Located in the municipality of Doña Remedios Trinidad, Puning Cave was declared by the country’s Department of Environment and Natural Resources as one of the caves in the Philippines that are critical to their ecosystem. On the way to the cave, you’ll pass by a rainforest that is home to monkeys, wild boars, deer, and several species of birds.

When visiting this cave, pack light and wear comfortable clothes and proper footwear, as the trek can be a bit of a challenge. Prepare to squeeze through narrow paths and wade into spring water. For long visits, you may rent cottages in the area where you can eat your packed food. You may also choose to order Filipino food cooked by the locals.

If you’re the kind of traveler who likes taking lots of pictures, be sure to schedule a stop at the Ipo Dam View Deck in Norzagaray. Not only does it offer breathtaking views of Ipo Dam and the Sierra Madre mountain range, but it also has several photo spots, including a huge man-made nest, a swing, a kubo (a wooden hut), and other wooden structures. Tip: come early to avoid the crowds and get that perfect travel photo.

The route to the view deck has many turns, so if you often have motion sickness, it’s best to bring medicine. You won’t have to worry about food, though, as there are a couple of eateries and stores nearby.

The Malolos Cathedral is famous for being declared the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception by Pope John Paul II and its distinct role in Philippine history. From September 1898 to March 1899, the convent was used as General Emilio Aguinaldo’s presidential palace. As he was fleeing from Americans, he ordered that the convent and the church be burned, making them useless to the enemy. 

Fortunately, the convent and the church were gradually rebuilt, and in 1962 the church was inaugurated as a cathedral. Today, the cathedral serves as the ecclesiastical seat of the Diocese of Malolos. On your visit, don’t forget to check out the Kalayaan Tree (Freedom Tree), a centuries-old tree believed to have been planted by Aguinaldo himself.

This butterfly sanctuary in San Francisco, Pulilan is the residence of the Aguirre family, which was opened to the public so people can appreciate the butterflies living in their garden. A visit here will let you get close to different species of plants and butterflies and see a butterfly nursery, making it a good place to commune with nature or educate children about the importance of all creatures on the planet. 

You can also explore the Bulacan Doll Museum, which is located within the property. It is host to 17 dioramas that depict historical events in the Philippines. If you’re visiting during the hotter months, you might want to bring swimwear as you can cool off at their pool.

This strawberry farm in Calumpit is four hectares and houses around 30,000 strawberry plants. Started by a self-taught strawberry farmer in 2013, Reyes Strawberry farm has attracted many visitors as it is also home to other fruit-bearing plants like grapes, dragon fruit, and rambutan. 

The highlight of a trip here is the strawberries. Not only will you be able to take in the view of the rows upon rows of strawberry plants, but you can also pick some of the fruits yourself.

You’ll have several choices, as the strawberries growing here originated from different places like Baguio , California, Australia, and Hawaii. If possible, time your visit during December when a lot of the plants bear fruit.

Bitbit Bridge is not just your regular bridge. Its location in Norzagaray and its 100-foot elevation allow it to give you amazing views of the Sierra Madre mountain range and the Bitbit River.

Because of this, it has become popular with bikers who want a quick escape from the city. At one end of the bridge is the entrance to the Angat Rainforest and Ecological Park, which has its own trails and view decks.

If you’re feeling more adventurous, you can try rappelling from the bridge down to the river, where you can take a quick dip after. Don’t forget to bring a drone if you have it, as the aerial views the area offers are also spectacular.

8. Bakas River 

Another stop in Norzagaray that you should add to your list is Bakas River. It is believed that the markings left on some of the rocks along the riverbank are the footprints of Bernardo Carpio, a legendary being with superhuman strength. This is where the river got its name. Bakas means “trace” in Filipino. 

The river is actually part of the Angat River and is located in Barangay Matictic. It has become popular for both locals and travelers from afar because of its clear and clean waters that are perfect for swimming.

If you’re planning to stay here the whole day, you can rent huts along the riverbank, as well as ring floaties. Just be mindful of where you walk or swim, as the current can be strong and some of the rocks are slippery.

This 140-hectare tourism zone in Bocaue is home to the massive Bulacan arena. Officially called the Philippine Arena, it has a seating capacity of 55,000 and is the largest indoor arena in the world. 

