I rang and spoke to Sharice Brooks for clarification regarding cost of gratuities, she was very helpful and although we were disconnected she took the trouble to find the answer and e mailed me straight away and offered any further help. Each time I have rang every agent has been most helpful, professional and friendly. On finding problems with the MSC…
On finding problems with the MSC website I phoned Cruise Nation with whom I’d booked my 17th cruise . I had the pleasure of speaking to a lady by the name of Jemma Dolan. Jemma was professional,knowledgeable efficient at the same time as being friendly she solved my problem in no time at all. I hope Jemma is recognised as a valued member of Cruise Nation as she certainly deserves to be.

Amazing Support
In January we had to disembark from an MSC cruise due to my son being taken into hospital as an emergency. With the help of Cruise Nation, MSC allowed a cruise credit for half the cost. A cruise was subsequently booked in March commencing on the 3rd June. However, there was a problem applying the credit in accordance with the MSC terms. This caused a huge problem. Cruise Nation resolved the issue so that the cruise could go ahead. They went above and beyond. Special thanks to Natasha Crossley, Alan Hill and Katie King.

I had some questions regarding the cruise I had booked so called customer service. I was pleasantly surprised that I got connected to a customer service rep almost straight away after making the usual selection. Sherice was nice, friendly and helpful and was happy to advise and assist. @ management of cruise nation - Sherice has done an excellent job and has given me as a first time customer a very positive experience which made me want to return as a customer again. Overall a very nice experience and would return again.

Stunning customer service
I hadn't booked a cruise before but on lots of recommendations I booked online with Cruise Nation and I'm so pleased I did! I've had a couple of queries re changing cabins and booking some extras and these were dealt with amazingly and speedily by Kimberley and Rachel. I definitely feel in safe hands and the customer service has been perfect. Can't wait to go now!

The lady who finally helped me would have got 5 stars - Sherice Brooks and I thank her for her help. However I have had a very difficult time trying to get the free at sea package added and in the end NCL had to liaise with Cruise Nation as they kept saying I couldnt have it. I made multiple phone calls to sort this out as I had made the booking online and thought it was included.

Above and beyond...
I contacted Holland America yesterday to see if they could provide some assistance at embarkation for my husband, who has limited mobility. They sent me a special needs form to fill in and a couple of hours later I heard from Rachel Sullivan at Cruise Nation. She offered to sort things for me, and this morning sent confirmation that all the necessary arrangements had been made. I am really impressed with her prompt and caring assistance.

SHAME I CANT GET A QUOTE
I have phoned 4 times now and each time waited 40 mins for a reply. First girl was really nice spent 40 mins telling her exactly what i wanted and i have been quoted elsewhere and wanted to compare their price, she said as it was complex she hadn't long started so she will pass it onto colleague. i have been chasing the quote speaking to different people since and they all said yes i can see all your details but our colleague has started it we will ask him to call you - still no quote I called back today and they guy was so unhelpful advising how short staffed they are then asked me for all the details - i said everyone i have spoken to can see my details - he said well its up to you if you want to give me them or not! So if this is they way they treat potential customers i would rather go elsewhere!

I had a problem with my Computer …
I had a problem with my Computer printing off my Travel Documents. Mainly caused by myself through lack of knowledge of the computer. Two young ladies spent an awful amount of time sorting it out and I am so thankful to Sally for what She did. I was getting worried and could not have been better looked after. Sally you have made us so happy and are looking forward to joining the ship.

Cabin upgrade request
We requested a cabin upgrade on our upcoming cruise. Our request was dealt with speedily by Laurin who arranged our upgrade. Very happy with the outcome.

Excellent service. Had a higher price quoted by msc directly and after we chatted that the price on their website I was viewing at the same time was lower, she got back to max and indeed got them to honour the Bella upgrade price.

A sorry tale
I had to cancel my cruise and rebook a later one. Cruise nation said this was ok with the same cruise line. They gave me a price which was some £2000 above what they were offering the same cruise on their website. I was TD this was due to cancellation fees but the agent could give no detail of the charges nor did I get any further information from customer services. The cruise line said they raised no charge. And when I cancelled anyway I only lost my deposit. Is that what cruise nation wanted? Are the that desperate? Never again. And I was a regular!

Don’t trust this company We booked a family Canary Islands…
We booked a family Canary Islands cruise sailing in August for our Golden wedding anniversary, upon booking I was alarmed that after the reservations girl requested full and took full payment she only then proceeded to read out the terms and conditions, I immediately asked why she had not read me them before she took payment? As I knew that my husband had a surgery coming up, I said that had I known I was unable to cancel I would not have gone ahead, she responded by saying that I could always transfer to another cruise at a later date. She never informed me that it wasn’t to late to change my mind and refund the payment I had just made. ( I was only informed of this today 8th July, We took out travel insurance however as normal known surgery or up and coming hospital appointments were not covered. After my husband had a routine surgery there was complications and he has developed Sepsis and is presently on a ventilator in ICU, his prognosis is poor, I there called Cruise Nation to see what my options were after holding for nearly 2 hours I was informed I could cancel but with no refund £6500 or transfer to another MSC cruise but I needed to book quickly, I tried to explain that I wasn’t in a position to rebook presently as I am devastated and struggling to come to terms that my husband might die, and how can I plan anything or put his name on another ticket as he may not be here, she stated that I couldn’t have a cruise credit that they don’t do that, that picking another cruise now was my only option. Subsequent calls and emails to them have been cold and unsympathetic, and no one from management have bothered to call me. I should have had their Terms and Conditions read to me before booking not after it’s ludicrous, they say they record calls therefore I have asked them to listen to my recording as it’s very clear I objected at the time, therefore today I have made an official complaint to ABTA.

