The Travel N Care Stroller was very simple to put together - just slot the wheels on and go! I loved the one handed fold mechanism, it was very intuitive to use, I didn’t need to read any instructions before using it which is essential for any parent where time is premium. When we were out & about we were next to a family with the Jools Aer and they look very similar pushchairs, so the biggest selling point of this one is that it’s less than half the price of it’s more premium rival. I love that the covers are removable & washable as we all know how much toddlers adore snacks! It was extremely comfortable for my 2 year old - so much so she refused to get out of it! The backrest is easily adjustable for naps and I love the peekaboo window for keeping an eye on your baby. The lap bar is also a good addition as it’s often an extra add on. Finally, we loved the adjustable footrest as it made for a more comfortable ride for my little one. Premium stroller at a budget price!

Really compact and easy to open, especially if you’re on your own! I like that you can sling it over your shoulder easily too. It’s a very nice looking stroller, lies quite flat for naps and the sun shade covers right over probably more so than other strollers I’ve used so extra shading in the sun. Had the olive green colour which is lovely and am aware it comes in other nice colours too. The basket below is a good size. It’s smooth to push along too. Overall very pleased with this product and would definitely recommend.

I recently transitioned from a two-part travel system and it feels like this has many of the features I liked from the travel system, without the bulk.The design is stylish, simple and sleek.Manoeuvrability is light, but feels sturdy. The wheel swivel is smooth and the suspension handled both the city and rural domain equally well. The breaking system is neat, quick and easy to apply. The one handed fold is easy and simple and when folded is light, compact and small for storage and doesn’t take up too much boot space. As a mum of three, I do not travel light and found the larger basket quite spacey compared to other strollers I have used in the past. I liked the good size UV protected hood, with the added benefit of a peek-a-boo window. When my son was asleep I was able to fully recline the seat, but keep an eye on him through the peek-a-boo window.The bumper bar was a particular favourite feature for my son, he liked to pop his feet up and hold on to the bar when travelling around.

This Travel N Care Stroller is brilliant I would definitely recommend to a friend of fellow mum. It folds compact, is easy to manoeuvre and the seat sits very upright compared to others of this style. My toddler is very happy in this and can also nap as it lies flat. I like the olive green colour I received.

It’s quick and easy to put up & collapse which is essential when travelling with children. It doesn’t take up as much space in my boot as our bigger pram so it’s a great stroller to take on holiday or on days out when you need to fill your boot with other things! It’s also great for everyday as it can be stored standing up in the hallway. I loved the carrying strap too, great idea for travelling when you need to have your hands free for your children. Despite being a compact pushchair the basket is a decent size so again, it’s perfect for days out or holidays. We had an older compact stroller (Mamas & Papas Acro) & this was a definite upgrade - my daughter was so much more comfortable in it and the adjustable footrest was a particular & It was really easy to handle, felt robust despite being light and I can imagine us choosing this over our bigger pram in a lot of situations. The harness felt a lot sturdier than other ones we’ve tried and it was also comfortable for our little one.

Final thoughts

The Hauck Travel N Care Stroller is a great lightweight and compact stroller which is perfect for travelling with. It folds down with just one hand to a small size thanks to the self-closing transport lock and can be carried by the padded shoulder strap, if your child is wanting to walk.

The travel N Care provides pure comfort with 4x suspended and agile wheels providing a smooth ride and adjustable seating and lying area, providing your child with plenty of room. It also comes with a canopy with UV protection from the sun and a peek-a-boo window, so that you can still see them. Although some have said the hood could benefit from being extended to cover a bit more. It also includes a large storage basket at the bottom for you to easily store the essentials when out and about.

Verpackung und Aufbau

Der Travel N Care kommt in einem sehr kompakten Karton bei uns an. Die einzelnen Teile sind durch Folie und Schaumstoff gut gesichert, so kann beim Transport nichts zerkratzen. Der Aufbau gestaltet sich wirklich einfach: Gestell aufgeklappt, Verdeck und Räder angebracht und schon ist der Reisebuggy bereit für seinen ersten Einsatz!

