Originally called Blyss, Lifehouse is an alternative rock band formed in Los Angeles, U.S. in 1999. Lifehouse has produced six albums over the past decade and a half, with songs gaining commercial success on both radio and television.

The band, originally comprised of Jason Wade, Sergio Andrade, and Jon Palmer, signed with DreamWorks Records in 2000 under their new name Lifehouse. The debut album “No Name Face” was a re-recorded album from Blyss’s EP “Diff’s Lucky Day” and immediately became a mainstream success. The single “Hanging By A Moment” earned a spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for the year 2001. It was also recognized internationally as the theme song for the 2000 Winter Olympics held in Salt Lake City, Utah, U.S. Lifehouse’s “Everything” was the first of many songs to appear on the soundtrack for television drama Smallville.

Rick Woolstenhumle and Bryce Soderberg joined the band shortly after as drummer and bassist respectively. On 2 March 2005 Lifehouse released their self-titled third album “Lifehouse.” Their sound had evolved from grunge/rock to soft rock and the romantic acoustic tune “You and Me” became one of their hottest releases of the year, maintaining a consecutive 62-week streak on the Billboard Top 100. The song appeared on popular American shows like Grey’s Anatomy.

After touring, Lifehouse delivered album “Who We Are” in 2007. The band has a magic ability to consistently produce catchy, screen-ready hits and has expanded to both the advertising world and film (i.e. “Broken” on the soundtrack of “The Time Traveler’s Wife”). During the years 2008-10 Lifehouse took a break from touring and spent the hiatus in the studio writing 35 songs, culminating in the 2010 release of “Smoke and Mirrors”. By this time, Lifehouse had collaborated with other artists such as Chris Daughtry and rapper Kevin Rudolf in their “half live/half studio” production. This major project was released as a two-disc deluxe album.

We all recognize their songs because the lyrics are always relatable and timeless. Years later, Lifehouse songs are the some of the top downloaded songs on iTunes and most watched music videos online. Their consistency and honesty, great performances, and charisma characterize them as one of the most talented and reliable artists of the century.

Lifehouse were just sensational!!

I have been a fan of the band and their music since their first album (which in itself is a masterful collection of work)and to see them live was just fantastic and completed a remarkable turn of events.

I was recently on holidays in the US and whilst there I found out that Lifehouse were playing a gig in New York, sadly though I was moving on with my travels just 2 days prior to them arriving in the Big Apple and as they rarely travelled to Australia over the years, I really thought I'd missed my chance.

Astonishingly though, upon my return to Perth, I was by chance looking at upcoming concerts and low and behold who should be touring the world and including not only Australia but my own city as well - Lifehouse!! I just couldn't believe my luck, hence I was straight online to buy a ticket.

I was absolutely impressed with their professionalism, the sound was terrific and although they played a few new songs, it was so refreshing to see a band come and play the hits and the fan favourites. I don't like wholesale changes that some bands make to their best songs and Lifehouse was true to it's fans by not messing about with such and played them like they should and the way we the fans all love.

The concert fulfilled a dream and I just hope I get the opportunity to see them again one day - I do know for sure that I'd be more than happy to travel to do that!

Lifehouse has to be one of the best bands to see live in concert. Their music and performance is awe-inspiring to say the least.

Their music is so beautiful and Jason Wade's lead vocals are heartbreakingly exquisite. His voice is smooth and emotional – but raw too: it evokes such an emotional response from me and seemingly without fail from the audiences that they perform in front of.

Their song "You and Me" is so touching and so powerful, it really brings a tear to my eyes to hear and see them sing it live. Lifehouse have something about them that makes them so accessible and so lovely.

I always say that their songs are always the perfect romantic "date night" songs because their lyrics are very cute and adorable! I love how loyal their fans are and how everyone in the crowd goes crazy to hear their beloved artist perform. It's quite touching and makes me feel good that there are bands with such a fanbase. I'm loving the way they sing to their audience, capturing their hearts with their lyrics and lovely music. It's altogether wonderful.

