Me”
“Hold My Hand”
Some fans were disappointed that no songs from her 2013 album "Artpop" or 2016 album "Joanne" were included in the evening's roster of music.

When Lady Gaga’s mom, Cynthia Germanotta, told her she believed she had met the man her daughter would marry five years ago, the "Joker: Folie à Deux" star was suitably skeptical.
But after she was introduced to businessman Michael Polansky , she quickly realized he was "the missing piece in my life."
"My mom met him, and she said to me, ‘I think I just met your husband,’ and I said, ‘I’m not ready to meet my husband!’" The 38-year-old told Vogue. "I could never have imagined that my mom . . . found the most perfect person for me?"
Germanotta met Polansky through her work with Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation and Gaga first crossed paths with Polansky at Facebook founding president Sean Parker’s birthday party in 2019. Polansky is an associate of Parker’s, and Gaga went to the event hoping to size him up.

They ended up talking for three hours. "We had the most amazing conversation," she told Vogue.
"I didn’t know much about her and honestly wasn’t sure what to expect," Polansky admitted, adding that as soon as he got to the party someone told him that the "Just Dance" singer was looking for him. "I was struck immediately by her warmth and openness—she was so genuinely curious about what my life was like growing up in Minnesota."
Their love grew as the pandemic hit, and they stayed together at her home in Malibu.
"I had never met anyone like Michael. He’s so smart and so kind," Gaga said. "And his life and my life are very different. He’s a very private guy, and he’s not with me for any other reason than that we are right for each other."

She added, "But I think what I want my fans to know is that I’m just, like, so happy. I’m healthy."
"I kind of thought I was going to have to do this all by myself—forever. And that was really scary. Because it’s a big life. And I don’t think anyone really knows what it feels like unless you’re in it. And I don’t have to do this alone anymore." — Lady Gaga
The "Bad Romance" singer said she felt the last time her fans "heard" from her was on the 2020 album "Chromatica."

"That album was about an absolutely horrible time for me with my mental health," she explained. "I was in a really dark place. I struggled for, like, many years before that. But everything started to change. Because I had a real friend who saw the ways in which I was unhappy and why. And he wasn’t afraid to truly hold my hand. And get to know me. On a very deep level."

The First Single From Lady Gaga’s New Pop Album Will Arrive Next Month
By Larisha Paul
Larisha Paul
After a quick side-quest as the co-star of Joker: Folie à Deux , Lady Gaga is back in pop star mode. The musician made her return last month with “Die With a Smile,” the unsurprisingly perfect pop duet with Bruno Mars that was a reminder of how easy she makes this all look. But it hasn’t been entirely uncomplicated behind the scenes — and it was her journey out of the darkness and into the light that she says informed her upcoming seventh studio album, set for release in February.
She added: “I feel like this new album, in a lot of ways, is about that time but from a place of happiness instead of misery.”
Her most recent tour, the Chromatica Ball , felt worlds away from what she had become used to feeling, but in a good way. She wasn’t in any of the chronic pain she had endured on previous tours, stopped smoking weed, and spent the time on the road with her now-fiancé Michael Polansky — and we have him to thank for her pivot back to the kind of pop music on Gaga could make.

“There’s a lot of pain associated with this adventure, and when I start to explore that pain, it can bring out another side to my artistry,” Gaga explained about her creative process at the moment. “When I’m here at this studio, I’m relaxed, and I am able to face my demons, and what’s remarkable is… that’s the music. I’m able to hear it back.”
With her capital-P return to pop, Gaga is returning to the arena in the company of some of her favorite musicians. Speaking about the genre-disrupting it-girls Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, and Billie Eilish, she shared: “I mean, I really love them. I go on the internet and, like, cry.” She’s also backing Taylor Swift and Kesha on their respective musical journeys. “I’m not only cheering them on, I want them to know that my heart is in it with them,” Gaga added. “And I want them all to feel really happy.”