Die wichtigsten Fakten im Überblick

Hauck travel n care test: der fahrkomfort.

Reisebuggys, wir kennen es, können mitunter ganz schön rumpelig unterwegs sein. Klar, wir alle wünschen uns zum Verreisen ein geringes Gewicht und kleines Packmaß. Da machen viele Hersteller schnell Abstriche beim Komfort, sowohl bei dem der Eltern als auch bei der Gemütlichkeit für’s Kind. Überraschende Erkenntnis unserer Tester:innen: Der Hauck Travel N Care fährt sich richtig gut! Sicher ist damit ein Ausflug über Stock und Stein nicht unbedingt so ratsam, aber auf Asphalt und sogar Pflastersteinen wird uns hier ein wirklich ruhiges Fahrgefühl geboten. Kein unsicheres Wackeln, kein Klappern.

Reifen 4-fach gefedert

Verantwortlich hierfür ist ganz klar die 4-fache Federung der Reifen. Diese sind, wie bei Reisebuggys üblich, aus Gummi und – wieder Thema geringes Gewicht – auch nicht besonders dick bereift. Die Federung an jedem einzelnen davon ist beim Schieben deutlich spürbar.

Wie bequem ist der Reisebuggy fürs Kind?

Lange Rückenlehne auch für größere Kinder

Der Fahrkomfort für uns Eltern konnte uns überzeugen, doch wie ist es für unsere Kleinen unterwegs? Der Travel N Care kommt mit einer langen Rückenlehne von 46 cm daher. Das kann sich absolut sehen lassen und steht einem „normalen“ Buggy in nichts nach. Hier finden also auch größere Kinder noch ausreichend Platz. Bei der Sitztiefe messen wir 19,5 cm. Eine durchschnittliche Größe für einen Reisebuggy. Die Rückenlehne können wir mit einem praktischen Clip-Zug-System stufenlos verstellen.

Verstellbar bis in die Liegeposition

Und die Liegeposition, die uns auf langen Reisen besonders wichtig ist, bietet der Hauck Travel N Care ebenfalls. Für ein gemütliches Schläfchen unterwegs ist also gesorgt. Hier ist jedoch anzumerken, dass Dein Kind im Travel N Care nicht komplett flach liegen kann, wie Du auf dem Foto gut erkennen kannst.

3-fach verstellbare Fußstütze

Ob Babyalter oder großes Kleinkind, die Fußstütze finden wir für einen Reisebuggy wirklich gut durchdacht. Sie lässt sich in drei verschiedene Stufen verstellen: Flach, geneigt und komplett nach unten. Die Polsterung der Sitzfläche wurde bis zum Ende der Fußstütze verwendet, Komfort für die müden Beine ist also gegeben. Außerdem befindet sich darunter eine Abstellmöglichkeit, wenn die Beinchen schon etwas länger sind. Diese ist auch dafür vorgesehen, wenn Dein kleiner Schatz schon alleine einsteigen möchte. Hier finden wir sogar eine Anti-Rutsch Beschichtung.

Belastbarkeit bis 22 kg – Sitzkomfort ausbaufähig

Nun zum Wichtigsten für unsere Kleinen: Der Sitzkomfort. Hier müssen wir leider Abstriche machen. Der Sitz ist zwar gepolstert, aber nicht besonders großzügig. Heißt: Wenn Dein kleiner Schatz schon etwas schwerer ist, gibt die Polsterung schnell nach. Darunter fühlen wir eine Art Brett, wie bei vielen Reisebuggys üblich. Und Du kannst es Dir schon denken: Brett = eher hart. Jedoch ist der Travel N Care von Hauck für ein Körpergewicht bis zu 22 kg zugelassen, also für Kinder bis zu einem Alter von 4 Jahren. Deshalb hätten wir uns hier definitiv etwas mehr Polster gewünscht.

