Located in South Eastern Kansas – Land of Giants is situated among some of the best Kansas Whitetail Deer Hunting land. We hunt all private land and the demand for the hunting trophy whitetail deer is high. Land of Giants is becoming to be known as a destination for hunters looking to score a trophy whitetail buck.

Through out the years we have adapted to strict hunting guidelines and have a rigorous management plan that allows us to place clients on trophy whitetails every year. Land of Giants offers 3 different opportunities to hunt trophy whitetails in Kansas. Archery and rifle season are in high demanded, but we also offer muzzleloader whitetail hunts as well.

TROPHY WHITETAILS

What can clients expect when hunting at Land of Giants? With over 30,000 acres of hunting land we are one of the biggest outfitters in Kansas. Hunters can expect to see a wide variety of whitetails ranging from 150″ and up to over 200″.

SEASON INFORMATION

• Early Muzzleloader Season: Mid-Sept
• Archery Season: Sept – Dec
• Firearms Season: Late-Nov – Early-Dec

50% down is required to hold your hunt date. The Hunt Contract must be signed before the first morning hunt. Remainder of balance will be due before your hunt begins.

Each Kansas Trophy Whitetail hunt is a 5-day hunt, typically clients arrive Sunday afternoon and your hunt begins Monday morning. At the end of the hunt more prepare to leave Saturday morning hopefully with a trophy whitetail!

Clients will be introduced and familiarized with the grounds and guides on Sunday. We have numerous hunting setups to accommodate many different requests. Clients can hunt from their choice of Millennium Tree Stands, Ground Blinds or Box Blinds.

Each hunt includes guide services, recovery of deer, cape out, quartering out the deer and placing the deer in your cooler.

Bucks under 140” $500 Fine Un-lethal shot that was bad shot $500 to get back into the stand. 2nd Un-lethal shot ends the hunt.

MUZZLELOADER - $4500

Price is per hunter. Kansas license is not included in the price.

ARCHERY - $4500

Rifle - $5595, youth - $4500, a hunt experience.

A typical whitetail hunt at Land of Giants starts off with hunters arriving to our lodge on a Sunday afternoon. This allows you to get accustomed to the surroundings and learn the layout of the hunting property. During this time we will go over your gear checklist, check trail cameras and talk to the guides on how the deer are moving.

The next morning and the following days the hunt is on. We will guide you into the best opportunities for your Kansas Trophy Whitetail. Once you are able to harvest this trophy of a lifetime, our staff will help locate your deer and bring it back to the lodge for photos.

Kansas Hunting Trips

Welcome to the Pipe Creek Guide Service website! We offer trophy whitetail deer hunting, turkey hunting, upland bird, and predator hunting in Kansas. We hunt on 15,000 exclusive acres of private land in and around the Minneapolis, Kansas area. We are located about 25 miles north of Salina, Kansas off of interstate I-135. Pipe Creek Guide Service is in units 7 and 8 on private land in Ottawa, Cloud, and Saline counties. We have around 300 ladder stands, 50 box blinds, and lots of ground blinds in wood-lots along river and creek bottoms, with crops weaving in and out of these bottoms. October 6, 2022

Pipe Creek hunter Jason Diamond harvested a velvet stud during Kansas' 2022 muzzleloader opener. His personal best buck scored just shy of 200 inches at 197 6/8, with 18 countable points more than an inch. It's the second-largest velvet whitetail ever taken in Kansas with a muzzleloader. Kansas Muzzleloader Hunts

With opportunities in early September, this is one of the earliest times to bag your Kansas Whitetail Deer.   While muzzleloader hunts have proven to be just as difficult as archery hunts, having the access to hunt land that has yet to be disturbed by others is a big reason why many opt to hunt for their trophy buck with a muzzleloader in Kansas. The weather tends to be warmer and more manageable that the latter seasons of rifle and crossbow, and the deer tend to be traveling in routine patterns, making success rates higher. I’d recommend Whitetail Heaven to any one! I’ve (deer) hunted south and west camp and had a great experience at both. Saw deer every day at both camps (2021 west & 2022 south) and was fortunate enough to harvest a nice buck at south camp this year. When hunting with us at either one of our kansas camps (northwest or southeast camp), we take all the guess work out of the hunt and get right to business as soon as you arrive.  by having an all inclusive camp, we handle all the meals and non-alcoholic beverages throughout the hunt as well as all of the field transportation to and from camp to the properties.  this allows us to hunt hard until tagged out and stay successful, hunts include:.