Apart from the arena itself, you can also check out The Garden, where you can find thousands of colorful plants and flowers, all arranged to provide you with beautiful views and unique photo spots.

You’ll want to take pictures with the giant teddy bear, the big chess pieces, the green jeepney, and the huge peacock! Kids will also enjoy their visit here, as it has a playground, a trampoline, and a mini-zoo, as well as life-size statues of famous cartoon and comic book characters.

Opened on February 11, 1965, the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes has been visited by millions of pilgrims to pray, meditate, and leave their offerings. If you look at the Bulacan map, you’ll see that this pilgrimage spot located in San Jose del Monte is just beyond Metro Manila’s boundary, making it accessible to those living in nearby cities.

If it reminds you of the Rosary Basilica in the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes in France, that’s because the grotto was built as a tribute to the famous French pilgrimage site. Anita Guanzon was diagnosed with cancer but was cured after bathing in the Lourdes waters in France. After that, the Guanzon family converted their 20-hectare farm into the grotto that you can visit today.

One of the must-visit historical spots in the Philippines is the Pinagrealan Cave in Norzagaray. The cave is more than a kilometer deep and was used by the Katipuneros (members of the anti-colonialism revolutionary society) as a camp during the Spanish colonial period. It is also believed to have been General Emilio Aguinaldo’s hideout during the Filipino-American war.

Today, if you visit the cave, you’ll be able to see gorgeous limestone rock formations that vary in color (from pink to white and brown), as well as stalactites and stalagmites that seem to sparkle when the light catches them.

Exploring the cave requires you to squeeze through narrow passageways and wade through waist-deep waters, so make sure to dress and pack for those instances.

One of the mountains near Manila that have become popular for hikers is Mt. Balagbag. If you’re a beginner who wants to try Bulacan hiking, this mountain in San Jose del Monte is one of the best places to start.

The trek to the summit is fairly easy, but if you’re doing a late morning or early afternoon trek, make sure to apply sunblock, wear a hat, and bring lots of water as the trail can be hot.

If you want to pack light, just bring some money and buy food at the stores you’ll encounter on the way to the summit. Once there, you’ll be rewarded with a view of the Sierra Madre mountain range and Metro Manila. 

Bulacan tours are incomplete without a visit to Barasoain Church. Officially known as Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, the church was the site of the first Philippine Congress in 1898 and the inauguration of the First Philippine Republic in 1899. The Malolos Constitution was also drafted here. The church is also known for being featured in the last incarnation of the PHP10 bill.

The church itself was finished in 1888 and is made of stone and features Baroque architecture typical during the Spanish period. If you have a lot of time during your visit, you should also check out the Barasoain Museum or the Museo ng Republika ng 1899 (Museum of the 1899 Republic), which features dioramas of the historical events that happened at the church.

Perhaps the most famous Bulacan park, Biak-na-Bato National Park is a protected area located in San Miguel. The 2,117-hectare park is known for its historical significance, as it served as the mountain hideout of Filipino revolutionaries as they fought the Spanish forces. This was also where the Republic of Biak-na-Bato was established by General Emilio Aguinaldo.

Today, the park serves as a getaway for those who want to connect with nature by doing hiking tours and explore rock formations, caves, and rivers. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes on your visit as some areas require a bit of a trek to reach.

Many hikers come to the park to climb Mt. Gola and Mt. Manalmon. If you want a bit of a challenge and can only choose one of these mountains to conquer, Mt. Gola is for you. 

The trek to the summit can take an hour, and you will need to crawl through some steep trails to cross it safely or use a rope to pull yourself up. The trail also passes through a small stream, so be ready to get your shoes wet. Once you reach the summit, the view of the mountains and the Madlum River will greet you.

If you want a less complicated hike, try Mt. Manalmon. Your trek will start by passing through Madlum Cave, leading you through a shallow part of Madlum River before you begin to climb the mountain. 

While the climb itself is easier than that of Mt. Gola, you’ll still be rewarded with a beautiful view of the Madlum River and Mt. Arayat when you reach the summit. It could take you roughly two hours to reach the top, so make sure you bring enough water with you. If you’re feeling even more adventurous, you can also spend the night here by staying overnight at the campsite near the summit. You can also choose to climb both. In fact, you can book a Mt. You don’t have to climb mountains to experience the park, though. You can also choose to explore Madlum Cave itself, which takes its name from the Kapampangan term for dark, “madalalumdum.” During World War II, the cave served as a hideout for Japanese soldiers.

