Unlimited Free Snorkeling

After your Sea Trek, feel free to hang around and snorkel with our complimentary snorkeling rental gear. You can snorkel until 4:00 P.M. closing time. Tip: Schedule your Sea Trek early so you have plenty of time to snorkel afterwards!

Timing of the tour is estimated and subject to alterations and money-back cancellation depending on weather conditions.

Planning Your Day

We understand that you want to get the most out of your day in Isla Cozumel but it is important to allow a little extra time and flexibility in your itinerary. While we try our best to stay on schedule there are times especially with large groups or during peak season that may slow us down a bit. We do not suggest that you schedule other time-sensitive activities immeiately after your Sea Trek.

Restrictions

Participants must be at least 8 years of age and weigh at least 80 pounds (36.3 Kg). This tour is not recommended for those with back/neck injuries, history of seizures, vertigo, recent surgeries, heart conditions, or asthma.

TWO LOCATIONS: • Downtown at Jeanie's Beach Club • Chankanaab Beach Adventure Park

The Historic Downtown location is great if you're looking to combine shopping, restaurants and monuments in your day's itinerary.

Chankanaab Park is a natural setting with other activities like a small beach, Mayan village and saltwater lagoon. The entarnce fee to Chankanaab Park ($26usd per adult) is not included in your Sea Trek tour purchase.

Transportation is not included in this adventure. Reservations required, no walk-ups

By Ferry from Playa del Carmen

Take the ferry 90 minutes to two hours before your scheduled time. Arrive at the ferry terminal in Playa del Carmen at least 15 minutes before departure. Once in Cozumel you can take a 12 minute walk south (turn right as you exit the pier) to the downtown location inside Jeanie's Beach Club. If you don't feel like walking, you can also take a taxi ride to Jeanie's or to the Chankanaab Park location.

We suggest a short taxi ride from the ferry pier, cruise ship pier or your hotel here in Cozumel.

If you are arriving on a Cruise ship, then allow 30 minutes from docking to cover any delay in embarkation.

If you are coming from Playa del Carmen, the Ferry ride to Cozumel lasts 30 minutes, and costs only $6usd each way. Ferries depart every hour both ways starting at 7am until 11pm.

Make sure to catch a Ferry at least 1 hour before your scheduled depart time.

Start this fun day on the island of Cozumel by hopping on a ferry in Playa del Carmen. Then kick back and relax for 40 minutes while you are treated to spectacular views while gliding over the Caribbean. For your comfort, the ferry has facilities, snacks, and drinks. Consumables are not included in the price. Sit up top and enjoy ocean breezes, or watch the sights from the large viewing windows below with air conditioning.

When you arrive on the island, you will meet at a location that is a short walk from the ferry. That is where the friendly, English-speaking staff is waiting with your reservation. This one sells out quickly so you must book in advance or risk missing out. Blue Water Sea Trek shore excursion group size is kept small with a maximum of 8 per departure only! The trained guide will show you where to secure your belongings and then the fun begins. They will go over the safety instructions, the equipment that you will be using, and what to expect. You will also learn the hand signals that you will use to communicate underwater. The concept is relatively simple. A continuous flow of air into the helmet keeps the water out. Think of the helmet as a glass you turn upside down and push into a bucket of water. Physics keeps the water out and your head dry. The SeaTrek helmet will go over your head and rest on your shoulders. Once you are ready, the guides will assist you into the water from the little beach area via a ladder. The water level will come up and stop at your shoulders (remember physics). Your face and head will stay dry so this is one of the few underwater activities where you can wear your prescription glasses. The bottom of the sea is just 20ft down basically like the bottom of a diving pool. The Cozumel Sea Trek helmet diving cruise excursion guide will lead your group on a walk where you will bounce along in virtual weightlessness sort of like the astronauts on the moon! They will show you the many colorful tropical fish, play games, and lead you on a fun exploration for about 25 minutes. You will then return to the ladder where you will be assisted out. You then have a mini beach break where you will enjoy 2 beverages from the domestic bar that includes bottled water, beer, soft drinks, mixed drinks, etc. You may stay and relax on the small beach area, use the provided snorkel gear, stretch out in one of the beach chairs and head back when you are ready. • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.

Join us on one of the most unforgettable interactive SeaTREK ® in Miami . Come into an Underwater walking journey through our 3000,000-gallon tropical reef while wearing a state-of-the-art dive helmet that allows you to breathe freely, you’ll feel right at home under the sea. As you explore our reef you’ll discover unique experiences around every corner. During your 25 minute journey, you’ll encounter tropical fish, sting rays, and a variety of unique sea creatures. Become truly immersed in our tropical reef as our divers feed schools of fish and majestic rays.

Dolphin encounter.

This fun-filled, 30-minute program is a great way for young and old alike to have an unforgettable experience with a dolphin. During an Encounter, the dolphin swims to you while you stand in just a few feet of water. Do things like shake hands,and even try out some training signals. Each session is unique.

Dolphin Odyssey

Explore the ocean’s most loved creatures during this deep-water experience. You’ll have approximately 30 minutes to share all sorts of behaviors,including handshakes, rubs, training techniques and feeding your new friend. The experience is highlighted by an awesome dorsal pull. Each session in unique.

Our VIP Tour is an interactive 2 1/2-hour program where you may have the opportunity to get up-close and personal with some of our exotic animal friends. A personal tour guide will take you on a fascinating adventure.

Our Seal Swim program is a unique deep and shallow water interaction with harbor seals. During your 15-20 minute interaction, you’ll be swimming freely alongside our seals and then be introduced to your special seal friend to receive hugs, kisses, and take part in a fun training session.
