The Pink Parking is a multi-storey within a short walk to the east of the stadium on Lakeside Way, with capacity for 1,675 spaces. How can I book parking on an event day at Wembley Stadium?

The Wembley Official Parking website lets you reserve parking spaces for both event and non-event days. After booking your preferred car park and confirming your car details, you'll receive a map and postcode of your exact parking location. Bag Policy, Prohibited Items, Cashless Payments, and More

For security reasons, only bags that are smaller than an A4 piece of paper (H 297mm, W 210mm, and D 210mm) are allowed inside the stadium. Items you buy on an event day will come in a clear plastic bag, which is permitted inside the stadium. If you purchase merchandise from one of the retail outlets inside the stadium or at the stadium store outside the stadium, the bag will be sealed. Several items are also strictly prohibited at the stadium, including large umbrellas, selfie sticks, pushchairs, food and drink, large-bodied cameras, alcohol, aluminium and glass drink containers, plastic bottles over 500ml, weapons and tools, and more. You should also note that Wembley Stadium is now a cashless venue. This means that you will need to bring a debit or credit card with you if you plan to make any purchases during your visit. None of the kiosks at Wembley Stadium will accept cash, so plan accordingly.

Our passenger descriptions are designed to help you choose the right ticket for yourself or your fellow travellers.

Adult (16+) and Children (3-15)

Children under 14 cannot travel alone unless accompanied by an adult (16+). Please note, you may be required to show proof of age at any point during your journey. Failure to do so, may result in the full adult fare being charged.

Children (3-15)

Children under 14 cannot travel alone unless accompanied by a responsible adult (16+).

Disabled Children

Should be booked as Children. If they are travelling in a wheelchair or require assistance, please call our Assisted Travel Helpline.

We strongly recommend that you bring a car seat appropriate to your child's age, but ask you to take responsibility to fit the seat.

Booster Seats

Children aged between approximately 4-11 years old, or up to 150cm tall, may use booster seats. We carry a limited number onboard most coaches.

If travelling with a child, you may be required to show proof of age when buying tickets or at any point during your journey. Failure to do so may result in the child being required to pay the full fare for the journey on that day.

Children aged between approximately 4 years and 11 years or up to 150cm tall may use booster seats, we carry a limited number onboard most coaches along with our comfort fit seat belts.

Adult fares are applicable to all passengers aged between of 26 and 59 inclusive.

Child 0 - 12 inclusive

Children aged 12 or under travelling on any European service must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

Unaccompanied children will not be carried

Young persons (13 - 25)

Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to travel on any European service unless accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

Young persons aged 16 or 17 years can travel alone on European services but only if they have a letter of authority from a parent or guardian.

Senior (60 and over)

Passengers aged 60 and over are entitled to receive a small discount on European journeys. On European journeys a 50% discount is given to carers, please call us on 08717 818177 to book.

Wembley Stadium London: Which underground line do I take, and which tube station is closest?

Concert goers heading to Wembley Stadium just need to hop on the Tube.

London’s Wembley Stadium is based in the west of the city away from the hustle and bustle of the inner parts although visitors can still easily get there by Tube.

Whether you’re tapping in using your contactless card or using a day travel card on the underground, the nearest underground station from the venue is just over a 10 walk away.

Navigating across the capital’s underground can be hard if you’re new to the city. While many Londoners will be familiar with the journey to the notorious venue, those visiting the city may not be so sure.

We break down what the nearest underground station to the iconic Wembley Stadium is and what line it is on.

Which tube station is closest to London’s Wembley Stadium?

The stadium venue is a brief stroll from Wembley Park underground station which is a 12 minute walk away.

Once you exit the station you will walk down the steps to the Olympic Way path which leads directly to Wembley Stadium.

Which underground line do I take to get to London’s Wembley Stadium?

Wembley Park station is on both the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines.  If you are travelling in from outside of those lines, you can plan your journey using either the TFL Planner or Citymapper .

