If you would like to learn more about our available inventory, we invite you to browse our online catalog and submit a quote request. You can also contact our sales team by phone for more personalized service.
How much do tour buses cost?
Master’s Transportation’s large inventory allows us to offer extremely competitive pricing on all new and used motor coaches and travel vans. Our prices are some of the lowest in the industry because we receive volume discounts from our long-standing partners in manufacturing.
With that being said, several factors will impact the cost of your bus or van. These factors include the model, age, mileage, equipment package, and financing method you select.
Can I finance a new or used travel bus?
Yes, Master’s Transportation offers several financing and leasing options , including:
- Operational leases
- Short-term lease
- Financed leases
- Trac leases
- Purchase financing
Our tour buses can be leased for seasonal or yearly time frames, depending on your needs.
Leasing is an excellent choice due to the ongoing semiconductor chip shortage, which has limited the in-stock inventory of our tour buses for sale.
If you are looking for a way to unlock additional savings, take advantage of the Section 179 IRS deduction to reduce your tax obligations.
Do you offer repair services or parts for tour vehicles?
Of course we do! Beyond sales and rentals, we also serve as a reliable partner for tour bus repair and maintenance services, in addition to having access to thousands of parts for commercial vehicles spanning a wide range of makes and models.
How many passengers can a tour bus hold?
The seating capacity of your vehicle will vary greatly depending on which model you choose. For instance, our tour vans typically carry between 10-15 passengers whereas our large motor coaches can accommodate as many as 75 tourists. We also offer intermediate-sized tour buses that can accommodate 15-30 guests.
Do tour bus drivers need a CDL?
Tour bus drivers must possess a CDL if they are operating a vehicle that can accommodate more than 15 passengers. Tour vans or buses that carry 15 passengers or less do not require a CDL to drive.
Can I buy a tour bus that is located in another city or state?
Of course! Master’s Transportation offers nationwide delivery. If you have found the perfect tour bus, but it is located outside of your state of residence, give us a call. We can arrange for the vehicle to be delivered straight to you.
Can I rent one of your tour buses or vans?