Lady Gaga And Her Fiancé Michael Polansky Just Opened Up About Their Relationship For The First Time, And It Is So Incredibly Wholesome
“My mom met him and she said to me: ‘I think I just met your husband,’ and I said: ‘I’m not ready to meet my husband!’”
BuzzFeed Staff
Earlier this year, Lady Gaga sparked engagement rumors when she was spotted wearing a large ring on her left hand.
Then, in July, the singer fueled the speculation when she apparently referred to her partner, Michael Polansky, as her “fiancé” during a conversation with French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the Paris Olympics opening ceremony.
Gaga first started dating Michael in 2020, but she has always kept their relationship pretty private .
In 2021, the star made a rare comment about him in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter , where she called him her “whole life.”
But now, in a new interview with Vogue , Gaga has pulled back the curtain on her and Michael’s romance for the first time — confirming that they are, in fact, engaged after he proposed to her in April following a day of rock climbing.
Speaking to the publication, Gaga revealed that she first heard about Michael through her mom, Cynthia Germanotta, in 2019.
For context, Cynthia runs Gaga’s non-profit, the Born This Way Foundation, which was established in 2012. According to Vogue, Cynthia met Michael “through philanthropic overlap.”
Gaga added: “My mom met him and she said to me: ‘I think I just met your husband,’ and I said: ‘I’m not ready to meet my husband!’ I could never have imagined that my mom found the most perfect person for me?”
But the two didn’t cross paths until December 2019, when Gaga attended Napster cofounder Sean Parker’s 40th birthday party. Michael is a longtime friend of Sean's, and she admitted that she hoped to bump into him at the event.
“I got invited and I said: ‘I wonder if Michael is going to be there,’ and my mom said yes, and so I went to the party and I kept asking for him and he finally came over to me and we talked for three hours,” Gaga explained. “We had the most amazing conversation.”
Michael also revealed to the publication that almost immediately after he entered the party, somebody told him that Gaga was looking for him.
“I didn’t know much about her and honestly wasn’t sure what to expect,” he admitted. “I was struck immediately by her warmth and openness — she was so genuinely curious about what my life was like growing up in Minnesota.”
After weeks of talking on the phone, Gaga and Michael went on their first date "and just fell in love." Soon after, the COVID-19 pandemic hit.
Michael ended up moving from his home in San Francisco to live with Gaga at her Malibu house during the lockdowns — meaning that they were able to “completely focus” on their growing relationship.
“We had this amazing chapter of a weird kind of normalcy,” Michael recalled. “That’s essential for any relationship to develop in a real way — taking walks, making coffee, hanging out with the dogs, reading books together.”
“I think she loved the chance to slow down,” he added in reference to the pandemic. “She’s been operating at an unfathomable level of intensity for years and it’s no secret it had caught up to her.”
Discussing her decision to keep her relationship as private as possible, Gaga said: “His life and my life are very different. He’s a very private guy and he’s not with me for any other reason than that we are right for each other.”
“What I want my fans to know is that I’m just, like, so happy. I’m healthy,” she added.
And Michael is also incredibly supportive of his partner’s career, with Gaga revealing that he is the one who encouraged her to return to the pop genre for her upcoming seventh album.
“Like anyone would do for the person they love, I encouraged her to lean into the joy of it,” Michael said. “On the Chromatica tour, I saw a fire in her; I wanted to help her keep that alive all the time and just start making music that made her happy.”

Little Rope Deluxe sortira le 4 octobre via Loma Vista Recordings.
Little Rope Deluxe Track List: Disc 1: 1. Hell 2. Needlessly Wild 3. Say It Like You Mean It 4. Hunt You Down 5. Small Finds 6. Don’t Feel Right 7. Six Mistakes 8. Crusader 9. Dress Yourself 10. Untidy Creature

Cela couvre ainsi les albums Sacrifice (1995), Overnight Sensation (1996), Snake Bite Love (1998), We Are Motörhead (2000), Hammered (2002), Inferno (2004) et Kiss of Death (2006).
Was Never On Your Side.

