Abstract: This research focuses on the current trend of international MBA study tours as a niche segment of educational travel and a future business model for tourist destinations. The purpose of this study is to gain a better understanding of MBA study tours and to validate that they are a significant travel segment for the tourism industry to pursue actively. MBA study tours area niche travel market for educational trips, which is, in turn, a subsection of a significant youth travel market. This research paper uses a quantitative methods approach to gain insights into the MBA study tours phenomenon. The researchers analyzed an in-depth survey of graduate business schools in North America in late 2016 and the beginning of 2017of full-time, part-time and EMBA programs. Findings established Asia as the most preferred destination of MBA study tours with the majority of tours staying seven to fourteen days. Visiting cultural attractions and companies are top priorities of MBA students with price being the least important factor in choosing a destination. More than a third of MBA groups preferred to stay at four to five-star hotels and half preferred to book three-star. Key findings confirm that this affluent tourism market-segment of well-educated travelers visit one country or multiple destinations per trip, visit tourist attractions, stay on average 9-14 days, book at business class to up-market hotels, spend three times more than leisure tourists, and prefer to return to visited destinations in the future

The Philippines, through tourism, aspires to become a stronger player in the integrated travel industry of today. Yet, the country realizes that in order to do so, it must conserve, protect and strengthen the cultural, historical and natural resources upon which the Philippines draws its unique competitive advantages. All these in a manner that can be sustained for the benefit and enjoyment of future generations of Filipinos. This book, a collection of research papers funded by the Philippine APEC Study Center Network (PASCN), reflects the scope and complexity of sustainable tourism development. The various papers also mirror the complexity of sustainable tourism development and hint at the multidisciplinary approach that this mode of tourism needs to succeed. Each paper applies a different disciplinary framework to its particular tourism problem: economics, sociology, anthropology, environmental science, management science, human resources development, and others. Each paper also provides a unique academic angle on sustainability and tourism.

Aim: The Covid illness 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic and related lockdown could be viewed as a 'amazing tempest' for increments in passionate trouble. Such increments can just be recognized by contemplates that utilization information gathered previously and during the pandemic. Longitudinal information is additionally expected to analyze the parts of past trouble and stressors in passionate pain during the pandemic and (2) how COVID-19-related stressors and adapting techniques are related with enthusiastic pain when pre-pandemic trouble is accounted for. Methods: Information originated from an associate report (N = 768). Enthusiastic misery (saw pressure, disguising indications, and outrage), COVID-19-related stressors, and adapting systems were estimated during the pandemic/lockdown when members were matured 22. Our current research was conducted at Jinnah Hospital, Lahore from March 2020 to September 2020. Past misery what's more, stressors were estimated before COVID-19 (at age 20). Results: Overall, members demonstrated expanded degrees of saw pressure and outrage (yet not disguising manifestations) during the pandemic contrasted with previously. Pre-COVID-19 passionate trouble was the most grounded indicator of during-pandemic enthusiastic misery, trailed by during-pandemic monetary and psychosocial stressors (for example way of life and financial disturbances) furthermore, misery, and pre-pandemic social stressors (for example tormenting exploitation and upsetting life functions). Most wellbeing dangers to self or friends and family because of COVID-19 were definitely not extraordinarily connected with enthusiastic trouble in conclusive models. Adapting methodologies related with decreased pain included keeping a day by day normal, physical movement, and positive reappraisal/reexamining. Conclusion: In our locale test, pre-pandemic misery, auxiliary results of the pandemic (for example way of life and financial interruptions), and pre-pandemic social stressors were all the more reliably connected with youthful grown-ups' passionate pain than COVID-19-related wellbeing hazard presentations.

Do investments in soft skills pay off in terms of student achievement? This paper evaluates a large private-sector program in this area, EPIS, based on individual and small-group sessions of mediators that seek to improve the non-cognitive skills (e.g. motivation, self-esteem, conscientiousness) of selected students. Our quasi-experimental evidence is drawn from rich longitudinal student data and the different timings of the roll-out of the program, within and across schools. The results highlight the potential of targeted, small-group, non-cognitive interventions, as we find that the EPIS program reduced grade retention by at least 10 percentage points and did so in a cost-effective manner.

Back propagation (BP) neural network is known for its popularity and its capability in prediction and classification. BP used gradient descent (GD) method as one of the most widely used error minimization methods used to train back propagation (BP) networks. Besides its popularity BP still faces some limitation such as very slow in learning as well as easily get stuck at local minima. Many techniques have been introduced to improve BP performance. This research implements second order method together with gradient descent in order to improve its performance. The efficiency of both methods are verified and compared by means of simulations on classifying drug addict repetition. The results show that the second order methods are more reliable and significantly improves the learning performance of BP.