How Much Does a Tour Bus Cost? Exploring Prices for Buying, Renting, and More
By Happy Sharer
Introduction
When it comes to planning a vacation or special event, one of the most important questions to answer is: how much does a tour bus cost? The answer depends on several factors, including the type of bus, the size and capacity, age and condition, features and amenities, brand and model, location, and availability. In this article, we will explore all these factors in detail to help you better understand what goes into the cost of a tour bus and make an informed decision.
Comparing the Cost of Different Types of Tour Buses
Before we dive into the specifics of the cost of a tour bus, let’s take a look at the different types available. Some of the most common types of tour buses are sleeper buses, luxury coaches, mini buses, coach buses, and school buses. Each type has its own unique features and amenities, which will impact the cost.
For example, a luxury coach bus typically has more amenities than a school bus, such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a restroom. As such, you can expect to pay more for a luxury coach bus than a school bus.
In addition to the type of bus, other factors that will affect the cost include the size and capacity, age and condition, features and amenities, brand and model, location, and availability. To give you an idea of the range in prices, here are some examples of the cost of different types of tour buses:
- Sleeper bus: $150,000 – $500,000
- Luxury coach: $200,000 – $1 million
- Mini bus: $50,000 – $100,000
- Coach bus: $100,000 – $400,000
- School bus: $10,000 – $50,000
Breaking Down the Average Price of a Tour Bus
Now that we have a general idea of the range in prices for different types of tour buses, let’s take a closer look at the average price of a tour bus. According to research from the American Bus Association, the average price of a tour bus is around $125,000.
However, this number can vary depending on several factors, such as the size and capacity, age and condition, features and amenities, brand and model, location, and availability. For example, a newer model with more features and amenities is likely to cost more than an older model with fewer features and amenities.
To help you get a better idea of the range in prices, here are some examples of the average cost of different types of tour buses:
- Sleeper bus: $250,000
- Luxury coach: $350,000
- Mini bus: $75,000
- Coach bus: $175,000
- School bus: $25,000
Exploring the Factors That Impact Tour Bus Prices
Now that we have a better idea of the average price of a tour bus, let’s take a closer look at the factors that influence the cost. Here are some of the most important factors to consider when determining the cost of a tour bus:
Size and Capacity
The size and capacity of the bus will play a big role in the cost. Generally speaking, the larger the bus, the more expensive it will be. The same is true for the capacity; the higher the capacity, the higher the cost.
Age and Condition
The age and condition of the bus also have an impact on the cost. A newer model with fewer miles is likely to cost more than an older model with more miles. Additionally, the condition of the bus will play a role in the cost; if the bus is in good condition, it will cost more than if it is in poor condition.
Features and Amenities
The features and amenities of the bus also have an impact on the cost. A bus with more features and amenities, such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a restroom, is likely to cost more than a bus with fewer features and amenities.
Brand and Model
The brand and model of the bus will also influence the cost. Generally speaking, a bus from a well-known brand is likely to cost more than a bus from an unknown brand.
Location and Availability
Finally, the location and availability of the bus will have an impact on the cost. If the bus is located in a high demand area, it is likely to cost more than if it is located in a low demand area. Similarly, a bus that is in high demand is likely to cost more than a bus that is in low demand.
Examining How Much it Costs to Rent a Tour Bus
In addition to buying a tour bus, you may also want to consider renting one. The cost of renting a tour bus will depend on several factors, including the size and capacity, age and condition, features and amenities, brand and model, location, and availability.
Generally speaking, smaller buses are less expensive to rent than larger buses. Additionally, newer models with more features and amenities are likely to cost more than older models with fewer features and amenities. It is also important to consider the location and availability of the bus; if the bus is located in a high demand area or is in high demand, it is likely to cost more.
To give you an idea of the range in rental prices, here are some examples of the average cost of renting different types of tour buses:
- Sleeper bus: $1,500 – $3,000 per day
- Luxury coach: $2,000 – $4,000 per day
- Mini bus: $500 – $1,000 per day
- Coach bus: $1,000 – $2,000 per day
- School bus: $100 – $500 per day
Investigating the Cost of Buying a Tour Bus
Finally, let’s take a look at the cost of buying a tour bus. The cost of buying a tour bus will depend on several factors, including the size and capacity, age and condition, features and amenities, brand and model, location, and availability.
In general, larger buses are more expensive to buy than smaller buses. Additionally, newer models with more features and amenities are likely to cost more than older models with fewer features and amenities. It is also important to consider the location and availability of the bus; if the bus is located in a high demand area or is in high demand, it is likely to cost more.
To give you an idea of the range in purchase prices, here are some examples of the average cost of buying different types of tour buses:
- Sleeper bus: $300,000 – $600,000
- Luxury coach: $400,000 – $800,000
- Mini bus: $100,000 – $200,000
- Coach bus: $200,000 – $400,000
- School bus: $50,000 – $100,000
As you can see, there are many factors that go into the cost of a tour bus. When it comes to buying, renting, or leasing a tour bus, it is important to consider the type, size and capacity, age and condition, features and amenities, brand and model, location, and availability. By taking all these factors into account, you can make an informed decision and get the best value for your money.

Rhythms of the South (11 Days)
The tour was well put together, the tour guide was excellent, the quality of the accommodation differed at each destination. The Clarion in Nashville was average but clean but the breakfast was not good especially the fact that we were given paper plates and plastic cutlery. The Guest House at Graceland was fabulous but did not include any breakfast which was a little disappointing. The Natchez Hotel (Hampton Inn) was dreadful as we had fungus growing behind the curtains. The breakfast again was dreadful with paper plates and plastic cutlery. The Wyndham in New Orleans was pretty good but the the breakfast which was not included was expensive and not good. Most hotels did not include tea only coffee and The Guest House would chargeover $8 if you asked for a tea bag.
Wonders of the American West (Classic, 10 Days)
Covered the southwestern parks I most wanted to see. Tour director was very knowledgeable and patient; driver was charming and helpful. Accommodations were perfectly situated, and excursions were fun.

