Montalcino Wine Tour

There were 7 of us that took the tour to the Montalcino area. Our driver Emiliano picked us up from our place near Florence and it took about 1-1/2 hours to get to the first winery. We had a Mercedes van that fit us all comfortable but of course, in can be a bit challenging for some people to get into that third row. We tasted at 3 wineries: Col di Lamo, Roggio Rubino and Patrizia Cencioni. All 3 offered excellent tastings and we had a great lunch at Roggio Rubino as well. Keep in mind that this area appears to specialize in the Brunello varietal that we all found enjoyable. Overall, very good experience. Emiliano is a fantastic driver and great tour guide. Highly, highly recommend.

My wife and I were traveling with friends in Tuscany and worked with Maurizio on the all day Chianti tour. First, Maurizio was very responsive and accommodating. When I told him we had visited two wineries he made sure we did not visit the same ones on our tour. Great to work with. Maurizio then paired us up with Giuseppe who was an incredible tour guide. The vehicle was very nice and clean and he was very knowledgeable and provided background and insight to the entire region. He took us to three beautiful and very good wineries and we saw parts of Tuscany we would never had otherwise seen. In conclusion, it was a day the six of us will never forget thanks to Giuseppe. I highly recommend the tour and this enterprise. Thank you Maurizio and Giuseppe.

We had a wonderful tour with our driver Ciro. He was informative and did a fantastic job showing the Tuscany. I would recommend this tour to any and all of my friends. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable day. It is well worth it to go on this tour.

Maurizio planned a delightful wine tour of three excellent Chianti Classico wineries, one of which served a delicious lunch on a terrace overlooking the vineyard covered hills of the region. In addition to amazing wines and views, the highlight of our day was enjoying the knowledge, humor and driving skills of Emiliano, our tour guide. Make sure you request him.

We did an all day wine tour in Tuscany with Ciro as our driver. The tour focused on Brunello wines. We stopped at 3 wineries for tasting and one of the wineries had a lunch pairing for us. Beautiful wine, food and country side. There were 3 couples. The van was spotless and Ciro was a very safe driver. Would not hesitate to use again.

What a wonderful tour! Emiliano was our driver and he was on time, very welcoming, and knowledgeable about the region. We visited San Gimignano, had an excellent lunch at a vineyard, and completed the day to a trip to casa Emma, where our guide/ server was also Emiliano and was wonderful. So basically, if his name is Emiliano, book it.

This was our first tour. It was very informative and the cities that were explored were both interesting and beautiful. Unfortunately Italy was experiencing a heat wave and all the walking turned into a lot of sweating ( not your fault ). If in the future we go on another tour... it will be with Tourradar.

The Best of Tuscany - 4Days/3Nights

The tour was very good and gave me the great opportunity to know more about Florence and the Toscany region. The tour guide was also very good and he was really passionate about this region and its history. The only thing, I really don’t understand and I find really disappointing, is the price of the tour, because it was composed by three individual tours that bought separately (plus the hostel) is less expensive than the tour having it all combined. So I think it was expensive and I suggest other people to buy the day tours individually and directly in their own website. Details: The grape escape - 60 eur + Pizza & Cinque Terre - 69 eur + hostel 3 nights - 50 eur (based on what I’ve paid for 1 night, so not taking into account that they agree better prices) + orientation walk of Florence - 22 eur = 201 eur. I don’t really know the commission to tour radar, but I’ve paid almost 300 eur. I should have had time to investigate this previously - my fault!!

The agency organized for us every day a cultural visit ( volterra, San Gimignano,Siena) combined with a rich wine and food tasting, visit of wine cellars...vineyards lunches...everything simply wonderful and comfortable with our van and private driver . A mention for the accommodation booked, a historical palace in the centre of Colle Val D'Elsa. We loved the wine tasting and walk in the Brunello vineyards! And Bolgheri is so a tiny and charming village! Definitely recommended

The first 7 days were excellent with Clara, our tour guide. She was knowledgeable, coordinated the schedule to make sure everything was on time and everyone was included. She was also fun and interesting with a good sense of humor. The tour guide for the last three day, Ludovica, was not communicative or very friendly. On the day we arrived in Sorrento we were dropped off at a street corner and told our hotel was just up the road. It turns out the hotel was over a mile uphill and Ludovica never mentioned that the hotel would provide a shuttle. We ended up climbing up the hill with our luggage in very hot weather. It is very disappointing that the tour guide did not communicate this.

Trip of a lifetime. Could not have been any better. Would recommend to others.

This was an amazing tour. The itinerary, tour guides, and hotels were all up to the mark; definitely suggest.

Basically a tour that consisted of hotels, transport by train and a couple of short walking tours. We knew that before we went and so was fine. The addition of an extra night in Rome is needed with tickets for Colleseum and Palatine Hill on one day. We did this by ourselves although it was a lot of hassle trying to get tickets for the Colleseum and got ripped off.
