Skopelos beaches are rocky and Skiathos beaches are more sandy. The main town is Skopelos Town. There are many places to stay and many restaurants and bars on the waterfront. My favorite low budget place to stay is Sotos Pension (about 20 Euros per night) and my favorite high end place is Skopelos Village (ranges from 90-200 Euros per night.