Wembley Stadium access

The game kicks-off at 5.15pm and general admission to the stadium will be available from 3.15pm. Doors for hospitality will open one hour earlier at 2.15pm.

Please make sure you arrive at the stadium in good time to assist with security protocols. Additional safety and security measures will be in place, with full details below. Children (14 years and under) must be accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of two will not be permitted into the stadium. Please refer to your ticket for your turnstile colour zone. The quickest route to your turnstile entry point is by following the signage for the colour zone. Please ensure you enter via the correct turnstile.

The stadium provides a range of services for those with specialist access requirements including a shuttle service from Wembley Park Station. More information can be found here

Anyone without a ticket should not travel to the game .

No-street-drinking zone

Brent Council enforces a no-street-drinking zone on Olympic Way and the surrounding area for all events at Wembley Stadium.

This is part of the current Public Space Order Protection (PSOP) in place around the stadium on event days. More information on the order can be found here

Fans drinking on Olympic Way and the surrounding streets will be asked to hand over their alcohol and enforcement action may be considered. These steps are to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

There is a range of bars, a fan zone and restaurants available in and around Wembley where you can enjoy a meal or drink before the match.

Fan zone and designated pubs

Both teams will have dedicated fan zone areas where supporters have the chance to join fellow fans to enjoy a drink, including alcohol, food and a DJ. They are an ideal place to soak up the pre-match party atmosphere. The Chelsea fan zone is Arena Square, Engineers Way, HA9 0AA (opposite Wembley Arena), shown on the map below. It will be open from 11am and will stop serving alcohol one hour before kick-off. Supporters will need to present a valid stadium ticket to enter the area which has a limited capacity. The stadium’s bag policy (see below) also applies to anyone visiting the fan zone.

There is a list of pubs and bars in the Wembley area designated for ticket holders in the Chelsea section (west side) to enjoy a pre-match drink or meal (please book early to avoid disappointment):

Fans in the lower tier are encouraged to be in their places 15 minutes before kick-off to take part in forming a mosaic in the Chelsea end. You will notice sheets on the seats so as both teams walk out of the tunnel, please hold up the sheet at head height. Keep it their throughout the player line-up, until kick-off. To create the best atmosphere before the match begins, we encourage everyone to play their part.

Additional safety and security measures

Wembley Stadium will have additional safety and security enhancements in place this weekend. The measures form part of the stadium’s preparations for this year’s Champions League final.

Additional ticket checks Fans will be asked to show their tickets to stewards in advance of entering the stadium at all entrance points on to the stadium concourse. Please have your tickets ready to show stewards, for access to the concourses, and then again at turnstiles.

Fences and barriers Security lanes will be used to direct the flow of people and ensure fans enter the stadium via the correct zone. Please follow the colour-coded signage to your turnstile or ask a steward if you are unsure where to go.

Working with the Police Wembley Stadium works closely with the Police for every event, and it operates a zero-tolerance policy for any form of illegal, anti-social, offensive and discriminatory conduct.

Anyone found to have committed offences of this nature faces being refused access to, or ejection from the stadium with potential of stadium bans, football banning orders and criminal prosecutions for any perpetrators.

Public Space Protection Order Brent Council will be carrying out extra patrols to enforce the Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) which exists around Wembley. The PSPO prohibits any street drinking, ticket touting and the use of pyrotechnic equipment in and around the stadium on event days. Anyone caught contravening the order could face an on-the-spot fine of up to £100.

Arrive early Fans are encouraged to arrive at the stadium 60 to 90 minutes before kick-off to allow enough time to assist with the security protocols. Anyone attempting to tailgate or gain illicit access to the stadium will be apprehended and reported to the Police. All events at Wembley Stadium have a strong police presence, and search dogs with handlers will also be patrolling around the stadium to identify and apprehend anyone with illegal or prohibited items, including pyrotechnics and banned substances.