This company is the worst I’ve ever known for customer service, hours on the phone listening to messages about how good they are, they won’t return calls even when going through a sales agent to get customer services. We booked a cruise and find out down the line they booked us on the wrong sailing, even though the confirmations confirm the correct one. Try and get anyone on the phone, impossible, hours wait time, nothing ! Customer service hours 10-4 can you believe ! Never again will I use this company

This is how customer service should be!
After emailing customer service Tina rang me to help with details of my cruise. She organise the flights and upgrades I wanted look for the best times and value. Tina could not have been more helpful and to cap it all she found a package for drinks, wi fi, excursions and speciality dining at LESS THAN HALF the price I was expecting. Well done Tina!!!

The warning signs are clear
Booked a cruise holiday on 05/05/2021 with Cruise Nation for a sailing on 27th September 2022 from Athens and finishing in Barcelona. Got a phone call on 14th June 2022 to say that I would have to book my return flight from Barcelona to Edinburgh myself since Ryanair don’t deal with travel agents. I would receive £200 refund. I duly booked the flights but no refund has appeared as yet. I have tried to phone, I have left a message asking where the £200 is but have received no reply. It is impossible to contact them and I think the warning signs are staring me in the face regarding this company. Avoid at all costs!!
Terrible service
Terrible service. I have given up calling them. I tried emailing but no joy. Its my first time booking with them and it will be my last. Poor communication is one of the most frustrating things in any situation. I spoke to someone at 'Cruise circle' who answered the phone, emailed me & called me back (listen up 'Cruise nation) who said they would always price match any other offer. So given you can actually speak to someone there I will go to them next time. You can tell by the reviews that 'Cruise nation' only have a couple of people answering hundreds of calls as the same name keeps coming up. Is Tina twigg the only one dealing with anything there???? Very dissapointed with 'Cruise nation.' It actually turns what should be an exciting time into a bitter disappointment.

Annerversary booking
I have read a lot of reviews and have also experienced really long wait times on the phone, also customer services saying they will call you back and never receiving that callback. But when I finally got through Tanya picked up my call and was very empathic to my situation she apologised for my bad experience, with customer service and stayed on the phone an extremely long time, she even phoned me back to confirm that all details was correct. She went above and beyond and changed my whole experience with cruise nation. Thank you Tanya.

Success at last!
After many telephone calls and texts asking for information regarding our flights and despite being assured that a representative would call back within the day the only person to finally respond was Tina. Not only did she send txts but also telephoned me and gave me all the information I requested. She was very polite and extremely helpful. She had a friendly disposition and put my mind at ease with regard to our stay and cruise reservation.

Much appreciation
Whilst still with an ongoing dispute with Customers Relations. in came Tina Twigg from the Booking Dept on a totally different unrelated booking arrangement. It was breath of fresh air! She was professional, constructive, kept me informed of what she was planning and very customer centric. On completing her work and incidentally added some surprising goodies, she wanted to know about my dispute and volunteered to check into it and promptly came back with an explanation from the Cruise Line which would have prevented the dispute from starting! She restored my faith in Cruise Nation, otherwise my next big family cruise would be booked elsewhere! Needless to say, she is an enviable and valuable asset to and hope the company realises it! HTR495564 Cruise Line Ref 47297157 I received an email from Cruise Nation on 01/06/22 stating that Norwegian Sun will not be operating in Feb 2023. Customer Services asked me to get in touch by 09/06/22. Following 6 calls to 0333 4558628 ( I of which I waited on the line for 1hr 47 mins) and then 6 calls to 0800 408 0757. I sent a message to Twitter which was also ignored. Then on 04/06/22 I emailed Customer Service asking for an update and a call back. They came back to me in 06/06/22 asking for. Hays travel reference number which I sent the same day. Finally I sent another email to Custoner Service on the 15th asking for an update again no response. The situation has become frustrating and stressful!! Despite continuous contact by phone and email I am no further forward with resolving the return of my cruise deposit. The service provided by the Cruise Nation Customer Service team has been appalling. Could someone please advise me when I can expect a refund of my deposit! Rosemary Grey

Extremely poor customer service- I will not book with these again . I used to use all the time but they have gone completely down hill . They don’t pick up the phone for after sales and they don’t answer emails either. They’ve taken my money but not ticketed it yet and so can’t book my seats. They are a cowboy outfit since being taken over . AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!!!! There is no customer service!!! I’ve been on the phone to them about 20 things - it does not connect ! When finally did get through I was on hold for an hour - then I gave up! I’m really worried about the cruise that we have booked, they were fine to take the money and now with looks like there is no one there - they are not responding to any emails …. What do I do??? With the help of Cruise Nation, MSC allowed a cruise credit for half the cost. A cruise was subsequently booked in March commencing on the 3rd June. However, there was a problem applying the credit in accordance with the MSC terms. This caused a huge problem. Cruise Nation resolved the issue so that the cruise could go ahead.

The day before we were due to return our flights were cancelled. The support from Cruise Nation to sort this out was appalling. Basically go to the airport and sort it out yourself. Phenomenal customer service from start to finish. Would definitely recommend booking a cruise (especially 'Smart a package') through this company. Well done Cruise Nation. Also after booking we had to change our return flights and Laurin efficiently and accurately made the amendments - keeping us fully informed at all times.

Cancelled without notice on 29/12/21. 2 Months on & I have just received an email telling me to claim on my insurance for the failings of Cruise Nation & Cunard. Zero help. Didn't even give me a breakdown of costs for me to claim. Stay away from this company if you value your money or require any kind of service.