- DebbJ 0 contributions 4.0 of 5 bubbles Great way to get oriented to Moscow We started our Moscow experience with the hop on hop off. It was a great way to get orientated to the city. The additional optional tours were also good, we did the Metro tour which I highly recommend, we also paid for the Kremlin tour. The hop on hop off has three different lines all included. Only fault was the bus was sometimes full and you had to wait for the next one which was about 15 minutes (in the cold). Read more Written January 6, 2020

- BeverleyT 0 contributions 1.0 of 5 bubbles Boat trip - TERRIBLE We got on the bus, but couldn’t buy a 1 day ticket. They suggested we do the 1 hour boat trip and said they would drop us to the dock. 1) they dropped us in the wrong place 2) they were lost because of the marathon Then the boat, after we finally found it: 1) stinking fumes, actually gagging 2) no commentary, in fact, no interaction unless you begged 3) offered us 2 for 1 icecreams as they had melted and refrozen as the fridge gets turned off at night Honestly, we enjoyed the afternoon in the boat but spent all of it laughing at just how awful it was!!! The worst thing in Moscow! Read more Written August 18, 2019
- niruDurbs 0 contributions 3.0 of 5 bubbles Not the best value for the price The ticket is quite expensive and covers three different routes in a 24 hour period. The red route is quite exciting and takes about an hour. The bus comes every 10 to 15 minutes. However the other two routes take about two hours each and buses come every 30 to 40 minute period. If the bus is full then you have to wait at the stop for the next bus. So personally I feel that not much can be seen this way. I definitely was not impressed. However it must be noted that one can learn a lot about the history of Moscow Read more Written July 3, 2019

- Rebecca J 0 contributions 3.0 of 5 bubbles Boat element was excellent We purchased a ticket online for the boat and bus for 2 days. The boat element was wonderful, we saw some amazing parts of Moscow along the river side. The bus element was very disappointing as it only started at 10am and was finished by 6:30pm. It was extremely warm when we were there and it would have been great to do the tour in the cool of the day. There was also no air conditioning in the down stairs part of the bus. They also turned away passengers at one of the stops as the bus was full and there was not another bus for 40 minutes. Read more Written September 26, 2018

- Peter F 0 contributions 3.0 of 5 bubbles Two Routes There is a short red route which depending on the traffic takes about an hour. The route is generally around the Red Square area. The ear phones were small and sometimes the commentary did not link up with the sites you were seeing. The green bus takes you on a longer route and ours took two and a half hours due to the heavy traffic. I would not recommend this trip unless it is raining or you want to fill in time. The sights we saw were nothing outstanding with plenty of time at certain stops for photos. Also the driver stop for a bite to eat at one stop. Read more Written July 30, 2018

The bus didn't stop at many points. Were were unaware a couple of times at what point we were and missed them. Headphones and maps were provided. Would recommend one should check out the route map before going and decide which places to stop in advance, this way one can manage and enjoy the tour more and us it more effectively.! - WilliamDyer 0 contributions 1.0 of 5 bubbles Poor service on boat and too many waiting times on buses For the price, you should expect at minimum English speaking tour guides with decent experience, but at least in my case that did not happen both in buses and boats. And in the boat even tough we were 90% English speaking tourist at least, the tour guide spoke 95% of the time in Russia, and only 3 sentences in English, I really counted how many times she spoke in English. And at the end she asks us if we have any questions? Of course I told her I couldn’t ask her anything since I didn’t understand 95% of what she was saying. The boat tour is not worth it, just take the bus that would be my advice. Second minus is the waiting times, in the boat they made us wait an hour before it departed, and in many stops with the buses waiting times of 20-30 minutes. I actually think I lost that day around 2 hours doing nothing. Be careful. Read more Written July 10, 2018