Inside, you’ll see picturesque limestone formations and glittering stalactites and stalagmites. Even if it’s just a small cave, it can be quite an adventure to explore it because of its narrow passageways and its different elevations—you’ll need to rappel down some of the areas. Just be careful where you step on, as some rocks can be slippery. 

If you’re still looking for a challenge after Madlum Cave, you should try spelunking at Bayukbok Cave. Exploring it will require you to twist your body to fit tight passageways, so be prepared to crawl your way through rock formations and stalagmites.

It will all be worth it once you reach what is called the music room, or a cavern with limestone formations that produce percussion-like sounds when lightly tapped. Don’t forget to wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to get wet, as there are times that the cave has water inside.

The Madlum River can also be found inside Biak-na-Bato National Park. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a popular place for swimming because of its clear, cool waters and the gorgeous rock formations and lush greens along its banks.

But if you want to take a dip, you need to be mindful of the current as the waters can be strong and rise fast, especially during the rainy season. You can also try to traverse the monkey bridge, which is essentially just two hanging ropes—one for you to step on and the other for you to hold on to.

You may also explore the Balaong River, which also has beautiful rock formations along its banks. It runs through one side of the national park, with some parts of the river shallow enough to wade through from one side to the other (you may even spot carabaos wading with you!), while other portions are deep enough for a quick swim. 

Along its banks, you’ll find more caves like the Bahay Paniki Cave, Bukal Cave, and Aguinaldo Cave, which is believed to be the hideout of General Emilio Aguinaldo and the place where the pact of Biak-na-Bato (which ended the Philippine Revolution) was signed.

Barasoain Church is one of the most iconic tourist attractions in Bulacan. Known formally as Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish , it holds religious, historical, and architectural significance for the Filipinos.

The church was built in 1888 during the Spanish Colonial Period and features beautiful Baroque architecture. It is the site of three important events. It was here where the first Philippine Republic was inaugurated back in 1899, earning it the nickname “ Cradle of Democracy in the East .” It was also where the drafting of the Malolos Constitution and the inauguration of the first Philippine Republic took place.

Today, you can visit the church and appreciate its splendors. You can also visit the convent cloister-turned-museum ( Museo ng Repulibka ng 1899 ) for free to learn more about its history. During Holy Week, this church is one of the pilgrimage sites that Filipinos visit for the Visita Iglesia.

Biak na Bato National Park is one of the most established tourist spots in Bulacan, combining a mix of historical tours and eco-adventure. The national park covers about 2100 hectares and features natural attractions such as mountains, forests, rivers, waterfalls, and caves. It is also a historically significant site – it served as the hideout of the Katipuneros led by Emilio Aguinaldo and the site where the Biak na Bato Republic was established.

Known locally as “Hilltop,” it was built to drive awareness about the importance of watersheds, particularly Angat Dam which supplies over 90% of water to the metro and is also home to a variety of indigenous flora and fauna.

The highlights of the park include the view deck where you can see Angat Dam, Ipo Dam, and the surrounding Sierra Madre mountain range; an ecological center; and a fun trail for runners and cyclists.

From the eco-park, you can also visit the nearby Bitbit Bridge for a quick swim or a picnic with the family.

Mount Balagbag is a popular beginner-friendly hike located in the border of Bulacan and Rizal. It is marked by open trails and grassy areas that are said to be reminiscent of Mount Pulag in Benguet . From the jump-off point, it takes about 2-3 hours to reach the summit where you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the surrounding mountains and hills. Kaytitinga Falls is one of the gems of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. This waterfall stands about 50 feet high, with three layers that cascade down into an inviting and refreshing basin, perfect for swimming especially during warm days. It also serves as water source for the Dumagat Tribe in the area.

Getting here requires 40 minutes of trekking from the registration area. On the way, you’ll get to see lush foliage, as well as various flora and fauna.

Pinagrealan Cave is a historical and natural wonder in Norzagaray, ideal for those looking for a fun outdoor activity for the family. The limestone cave stretches over a kilometer deep and features various stalactites, stalagmites, and other rock formations. It also holds significance in the Philippine history, as it served as refuge for the Katipuneros during the Philippine Revolution and the Filipino-American War.

