To become a Plannet Marketing Representative, the start-up costs only $19.95. And you will also pay a monthly administration fee of $19.95.

1. Retailing Commissions

InteleTravel will receive commissions ranging from 14% to 28% on each travel-related service sold to customers, depending on the offering.  The remainder of the proceeds is distributed to PlanNet Marketing and its suppliers.  70% of the 14% to 28% fee will be paid to you, the ITA who sold the products.

An example, suppose you sold a $1,000 reduced trip package with InteleTravel’s base commission of 28%.

$1,000 x 0.28 (28%) = $280

As a result of this single transaction, InteleTravel earned $280. In contrast, you will receive 70% of the $280.

Your retail commission for selling the $1,000 goods under the key parameters will be $280 x 0.7 = $196. You will also earn commissions on the products your recruits sell and whenever a new ITA joins InteleTravel with you as the sponsor (recruiter).

2. Recruiting Commission

With the PlanNet Marketing compensation plan, there are methods to make more money through recruiting people.

You have to be prepared to acquire a large number of people for this business opportunity because that’s the only way you’ll be able to earn the following commissions:

2.1 InteleTravel Agents Commissions

This commission has a different pay structure known as a UniLevel MLM compensation plan. You will be placed at the top of UniLevel, while all your recruits will be just beneath you (level 1). Your recruits’ invites will be placed beneath them (level 2), and so on.

You must recruit and retain 9 InteleTravel Agents to obtain the Gold Builder Bonus.

You will receive a $10 override commission for each InteleTravel affiliate membership sold in your team, up to 6 layers deep.

2.5 Director Bonus

Override commissions will be paid to PlanNet Marketing representatives who recruit and retain a certain number of InteleTravel Agents each month.

• 1 Star Director – 100 ITAs awards you an extra $500 each month
• $1000/month for a 2-star director with 300 ITAs.
• $2000/month for a three-star director with 500 ITAs.
• 4 Star Director – 1500 ITas per month, $5000
• 5-star director with 4000 ITAs and a monthly salary of $10,000

• 7-star director with 25,000 ITAs and a monthly salary of $30,000
• 8-star director with 50,000 ITAs and a monthly salary of $50,000

2.6 Rank Achievement Bonus

These are one-time bonuses awarded when you reach a certain level in the PlanNet Marketing affiliate hierarchy or earn a monthly commission.

There was no statement of the size or carat weight of the gemstones on each ring, so I can’t estimate their worth.

PlanNet Marketing, as Don states, has an “Aggressive” compensation scheme.

I suppose it’s true if he means you must be aggressive in recruiting individuals to make a reasonable living.

Because while you can make money by selling travel services through InteleTravel, you will make more money by recruiting new ITAs to your team. You won’t make much money or last long if you can’t establish a large network of InteleTravel Agents under your team.

How much money can you make using PlanNet Marketing?

With all the figures above, I can’t blame you for thinking that spending $60 per month isn’t that awful when your revenue potential with PlanNet Marketing is so high.

Hold on to that concept for a moment.

Here is the most recent income disclosure given by the company.

As you can see, in 2021, 92.17% of people who joined PlanNet marketing only had an average annual income of $44.54.

That is, the majority of people make less than $10 per month! Is this the kind of life-changing money you’re looking for?

Furthermore, PlanNet Marketing discloses in the same paper that 77.73% of total representatives did not make a penny. As in zero!

Remember, these users who did not earn money have been paying administrative costs of $59.90 monthly!!!

They not only did not make money with PlanNet Marketing but also lost money. Who knows how long they attempted to make this thing function? Imagine someone trying to make it work for a full year and spent more than $700.

Is PlanNet Marketing a Scam?

Businesses that solely (or mostly) rely on recruiting people to fall under ‘pyramid schemes’ as per the Federal Trade Commission/FTC. PlanNet Marketing definitely bases a lot on bringing other agents onto the system.

