Le château Tour Bicheau est un domaine viticole familial de 25 ha , situé en Gironde. Il fait partie des propriétés au cœur de l’ appellation des Graves . Le château vous accueille pour des visites et des dégustations de nos vins des Graves , l’une des appellations des célèbres vins de Bordeaux. Le château Tour Bicheau, une histoire familiale

Le domaine appartient à la famille Daubas depuis le début des années 1900. André fit l’acquisition du domaine et construire le château actuel à l’aide de pierres extraites des carrières de la rive droite de la Garonne. Son fils Richard et sa petite-fille Jacqueline ont fait évoluer le domaine, en plantant notamment le vignoble en rouge . La 4ème génération, représentée par Hugues Daubas, étendit les terres du domaine et modernisa le chai .

La passion du vin

Patrick Daubas, actuel propriétaire, est passionné par son métier et s’efforce de transmettre son plaisir dans chacune de ses bouteilles. Il allie le savoir-faire transmis par sa famille avec les techniques de l’œnologie moderne. Le vignoble est aujourd’hui en deuxième année de conversion vers l’ agriculture biologique , initiée en 2019. Les vignes, gérées dans le respect de l’environnement, font l’objet de soins attentifs. Les rendements sont strictement contrôlés et une vinification traditionnelle participe à créer des vins authentiques, purs et soyeux.

Introduction : The history of Château Tour Bicheau begins in 1876, when flat-bottomed river barges were used to deliver the local stone which would become the Château’s famous tower. Five generations of winemakers have worked this land, adhering to a simple philosophy: great wines come from great grapes. Rigorous attention to details and constant technical evolution have established the outstanding reputation that Château Tour Bicheau enjoys among wine-lovers all over the world..  

Region : Bordeaux Appellation : Grands Vins de Graves Grape Variety : 80% Merlot   – 20% Cabernet Sauvignon Colour : Red Agricultural practices : Organic conversion ABV : 14% Ageing : All the vats are in stainless steel in to facilitate temperature control. The alcoholic fermentation occurs between 27 to 30 °C thanks to a thermic regulation system. The maceration allows the extraction of the tannins and of the colour of the pomace, which stays in contact with the wine for three weeks. Tasting notes: A wine respectful of the environment, Beautiful dark red dress, the nose slowly opens towards a powerful bouquet, mixing fruity notes (jam of small red berries) and spicy notes. Round and charming structure rests on small silky tannins.   Serving temperature : 16 °C Food pairing : Enriched by toasty and vanilla aromas, this wine will be of a choice alliance on red meat and game.