What is the Cost of a Tour Bus Rental?
Comparing costs of tour bus companies can be overwhelming if you’re not familiar with how they’re priced. Once your band is ready for an upgrade, do a little homework upfront to know if you’re getting a good deal.
Exact rates vary by city, but you can expect to pay between $1,900 and $2,500 per day for an entertainer coach. If the company charges per mile, you’ll likely pay somewhere between $7.00 and $8.50 per mile .
The 4 Biggest Factors That Influence the Cost
Breaking the price down gives you a better estimate of how much to budget for trip. Factors that will affect your cost include:
1. How much fuel will your tour bus use?
As you tour from Chicago to Los Angeles to Atlanta and everywhere in between, the cost of gas is going to be a major part of your transportation budget. You can calculate your estimated fuel cost using this formula:
Most charter bus companies will include fuel cost in the price, but it’s helpful to calculate this cost ahead of time to give you an idea of what to expect. To complete this formula, use Google Maps to tally the total mileage, ask the company to provide you with their entertainer buses’ average MPG, and use the current national average for gas prices per gallon.
“One of the best pieces of advice I can give someone looking to rent a tour bus is to make sure they’re renting from a company in the location they’re starting from,” says Mike Hines, band leader and guitarist for Corey Smith . He says fuel and mileage expenses can be greater if you don’t rent from a company in your hometown.
2. How much will it cost for the tour bus driver’s labor, hotels, and gratuity?
Since you’re going to essentially live in an enormous motor coach during your tour, a professional driver is vital to your band members’ safety.
“An experienced, dependable and safer driver is going to cost more than maybe somebody who isn’t as experienced,” says singer and song-writer Rudy Vaughn , winner of Hark Rock’s 2009 Ambassadors of Rock. “I would rather have the safe driver!”
“Professional drivers will have limitations to the amount of miles or hours they are able to drive at a time without needing to be paid overtime,” Vaughn explains. “This is called overdrive, and can start anywhere from 450 miles to 650 miles. The amount varies among bus companies, but the cost can add up quickly for longer tours.”
Legally, charter bus drivers can only drive ten consecutive hours before they are required to take an eight-hour break, according to the American Bus Association . If your destination will take longer than a 10-hour drive, you’ll need to divide your trip into multiple days. This can increase total costs if your bus company charges by the day.
“Along with the cost of your driver, you’ll pay for his or her hotel rooms,” says Kevin Spencer , guitarist and lead singer of Electric Avenue . “Remember to get them at least a 3-star hotel room. Saving $40 on a hotel room isn’t something you would appreciate your clients doing to you. Treat the driver as a family member, he’s there to keep you safe.”
Your driver is one of your biggest allies during the tour. Budget for a hotel that will make him or her feel at ease, not the cheapest motel you can find.
While it’s generally not required, gratuity is always appreciated and is a great way to thank a bus driver. Consider a 5-10% tip for a job well done.
3. Will you need a trailer for extra storage?
How do you know if you’ll have enough room to store your equipment on the tour bus? Most modern buses have a hollow bay underneath that spans the width of the bus to store items.
Spencer says his band can fit a full drum kit, a small bass amp, two combo amps, a small keyboard rig and stand, guitars, bass, keyboard, and a box of merchandise under the bus. They haul everything else in a trailer attached to the bus.
If you think you’ll need extra space, you can rent a trailer to haul on the back of the bus. These can be rented for an additional $50-100 per day, on average.
“Don’t forget about your merchandise when estimating how much storage room you’ll need,” Mike Hines advises. “You may need to bring weeks worth of merchandise on the road with you, and that can take up a significant amount of space.”
4. How much will it cost to park the tour bus?
One of the most overlooked aspects of renting a tour bus is parking logistics. The last thing you want to worry about when on a tight schedule is, “Where in the world are we going to park this thing?!” Determine if there will be parking fees before you begin your trip.
Some venues have designated bus parking on the premises while others in more populated areas require an off-site parking fee. In New York City , for example, bus parking rates are $20/hour while rates in Baltimore are $25 for 12 hours . Call venues ahead of time to see if they have designated parking spaces for your bus and if any additional charges will apply.
Necessity or Nice-to-Have?
Before you and your bandmates cash in on a real tour bus experience, balance your checkbook and take a hard look at your finances. With all of the other costs of touring , does chartering a bus make sense for your band?
“Buses can cost thousands of dollars per day, and that’s just one more bill you have to pay,” Hines says. “The luxury of the bus might sound attractive, but ask yourself if you’re truly ready.”
It’s best for musicians to budget for a tour bus when they are agreeing on the price of the gig, Rudy Vaughn says. Since transportation is such a massive part of the touring budget, sometimes half of the gross income of the show, it’s imperative to know those costs before agreeing upon a price.
“One of the biggest reasons why we book tour buses is because of our production gear,” Vaughn continues. “We have discovered that doing our own production has added benefits, so we have a trailer that is full of stuff. Musicians should always weigh out all of the factors. Is it better to fly to a location and rent production and vehicles to get around? The amount of people will vastly change these types of factors…and it will be something to work out case by case.”
Weighing the Cost of a Tour Bus Rental
When you charter a tour bus for your band, you’re not just paying for transportation.
“It’s easy to under-appreciate the amount of work it takes to keep a 50-foot “building on wheels” driving down the highway without problems,” Vaughn says. “The cost of even one repair, or even a single tire replacement can be in the thousands of dollars. So the price of renting a tour bus needs to be high enough for the owner to be able to absorb the rigors of such a vehicle.”
“You’re hiring someone to manage your safety,” Kevin Spencer says. “Paying a higher price for the right company is worth it because they are ultimately responsible for getting you to and from shows safely and efficiently. The bus is your home while you’re on the road, so it’s important to build a solid relationship with your bus rental company for peace of mind.”
A higher price point doesn’t necessarily result in a better tour bus, but companies with an excellent reputation may charge more to ensure a high standard of service. Ask around, read reviews thoroughly, and ask a lot of questions before choosing a bus company to keep your tour running smoothly.