Firstly, PlannetMarketing will cost you an arm and a leg to be an agent with the company. Secondly, the payment plans aren’t very promising (including the $50 one-time you receive on referrals).

If you leave all that aside, the fact they use a multi-level marketing model, which heavily relies on recruiting people, doesn’t make the business future-proof. The FTC can always hop in, interfere and make them overhaul the system or take it down entirely.

Add to the fact a very few percent of people make decent money with MLM systems, and it’s not for the average joe. Most people struggle with MLM and hardly make $1000 yearly, let alone per month. If recruiting is your thing, then that’s a different story altogether.

While it is true that PlanNet Marketing, via InteleTravel, pays you commissions when a product is sold, higher commissions depend on recruitment.

For example, the InteleTravel Agent Bonus and 50% Matching Bonus compensate you directly by bringing in a new employee. There is no product sold here because you only offer an InteleTravel membership.

And, if you look at the company’s incentive structure, you’ll notice that the majority of the residual commissions are based on the number of individuals on your team rather than the volume of product sales to customers.

My Final Verdict On Plannet Marketing

If you enjoy traveling and want to establish your home-based travel agency, this could be the business for you. But I don’t see the potential in this endeavor.

And it’s those pitiful profits that are reflected in their income disclosure statement. Of course, I don’t know your perspective, and you might be the exception who can make this work. So if you believe you can, go for it. However, this is not an enterprise I would suggest to anyone, especially when you have better alternatives like Work from Home Moms or jobs offered on FlexJobs .

If you enjoy traveling, you don’t have to join an MLM company and spend time marketing and recruiting people to help you expand your business. And you don’t have to be a travel agent to start a successful home-based business in the travel industry. You may create your travel blog with ease.

You can also monetize your website through affiliate marketing connections with any travel provider. It’s also acceptable if you don’t enjoy traveling. You may create a successful online affiliate marketing business based on your interest, hobby, or passion.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

Let me take a wild guess and say that you’re visiting this site because you’ve heard of a great way to earn money without doing much. If you’re skeptical, good. If not, I’m here to tell you why you should be.

One of the first things you should ask yourself when facing such an opportunity is, is there a chance I can lose money in this deal? In the case of PlanNet Marketing, there is.

However, is PlanNet Marketing a scam? Or does is it a legitimate avenue to begin earning profits? In this review, I’ll answer these questions about PlanNet Marketing and more to help you make the right financial decision.

PlanNet Marketing is an MLM with head offices in San Diego, CA, that focuses on selling flight and cruise tickets, hotel reservations, and plenty more travel services to its customers. The company has partnered with the like of InteleTravel to help manage the MLM side of their business to provide its member base with money-making opportunities with future clients.

The company is helmed by co-founders CEO Don Bradley and President/CFO Andy Cathulen. They are both highly experienced in different areas of business, so it was only a matter of time before the two minds joined together to start PlanNet Marketing.

According to the website, PlanNet Marketing was established in 2006. However, I can only assume that the company does more business offline than it does over the internet seeing as how the company attracts very few visitors annually.

What Does PlanNet Marketing Offer?

PlanNet Marketing’s core business is selling travel services to its members and customers, but the company also offers online courses. These courses are aimed at future businessmen and women who plan on utilizing the internet to create a sustainable source of income. Basically, they train you on how to market your business through online avenues.

You can forgo the online training courses (sessions on how to use social media to boost your marketing and sales) and instead opt to purchase one of their ridiculously priced ad setup plans. PlanNet Marketing also offers subscription-based services which supposedly help create ads, edit videos, advertise on YouTube, and track SEO and keywords. Like their one-time setup plans, these prices are inflated beyond your wildest dreams!

Remember how I said that PlanNet Marketing is in cahoots with InteleTravel to help manage the MLM side of their business model? Well, this plan lets you, the average investor, join in on all the money-making action. By registering, you can sell PlanNet Marketing’s travel services to potential customers and earn a cut of the profits.