Restricted bag policy

Wembley Stadium operates a restricted bag policy. Each person can only bring one small bag into the stadium, and it must not be bigger than A4 size:

height – 297mm (11.7 inches) - width – 210mm (8.27 inches) - depth – 210mm (8.27 inches)

Please note, this applies to the overall bag size. Bags that are half-full and folded over to reduce their size will not be accepted. Anyone carrying bags that do not meet the criteria above will not be allowed into the stadium.

Pyrotechnics

The use of pyrotechnics, flares and smoke devices inside or outside Wembley Stadium is illegal and prohibited. Anyone caught carrying or using pyrotechnical equipment inside the stadium will be immediately ejected from the stadium, banned from future events and dealt with by police.

Those caught using pyrotechnic equipment anywhere outside of the stadium will be in breach of the PSPO order and face enforcement action. More information here

Persistent standing

Persistent standing during a match at Wembley Stadium is strictly forbidden (unless with a ticket for the safe-standing area) and may result in ejection from the ground. Persistent standing not only compromises crowd safety, but also affects the matchday experience for fellow spectators, especially children and elderly people.

Anti-social and discriminatory behaviour

Chelsea Football Club and Wembley Stadium operate a zero-tolerance policy on any form of anti-social and discriminatory behaviour. If you witness any anti-social or discriminatory behaviour on the day, text HELP to 66566 or contact your nearest steward. Anyone found guilty of anti-social, offensive or discriminatory conduct will be ejected from the stadium and reported to the authorities.

Offensive tragedy-related chanting, gesturing and displaying of abusive messages is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. People who are found to have committed offences face stadium bans and potential criminal prosecution.

New for 2024 - On level one the stadium has introduced a new frictionless Tap Bar, allowing refreshments to be accessed quicker and more conveniently. The bar deploys the latest technology to enable customers to simply tap their card on entry, pick up what they need and then walk out – without the need to queue or pay at a dedicated paypoint.

Wembley Stadium benefits from easy access to three rail/London Underground stations. These are:

Supporters are encouraged to plan their journeys in advance to avoid disappointment or delay to their travel. All those travelling by rail should plan to arrive at Wembley stations no later than one hour prior to kick-off, to allow sufficient time to walk to and enter the stadium.

Post-match, fans are asked to leave the ground promptly and avoid opting for the last train of the day. Please allow for longer journey times from Wembley Stadium to London Euston station due to crowd safety controls for safe station access.

Anthony Joshua confirms next fight date at Wembley and names four possible opponents

Anthony Joshua has revealed his next fight will take place in September at Wembley Stadium in London .

The two-time heavyweight champion racked up four wins in less than 12 months against Jermaine Franklin , Robert Helenius, Otto Wallin and Francis Ngannou , back to his devastating best after knocking out the former UFC champion in March.

After two fights in Saudi Arabia, the 34-year-old is now set to return to the capital and headline at Wembley, the setting for his famous 2017 victory over Wladimir Klitschko.

“Whenever they tell me there’s a date, you know I’ll be ready 100 per cent,’ Joshua told talkSPORT.

‘It’s gonna be in London, Wembley Stadium. This is what I’m being told. If that’s what they say, they normally back their word so let’s go with that.

‘Wembley, September 20 or 21.’

For now, ‘AJ’ will now sit back and wait for the dust to settle in what is a huge summer in the heavyweight division. Following the historic undisputed title fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk , four of the division’s biggest hitters meet on the Matchroom vs Queensberry show on 1 June.

Daniel Dubois will take on Filip Hrgovic with Deontay Wilder in action against Zhilei Zhang on the same night.

Joshua believes whoever emerges from those fights ‘looking the best’ will be lined up for him by Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh – with hopes the Fury fight could follow.

‘On June 1 in Saudi Arabia they’ve got the 5 vs 5 card,’ Joshua said.

‘You’ve got Filip Hrgovic vs Daniel Dubois, and you’ve got Zhilei Zhang vs Deontay Wilder.