Lifehouse has some sweet songs and some really good lyrics and they sound so good live in person I think anyone who goes to see them would be impressed.

A sincere and devoted live act, American rock outfit Lifehouse continue to tour tirelessly for their devoted fan base who in return continue to sell out the band's shows in record numbers. The band has been consistently recording and touring material since their formation in 1999 and despite not achieving commercial success in the UK, their melodic rock has earned them a solid cult-like fan base.

As they take to the stage, the audience greets the trio fondly and are prepared to sing along in mass union to opening track 'All In'. The band sounds slick, clearly the hectic touring schedule has allowed them to really practice and know their material. Older singles such as 'Spin' have been reworked and developed and now sound fresh and new.

After a run of guitar lead rock, the band disappears shortly before lead singer Jason Wade returns with acoustic guitar to perform the remainder of the gig near to acapella. The sparse stage setup allow the vocals to command attention and sincere renditions of 'Hanging By A Moment' and 'Everything' keeps the audience engaged. The applause the band receives as they leave is clear indication they are always welcome in the UK.

I've seen Lifehouse in concert three times now and I'm never disappointed. I've been lucky to see them each time in a smallish venue where the acoustics are awesome and it feels like a personalized performance. Their energy is so infectious and they engage with the audience to get everyone energized and pumped up. I spent half of the performance on my feet with everyone else in the venue singing and swaying along with Jason and the band. Jason jumped off stage several times and went around high fiving and shaking hands with audience members which was so awesome to see, even if I didn't personally get to high five him. The band finished their set but at the cheers of the audience they came back out to perform three more songs which meant they performed for a full hour and a half. They performed not only their popular songs, but also older and newer songs. Absolutely love seeing them perform and anytime I can see them I will continue to do so!

Great night. Band seemed well rested, energized, and put on a great show. Song list was awesome, good mix of old and new, with a U2 Cover thrown in (Pride), which Bryce (Bassist) sang lead did a great job with!

Lifehouse were AWESOME. Played tracks from new album but also many older tracks. Their music live was unbelievably good (many bands don't sound as good) & they got a great atmosphere going.

Raglans were on first & also rocked. Amazing songs, tight rythmns & gave it their all.

We saw Lifehouse and Switchfoot in Dallas at Southside Ballroom and at House of Blues Houston. Two great shows at nice clean friendly venues. Switchfoot was a surprise bonus for us, as we became fans, amazing artist and guys. Lifehouse as always was wondeful, great musicians and showmen, loved every moment of both shows. Lifehouse fans for Life!

What an amazing concert. The sound was superb and Lifehouse sound exactly the same live as they do in all their CDs. They played a really nice range of songs from their earliest stuff to their latest. A really good amount of songs too. Wouldn't have had them change a thing. Highly recommended band to go see.

Awesome. Finally seeing them after 20 years of trying to catch their show. All the old hits were played in an intimate live music venue. Great sound and stage lighting. Glad they kept it to simple old school rock with all their radio and fan hits. They even sand my fav song Everything.

The concert was absolutely amazing!!! Great vocals and awesome line-up. Can't wait for, and would love for them to do their own Australian tour soon and not just be the supporting act.

Animal rescue icon Lee Asher will return to Florida in May for three speaking engagements.

Asher, who was born in New York but raised in South Florida, will speak in Jacksonville, Orlando and Clearwater. The appearances are of Asher's "Unlock your super power" tour. Asher's talks will take place right after the Memorial Day weekend.

"Through compelling stories of overcoming adversity, heartfelt anecdotes about embracing the growth that comes out of tragedy, and a wealth of knowledge about the world of animal rescue , Lee captivates audiences and encourages them to join the movement to be their best self," read a description of the tour on the Asher House Facebook page.

Asher spoke in Boca Raton at Lynn University in November.

Who is Lee Asher of 'My Pack Life' and what is The Asher House?