Or, if you’re more of a people-person and like to create a team of real go-getters, you can focus solely on recruiting and earn a more generous commission for every new person you bring into the PlanNet Marketing team.

What Does It Cost to Join PlanNet Marketing?

So, if you don’t want to utilize PlanNet Marketing’s “amazing” business marketing services and instead want to focus on the MLM side of things, all it takes to hop on board is $179 dollars upfront. Plus another $19.95 to $39.95 every month, depending on which package you purchased, to keep your name in the PlanNet family.

After forking over $238.90, you’ll officially become a part of the PlanNet Marketing marketing team. What this means is that you can begin doing the marketing for the alleged marketing experts! Why should PlanNet pay thousands of dollars to get its name out there when they can have people do it for them while paying the company for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Why indeed…

What a deal!

Oh, did I forget to mention that these costs do not cover travel, marketing, training, and miscellaneous expenses? They don’t; all of that comes out of your pocket.

How Do You Make Money with PlanNet Marketing?

You know what they say: “you gotta spend money to make money!” That’s true, especially when working with MLMs like PlanNet Marketing.

PlanNet Marketing offers three distinct avenues of earning an income through its system:

• Direct Sales – Earn $50 per direct recruit
• Indirect Sales – Earn $25 per downline recruit
• Gold Builder – Earn an additional $10 for each sale once you’ve reached Gold Builder rank

Believe it or not, this is the simplest compensation plan I’ve seen from an MLM in a while. There’s not a lot of confusing jargon and ifs-ands-or-buts in between. The simplicity of PlanNet Marketing’s compensation plan is incredibly refreshing.

Things I Like About PlanNet Marketing (Pros)

So, after everything we’ve learned about PlanNet Marketing, here’s why I think PlanNet Marketing might be a good investment opportunity.

1. Legit MLM

First of all, for an MLM to operate within the US, it needs to offer a product or service of real value, not crummy online training courses that teach you what you can learn for free from kindhearted YouTube content creators

In the case of PlanNet Marketing, it’s a legit MLM organization. It actually sells something of value to customers—plane tickets, hotel bookings, and so on—so if the MLM side of the business fails, its paying members can always sell travel services to make money.

2. No False Claims of Instant Wealth

One of the biggest red flags anyone can identify in an MLM company is if it promises instant wealth. “Join our company and makes millions in 12 weeks!” or “Earn 10% on your investment daily!”

PlanNet Marketing clever steers clear of all that nonsense and tells its members upfront that their income potential is dependent on their marketing efforts. Basically, work more, make more, like everything else in life.

Things I Dislike About PlanNet Marketing (Cons)

However, PlanNet Marketing is far from perfect. Here are a couple of reasons why I think you should avoid PlanNet Marketing entirely.

1. Unsustainable MLM Model

Let’s say that PlanNet Marketing has recruited all 328 million people in the US to join PlanNet Marketing. Then what? Obviously, the management team will want to spread out to different countries.

After they conquer every planet, then what? When the money at the bottom dries up, so do the commissions that flow upward. Seeing as how the website isn’t drawing enough attention, I can only assume that the end is possibly closer than you may think.

2. Recruitment-Oriented Commission

You can make a few bucks here and there by helping PlanNet Marketing sell their travel packages to potential customers, but if you want to earn twice or five times as much, then you gotta go out and find new members.

Force your recruits to pay the $179 upfront plus monthly subscription fee. Only then will you make the big bucks!

3. Nobody’s Traveling Right Now

At the time this article was written, the COVID19 plague was in full-force. Travelling is heavily monitored and might even be forbidden in certain countries. A cough or sneeze on an airplane is a cause for mass hysteria.

In short, nobody’s hopping on planes right now, and you’ll have to do a pretty good job at convincing potential recruits otherwise.

