Great experience. Guides were very helpful on our 2 hour ride. Horses were healthy and well maintained. First class operation.
Fantastic experience. 2 hours of heaven on a hoof. My family was well attended to by the staff throughout the tour. The horses were well trained and as an experienced horseman I felt well attended to during the 2 hour trail-ride.
Me and my wife did an hour tour with Leland on our last day in Angel Fire on our honeymoon. He told us he wanted to make it special and he did. He paired us with horses that perfectly matched our skill level. He also took a bunch of pictures for us to remember our time on the trail. Leland and all of the staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating. We can’t wait to come out again to Angel Fire and do a longer ride. P.S. ask for Leland!
We had a phenomenal 1/2 day ride with Leland. He listened to our interests and tailored the ride to our ability. He is an impressive cowboy. Thank you!!
This is our second year in a row to go on a horseback riding tour with this outfit. Both time have been fun a d memorable. The guides are profession, funny, and patient, particularly when you have a group of riders with varying riding experience. Our daughter is 7 and rode her own horse, despite having minimal experience. The ride through the Carson National Forest provided some amazing scenery.
Just returned from the 90-minute horseback ride and couldn't be more pleased! Perfect weather and beautiful scenery to compliment the experience. Our guide, Eloy, was knowledgeable, patient and enthusiastic about horses and the forest. The online booking was a little sketchy so being a bit flexible came in helpful. I commend Nancy Burch for providing a laid-back and comfortable way to enjoy the beauty of this area!

Horseback Riding Tours and Lessons in the Enchanted Circle
Beginner Lessons: Saddle Up! Get to know your horse and basic maneuvers. Advanced: Giddy-up! Come to a greater understanding of riding and commands.
1 hour ride for beginners! Barn tour for guests that have never ridden. Riders with some experience can be taken directly to the forest.
One of our most popular summer tours. Half-day or full-day horseback rides into the Carson National Forest. All panning supplies and lessons provided. Packed lunch is included.
An hour and a half ride in the Carson National Forest, ideal for riders who do not have much experience and children.
A two hour ride in the Carson National Forest, complete with great views and chances to see wildlife. One of our most popular and recommended rides, the High Country Tour provides enough time to truly experience the nature and beauty of the Carson National Forest.
For our Wilderness Tour, we offer a three hour ride in the Carson National Forest. This ride gives you ample time to connect with your horse and nature. There are beautiful views and plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities on this particular tour. A favorite amongst our guests!
A four hour ride in the Carson National Forest, the High Meadows tour follows a gorgeous trail up to the high meadows above Angel Fire where our guests can enjoy a mountain top lunch. This tour is jam packed with views, picture opportunities and wildlife viewing chances.
A seven hour ride through the Carson National Forest, the all day ride gives our guests the opportunity to explore new trails and see a large part of the forest. This ride also includes a mountain top lunch. Obviously, this ride provides plenty of views, wild life viewing, photo opportunities, and time to connect with your horse and nature.
A three hour tour through the Carson National forest, our Chuckwagon Tour also includes a rustic Chuckwagon meal at the Roadrunner's base camp! Our guests can choose between hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken, steak, or a vegetarian option.

Neither of my boys had ridden a horse before so I was a little nervous but she had them turned into cowboys in no time. My youngest, and most fearful, said it was the best thing he'd done.