Sicherheit mit 5-Punkt-Gurt und Schutzbügel

Für die nötige Sicherheit auf Reisen sorgt der 5-Punkt-Gurt, der sich – wir haben es mit einem Fünfjährigen getestet – nur mit recht kräftigem Druck eines Erwachsenen wieder öffnen lässt. Diese Erkenntnis sorgt bei uns immer wieder für Begeisterung, da sich viele Gurte zu leicht öffnen lassen und das ein oder andere Kind schon einmal während der Fahrt das Weite suchte.

Verdeck mit Belüftungsöffnung

Für ausreichend Belüftung und zur Anwesenheitskontrolle des kleinen Passagiers sorgt das Sichtfenster aus Mesh-Gewebe. Zugeklappt wird es mittels Klettverschluss gesichert, so kann auch an stürmischeren Urlaubstagen kein ungewünschter Fahrtwind ins Innere gelangen.

Großer Einkaufskorb mit ausreichend Platz

Noch einen Einkauf für den Kühlschrank der Ferienwohnung tätigen: Mit dem Einkaufskorb des Hauck Travel N Care Reisebuggys gar kein Problem. Mit seinem Fassungsvermögen von ca. 15l und einer Belastbarkeit von 3 kg bietet er mehr als ausreichend Platz fürs Shopping oder eine große Ladung Sandspielzeug.

Fußbremse mit Anti-Rutsch Beschichtung

Der Travel N Care Reisebuggy hat eine praktische Fußbremse mit Anti-Rutsch Beschichtung. Diese hält den Wagen sehr sicher an seinem Platz, was für einen Reisebuggy durchaus nicht selbstverständlich ist.

Kann ich den Travel N Care mit ins Flugzeug nehmen?

Ein ganz wichtiger Punkt für uns Eltern, wenn wir mit dem Nachwuchs fliegen: Kann ich meinen Reisebuggy in der Kabine verstauen, oder muss ich ihn als Gepäck bzw. spätestens am Gate aufgeben? Zusammengeklappt misst der Travel N Care 58 x 50 x 34 cm und wiegt dabei 6,85 kg. Die Vorgaben von beispielsweise der Lufthansa für einen Reisebuggy an Bord sind 55 x 40 x 23 cm und 8 kg. Die anderen Airlines haben ähnliche Maße vorgegeben. Bedeutet: Bevor Du mit dem Hauck Travel N Care bis ans Gate rollst, frage am besten bereits vor Abflug bei deiner Fluggesellschaft nach.

Zusammenklappen und Tragen

Auf Reisen muss es manchmal gerade am Flughafen oder beim Einstiegen in den Zug ganz schön schnell gehen. Umso wichtiger, dass sich ein Reisebuggy fix zusammenklappen lässt. Wie ist das also in unserem Hauck Travel N Care Test? Der Hersteller wirbt mit dem sogenannten One Hand Fold, dem Zusammenklappen mit nur einer Hand. Das ist möglich, wir finden es jedoch mit beiden Händen definitiv einfacher. Hierfür betätigen wir beide Hebel an der Schiebestange gleichzeitig (das klappt mit einer Hand), mit der anderen Hand ziehen wir den Reisebuggy am Schutzbügel zu uns. Drei, zwei, eins und der wendige Urlaubsbegleiter geht in die Knie. Dann sichern wir das Ganze mit dem seitlich angebrachten Transportschutz. Mit etwas Übung funktioniert das tatsächlich auch mit nur einer Hand. Cooles Extra: Der Travel N Care Buggy hat eine Trageschlaufe und lässt sich damit auf der Schulter transportieren. Geübte Eltern haben dabei sogar noch beide Hände frei, um das ganze andere Gepäck zu tragen. Mit seinen 6,85 kg Gewicht wird die Schulter dann auch nicht allzu schnell müde.