Asher, 35, starred in a 2022 reality TV series called "My Pack Life."

Today, Asher cares for an estimated 200 dogs, cats, horses, llamas and other animals at three privately run Asher House sanctuaries in Oregon.

He shares the stories of the animals he rescues in emotion-packed videos accessed by 6.3 million people on Facebook and 1.6 million followers each on Instagram and TikTok plus 593,000 subscribers on YouTube.

How did Lee Asher get into the animal rescue business?

Asher struggled with severe attention deficit disorder as a youth growing up in South Florida.

During a recent appearance at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Asher spoke of desperation "to fit in" and feeling "very different" from his peers whom he watched succeed and thrive. The struggles worsened, and after a serious bullying incident, Asher was forced to change schools.

At about the age of 12, he said, he began visiting a Broward County animal shelter where he found consolation, and kinship, with the dogs and cats in the kennels.

"When I was able to be with the dogs, and they would go from being scared in a corner to tail-wagging and me petting them through the kennel and I could see them happy; seeing them happy just completely took all my pain away," Asher recalled.

Just a Few of the Biggest Concert Tours of 2024, from Olivia Rodrigo to Bad Bunny

Listening to your favorite musician at home is fun, but there's nothing quite like the experience of singing along with them, and tons of more fans, live. And as luck would have it, 2024 is shaping up to be a massive year for some of the world's top musical acts, so chances are your favorite performer might be stopping at a city near you soon.

Ahead, we rounded up some of the biggest concert tours of 2024, ranging from Taylor Swift's mega-popular Eras Tour to Drake and J. Cole's exciting It's All A Blur Tour - Big as the What?—set to kick off this winter. You can also expect tour dates from classic icons like Stevie Nicks, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, and more.

1) Taylor Swift

Undoubtedly one of the biggest concert tours ever, Taylor Swift's Eras Tour will continue right through 2024. The international leg of the tour kicked off in Japan, where she played four shows in Tokyo. She'll also stop in Melbourne, Singapore, Paris, Madrid, London, Milan, and more before returning to the States to play in the fall.

There's nothing like seeing T. Swift IRL, but don't fret if you're unable to nab tickets—the Eras Tour movie is now available to stream from the comfort of your home.

2) Olivia Rodrigo

This is not a drill—"Drivers License" singer Olivia Rodrigo will be hitting the road on tour starting at the end of February. The Guts World Tour runs from February through mid-August and has dates in Nashville, Toronto, Chicago, and New York City, among others. Even cooler? Rodrigo will have a stacked list of special guests—like PinkPantheress, Remi Wolf, The Breeders, and Chappell Roan—with her.

3) Red Hot Chili Peppers

Did you hear the good news? The Red Hot Chili Peppers have extended their global tour through summer 2024. The buzzy stadium tour, which kicked off in June 2022, will now run until July 2024 and bring the California-based band to places like Los Angeles, Tampa, Toronto, and Salt Lake City.

4) Bad Bunny

It's fitting that "Monaco" rapper Bad Bunny titled his tour Most Wanted —it's slated to be one of the year's hottest tours. Planned to help promote his latest studio album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana , Most Wanted will kick off in Salt Lake City on February 21 and run through May 26.

5) Billy Joel

If you haven't yet seen Billy Joel perform live, there's still time! The Piano Man has added more tour dates to his schedule, stopping in cities like Tampa, New York, Denver, and St. Louis this year. Even more exciting? He'll share the stage with fellow iconic performers Sting and Stevie Nicks for some of these dates.

Mitski recently announced that she's expanding her North American tour dates , and we couldn't be more excited. The months-long tour, which supports her 2023 studio album The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We, has a long list of stops, including Miami Beach, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, and Paris.

There's nothing quite like a Madonna concert, that's for sure. The singer's Celebration Tour , which started last October, continues straight through the spring with dates in Seattle, San Francisco, Mexico City, and more. Besides her eye-catching sets, chart-topping songs, and impressive choreography, concertgoers also get a glimpse of the performer's fantastic costumes, which include looks from Versace and Jean Paul Gaultier.