KANSAS DEER HUNTS

At 180 Outdoors we offer Kansas deer hunts for everyone. From our fully guided all inclusive deer hunt to our semi guided or do it yourself Kansas deer hunt, we are sure to be able to accommodate your needs.

Our premier Kansas whitetail hunt is our fully guided trip. This includes 5-6 days of hunting and a 6-7 night stay at our lodge. On this hunt all meals, snacks, and drinks are provided. Once you arrive in camp you will have all transportation to and from your hunting locations provided. We have a cleaning station to prepare your harvest for taxidermy and the trip home or to assist you in donating the meat locally. All stands and blinds are pre-placed to insure your success.

When you show up for a guided hunt you will see Stealth Cam pictures of the deer that are on the properties that you will be hunting. We will go over how to age and a score a deer on the hoof to make sure that you harvest the Kansas buck you came for.

At 180 Outdoors we do not charge a trophy fee. When you book you Kansas deer hunts with us we want you to shoot the biggest buck in the woods and we are not going to charge you more for him. However, we do hold a 130" minimum on all of are leases and there is a $500 fine for harvesting a deer that does not meet the minimum.

All resident and nonresident permits are valid, and equipment restrictions designated on permits apply. Hunter orange is required.)

Shooting Hours: One-half hour before sunrise to one-half hour after sunset.

TYPES OF KANSAS DEER HUNTS

Fully Guided Kansas Deer Hunts

Once you arrive in our camp in Southeast Kansas, we take care of everything.

Lodging:  Your lodging is included in the price of this hunt and will be at one of our lodges. Our Kansas hunting lodges are remodeled ranch houses for a comfortable stay.

Meals:  We will provide two home cooked meals a day and all the snacks & drinks that you can handle. (We do not provide alcohol)

License and Permit:   We make it easy, provide us with your information and we will apply for all needed licenses and permits. Cost of all licenses and permits are the responsibility of the hunter.

Transportation:  Your guide will drive you to and from your stand daily. They will be on call and pick you up from your stand when you are ready for a break. (Please allow up to 30 minutes for a guide to get to you.)

Equipment:  The only equipment you need is your clothing, boots, and weapon.

Game Handling:  We will track, drag, and clean your deer for you. We have a cleaning facility on site and will debone your meat and pack it in your cooler.

Taxidermy:  We have a local taxidermist that will cape and skull cape your deer for the trip home. It will be ready for your taxidermist or you can leave it here for him to mount and pick it up on your next trip to 180 Outdoors! All taxidermy fees are the responsibility of the hunter.

Semi Guided Kansas Deer Hunts

We know the land and will put you in the position to be successful while experiencing our comfort.

Lodging:  Your lodging is included in the price of this hunt and will be at one of our lodges. Our lodges are remodeled ranch houses for a comfortable stay.

Meals:  We will provide a list of local restaurants for you to eat at. Cost of meals are your responsibility.

Transportation:  Your guide will drive to the farms and show you the boundaries as well as the parking locations for your vehicle. Day to Day of your hunt you will drive to and from your lodge to your farm.

Equipment:  Blinds or Stands, Feeders, and trail cameras in place and available.

Game Handling:  When you take a shot at your target animal your guide will meet you at the site and aid in the recovery. You will then deliver your game to a local meat processor. That fee is your responsibility.

