A band truly like no other, LORNA SHORE have survived and thrived against insurmountable odds over the years. Hailing from New Jersey, the group forged their present lineup and sound in 2020 against the backdrop of a pandemic, a singer change, and cancelled tours. Emerging with staggering new vigour via their 2021 EP ...And I Return To Nothingness and their 2022 full length album Pain Remains, the LORNA SHORE rebirth rose like a guttural phoenix in a blazing display of raw emotion, technical prowess, and unforgettable twists and turns that garnered chart and critical success on a global scale. In the meantime, let’s recap the group’s rise to fame over the past few years…

Since 2021, the band have made a name for themselves, unlike anyone before them, following the addition of new vocalist Will Ramos (ex- Secrets Don’t Sleep  and  A Wake In Providence ), who stepped up to the plate and delivered some of the most disgusting, gurn-inducing gutturals the world has ever seen (or heard) on both their …And I Return to Nothingness EP   and 2022 full-length Pain Remains alongside guitarists Adam De Micco and Andrew O’Connor , bassist Michael Yager and drummer Austin Archey .

Ramos became a household name thanks to viral TikTok trends for their song ‘ To The Hellfire ‘ due to a wild fascination over his incredible vocal range. Our deathcore connoisseur Ricky Aarons chatted with him all about it when the pair first started manifesting an Australia domination.

Outside of home – last year Wall Of Sound had the pleasure of witnessing Lorna Shore tearing up stages at Download Festival UK and from way way wayyyyy up the back during their Graspop set – because of the sheer volume of metalheads keen to catch a glimpse of the band in the flesh – and to say we’re in for a treat down under, would be the understatement of the century.

While no further information has been passed onto us (stay tuned for updates during the day), we can only assume a full announcement is lined up within the next few days, or after the Knotfest weekend comes to an end following the final leg at Brisbane on Sunday.

Who’s keen to see the man himself Will Ramos on the next season of Deathcore Karaoke ? We know we sure as hell are. Stay tuned for more.

The announcement includes the confirmation of support from Bodysnatcher and Sydney deathcore sensation, To the Grave.

One of the most exciting, electrifying, still emerging bands in extreme music, Lorna Shore has had a profound impact on the landscape of modern deathcore. The band's lauded 2023 LP   Pain Remain s was a fixture on several year-ending 'Best of' lists and vaulted the Jersey unit to new heights globally. 

Lorna Shore recently announced plans for their biggest headlining run to date with a September and October jaunt across North America. Celebrating the continued dominance of   Pain Remains , Lorna Shore has opted to give the album some added attention, performing the album in full every night of the North American run. 

Adding to the band's live itinerary, Lorna Shore has notched another important milestone in their skyrocketing careers, confirming their first-ever Australian tour dates set for February of 2025. 

“Good things happen to those who wait or that Patience is a virtue but enough overused cliches to acknowledge it’s been long overdue that we finally tour the land down under,” says Lorna Shore’s Adam De Micco.

“With all that being said we are excited to announce we are finally touring Australia. We hope to see all of you there.”

Set to join Lorna Shore on their pivotal first performances in Australia, Florida outfit Bodysnatcher will join the trek along with some regional support from Sydney's very own deathcore prospects, To The Grave. 

Tickets are set to go on sale Friday June 14th at 10am local time via  destroyalllines.com . Ahead of the general on-sale, KNOTFEST.com will be hosting an exclusive pre-sale event were KNOTFEST.com premium members can access tickets ahead of the general public starting Thursday 13th June @ 10am AEST.

Modern day deathcore titans Lorna Shore have just announced another leg of the Pain Remains Tour with a U.S. run set for this spring with special guests Shadow of Intent , Bodysnatcher and Boundaries , as well as another act that will be revealed at a later date.

The run, which stretches from March 30 through April 16, will immediately precede the first leg of Lorna Shore's tour as the opening act on Mastodon and Gojira 's co-headlining Mega-Monsters Tour.