The 6 Best Grand Canyon Bus Tours From Las Vegas
W hile the Strip is certainly one of Las Vegas' most famous features, it's not all the city has to offer. A trip to Las Vegas wouldn't be complete without experiencing the awe-inspiring natural wonders just outside of it, such as the Grand Canyon. Tourists and locals alike will enjoy a break from the bright lights and bustling city on a bus tour to the Grand Canyon. As one of the largest natural canyons on Earth, the Grand Canyon is more than 270 miles long, meaning there are multiple destinations to explore; the most popular are the South and West Rims.
We've rounded up the top options for Grand Canyon bus tours from Las Vegas, whether you seek an adventurous ride or a more tranquil sightseeing experience.
Best Overall: Grand Canyon West Rim Bus/Helicopter & Landing Tour with Optional Skywalk
Tour operator: Canyon Tours
Price: From $358 per person
Duration: About 10 hours
Visitors can experience the ultimate Grand Canyon bus tour paired with an unforgettable helicopter ride down to the floor of the canyon. The adventure begins on an air-conditioned tour bus that departs from the Vegas Strip and carries passengers to the West Rim. From there, passengers will board a helicopter that descends 4,000 feet, landing on the floor of the canyon. Visitors can explore the canyon floor before reboarding the motorcoach and continuing onto Grand Canyon West, which is home to Guano Point, Eagle Point and Hualapai Ranch. You'll also have the option to brave the world-famous glass Skywalk for sweeping views (and an additional fee).
Local tip: Grand Canyon West is located on the Hualapai Indian Reservation, which is owned and operated by the Hualapai Tribal Nation. In the tribe's traditions, the Grand Canyon and the Colorado River are considered living, spiritual entities. When visiting Grand Canyon West, travelers are immersed in the rich culture and history of the Hualapai Nation.

Best West Rim Tour: Grand Canyon West Rim Bus Tour with Lunch, Hoover Dam Stop and Skywalk
Tour operator: Grand Canyon Destinations
Price: From $99 per person
Duration: About 11 hours
Located in Peach Springs, Arizona, the West Rim is only a few hours from Las Vegas. This tour will show you the best that the West Rim has to offer, including the glass-bottomed Grand Canyon Skywalk bridge (for an added fee). After being picked up from select Vegas hotels and traveling three hours on an air-conditioned bus, passengers get to spend up to four hours exploring the West Rim. A must-see lookout point at the West Rim is Guano Point, from which you can hike to Highpoint Hike and get a view of the Colorado River.
A lunch box, snacks and plenty of water are included with the tour. One unique feature of this outing is that you get to stop at the Hoover Dam for a photo during the bus journey (but keep in mind this stop is available seasonally). You can also choose from several upgrades, including a Skywalk admission ticket, a helicopter ride or a boat excursion.
Local tip: Because it's closer to the Las Vegas desert, this side of the Grand Canyon is the warmest year-round, with hot and dry summers, mild shoulder seasons, and occasional snowfall in the winter.

