Travel Insurance Blues

Although your rep was most helpful and her customer care was excellent I have to berate the insurance company you use as they were most unhelpful. I am 69 and have a heart condition and type 2 diabetes which is well controled by my medication and I can walk and run and feel great. Your insurance company turned me down. I found alternative cover but yes no questions do NOT fully describe a medical condition or a person's fitness.

Change of plan.

We were looking for a cruise but as it was only 3 weeks to the date we had in mind there was very little available but Lauren didn't rush us and even gave me time to go home for our passports when we settled for 10 days in Tenerife.

Not worth dealing with

Not worth dealing with,.......... We booked the holiday with Shrewsbury whilst shopping. We had to take our passports to wrexham to be booked in. Your staff looked at the passports and was physically working out if it was valid. She didn't tell us the issue date was out of date. We could have done something about it had she had told us. WE DIDN'T HAVE THE PASSPORTS WITH US IN SHREWSBURY AND THEREFORE CALLED AT WREXHAM FOR THEM TO CHECK US IN, WITH OUR PASSPORTS......... Your staff discussed between them of how many months it was whilst looking at the passports. Therefore they were checking the passports!!

Good Morning, I am saddened to learn that you will not deal with our branch. Yesterday, you came in to advise your passports were not in date after booking last week with the Shrewsbury branch. In addition, we called the tour operator and also suggested to try and get an emergency appointment for a new passport. However it was too late. Unfortunately, It is a customers responsibility to ensure passports are in date before booking a holiday and checking them in good time before going. Hays Travel Wrexham had no involvement in the booking process, however, I am sorry you feel that way. I know myself and colleague tried to do our very best yesterday but we are sorry it has resulted in this situation. When you come to check in, my colleague did not need to check your passports as they were already input on Easyjet website. On the 6th December at 19:55pm, you accessed the portfolio to upload your passport information to the website, therefore we never needed to look at your passports here in the Wrexham office as they were already saved. I have tried to call you regarding your review, if you do wish to discuss this further then do return my call on 01978 266611. Best Regards, Leah Branch Manager

Good Morning, I am sorry to learn you were disappointed in your recent trip to Cyprus. When looking at this booking, I can see this hotel is advertised to be in Protaras area. It states via the Jet2holidays website (100m from the nearest shops, bars and restaurants, 350m from the beach, 1.2km from Pernera village centre, 1.5km from Protaras resort centre.) I am sorry this did not meet your expectations in terms of location. All of the staff do take great care in showing customers images, location, facilities and any hotel reviews. Saving the day

Helpful and understanding of our needs carried on looking for a holiday when we left and then emailed us 3 holidays so we returned and booked a holiday we should have been on holiday but it was cancelled the evening before so it was a stressful time but Courtney was brilliant
