Relaxing sounds, good vibes and chilled Ibiza style tunes at our Sunset Sessions.

Join us for a dip in our Outdoor Thermal area whilst watching the sun go down. DJ Idge will be on the decks from 8pm till 10pm. Receive a Sunset Cocktail upon arrival and our Spa Assistants will be serving delicious cocktails and sweet canapés in our outside Spas and infinity pools throughout the evening. These can be enjoyed whilst relaxing watching the sun dip below the Lakeland fells over Windermere.

Our indoor-outdoor pool benefits from two bubble experiences, a swan neck fountain, and views over the estate and woodland beyond.

The outside relaxation area is the perfect space to enjoy a drink to two by the log fire, or visit the Finnish sauna and experience shower.

Traditional and toasty, with windows looking out across the Estate, the Finnish sauna promotes a calming and soothing experience. With a temperature of 80°C to 100°C, the Finnish sauna is the perfect place to unwind and watch the world go by.ents and make your projects look prettier than ever before.

Visit the ice fountain immediately after using our heat experiences to stimulate circulation and strengthen the immune system.

Reaching a temperature of 45°C and a humidity of 100%, your body will heat up gently while jets of steam stimulate the blood circulation and start the detoxifying process.

With the colours of lava but not the extreme temperatures, this sauna reaches a temperature of 80°C to 100°C and offers a soothing space to sit back and relax.

Relax in a temperature between 42°C and 45°C, and a humidity of almost 100%, for comfortable perspiring without any undue stress on the body.

There are three experience showers to enjoy throughout your thermal journey, each one designed to strengthen and energise your body.

Using flavours, scents, and the healing effects of natural herbs, the steam in the sauna cabin helps to reveal the full power of these herbs and releases natural aromas.

Spa Terms & Conditions

ADMISSION AND CONDUCT:

The Company reserves the right to:

• refuse any application for membership.
• refuse admission to the Spa or its premises.
• expel any person from its premises where a person’s conduct is in the Company’s opinion injurious or detrimental to the character or reputation of the Spa or the interests of its Members, Guests or staff.

The Company in its absolute discretion and without ascribing any reasons therefore may terminate the membership of any Member, refunding the unexpired portion of their current membership. In the event of a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, no refund will be made.

The Company may refuse to accept any application for membership or renew the membership of any Member without giving any reasons therefore.

To ensure that the spa pool and surrounding area are kept peaceful and quiet, there shall be no jumping, diving or splashing in the pool. Mobile telephones and tablets must be on silent within the Spa.

We recommend no more than 3 hours using the thermal experiences at the spa.

Members and Guests are advised to undergo a medical examination prior to using the Spa.

Some of the activities available at the Spa are physically challenging and carry risks that we cannot entirely eliminate. These include the risk of personal injury. In the absence of any negligence or other breach of duty by us, participation in Spa activities is entirely at your risk.

You are responsible for using Spa equipment safely and as directed. You must behave sensibly and follow any safety instructions so as not to hurt or injure yourself or others. In the absence of any negligence or other breach of duty by us, the use of our machinery, equipment or facility is entirely at your own risk.

In the absence of any negligence or other breach of duty by us, we are not responsible for any theft, damage, destruction or loss of your property or belongings while using our facilities. Do not leave any valuables unattended, in lockers or in cars. The car park and changing facilities are not supervised or monitored

SAFETY & HYGIENE:

For reasons of hygiene and safety all Members and Guests must comply with the following:

No alcohol to be drunk before exercising or using the steam room and sauna.

Shower before and after using the Spa Pool, Sauna and Steam Room (please note that shaving is not allowed in these areas or the showers)

Only consume food and drink in The Deli or The Deli Terrace. Only food and drink purchased at Brimstone Deli to be consumed on premises.

Smoking and Vaping is not permitted in the Spa or Spa outside areas.

Clothing, swimwear or towels must not be dried in the Sauna

If under-going medication or have any ongoing medical or physical condition then consult your doctor before using any of the facilities.

Outdoor footwear and clothing is not permitted in the pool hall area.

First aid boxes are located at The Spa Reception.

On hearing the fire alarm members should immediately make their way to the nearest fire exit. Do not re-enter the building until told it is safe to do so.

All belongings to be left in The Spa lockers when using The Spa.

You must act responsibly and sensibly at all times.

You must not participate if under the influence of alcohol or non-prescription drugs.

You must follow any safety warnings or instructions displayed or given to you by a member of staff. Ask a member of staff if you are unclear.

We are not qualified to express an opinion that you are fit to safely participate. You must obtain professional or specialist advice from your doctor before participating.

DRESS:  Correct and appropriate attire must be worn for your chosen activity and at the Spa generally.

The usual Spa opening times are Monday to Sunday 10am – 8 pm. The Spa must be vacated by all guests the advertised closing time. On Public Holidays these times may be subject to change. On occasions it may be necessary to close the entire Spa due to exclusive events, maintenance or for any unforeseen circumstances.

PAYMENT:  You must please pay for any charges incurred before leaving the Spa.

DISPUTES:  In the event of any dispute arising out of the interpretation of these Terms the decision of the Company shall be final.

MAINTENANCE:  All Spa facilities are maintained throughout the year, it may be necessary to close the facilities for a period for essential maintenance.

MISSED APPOINTMENTS:  If you fail to turn up for, or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice to the Company, any therapies, you will be charged for these appointments in full. We will use reasonable endeavours to re-sell your cancelled appointment and if successful no charge will be made to you.

NOTICE:  The Company at its discretion may vary these rules from time to time.

The Falls Spa, Borrowdale

You may have already visited the Lodore Falls on a trip to the Lake District: wonderful frothy waterfalls tumbling from the Borrowdale fells towards Derwentwater. Well, did you know you could take a refreshing dip there (or admire it from dry land if you prefer!) before retiring to the Falls Spa at the Lodore Falls Hotel for a pamper session?

The Falls Beauty Salon is a relaxing destination offering everything from Elemis body massages and facials to manicures and pedicures. North Lakes Hotel Spa, Penrith

If you have had a long journey on the M6 or A66 to reach the Lake District then you might like to know that there is a handily located spa just off junction 40. The North Lakes Hotel & Spa may have a central location but it has the feel of a country retreat. Complimentary robes and slippers plus an inviting lounge, pool, whirlpool, sauna and steam room create the perfect calming ambience.

The Spa at Underscar, near Keswick

The Spa at Underscar is located in 40 acres of ancient woodland on the slopes of Skiddaw, a couple of miles outside of Keswick. It feels like you're really out in the wild, but it's actually convenient for much of the northern Lake District. 

Outside, the building boasts Italianate features and exudes olde worlde class, while the inside is fully modernised with restful decor and top-end facilities. The mood lighting and soothing music will have you feeling entirely relaxed within minutes. Time spent at this small Lake District spa is just blissful.

Treatments start at £20 per person, and packages at £49 per person.

Aqua Sana, Whinfell Forest Park

The Daffodil Spa, Grasmere

Within walking distance of the village of Grasmere, the Daffodil Spa is a luxurious escape amongst some of the best scenery in the Lake District.