4. Outrageously High Membership Fees

To remain aboard the PlanNet Marketing boat, you need to pay around $400 and $600 every year. To put it in perspective, you need to recruit between eight and twelve people every year to cover the membership cost.

Any other costs you incur come out of your pocket, so you’re pretty much in the red unless you’re an expert marketer like Andy and Don (who don’t actually market the business but have you, a paying member, do it for them).

5. Limited Income Potential

If you’re joining an MLM business, you need to be realistic about its income potential. Besides selling products, you’ll need to spend time in recruitment to make decent earning.

Check out this income statistic of PlanNet Marketing’s members in 2019.

Only 2.49% of its members made an average of $4,331 and above in a year. The rest, a bulk of 97.51%, have to settle with $140.57 for a 12-month period.

If you ask me, it isn’t the most lucrative business model around.

Verdict: Not a Scam, but an MLM with Limited Potential

Rejoice, everyone, for PlanNet Marketing is not a scam. Like FR3 World and BioReigns , it is perfectly legit.

However, keep your screams of joy down since the earnings potential through the company’s compensation plan is peanuts compared to how much you need to pay to join.

If you’re all for making money online and want the work perks of not communicating very often with people, I highly recommend trying your hand at affiliate marketing . Through affiliate programs, you can promote other people’s products and/or services and earn a cut of the profits without paying an upfront fee to your client.

Basically, every sale you help generate earns profits for both you and the original seller. This is the real win-win opportunity!

Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. What is the best time to visit moscow.

Winter can be quite cold but beautiful nonetheless, and this is unproblematic if you intend to spend most of your trip in museums and galleries. How many days are enough in Moscow?

If you plan your itinerary strategically and aren’t averse to a packed schedule, you can cover Moscow’s main sights over a long weekend. Most popular attractions are in the city centre, and the Moscow Metro allows you to cover much ground in a small amount of time. Ensure that your accommodation is fairly central and book tickets in advance, so that you can make the most of your days. Do they speak English in Moscow?

As Russia’s capital city, tourists are well accommodated in Moscow. There should be English-speaking staff in restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and attractions in tourist hotspots, and there are also English-speaking tourist police. Transport services have English translations on their maps and English announcements via intercom; alternatively, order taxis from the Yandex Taxi app (Russian Uber), though it’s unlikely that your taxi driver will speak English. If you get stuck and cannot communicate, it’s fine to use Google Translate.

Is it safe to travel to Moscow?

It is no less safe to travel to Moscow than to any European city if you exercise common sense and look after your belongings. As with every city some regions can be more unsavoury than others, but no tourist attractions are located there. The traffic in Moscow is notorious, so exercise caution when crossing roads. Do not take unlicensed taxis; book in advance or take public transport, which is widespread and perfectly safe. If you encounter any problems, look for the special tourist police who can help you. How to spend a perfect weekend in Moscow

Moscow enjoyed the status of capital for most of Russia’s history, except for a relatively brief period (about two hundred years), when the Tsar and the government relocated to St Petersburg . But the Bolsheviks moved the capital back to Moscow in 1918, and today it’s an extremely diverse city. It can easily take a couple of weeks to see all of its sights, but if you've only got a weekend to explore, here's how to have two perfect days in Moscow.

Start your weekend in Moscow by acquainting yourself with top-notch Russian cuisine at Grand Cafe Dr Zhivago . Located on the first floor of the historical hotel National and overlooking the Kremlin, it’s definitely one of the best breakfast spots in the city. Try millet porridge with crawfish, pearl barley porridge with oxtail or traditional cottage cheese with raisins and candied fruit.

Set aside at least half a day for Russian capital’s major attractions: the Red Square and the Kremlin . To reach the Kremlin, cross the street from Dr Zhivago and walk through the Alexander Garden to the main entrance at the Kutafya Tower . Check out all the cathedrals, including Archangel cathedral with all the tsars’ tombs and Uspensky cathedral with medieval icons. Pause to look at the famous Tsar Bell and climb Ivan the Great Bell Tower to enjoy some great views.