;So providing one of those looks good – the one who looks the best, His Excellency Turki Alalshikh said to me, ‘I want you to fight [him].’

‘So out of that pool, I believe that’s who I’m gonna be fighting, one of those. We’re on the same page and he’s on the same page as the fans as well.

‘He’s trying to deliver what the fans want, I know they want that big fight with Tyson Fury and he’s working on it.

‘But Fury’s got his obligations with Oleksandr Usyk so I’ve gotta make sure I stay focused and disciplined, keep steamrolling through opponents so I can get closer and closer to having the opportunity of me vs Tyson Fury.’

If you thought the Tottenham Hotspur supporter turnout at Wembley Stadium was incredible in their first Champions League match against Monaco, you haven’t seen anything yet. Today the club announced that it has sold out Wembley for its two remaining Champions League home matches against Bayer Leverkusen on November 2 and CSKA Moscow on December 7.

SOLD. OUT. Wembley Stadium seats 90,000 fans, and one can reasonably surmise with this announcement that the club has already released the remaining tickets they expected to come available. Earlier reports had suggested that some of Bayer Leverkusen’s away tickets would be released for general sale, as well as other blocks of tickets including television allocations. That Tottenham is making the official sold out announcement now indicates that they don’t expect any more tickets to open up through, ahem , official channels.

Wow. Tottenham didn’t quite fill Wembley against Monaco and still set three English attendance records. It looks like they’re almost certainly going to break those same records again against Bayern, and possibly a few more. It’s lit!

Abramovich funds Moscow ‘Wembley’

ROMAN ABRAMOVICH, the billionaire owner of Chelsea Football Club, is planning to build a new national football stadium in Moscow, his native city. The 50,000-seat stadium “will be Russia’s version of Wembley”, according to Mr Abramovich’s spokesperson.

Mr Abramovich will finance the construction of the stadium, which will take three years. Moscow City is to provide the land near the botanical gardens. City Hall has yet to grant final approval for the project, but Valeri Shantsev, the city’s deputy mayor, has said he supports the deal.

The stadium will be owned by the Football Union of Russia, which will refund Mr Abramovich for the cost through gate receipts. Mr Abramovich’s spokesperson said the project would cost tens of millions of dollars. “Construction costs are much

Torpedo Stadium: A living history of Soviet soccer

Torpedo Stadium—Moscow’s oldest—will soon be closed for renovation. This field, which has been owned by businessman Mikhail Prokhorov ’s ONEXIM Group since 2007, is to be transformed into a modern sports complex where, in addition to a covered stadium, there are plans to build children’s sports schools and a museum of Russian soccer.

The building may not turn out to be as big as the Barclays Center in Brooklyn (which the Russian billionaire built for his NBA team, the Brooklyn Nets ), but Torpedo fans have already expressed their concerns about the new building. The original plan was to completely demolish the stadium and develop the site as exclusive housing; however, when thousands of supporters signed a petition against the demolition of the stadium, the owners decided to preserve the sports facility.

Streltsov , Russia’s Pelè in the gulag

Torpedo Stadium is unique, in a way. There are hardly any top-level spectacles here, as the home team plays in the second soccer division. Moreover, since August 2013, the Torpedo team has had to move: The club began playing its home games in the Moscow suburb of Ramenskoye, due to high rent.

Meanwhile, the stadium on Vostochnaya Street has become a favorite training ground for the Russian national soccer team, and, in August, the two best American football teams in Russia— Black Storm and the Moscow Patriots —played each other on the local field.

The Streltsov Torpedo Stadium is not located in the most picturesque of areas: Factory chimneys and brick walls stand alongside typical dismal Soviet-era buildings. It was here that, in 1924, the workers of the ZIL car factory started the Torpedo club.