Lady Gaga Teases Album Set for 2025 Release: It Brings Out ‘Another Side to My Artistry’
Lady Gaga released her last studio solo album in 2020, but fans won’t have to wait too much longer for the next one.
The 13-time Grammy winner, 38, teased the upcoming project, which she calls LG7 , in a profile with Vogue , published Friday, September 6. In it, she reveals that the album will come out in February, but its first single will drop in October.
“There’s a lot of pain associated with this adventure,” Gaga told the outlet. “And when I start to explore that pain it can bring out another side to my artistry. When I’m here at this studio, I’m relaxed and I am able to face my demons and what’s remarkable is … that’s the music. I’m able to hear it back.”
She added that the album will give even the most ardent Gaga fans a more intimate look at who she is.

“I’m really excited for you — and my fans — to get to know me more for the texture of my heart,” she added.
Gaga also teased a “surprise project” she has been working on but is keeping the details under wraps.
Gaga has reached superstardom, but she hasn’t focused solely on her own music. She’s kept a close eye on those around her in the industry, rattling off artists like Charli XCX , Chappell Roan and Billie Eilish as those she’s been listening to.
“I mean, I really love them. I go on the internet and, like, cry. And I love Taylor Swift , too. And Kesha . I watch it all, and I’m like: ‘Yup. Go! Just Go,’” she said. “I’m not only cheering them on, I want them to know that my heart is in it with them. And I want them all to feel really happy.”

She also touched on how her life has changed since she became engaged to CEO Michael Polansky (the profile is sure to mention a “Wilma Flintstone–size” diamond on Gaga’s hand).
“The missing piece in my life was having real love,” she said.

Gaga added that Polansky, 46, is the one who convinced her to record her upcoming album.
“He was like, ‘Babe. I love you. You need to make pop music,’” she said.
“Like anyone would do for the person they love, I encouraged her to lean into the joy of it,” Polansky chimed in. “On the Chromatica tour, I saw a fire in her; I wanted to help her keep that alive all the time and just start making music that made her happy.”

Lady Gaga, who didn't know what Fortnite is, joins Fortnite Festival video game
Gaga tweeted an image of herself recreated in digital form with the "Fortnite Festival" logo in the corner.
Lady Gaga , the Oscar-winning global pop icon who famously once asked her followers what Fortnite was via Twitter, has officially joined the online game's Fortnite Festival .
After the upcoming Joker: Folie á Deux actress shared Tuesday an image of a digital recreation of herself to social media in a quote-tweet of her memorable 2019 post that posed the question, "What's fortnight," Epic Games announced Wednesday that Gaga will officially join Fortnite Festival as a headlining act.
Launching on Feb. 22, Gaga will headline the Fortnite Festival Season 2: Unlock Your Talent with eight of her songs as playable tracks. The titles gamers will be able to hear in the game include "Applause," "Bloody Mary," "Born This Way," "The Edge of Glory," "Just Dance," "Poker Face," "Stupid Love," and "Rain on Me" featuring Ariana Grande. Gaga will headline the game on a stage inspired by her 2020 album Chromatica .
Gaga's initial tweet served as a hilarious correction of her prior spelling error in the original note nearly five years later, as she captioned the new Fortnite image — which sees her clad in an outfit similar to one she wore on the 2022 Chromatica Ball tour — with a one-word statement: "*fortnite."
Many took this as an indication that Gaga would follow in the footsteps of The Weeknd , who partnered with the Epic Games title in 2023 to create a playable headlining festival set featuring his music.
Billed as a "music-driven, rhythm-based game" that is "playable as two unique experiences: Fortnite Festival Main Stage and Fortnite Festival Jam Stage," the Fortnite Festival offshoot from the main battle royale-style original allows players to enter the game's popular environment and "play through a licensed soundtrack of some global hits and Fortnite originals," per Epic's website .
The Fortnite news comes amid Gaga's repeated teases about a potential upcoming album, studio sessions for which she has previewed online in recent weeks.
Fellow pop star Kesha joined in on the excitement over the thought of new material from Gaga after the latter wrote "Tik tok tik tok" underneath a photo of herself at work. "READY MOTHER," Kesha — who roared onto the pop music scene in 2009 with her No. 1 smash titled "Tik Tok" — commented.
In a 2021 interview with EW , Gaga said that new music was always on her mind.
"There's always music in my heart, in the works. It's just about [asking], 'What will it be?'" she explained. "I'm not ready to answer that yet. But what I will say is that ... I'm always thinking about music. It just comes out in different forms."