Exit and walk to the Red Square through the Alexander Garden, where, if lucky, you can see the change of guard. If you’re feeling hungry, stop by the food court at Okhotny Ryad shopping complex to pick up a snack.

The Red square is dominated by four buildings of equal historical importance: the Kremlin's most famous Spasskaya (Saviour) Tower , with a clock and fourteen bells that chime national anthem four times a day (6am, noon, 6pm, midnight), St Basil's Cathedral , Moscow's best-known symbol with its multi-colored domes, Lenin’s Mausoleum , the resting place of the leader of the 1917 October revolution, and GUM , Moscow's oldest department store, topped with a glass roof, designed by one of Russia's most celebrated architects, Vladimir Shukhov. 

A guide to shopping in Moscow

Right behind the St Basil’s it is the relatively new Zaryadye Park , designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro, famous for its work on the High Line in New York City. Zaryadye showcases flora from all the climate zones of Russia, which is the largest country in the world. The floating bridge at the edge of the park is one of the biggest selfie magnets in Moscow, providing spectacular views of the river and the city skyline as the background. 

Another Zaryadye attraction is a glass pavilion that hosts restaurant Voskhod  (Sunrise) – a perfect spot for your lunch or early dinner. Voskhod focuses on dishes from all fifteen former Soviet Union republics and its inside looks like a Soviet-made spaceship with great views of the Moscow river. Try Azeri home-made pasta or trout from Lake Sevan in Armenia.

After all that walking and exploring you need some quality downtime and what better way to spend it than relaxing for a couple of hours at the famous Sanduny  traditional Russian hot bath. Make sure to get a massage with birch sticks!

You might still have time to go to Winzavod Center – a creative cluster with galleries housed at a former wine factory. Galleries like XL , pop/off/art and Ovcharenko always have something on, most likely a cutting-edge Russian contemporary art exhibition. Finish the evening hanging out at one of the best Moscow bars – try socialites’ paradise Noor Electro , co-joined with one of Moscow’s avant-garde theatres or Powerhouse Moscow , located in a 19th-century mansion, which is famous for live indie and jazz band performances. Both serve great food, too. 

Power up for a busy day ahead at one of Moscow’s trendiest coffee/breakfast spots,   Nude . Located in the upscale, well-heeled neighborhood of Patriarch’s Ponds, Nude offers a wide range of breakfast dishes, including scrambled eggs, toast, porridge and banana bread. Book ahead as it might be busy on a weekend morning.

After checking out the Patriarch's Ponds, which features prominently in Mikhail Bulgakov’s perennial novel The Master and Margarita , devote the rest of the morning and early afternoon to exploring Moscow’s best museums. Depending on your tastes, pick one of the following: Tretyakov Gallery for traditional Russian art, from medieval icons to the early 20th century;  New Tretyakov for 20th century and contemporary art as well as great temporary exhibitions;  Pushkin Museum for one of the greatest collections of Impressionist and post-Impressionist art in the world; and the Garage Museum for some eye-opening modern-art exhibitions. 

Whichever museum or gallery you choose, be sure to go to LavkaLavka for lunch, certainly one of the best places to try new Russian cuisine, which is a contemporary reading of centuries-old recipes. It’s one of the few places to try polugar , which is, allegedly, what Russians called vodka in the 19th century. 

When you talk about Russian culture, literary giants usually pop into mind: the likes of Leo Tolstoy, Fyodor Dostoevsky and Anton Chekhov. There are plenty of literary museums in Moscow, but if you had to pick one, visit Tolstoy Estate Museum , located just opposite the headquarters of Yandex, the Russian equivalent of Google. Every little detail has been restored just the way it looked when Tolstoy lived here in the 1880s–90s. 