Best Budget: Grand Canyon South Rim Bus Tour from Las Vegas
Price: From $84 per person
Duration: About 15 to 16 hours
A South Rim bus tour offers a quieter, more historic sightseeing experience. The South Rim is one of the most popular parts of Grand Canyon National Park . Guests can see the wide variety of flora and fauna native to the area. This bus tour – which takes around four hours to get to the South Rim's Mather Point from Vegas – gives visitors the opportunity to walk along Bright Angel Trail; it leads to Bright Angel Lodge, located in the Village Historic District.
You can also stock up on snacks and souvenirs at the Grand Canyon Visitor Center, since the tour only includes a box lunch and water. Or, upgrade your excursion with the guided walking tour add-on. Another historic part of the tour is the scenic drive along the famous Route 66, one of the first U.S. highways.
Local tip: Located farther from Vegas, the South Rim is cooler, with rainy and snowy winters, and more moderate temperatures in spring, summer and fall.

Is it cheaper to take the bus or train from Vancouver to Seattle in 2024?
- Share by Email
While you might think the train from Vancouver to Seattle costs more than the bus , prices have increased off the rails.
When Flixbus launched its bus route connecting Seattle to Vancouver , prices started at a jaw-dropping $17.99 for a one-way trip.
But prices have increased on the popular route since it launched, putting costs on par with other modes of transportation.
Many people also prefer to take the train since the experience is a bit smoother but some dates might still cost more for the trip. Either way, the train and the bus are cheaper than flying between the cities.
Flights between Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and Seattle International Airport (SEA) are surprisingly steep considering the distance, with one-way flights starting at $181.
There are a few things to consider when choosing between the bus and the train.
Train from Vancouver to Seattle
The Amtrak Cascades passenger train offers service from Vancouver across the Canada-U.S. border to numerous cities across Washington and Oregon.
One of the most popular routes takes passengers from Vancouver Pacific Central Station to King Street Station in Seattle, Washington. Prices on these trips start for as little as $39.99 for a one-way trip, but prices may increase during popular travel times, such as mid-day or over holidays (see slide two).
There are four daily round-trip trains between Portland and Seattle on eight trains.
Guests who purchase the value ticket pay the lowest price and must pay a 25 per cent fee if they cancel. No changes are permitted on the low-cost tickets, either.
Guests who purchase the flex fare for an additional $3 receive a full refund if they cancel and will not pay a fee to change the ticket.