Im Buggy Travel N Care von Hauck transportieren Sie Ihr Kind bis zu einem Gewicht von 25 Kilogramm. Die Belastbarkeit liegt über dem Durchschnitt und macht den Wagen auch für den Transport von für schwereren und älteren Kindern interessant. Das geht leider zulasten der Einkaufskorbkapazität. Dieser hält gerade einmal drei Kilogramm aus. Seinem Namen als Reisebuggy macht er mit seinem kompakten Faltmaß und der federleichten Konstruktion Ehre. Er wiegt knapp unter sieben Kilogramm und Sie bringen ihn mit wenigen Handgriffen auf eine Höhe von 58 und eine Breite von 34 Zentimetern. Damit sollte er in jeden noch so kleinen Kofferraum passen. Für Komfort sorgen die allseits stoßgedämpften Räder. Vorne sind diese zudem schwenkbar, was die Navigation erleichtert. Den Sitz bringen Sie stufenlos von der Sitz- bis in die Liegeposition, die Fußstütze lässt sich dreifach verstellen und an die Größe Ihres Kindes anpassen. Für rund 150 Euro bietet der Reisebuggy eine umfangreiche und insgesamt erfreuliche Ausstattung.

The city of Khabarovsk played a crucial role in East - Russian history and is famous for its historic sights, monuments of architecture of different eras, religious buildings, lovely parks, gardens, and artificial lakes which surprise its visitors with impressive fountain shows.

Khabarovsk History

Founded in 1858, the city is now loved by Chinese travelers and those who are going on iconic train journeys along the world's longest railway from Siberia. After days of relentless taiga, people reach this vibrant city with multiple attractions, plenty of historical sights from the tsarist-era, and a number of places to try traditional Russian cuisine. Khabarovsk is indeed a charming city that deserved to be on your travel itinerary. Especially, if you are the legendary Trans-Siberian is on your travel radar.

We suggest beginning your Khabarovsk tour from the famous monument erected in honor of Nikolay Muravyov - Amursky, one of the best-known explorer of East Siberia, a general, and the founder of the city.

Continue your Khabarovsk trip with a riverside walk along the picturesque Nevelsky Embankment and pass through the third tallest church (35 feet) in all Russia - Spaso-Transfiguration Cathedral standing on top of a hill. Take in the spectacular location and view of this Cathedral and its classic golden domes, dominating the city skyline and being visible from a large distance.

Khabarovsk, Russia fascinates visitors with its unusual heritage and fabulous untouched nature. Tourists are drawn to the native culture, eclectic architecture and mesmerizing waters in this off-the-beaten-track destination, which promises a unique and memorable vacation.

As the center of Russia’s far eastern region of Khabarovsk Krai, the city offers celebrations throughout the year which are sure to give added flair to your trip, from traditional culture days to large-scale food fests. It is easy to keep a full itinerary during your stay thanks to its many theaters, museums, restaurants, workshops and quest rooms. Guests who want a more relaxed holiday can venture into the serenity of Khabarovsk nature, including the coast of the Sea of Japan or one of the region’s many picturesque lakes .

Khabarovsk Architecture

Khabarovsk architecture surprises with its harmonious blending of varying types and styles. This is due in large part to major changes which the city underwent in the mid-19th-early 20th centuries in conjunction with developments in the political, economic, scientific and technical spheres. The search for new trends in architecture came after the death of the classicism style, which had dominated the Russian Empire and the wider world for centuries. Beginning in the mid-19th century, the practice of mixing eclectic architectural styles began to emerge, leading to an era of amazing stylistic improvisations.

During the final decades of Romanov reign, many educational institutions for architects and engineers were opened. As a result, the face of numerous Russian cities began to change rapidly. Art Nouveau - a new, modern trend that absorbed several preceding styles – had come to dominate the architectural scene.

Many Art Nouveau buildings can still be seen in central Khabarovsk. These include:

• Takeuchi apartment building (5 Muravyov-Amursky Street)
• Esplanade Hotel (18 Muravyov-Amursky Street)
• Luhta apartment building (84 Komsomolskaya Street)
• Zandau apartment building (34 Muravyov-Amursky Street)

Khabarovsk also has many Gothic buildings, a style distinguished by its elegance and attention to detail. Every element of Gothic architecture emphasize a vertical orientation, as seen in the massive walls and columns, round arches and wide windows which contrast with narrow towers, pointed peaks and lancet windows.