Leave some time for exploring the Moscow Metro : every station is an architectural masterpiece in its own right. Our favorites include Mayakovskaya, Komsomolskaya and Kievskaya. Later, unwind at one of dozens of Moscow’s craft beer places . Try  Jawsspot , named after one of the leading breweries in Russia, Jaws from the Urals region, which also serves decent pizza and salads.

When is the next total solar eclipse in the US after 2024 and what is its path? What to know

The highly anticipated 2024 total solar eclipse will cross North America on Monday , giving millions of sky-gazers the chance to see a rare cosmic event that won't be viewable again for 20 years.

The eclipse's  path of totality  will travel over a portion of northern Mexico before entering the U.S. It then it will cross 13 states  from Texas to Maine, where the spectacle is expected to attract huge crowds.

If you aren't lucky enough to be in the path of totality this time around, you will have another chance - you'll just have to wait until the 2040s.

When is the next total solar eclipse visible from the U.S.?

It will be 20 years before there's a chance to  witness a total solar eclipse  in the United States again.

According to NASA, after Monday's total solar  eclipse , the next one viewable from the contiguous U.S. will be on Aug. 23, 2044.

2044 total solar eclipse path of totality

Unfortunately, the 2044 total  solar eclipse  won't have the broad reach across the U.S. as the 2024 eclipse.

The path of totality during the 2044 eclipse will only touch three states, according to the Planetary Society, a nonprofit involved in research, public outreach, and political space advocacy.

The eclipse will begin in Greenland, sweep through Canada and end around sunset in Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota.

2045 solar eclipse

While the 2044 total eclipse will only touch three states, a 2045 eclipse will have a more robust path across the U.S.

Expected to occur on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2045, this solar eclipse will trace a path of totality over California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.

A partial solar eclipse will also be viewable in 35 other states, according to National Eclipse.com

What is a total solar eclipse?

Any celestial object like a moon or a planet that passes between two other bodies can create  an eclipse  by obscuring the view of objects like the sun.

In the event of a solar eclipse, the moon comes in between the Earth and the sun, blocking its light from reaching a small part of our planet. Partial eclipses, when some part of the sun remains visible, are the most common, making total eclipses a rare sight to behold.

Total eclipses can lead to a period of darkness lasting for several minutes, during which time nocturnal animals stir while confused birds and insects may fall silent, NASA says.

When a solar eclipse reaches totality, people are able to see the sun’s outer atmosphere called the corona, which is usually obscured by the sun's bright surface. This offers scientists an uncommon opportunity  to study the corona .

Totality also offers spectators a chance to gaze upon the spectacular sight with the naked eye, though  proper  safety  glasses  are still required for the rest of the time.

What states are on the 2024 eclipse path of totality?

Mexico's Pacific coast will be the first location in continental North America to experience totality, which is expected to occur at about 11:07 a.m. PDT,  according to NASA .

As the moon's shadow will northeast, totality in the U.S. will begin in Texas at 1:27 p.m. CDT. The path will then cut diagonally across the country, traveling through Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont and New Hampshire.

The eclipse's path is expected to end in Maine at 3:35 p.m. EDT before visiting the maritime provinces of Canada, according to estimates.

Methane is responsible for around 30% of the rise in global temperatures since the Industrial Revolution, and rapid and sustained reductions in methane emissions are key to limiting near-term global warming and improving air quality. The energy sector – including oil, natural gas, coal and bioenergy – accounts for over a third of methane emissions from human activity. The IEA’s Global Methane Tracker is an indispensable tool in the fight to bring down emissions from across the energy sector.

This year’s update provides our latest estimates of emissions from across the sector – drawing on the more recent data and readings from satellites and ground-based measurements – and the costs and opportunities to reduce these emissions. It also tracks current pledges and policies to drive down methane emissions and progress towards these goals. For the first time the Tracker includes the investments needed to deliver emissions reductions and the potential revenue from these measures.