Urgent travel warning for Aussies in Bali
Aussies who are currently holidaying in Bali or plan to visit the holiday hotspot have been given a warning for the next few days.
‘Two seconds’: Girl attacked by dingo
Fresh warning for Aussie travellers
Aussies warned amid Japan’s new tourist ban
Aussies who are currently holidaying in Bali or plan to visit the holiday hotspot should allow for more travel time as Ramadan comes to an end in Indonesia.
While Bali is a majority Balinese Hindu province, the population is mostly Muslim and the Eid al-Fitr holiday is one of the biggest festivals on the calendar.
As such Aussies and tourists alike have been warned to allow for plenty of time to travel to and from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport with roads expected to be clogged as
the island celebrates the end of the Islamic holy month on April 9 and 10.
Smarttraveller Australia has warned Aussie holiday-makers to be prepared and “stay alert”.
“We’ve reviewed our advice for Indonesia and continue to advise exercise a high degree of caution,” it states on the site.
“The Idul Fitri holiday period will take place between 10 – 22 April. Many people will travel throughout the country, including the greater Jakarta area.
“This may impact traffic and public transport, including airports, seaports, highways, toll roads, train and bus stations. Airports are expected to be busy. Plan your travel carefully and prepare for significant delays.”
The national holiday of Lebaran, also known as Hari Raya Eid al-Fitr, will be observed between April 9 and April 15 and the weekends on either side.
Handy Heryudhitiawan, the general manager of Bali’s main airport — I Gusti Ngurah Rai International — said the airport was “braced and ready” to welcome and support the crowds of Eid al-Fitr travellers.
The Bali Sun reported during the Eid al-Fitr festival Bali Airport is set to serve 473,000 domestic passengers and 538,000 international passengers, with the total number of passenger surpassing one million.
More Coverage
“We’ve also recorded requests for extra flights for 216 schedules consisting of 108 more arrival schedules and 108 departure schooled with the airlines Indonesia Air Asia, Citilink Indonesia, Lion Air, Super Air, Jet, and Wings Air,” Mr Heryudhitiawan told the publication.
There will be special events to mark the end of Ramadan with epic feasts, buffets and set menus available at many of Bali’s popular eateries.
Tourists end to flock to Al-Hikmah Mosque on Jalan Soka in East Denpasar. It is one of the oldest mosques in Bali and spans over 800 square metres of land.
Visitors to a popular holiday spot are being warned to stay alert for dingoes after a young girl was attacked while her parents turned away for “two seconds”.
A new travel alert has been issued for Aussies visiting this country, warning protests and rallies are “likely to occur” as one massive event takes place.
Aussies heading to Japan are warned to be aware of a new tourist ban in one of Kyoto’s most popular sightseeing spots.

- Recovery continues from severe weather event, effected public transport services
Services partially resume on the South Coast Line as roads and public transport recovery continues
Drivers and passengers are urged to spend some time planning their journeys tomorrow, or consider working from home, with major impacts still being experienced across the state’s road and public transport network following this weekend’s severe weather event.
Passengers are advised to plan ahead with trains to Port Kembla and Kiama resuming on a reduced weekend timetable tomorrow after extreme weather and floods damaged infrastructure and caused land slips in a number of locations.
Trains will resume Tuesday morning between Kiama and the city in both directions however they will run to a reduced weekend timetable whilst repairs continue to be made to some sections of the track.
Buses will continue to replace trains between Bomaderry and Kiama. This is expected to continue for a number of days.
Buses will be stationed at Wollongong and Waterfall to supplement trains.
Currently, Sydney Trains has 250 workers on the ground carrying out repairs following the weekend’s severe weather event.
Passengers should allow for extra travel time, check indicator boards, listen to station announcements, and plan their trip ahead of time.
Sydney Trains thanks passengers for their patience while we work to recover the network.
Other public transport services will run to altered timetables as recovery from the rain event continues and passengers are advised to check the Trip Planner , travel alerts or travel apps and if possible consider an alternative transport mode if your usual route is impacted and allow plenty of extra travel time.
Drivers should take extreme care on the roads and avoid all non-essential travel in affected areas, with the impact of heavy rain and flooding likely to be felt across the coming days. Please exercise caution as some road surfaces may have deteriorated and have potholes. Council and Transport crews will work as quickly as possible to repair the damage.
Motorists are also reminded to never drive through floodwater, follow the directions of emergency services and take extreme care as conditions are changing quickly.