Khabarovsk’s Gothic architecture is best represented by the artillery warehouse buildings located at 16 Komsomolskaya Street. Another notable example is the Red Guard Headquarters (105 Komsomolskaya Street), which has been preserved in its original form. The complex consists of two identical two-story brick buildings with unusual motifs containing pseudo-gothic elements.

Also of note is the early 20th-century Treasury Building, a luxurious red brick structure with openwork balconies that exudes an architectural grace.

Khabarovsk also has many Soviet-era buildings which were mostly designed in the constructivism style. Characterized by their enormous size and grotesque shapes, they often occupy most of the block and dominate the surrounding space.

During your Khabarovsk excursion, be sure to appreciate its unique architectural heritage by going for a walk downtown .

Khabarovsk Attractions

The layout of Khabarovsk is very simple: its 3 main streets of Lenin, Muravyov-Amursky and Seryshev pass through the downtown area, while Ussuriysky and Amur Boulevards run perpendicular to them. A distinctive feature of Khabarovsk are its many hills, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes for your walk.

Begin your walking tour of Khabarovsk from the train station, where you can see the monument to Yerofey Khabarov, the famous explorer for whom the city is named. Nearby is a sculpture of a double-headed eagle, erected in memory of soldiers, officers and builders of the Far Eastern Railway. Moving from the station along Amur Boulevard you will reach the central market, just past which is Lenin Square. A spacious area with a granite fountain in the center, it is the main plaza of Khabarovsk and the site of the city’s Christmas and New Year celebrations. Next to the square is Dynamo Park, famous for its three ponds and Ferris wheel.

From Lenin Square, move along Muravyov-Amursky Street to reach Amur Embankment, passing most of Khabarovsk’s famous 19th-20th century buildings along the way. Descend to the embankment via two grand staircases or make a small detour onto Shevchenko Street, where you can follow the slope until you reach the embankment’s main stretch. Among other things, the area is home to the House of Officers and three museums.

As you move along the embankment through a park you will come across the city symbol of Khabarovsk, a building set on a steep cliff above the Amur River. It was at the foot of this cliff that the founders of a military post, the first semblance of civilization in the area, first landed.

After reaching the river and walking along Ussuriysky Boulevard to Turgenev Street, turn right to reach Glory Square. Here you will find another famous Khabarovsk landmark, Transfiguration Cathedral, along with a magnificent view of the Amur River and its dreamy islands. Glory Square concludes the main walking route of Khabarovsk, but from here you can reach any part of the city by public transport or taxi .

Khabarovsk Cultural Life

Khabarovsk entertainment centers around its many theaters and museums. Visit Khabarovsk Museum of Local Lore to get a better glimpse of city and regional life. Children and adults alike will want to visit Fishes of Amur River Museum, an aquarium which is home to some 90 species of the underwater world. To catch the vibe of local artists, head to the Far Eastern Art Museum.

There are several theaters in Khabarovsk, each of which is worth visiting:

In addition, Khabarovsk offers several concert halls, culture houses, cinemas and art institutions .

Khabarovsk Souvenirs

While the city’s souvenir selection is not as diverse as in other Russian cities, guests can still find something suited to their tastes on their tour to Khabarovsk. Amur River and the Sea of Japan offer an abundance of seafood that can be tasted on the spot or brought home in dried or smoked form. Yet it is the rich culture of the local indigenous peoples which provides the largest selection of national souvenirs.

If you’re looking for an original gift, traditional Nanai slippers are comfortable and warm. Sewn from leather or fabric and decorated in a bright, colorful style before being trimmed with fur, they make the perfect house shoes in winter. Traditional decorations include amulets which are made from animal bones, fur or fabrics and decorated with ribbons and colored beads.

Standard souvenirs like plates, magnets, mugs and flasks stamped with images of Khabarovsk or its coat of arms can be purchased in souvenir shops, which are mostly located downtown and at the airport and railway station.