If 5 days is not enough hunting for you we do have an option. 180 Outdoors, LLC has numerous farms available for year-round or season leases. These farms range in price from $7-$25 per acre. Each farm varies in the amount of hunters, what species are available to hunt, and the period of the year that they are available. Open prairies and river bottoms in Kansas house a huge number of deer, both mule deer and whitetails, and Kansas has a reputation of a second-to-none destination for trophy whitetail hunting. Even DIY hunters can score a record book class buck in Kansas, although, of course, using the services of a reliable outfitter greatly improves the chances of a non-resident hunter. In fact, Kansas is often described as having “too many deer”. As one of the measures to reduce the population, the state allows harvest of only one antlered deer per year, with multiple antlerless deer permits available. While a lot of private land in Kansas is leased to outfitters and hunting clubs, the state encourages landowners to allow hunting on their lands. Many landowners register their land for the state’s Walk-In-Hunting Program, and the appropriately posted plots can be hunted on without having to ask for permission. The downside of the state’s reputation is that there’s a very high number of applications from out-of-state hunters, and with a limited quota, drawing a deer permit in Kansas becomes more and more problematic. Other big-game hunting opportunities in Kansas include elk and antelope. Elk hunting, however, is limited to only twenty permits drawn annually between the state’s residents and military personnel. Pronghorn permits for the muzzleloader and rifle seasons are available only to residents, on a limited draw basis, but archery tags are sold over-the-counter, to both residents and non-residents. Located on the Central Flyway for the migratory waterfowl, Kansas offers excellent guck and geese hunting opportunities as well, with Cheyenne Bottoms Wildlife Area recognized as one of the hottest waterfowl spots in North America. Last but not the least, Kansas is a great turkey hunting destination, and one of the states you should go to if you want to complete your Turkey Slam in one year, as Kansas has two subspecies: Eastern and Rio Grande Turkey. Surviving mixed grassland prairies in Kansas make it one of the few states where you can still pursue the original American upland gamebird: the prairie chicken. Only greater prairie chicken are legal to hunt, and only in the north-east of the state, though. Overall, grasslands intermixed with wheat fields make a near-perfect habitat for all upland birds, and Kansas is listed as one of the top three pheasant and bobwhite quail states in the US. Hundreds of thousands of non-resident hunters flock each year to enjoy the outdoor opportunities of Kansas, most of them in pursuit of pheasant and deer, and contribute millions of dollars to the state economy annually. They have at their service dozens if not hundreds of guides, outfitters, lodges, leases and preserves, that can cater to any wish and wallet.

Predator Hunting at Night

Hickory Creek is excited to be one of the first outfitters in Kansas to offer predator hunting at night - with lights, night vision and thermal imaging! Far from new at the game of predator hunting, Hickory Creek has been offering predator hunts for over 20 years, but Kansas just passed a law allowing this new option for hunting at night. Our guide will utilize his knowledge of our land and will put you where you need to be to be successful. As you know predators are nocturnal by nature, so hunting them at night changes the odds to the hunter’s favor. Coyotes and bobcats abound in this cattle ranching area of Kansas, so not only are we doing our landowners a big favor by killing as many predators as possible - we are doing our hunters a bigger service. Lots of Fawns and turkey poults fall prey to these "night stalkers" so come on down and let’s light ‘em up...

The guide will conduct the hunt with electronic calls, mimicking rabbit distress and natural seasonal vocalizations. These shots can come very fast so be sure to practice your target acquisition skills before you arrive. In some cases you may have only seconds to acquire the target and make the shot.

When you’re ready to reserve your predator hunting trip, a $200 deposit is required to hold your trip date and hunting lodge . For your convenience you can securely Pay Deposit online using PayPal. You may purchase your hunting license from the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism website.

If you were born after July 1st, 1957, you must have a valid hunter’s safety card, which must be in your possession while hunting.

Midwest Whitetail Adventures has searched out top deer hunting properties.  We have over 30,000 acres of prime hunting land in Northeastern Kansas.   This farm has been strictly managed and consistently produces Monster Bucks.   With a 140″ minimum, accompanied with our harvesting method we have seen a mature herd.  Our hunters have taken bucks over 200″, and we see numerous bucks of 200″ plus every year. We have sought out local land owners who have also adapted a 140″ minimum for their properties.  This has allowed our bucks to grow to full potential. Some outfitters will take smaller tracts of land and try to manage for a certain size which is very hard to maintain. We feel our method is a more productive way of harvesting the Monster Bucks that will satisfy our hunters.
