KNOCKED LOOSE Announces Spring 2024 North American Tour, BLABBERMOUTH.NET Presale

KNOCKED LOOSE has announced a spring 2024 North American tour. Support on the trek, which will launch after KNOCKED LOOSE's appearance at the Sick New World festival in Las Vegas on April 27, will come from SHOW ME THE BODY , LOATHE and SPEED .

A special BLABBERMOUTH.NET presale will begin on Wednesday, January 31 at 10:00 a.m. EST and end on Thursday, February 1 at 10:00 p.m. local time. When prompted, type in the presale code "KLBLABBER" using the individual ticketing links below to access tickets before the general public. General on-sale will be Friday, February 2 at 10 a.m. local.

Last June, KNOCKED LOOSE released new singles "Deep In The Willow" and "Everything Is Quiet Now" . At the time, KNOCKED LOOSE frontman Bryan Garris stated about the tracks: " 'Deep In The Willow' and 'Everything Is Quiet Now' are a reminder that we are heavy, intense, and extreme. Some elements come and go, but those will never change. After 'A Tear In The Fabric Of Life' , we were inspired to see how much art we could incorporate moving forward — which led us to a style of video we've never attempted or approached. Taking myself specifically far outside of my comfort zone and pushing the boundaries on how I've been seen in the past was a creative experience I will never forget. This video wouldn't be what it is without the collaboration with Eric Richter , someone we've admired for a while. And the songs wouldn't be what they are without [producer] Drew Fulk , a new friend and creative ear in the entire process."

"Deep In The Willow" and "Everything Is Quiet Now" were the first new KNOCKED LOOSE singles since the release of the band's 2021 EP and head-turning short film "A Tear In The Fabric Of Life" . The release garnered worldwide acclaim from Rolling Stone , Pitchfork , NPR , The Needle Drop , The Guardian , The Fader , Stereogum , Decibel , Revolver , so on and established KNOCKED LOOSE as a staple across modern punk, hardcore and metal scenes.

In 2023, KNOCKED LOOSE stunned Coachella goers with their unforgettable performance which claimed the biggest circle pit in the festival's history.

Never heard of Knocked Loose before I attended a Beartooth concert in Seattle. Absolutely incredible set. I was there for the headliner Beartooth and the first opener (Sylar) but these guys were hands down the most memorable act of the night. They gave it everything, and their energy absolutely took the crowd by storm. It was a performance I'm really happy to have been a part of. They made me a fan that night and I've been listening to them ever since. Hope to see them again soon, when I actually know all their songs going into it!

Badass!!!! This show kicked our ass so good live 2nd time we saw these guys and they were even better this time around they were HEADLINERS got a full show of kick ass all the bands were aggressive as hell and amazing live so great from start to end

It never ceases to amaze me how great knocked loose are performing live, especially with Kublai Khan. 2 particularly hardcore bands make for a fantastic show! They're a must if they're in your area.

It was like Fight Club. Complete hardcore insanity. I survived! Oldham County in the house. Cannot wait to catch varials at The Glass House in May. For the women in hardcore... ARF ARF

Knocked Loose have announced a Spring 2024 North American tour. The outing promises to be one of the strongest hardcore packages of the year, featuring a stacked support lineup of Show Me the Body , Loathe , and Speed.

Following a set at Sick New World fest on April 27th in Las Vegas , Knocked Loose will start the tour proper on April 29th in Detroit with the aforementioned support acts. The extensive outing wraps up on June 9th in St. Petersburg, Florida.

A Live Nation ticket pre-sale for select dates begins Tuesday (January 30th) at noon local time using the code SPOTLIGHT , while general ticket sales start Friday (February 2nd) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster . Fans can also look for deals or get tickets to sold-out dates via StubHub , where your purchase is 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s Fan Protect program.

Prior to the North American trek, Knocked Loose will embark on a European/UK outing beginning in mid-February (get tickets to those dates here ).

KNOCKED LOOSE announce massive 2024 headlining tour

In 2023,  Knocked Loose  conquered Coachella, Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza, and set pits ablaze while supporting Motionless in White's titanic stadium tour. 

This year, they're back in the headliner position. The Louisville metallic hardcore giants have announced a massive North American headlining tour that's going down later this spring. 

They'll be joined on the trek by NYHC weirdos  Show Me the Body , U.K. nu-gazers Loathe , and Australian hardcore maniacs Speed  — which already feels like a legendary lineup of bands who are all having a moment concurrently. 

The tour kicks off April 29th in Detroit at the Russell Industrial Center, which is where the DIY-run Tied Down hardcore festival takes place every year (meaning there likely won't be a barricade for that show). 

From there, they'll snake throughout the U.S. and up into Canada before wrapping up June 9th in St. Petersburg, Florida. 

Tickets go on sale Friday February 2nd at 10 a.m. local time, and you can see the full list of dates below.

This week, Knocked Loose added 2024 spring tour dates.

New concerts are scheduled from late April into June at mid-sized venues across North America. The opening acts for the new shows will be Show Me the Body, Loathe, and Speed. Next month, Knocked Loose head out on a tour across Europe and will return back to the States in April for a festival performance at Sick New World in Las Vegas.

