In the penultimate episode of “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” Bruce Springsteen comes down with COVID after meeting Larry David.

As a result, his “Bruce Springsteen” character had to put his “farewell tour” on hold and the audience was led to believe “he may never sing again.”

Thankfully, the 74-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer is COVID-free and midway through an arena tour , that, as far as we know, is not his last.

Based on our findings, Springsteen and his E Street Band have 21 concerts lined up all over North America from now up until November this year.

Along the way, they’ll stop into Albany’s MVP Arena on Monday, April 15 and Syracuse’s JMA Wireless Dome on Thursday, April 18.

They’ll also headline the 2024 Sea.Hear.Now Festival in Asbury Park, NJ on Sunday, Sept. 15 along with Noah Kahan , The Gaslight Anthem , Trey Anastasio Band , and more.

For fans who want to catch The Boss live this year, tickets are available for all upcoming gigs.

On Friday, Sept. 1, 2023, the New York Post saw Springsteen in concert at East Rutherford, NJ’s MetLife Stadium.

Bruce Springsteen recovery

Shortly after Springsteen’s three-concert stint at MetLife last year, he postponed the rest of his tour due to a peptic ulcer disease.

“Bruce Springsteen has continued to recover steadily from peptic ulcer disease over the past few weeks and will continue treatment through the rest of the year on doctor’s advice,” the group shared on  Instagram last September.

In his first show back at Phoenix’s Footprint Center, Springsteen addressed the postponement.

“Phoenix, first I want to apologize if there was any discomfort because we had to move the show last time,” Springsteen said to the crowd. “I hope we didn’t inconvenience you too much.”

Are you ready to scream your head off with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band?

The much-anticipated North American stadium leg of the Springsteen and E Street world tour is official, and dates include multiple shows at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford on Aug. 30 and Sept. 1, as well as Citizens Bank Ballpark in Philadelphia on Aug. 16 and 18.

The newly announced shows include arena dates on the West Coast and Canada. Tickets, the price of which were not immediately released, go on sale over the course of the next two weeks, with the first onsale beginning at 10 a.m. Friday Feb. 17, for the Aug. 9 show at Wrigley Field in Chicago. Tickets for the East Rutherford shows go on sale Friday, Feb. 24.

The East Rutherford shows, and others, will be using Verified Fan via Ticketmaster. Verified Fan requires pre-registration at verifiedfan.ticketmaster.com/springsteen and is open through Sunday, Feb. 19, at 11:59 p.m ET.

Some tour shows will not be using Ticketmaster, including the Philly shows. They go on sale through the venue on Feb. 28. Tickets sold out quickly for the U.S. arena tour — which went on sale after the European stadium shows. Some fans were upset at the pricing of the U.S. shows as the cost of some “platinum” tickets went up to $5,000.

The average price of the tickets is $262, according to Ticketmaster and Springsteen's camp, and 56 percent were sold under $200. Prices vary, depending on where you live. Secondary market tickets on Ticketmaster start at $468 for the upcoming show in Newark, but they’re $95 for Kansas City, Mo., and $59 for Tulsa, Okla.

Springsteen teased the stadium concerts on the May 6, 2020, episode of his “From My Home, To Yours” show on SiriusXM.

“All I can tell you is when this experience is over, I am going to throw the wildest party you have ever seen and you my friends are all invited,” said Springsteen during the COVID-19 quarantine. “As hard as it is to believe right now, your children will go back to school. Churches will be open and full.

"You will once again hug and kiss family members at your gatherings. You will shout over the noise of a crowded bar to order a drink and to speak to your friends. You will buy a hot dog at Yankee Stadium. You will walk through the streets of your hometown free and easy. You may hold a complete stranger on a crowded dance floor, and 50,000 people will once again scream their heads off somewhere in New Jersey.”

Springsteen later quipped to the USA Today Network NJ that the party will begin at Jersey Freeze in Freehold, then head north.

'My Hometown': Tour the Jersey Shore spots that Bruce Springsteen made famous

Early dates of the arena tour have been affected by COVID. E Street Band members Little Steven Van Zandt and Soozie Tyrell missed the group's Friday, Feb. 10, show at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. Tyrell also missed the previous show at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Fla.

The E Street Band is Roy Bittan, piano, synthesizer; Nils Lofgren, guitar, vocals; Patti Scialfa, guitar, vocals; Garry Tallent, bass guitar; Stevie Van Zandt, guitar, vocals; and Max Weinberg, drums; with Soozie Tyrell, violin, guitar, vocals; Jake Clemons, saxophone; and Charlie Giordano, keyboards.

Three hours into Bruce Springsteen ‘s epic return to Los Angeles on Thursday night with the E Street Band, he stared down the sold-out crowd at the Forum. “Do you have anything left?” he shouted, midway through “Twist and Shout,” the second-to-last song of his first L.A. show in eight years. Five decades in, the magic of a Springsteen show remains: He always seems to have a little bit left in the tank. 

The 2024 version of the tour has been looser than last year’s, which stuck fairly close to a single set list, and Thursday was no exception. Springsteen kicked off with a true rarity, a cover of John Lee Hooker’s “Boom Boom” (most frequently played on the Tunnel of Love Express Tour back in 1988), before jumping into “Lonesome Day” (rarely played last year, but now a staple in the set) and “Prove It All Night,” then his live -favorite arena-rock reworking of Jimmy Cliff’s “Trapped.”

