Our Dodds family business is committed to providing a professional and friendly service, from your first point of contact to your safe return home, making us the perfect choice.

Since 1910, we have offered coach hire for all manner of groups and events.  We also offer our own day tours from Ayrshire, packaged coach holidays from N Ireland, Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway and we now have a Tailored Group Travel department.

Situated within walking distance of the charming town of Solihull. Enjoy the newly refurbished, contemporary bedrooms which are thoughtfully furnished, treat yourself to a swim in the indoor pool, relax in the sauna or work out in the gym which features modern weight and cardio equipment. (lift)

Depart from your selected joining point and travel to Voco St John's Hotel, Solihull. Comfort stops will be made en-route.

Pass Anne Hathaway's Cottage and then experience Stratford-upon-Avon, a town synonymous with William Shakespeare and a lively medieval market town with many brilliant attractions. Why not walk in the footsteps of Shakespeare and discover the house he was born in.

Discover the charming Cotswolds with its rustic rural charm, rolling hills, vibrant market towns and picture-perfect villages built of honey-coloured stone. Today explore the pretty market towns of Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold and the beautiful village of Broadway.

Visit the picturesque medieval town of Tewkesbury on market day. With a rich, vibrant history and beautiful waterside setting, there is plenty to see. Perhaps, visit the Abbey or one of the many museums; or relax and enjoy a boat trip around the riverside town. Also visit Cheltenham, a charming spa town on the edge of the Cotswolds, filled with historic architecture. Stroll through the streets, listed as one of the best shopping streets in the UK.

Spend the morning in Burford, known for its antique shopping, ancient buildings, medieval almshouses, impressive church and three-arched medieval bridge. Afterwards, visit the fabulous Blenheim Palace, birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. Explore 300 years of history and acres of parklands and gardens at this stunning location in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside.

After breakfast you leave Solihull and travel home. Comfort stops will be made en-route.

3 Day Loch Ness & Skye

Never been to Scotland before and was meant to hire a car but booked the 3 day Lock Ness and Isle of Skye tour instead - I am SO happy we did! Our guide Tim was funny, knowledgable, just a straight up good bloke. It was lovely to go visit less-touristy destinations in Scotland and hear the history of the areas and attractions along the way. We went for lots of lovely hikes, saw stunning views, pet Highland cows, did Scottish dancing, and drank free whiskey! Tim’s daughter came and sang beautifully for us at the isle of Skye. We stayed at a private guesthouse in Skye and lakeside at Loch Ness, waking up to magical views. We feel very lucky to have had such a fantastic guide and tour and would absolutely book again with Macpackers. We made amazing friends along the way with the other guests on the tour. Can’t complain! 10/10.

The tour guide, Linda, was great as was the coach driver, Mike. The coach was very comfortable and the sites we visited were great. The tour was well organized and well executed. The meals were very good as well. The only thing making this “good” and not “excellent” is that I had to sleep on a pullout couch for three nights of the tour which much surprised me for something billed as a first class tour. So if you plan to go three to a room, be prepared for someone to be on a couch.

4-Day Islay & the Whisky Coast Small-Group Tour from Edinburgh Including Admissions

Our guide William was excellent. He regaled us with historical facts about Scotland during the beautiful (but winding) drive from Edinburgh to the Ferry for our trip over to Islay. He even created a playlist of regional Scottish music to further immerse us in the Scottish folklore. He used his guile to get us into a couple of unscheduled tastings as well. It was clear that the distillery operators were confident that those getting off Rabbie's Van were enthusiastically well prepared and we were treated as honored guests. I was glad I had arranged for lodging when I booked through TourRadar as the town was limited in lodging during the busy weekend and we were scattered about a bit. Dinner was on our own in the town of Bowmore, and some places required reservations. I went alone on the trip and felt right at home with the 14 other guests from all around the world who had also come to learn more about this special Isle and it's history of whiskey making (it's all about the Peat...)

4 Day Islay Whisky Tour

Great Tour and fabulous Guide that you don't recognise in the guide selection. Shame the survey is not as great as Brian Sharp is. He went out of his way to make us welcome and ensured we were always happy. He has a great depth of knowledge which he shared in describing the places we visited. He maintained a comfortable schedule and made sure we were always on time for each visit. You couldn't get a better person in my view.

Scottish Highlands & Islands

Guide Margerie and Driver Allister excellent. The tour occasionally strenuous; bus rides whole day. Bus quite confortable; Wi-Fi appreciated. Expected more meals included. Big Tour group - 44 Pax - a bit too many for my taste. When I inquired I was told max will be 35.....for me more acceptable. Hotel's fine except Isle of Skye: "Dunollie"- I had a claustrophobic room; no idea where to put my suitcase. After all the add. single room supplement is not little. Itinerary very interesting.

Visited great sites. Very friendly guide who also told us a lot about the places and history. Absolutely worth its money.

This tour really exceeded all expectations even after having read all other positive reviews beforehand! Countless stunning views, a looot of quality time and real authentic Scottish experiences like taking part in a traditional Ceilidh (a social gathering with group dances) or a magical, small private live folk concert in the two hostels that both work together with the guides. The hostels are on the most amazing spots and really are great accomodations. Our guide was not only very knowledgable about every part of the land and history that we came through (and is just an overall outgoing, super friendly and funny person), but was really able to make the best possible tour for the given time. Cheers to you Tim and thank you again for this simply amazing time that I was able to spent with you and the group. I will certainly never forget that!

Branka was an amazing tour guide! Her love for the Isle of Skye and the Highlands really came through. Her energy and humor made for a wonderful tour. We got to spend a lot of time off the bus hiking and exploring (much more so than the people on other tour companies' buses). The scenery and hikes were gorgeous, and the folklore Branka shared added to the atmosphere. Definitely recommend this tour!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Bonnie Scotland tour. The location was beautiful and the trip well organized. Our tour guide, Gavin, was simply the best. Loved the experience!!