8) Bleachers

The New Jersey-founded rock band, which is fronted by Jack Antonoff—known for producing albums for top acts like Taylor Swift, Lorde, and Lana Del Rey—not only has announced a new album but a new tour , too. The tour will start in the UK in March, ending fittingly in the band's home state of New Jersey in mid-June. 9) Nicki Minaj

Nicki fans rejoice: the rapper and singer might be coming to a city near you soon as part of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour. The massive tour will include performances in Brooklyn, Oakland, and Baltimore, with stops at Dreamville Festival and Rolling Loud California along the way.

10) Blink 182

Live out all of your nineties and early aughts pop-punk dreams with one of Blink 182's One More Time Tour dates. The tour, which supports the band's ninth studio album, One More Time..., will bring the trio to cities all over the globe, including Sydney, Santiago, Portland, and Boston. The tour's supporting act is Pierce the Veil, which is also worth checking out.

11) Stevie Nicks

The oh-so-magical Stevie Nicks continues her touring streak with a bunch of 2024 concert dates . Set to begin in Atlantic City, NJ on February 10, Nicks will visit a dozen cities throughout the U.S. this year, such as New Orleans, Omaha, and Chicago. "Let's keep this party going in 2024," the singer-songwriter posted on her Instagram in September to announce the newly added tour dates.

12) The 1975

The 1975 is showing no signs of slowing down. The British band, famous for hits like "Somebody Else" and "Robbers," has extended their 2023 tour through 2024. Titled Still...At Their Very Best , the 22-date tour will open in Glasgow on February 8 and conclude in Amsterdam on March 24.

13) Drake and J. Cole

Rap greats Drake and J. Cole come together for the It's All a Blur Tour – Big As the What? which is guaranteed to be a good time. Drake, fresh off his 2023 It's All a Blur tour with 21 Savage, is set to hit dozens of cities starting in February, many of which J. Cole will also be in tow for. Scoop up tickets ASAP, as Drake's shows are known to sell out.

14) Janet Jackson

Superstar Janet Jackson is also extending her 2023 tour, Together Again , into 2024 with dates in Anaheim, Austin, New Orleans, and Hartford. Even cooler? Jackson's supporting act is the 2000s southern rap legend Nelly.

15) Rolling Stones

If you've ever dreamed of seeing the Rolling Stones perform live in person, now's your chance. The iconic rockers, who released their studio album Hackney Diamonds this past fall, are returning on the road for a 16-date tour with shows throughout the United States and Canada. Concertgoers can expect a mix of new tunes and Stones classics.

16) Bruce Springsteen

Famous for countless listenable hits like "Born to Run" and "Glory Days," Bruce Springsteen is set to embark on a massive world tour this year with his band, The E Street Band. The much-anticipated tour will take the Boss and his crew to cities such as Phoenix, San Diego, Dublin, and Madrid, from March through November.

17) John Mayer

Be sure to catch John Mayer's solo tour this year, which will bring the guitarist and crooner to cities throughout Europe. This leg, an extension of his popular 2023 solo tour, will kick off in Stockholm on March 13 and finish in Dublin on March 29.

18) Shania Twain

Okay, this one is technically a residency , but we're excited nonetheless. Shania Twain, most known for her incredible outfits (her hooded leopard print look, anyone?) and hits like "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" is setting up shop in Vegas starting May 10. Twain's residency will take place at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood on and off throughout December 2024.

All good things must come to an end. The Eagles, known for "Hotel California" and other amazing rock songs, began their final concert tour this winter. It launched in Phoenix on January 20, with March 16 as its last date in the United States. Eagles fans won't want to miss this one.

20) Alanis Morisette: The Triple Moon Tour

Alanis Morisette joins forces with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts for their 2024 Triple Moon Tour , which has dates in North America and Canada. This tour is a great one to catch this summer, as it's slated to run from June through August.
