Just back from a truly amazing 7 night Nile cruise on M S Emilio. The holiday included 1 night at the Swiss Inn Hurghada, travel to Luxor for 7 night cruise then back to Hurghada for a further 3 nights. This trip was really great, the boat MS Emilio was very comfortable with large cabins, all with patio doors out to Juliet balcony.

I believe this is one of the older boats that cruise up and down the Nile and it shows. It's decor feels like the Agatha Christie novel.

Only few gripes are the room slightly dated so we had to get a new safe, toilet fixed, mirror falling off the wall. These were fixed quite quickly.

Food -mediocre and repetitive, mostly tasteless .Although food all-inclusive in our package we ate on other boats and paid for it rather than face that food again. The cabins are a little dirty especially in bathrooms. The 27£ charge on checking in IS NOT COMPULSORY,!

Ms emilio Nile cruise. Review of Nile River. Reviewed 31 December 2017. We had visited the Nile on a previous trip and so looked forward to a return visit. We stayed one week in Hurgharda in the Labranda Royal Makadi Bay which was excellent, interspace by a week on the Nile. The Nile itself is amazing. The temples and ruins are worth visiting.