Torpedo has always been a local soccer team. The car makers were nowhere near as popular as Spartak, which enjoyed national fame, and the black-and-whites could not boast of government patronage, as Dynamo could. In some ways, this is why the residents of Moscow’s Avtozavodsky District are so devoted to their club, despite the fact that, in the 2000s, the team did not experience the best of times.

Officials downplay panic over Russia’s soccer stadiums

Problems with finance mean the club has had to rely on young players it has developed itself, and Torpedo has not been able to get back into the Premier League for the last seven years. In a world of multi-million-dollar soccer transfers, Torpedo looks like a dinosaur that has somehow managed to survive.

Torpedo Stadium has never known the glory of Luzhniki, which served as the main stadium of the 1980 Olympics and the venue for the 2008 Champions League final. The field on Vostochnaya Street has never been Moscow’s main stadium, but, for Torpedo supporters, it is a shrine. This is where Eduard Streltsov—probably the best soccer players in Soviet history, if we leave aside the great Dynamo goalkeeper Lev Yashin—played and caught fans’ imagination.

Streltsov’s story is like a Hollywood film. At the age of 16, the wunderkind from a working-class suburb of Moscow became Torpedo’s main forward; at 17, he made a triumphant debut for the Soviet national team, scoring a hat trick in his first two games; at 18, he was the top goal-scorer in the Soviet league. Tall and strong, and with a broad grin, the young man caught everyone’s attention, on the field and off it.

His contemporaries recall that Streltsov played almost like a genius: His faultless technique, combined with his superb ability to read the game, enabled him to pull off real masterpieces of soccer, time and again. In 1956, the 19-year-old Streltsov was the key player on the Soviet team at the Melbourne Olympics, where the Soviet soccer players won gold for the first time in team history.

“He seemed to have the ball on a lead, and his ball control could get him past two or three defenders,” said defender Vladimir Ponomarev, Streltsov’s teammate on the Soviet national team, in an interview with Sovetsky Sport. “He had an exceptional soccer mind. He could anticipate and work out how the attack would develop, like a computer—several moves ahead, automatically, in an instant.”

The 1958 world championship should have been a golden moment for the Russian king of soccer, but Streltsov did not get to meet the other king of soccer—Brazil’s Pele—on the Swedish field. On June 15, while the Soviet team was losing 2-0 to Brazil, Streltsov was being interrogated by investigators at Moscow’s Butyrka prison. He had been arrested on May 27, on suspicion of rape during a party at a dacha not far from the Tarasovka sports center, where the Soviet team was preparing for the tournament. Streltsov was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Arguments about how just the court’s decision was continue to this day. Some say Streltsov’s imprisonment was revenge by the KGB for his refusal to transfer to the Dynamo club, which was under the control of the special services; others link the sportsman’s drama to his refusal to marry the daughter of the iron lady of the Soviet government, the influential Yekaterina Furtseva. Doubt has been cast on many of the circumstances of that fateful night. It is likely that the truth of this story will never be known, but, in spite of everything, Streltsov will always be an idol to Torpedo fans.

Rugby in Russia: Bringing the gentleman’s game to the people

Streltsov was given early release in 1963, and, after another two years, he was allowed to return to top-level soccer. At the age of 28, Streltsov took to the field again in a black-and-white Torpedo uniform. Even after six years in prison, there was no getting away from his talent: The powerful forward again became the leader of the Torpedo front line, taking his team to the championship in 1965.

The secret of Streltsov’s popularity was not just that he played like a genius. Supporters saw him as one of their own: While he was a professional sportsman, he continued to work at the factory and live in an ordinary apartment not far from the stadium. After Streltsov’s death (he died from lung cancer in 1990), officials decided to put up a monument to the soccer player by the entrance to the field; since 1997, the stadium itself has borne his name.

Renovation will open a new chapter in the history of Streltsov Stadium. Only time will tell to what extent it will preserve its inimitable atmosphere. For the fans, however, this place will always be linked with the one man who was and remains a legend of Soviet soccer.