Hari Raya: Public transport, the popular choice for balik kampung travel

Bursa Malaysia to close for Hari Raya Aidilfitri
Don't be naughty this raya: johor domestic trade ministry warns traders not to raise prices, be careful at sea during hari raya, reminds mmea.
KUALA LUMPUR: With two days left, the atmosphere of celebrating Aidilfitri is becoming more and more evident, especially at public transport terminals where many take the opportunity to return home for Hari Raya using public transport such as buses and trains.
Even though some people choose to drive home, to take advantage of the toll-free offer on Monday (April 8) and Tuesday (April 9), public transport remains an option for those who want peace from the hustle and bustle of traffic on the highway.
A Bernama survey in KL Sentral found that the place was a bit crowded as many locals used public transport to go home from the festival early this morning.
A trader Suriati Ibrahim, 47, said she and her three children were very excited to celebrate the festival by booking train tickets from Kuala Lumpur to Batu Gajah, Perak since last month.
"We bought the tickets early because we were worried about tickets running out since there are five of us including my sister-in-law.
"We use the ETS (Electric Train Service) because it saves us more time as we don't travel through traffic jams," she said.
Sharing her view was videographer Muhammad Rashid Dany Abdullah, 24, who chose to book a ticket a week earlier to return home for a week's celebration in Gemas, Negeri Sembilan.
"Alhamdulillah, it's easy to get a train ticket because you buy it online, you don't have to queue.
Otherwise, I have to ride a motorcycle to go home," he said.
Two university students in Perak, Syarifah Musliha and Noor Aliah Sailin, who are both 21 years old, chose public transport provided by the university to celebrate the festival.
"We took the ETS from Perak to KL Sentral and after that we have to catch a plane to return to Tawau and Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
There is no problem with buying a ticket because you can claim a free flight ticket," she said.
Meanwhile, two Indonesians who were met here also did not miss the opportunity to experience the festival atmosphere in Malaysia and will be visiting the country for four days because they want to experience the festive atmosphere in this country.
"We just arrived in Malaysia. I will celebrate here with friends. All Raya preparations are ready," she said. - Bernama

Tourists get more access to royal family residences with 'exclusive tours' of Buckingham Palace and Balmoral Castle
Rooms at Balmoral Castle and Buckingham Palace that were previously off limits will be opened to the public for the first time, giving visitors a sneak peek into royal life.
The royal residences were open to tourists before, but now visitors will be able to see even more of the historical locations and take "exclusive tours" with special guides.
However, it comes at a price.
Tickets for what's called "The Balmoral Experience" cost 100 pounds ($192).
Significant royal residences
Scotland's Balmoral Castle was thought to be Queen Elizabeth II's favourite residence, with the late monarch spending her final days there before her death in 2022.
It was something of a retreat for the late monarch, who spent almost every summer of her life at the estate.
"I suppose Balmoral is a place one looks forward to very much," she said in 1992.
"I think granny is the most happy here. I think she really, really loves the Highlands," her granddaughter, Princess Eugenie said in 2012.
Buckingham Palace is in central London and is an administrative hub for the royal family.
Its balcony is a centrepiece for mayor royal events, with the royals typically gathering there to wave to crowds below.
Balmoral interior opened for the first time
Before now, access to Balmoral Castle was pretty much restricted to the grounds and the ballroom.
But a series of limited tours will give visitors a more intimate look at Queen Elizabeth's summer home later this year.
Here's how the Balmoral website describes it :
"For the first time since the castle was completed in 1855, we have been granted permission to take you on a private tour with our experienced guides. "They will take you on a historical journey through several of the beautiful rooms within Balmoral Castle. "You will learn about the origins of the Castle and how it has been loved by generations of the Royal family. Travel through time from the purchase of the Balmoral by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, through to present day, where you can see how rooms within the castle are used today by their Majesties The King and Queen and other members of the royal family."
The tours are limited to 40 people per day and will only run in July and August.
Tickets cost 100 pounds, with an extra 50 pounds for afternoon tea.
Balmoral tickets sell out in a day
Within a day after local media reported the new tour, all tickets have sold out , according to the Balmoral Castle website.
On Wednesday, the website was briefly brought down by demand.
"As we are currently experiencing a high demand of bookings, you have been placed in a queue," the website read.
General admission tickets, which covers entry to the grounds, gardens, and exhibitions are still available.
More access to Buckingham Palace
Before this announcement, the public could tour 19 state rooms at Buckingham Palace.
But the East Wing — a section of Buckingham Palace which includes the front facade and the famous balcony — has been off limits.
In July and August, "expert guides" will lead small tourist groups through the wing.
It will lead people to a room that leads onto the balcony, according to Royal Collections Trust website .
But it doesn't say if tourists will be able to go out on the balcony.
Adults will have to be pay an extra 75 pounds on top of the standard admission ticket to the state rooms — so it will cost at least 107 pounds.
There are limited tickets available for these tours, which haven't gone on sale yet.