A Tear expands on the narratives hinted at on A Different Shade of Blue , their highly lauded 2019 full-length that cemented them as one of heavy music’s most prominent acts. With quarantine upending their extensive touring schedule — “we’ve kind of been consistently on the road since 2014,” says Garris — the  group found themselves in early 2020 sequestered near their hometown of Louisville, in Oldham County, Kentucky. By June, they were hunkered down in a cabin in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, focused on writing a concept album. By the end of September they had finished recording A Tear in the Fabric of Life .

Musically, the songs were written in order and speak to each other. On the opener, “Where Light Divides the Holler,” ambient sounds of a radio switching give way to a harsh, punishing breakdown.  “Permanent,” the closer, is crushing, and ends in a majestic, almost soundtrack-like ring-out. In between there are new elements — guitars droning out, radio interludes, vocal-only suites — and the immediate heaviness listeners have come to expect from Knocked Loose . It’s hardcore, filtered through what Garris says is a more prominent death metal influence. The new sounds the band never tried before have the goal, guitarist Isaac Hale says, of making everything sound “more extreme and more abrasive.”

Which is saying something. Young, but accomplished — along with Garris and Hale, there’s Kevin Otten (bass) and Kevin “Pacsun” Kaine (drums) , everyone in their mid to late twenties — the band’s been trading on heaviness for a while. “We’ve written a lot of songs,” says Hale, “and a lot of breakdowns.” Their discography — along with Blue , there’s Laugh Tracks , from 2016, both on Pure Noise , as well as a demo and a handful of singles — is full of them. Every record up to A Tear has been very much hardcore, building off its predecessor, adding some metal and higher emotional stakes. More growth means more heaviness. Says Hale, “nothing gets taken away.”

So too with A Tear , which is a massive progression, but not a departure. The end result feels like a stress test: six songs that speak to each other in a language that’s equal parts Phil Spector and death metal and that balance the tension between technical mastery and catchiness. This is Knocked Loose , distilled, and taking a leap.

Knocked Loose + Gatecreeper Announce Fall 2021 U.S. Tour Dates

Kentucky metalcore luminaries Knocked Loose and Arizona death metal forerunners Gatecreeper  team up to take back the road on a month-long tour across the United States as summer turns to fall this year.

It's the first extensive stateside trek for both bands since the COVID-19 pandemic curbed most large concerts and tours starting in 2020. Supporting bands Magnitude and Kharma will join the two headliners on the run that begins on Sept. 3 in Chicago and covers the country until it comes to a close in Santa Cruz, Calif., on Oct. 8. Stops include Knocked Loose's and Gatecreeper's appearances at Slipknot 's Knotfest Iowa .

"First tour back," Knocked Loose said on Twitter on Wednesday (June 16). "Small rooms. No barricades. Friends. Two nights in certain cities."

Knocked Loose are technically still on the backstretch promoting 2019's A Different Shade of Blue , the Oldham County act's second studio album following their breakthrough 2016 debut, Laugh Tracks . The timeline of Gatecreeper's discography so far is similar — the Southwestern headbangers released their sophomore effort, Deserted , in 2019, following a heralded 2016 first album called Sonoran Depravation .

The late spring trek will feature supporting sets from Loathe, Show Me the Body and Aussie hardcore hitters, Speed.

Due to dominate with a healthy EU/Uk headlining run next month with special guests Deafheaven and Headbussa, Louisville hardcore champions Knocked Loose have now unveiled their domestic touring plans and the itinerary is comprehensive. 

Unveiling plans for a 30-date headlining trek touching down in key markets in both the US and Canada, Knocked Loose will top a walloping bill that assembles a diverse showcase of some of the most incendiary bands in space of contemporary heavy music and hardcore. 

Kicking off April 29th in Detroit, MI and closing out June 9th in St. Petersburg, FL., the Knocked Loose North American headlining tour will include support from New York's Show Me the Body, Liverpool fixtures Loathe and Sydney's own clobbering unit, Speed. 

The announcement of the band's headlining run follows an extensive touring slate in 2023 that saw Knocked Loose make a seismic impact for heavy music. The band's 2023 Coachella appearance went viral, inciting stage dives and circle pits in the least likely of places. The band would then go onto play a big part in the success of the Touring the End of the World fall run, supporting Motionless In White and riding out with After the Burial and Alpha Wolf. 

Additionally, 2023 saw the release of new music for the first time since Knocked's Loose lauded 2021 EP, A Tear in the Fabric of Life. Delivering the potent pair of singles in  “ Deep in the Willow” / “Everything is Quiet Now ”, the unveiling also showcased the versatility of Bryan Garris, as the band's frontman took on the role of director for the accompanying music videos along with Eric Richter. 

Tickets for Knocked Loose's North American tour are set to go on sale starting February 2nd at 10am local time. KNOTFEST.com premium members will have access to an exclusive pre-sale event starting January 31st at 10am ET and closing out February 1st at 10pm local time.