Springsteen maintains a remarkably simple setup and show presentation compared to the other blockbuster live shows currently on the road. The visuals are limited to video screens and elegant stage lights, keeping the focus on the 17 musicians onstage with him. He doesn’t really need much else.

From there, the show was all joy and catharsis, with an unbroken string of hits and live favorites, beginning with Nils Lofgren’s jaw-dropping guitar virtuosity on “Because the Night,” and inevitably reaching “Thunder Road” and “Born to Run.” As he has throughout the tour, Springsteen finished the show alone with his meditation on life after death, “I’ll See You in My Dreams.”

Ticket sales for all three upcoming men’s UEFA club competition finals and the UEFA Super Cup have started exclusively via UEFA.com/tickets and will run until 11:00 CEST on 16 April.

As in previous years, fans of the participating teams and the general public are being allocated the majority of tickets and general public tickets will not be sold on a first come, first served basis but through a lottery that will be conducted after the application period has ended.

Tickets available in the most affordable category, ‘ Fans First ’, will be exclusively reserved for fans of the clubs playing in the three finals. The sale and allocation process for tickets reserved for the fans of the finalist teams is being arranged directly with the clubs involved.

On the UEFA ticket portals for the three club competition finals, applicants can choose whether they want to enter the lottery regardless of the finalists or only if their team qualifies. For the lottery, the ticket quota will be allocated fairly between these two groups of applicants, taking into account the number of applications received within each group.

Tickets will be delivered via the UEFA Mobile Tickets app a few days before the match. Ticket holders will need to download the official app, which is available for Android and iPhone users. The app allows fans to securely download, transfer, keep and assign guest tickets anytime and anywhere. The FAQ section of the app includes videos on how to use mobile tickets.

Prices and ticket allocations for fans and general public are indicated below. The remaining tickets outside these allocations are for the local organising structure, UEFA’s member national associations, commercial partners, broadcasters and UEFA.

2024 UEFA Europa League final

The 2024 UEFA Europa League final will be played at Dublin Arena in the Republic of Ireland on Wednesday 22 May at 21:00 CEST (20:00 local time).

A total of 36,000 tickets out of 48,000 are available directly for fans and the general public to purchase. The two teams that reach the final will receive 12,000 tickets each, while the remaining tickets are being offered for sale to fans worldwide via UEFA.com/tickets . Each successful applicant will be able to purchase up to four tickets in the allocated price category.

A total of 21,000 tickets out of 27,100 are available directly for fans and the general public to purchase. The two teams that reach the final will receive 9,000 tickets each, while the remaining tickets are being offered for sale to fans worldwide via UEFA.com/tickets . The two teams that reach the final will receive 25,000 tickets each, while the remaining tickets are being offered for sale to fans worldwide via UEFA.com/tickets . Each successful applicant will be notified by email and will be able to purchase up to two tickets in the allocated price category.

All available general public tickets, which were put on sale in March , have been sold. Information on further ticket availability will be communicated via UEFA.com and the ticketing portal.

Will it be easy to find my way in the Moscow Metro? It is a question many visitors ask themselves before hitting the streets of the Russian capital. As metro is the main means of transport in Moscow – fast, reliable and safe – having some skills in using it will help make your visit more successful and smooth. On top of this, it is the most beautiful metro in the world !

. There are over 220 stations and 15 lines in the Moscow Metro. It is open from 6 am to 1 am. Trains come very frequently: during the rush hour you won't wait for more than 90 seconds! Distances between stations are quite long – 1,5 to 2 or even 3 kilometers. Metro runs inside the city borders only. To get to the airport you will need to take an onground train - Aeroexpress.

RATES AND TICKETS

Paper ticket A fee is fixed and does not depend on how far you go. There are tickets for a number of trips: 1, 2 or 60 trips; or for a number of days: 1, 3 days or a month. Your trips are recorded on a paper ticket. Ifyou buy a ticket for several trips you can share it with your traveling partner passing it from one to the other at the turnstile.

On every station there is cashier and machines (you can switch it to English). Cards and cash are accepted. 1 trip - 55 RUB 2 trips - 110 RUB

Tickets for 60 trips and day passes are available only at the cashier's.

1 day - 230 RUB 3 days - 438 RUB 30 days - 2170 RUB.

The cheapest way to travel is buying Troyka card . It is a plastic card you can top up for any amount at the machine or at the ticket office. With it every trip costs 38 RUB in the metro and 21 RUB in a bus. You can get the card in any ticket office. Be prepared to leave a deposit of 50 RUB. You can get it back returning the card to the cashier.

One turnstile at every station accept PayPass and payments with phones. It has a sticker with the logos and located next to the security's cabin.

GETTING ORIENTED

At the platfrom you will see one of these signs.

It indicates the line you are at now (line 6), shows the direction train run and the final stations. Numbers below there are of those lines you can change from this line.

In trains, stations are announced in Russian and English. In newer trains there are also visual indication of there you are on the line.

To change lines look for these signs. This one shows the way to line 2.

There are also signs on the platfrom. They will help you to havigate yourself. (To the lines 3 and 5 in this case).