It takes about an hour to tour the cave, upon which you will experience exploring its tunnel, squeezing through small holes, and wading in chest-deep waters. You may also spot bats inside the cave, as well as tiny fishes, crabs, and shrimps in the pool waters. During the tour, your guide will also tell you about the cave’s history.

This Bulacan tourist spot is more than just exploring; it’s about connecting with the past while immersing yourself in nature’s wonder.

Bulacan offers a number of beginner-friendly hikes, and Tila Pilon Hills in DRT is one that you shouldn’t miss. It’s ideal for those starting out in mountain climbing as it only takes 30-40 minutes to reach the summit.

As you ascend the trail, you’ll be greeted with a breathtaking panorama of rolling landscapes as far as the eye can see. As such, locals liken Tila Pilon Hills to Chocolate Hills in Bohol. At the summit, you’ll be rewarded with a 360-degree view of the surrounding mountains.

The adventure doesn’t stop at the summit! After you ascend, you can proceed to Tila Pilon Falls. This waterfall consists of three low-lying streams along a river. Next up on our list of Bulacan tourist spots is Secret Falls — a not-so-secret waterfall found in the town of Dona Remedios Trinidad (DRT). It has a wide basin which goes up to 4-5 feet, so it is perfect even for non-swimmers.

The trail here only takes around 5 minutes from the registration area. From Secret Falls, you can also hike for 40 minutes to reach the Blue Lagoon, a beautiful swimming hole nestled up in the mountains.

The Secret Falls is crowded especially on weekends and holidays, so if you want to have a quieter experience, schedule your visit on weekdays. You can also rent a cottage or room nearby for day or overnight use.

Tucked away in Norzagaray, Maramo River is one of the emerging tourist spots in Bulacan. It features a clear, green river where you can enjoy various daytime activities such as hiking, swimming, crystal kayaking, balsa ride, cliff jumping, caving, and more. Aside from these, you’ll also love the IG-worthy spots around the river, perfect for a weekend day out!

You can visit here on a day trip or stay in one of the humble cottages for overnights. It’s recommended to bring your own food and drinks. Reservations are a must especially during weekends and holidays.

To get here, head to Sitio Sapang Saging in Norzagaray, Bulacan. From the parking lot, you need to trek for 20-30 minutes to get to the river site.

Nothing stays secret in Bulacan! Next on our list of Bulacan tourist spots that you shouldn’t miss is Mount Secret, a new hiking destination located in the town of San Rafael.

Mount Secret is one of the easiest, beginner-friendly hikes near Manila. From the jump-off point, it will take you an hour to reach the summit at a moderate pace. Once at the top, you will find two rock formations reminiscent of Nagpatong Rock Formation in Tanay , where you can have a sweeping view of the plains of Bulacan as well as Mount Arayat from afar.

From the summit, you can also visit White Rock, a rock formation that offers a similar view. Other side trips include Malangaan Cave and Spring.

Kabayunan View Deck is one of the best places to visit in Bulacan for those who want to unwind. The highlight of the campsite is the breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and Mount Arayat from afar. Breathe fresh air, appreciate the view, and take awesome photos in one of the viewing decks!

The campsite offers plenty of space for pitching tent; teepee huts are available for rent as well. Remember that you need to bring your own food and drinks, as well as cooking equipment if you need to cook.

Getting here isn’t the easiest, as you need to either walk for 2 kilometers or ride a motorcycle or 4×4 vehicle. However, the view from atop is definitely worth it!

Built at the heart of Malolos City, Malolos Cathedral (also known as Minor Basilica of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception ) is one of the must-visit tourist attractions in Bulacan especially among history buffs.

The Malolos Church served as the presidential palace for General Emilio Aguinaldo. It was then burnt down and rebuilt from the ashes of war. In 1962, the church was declared a cathedral with the creation of the Diocese of Malolos.

Today, you can visit the church and appreciate its interiors, see the beautiful Immaculada Concepcion de Malolos at the center of the altar, and visit the historic “kayalaan tree” which is rumored to be planted by Aguinaldo himself.

Gawad Kalinga, which translates to “give care,” is a movement dedicated to helping the poor through building integrated, holistic, and sustainable communities. Also, there are still some indigenous people, the Dumagats, living there. Which only means that the culture in Kaytitinga Falls is still perfectly preserved and protected.

As I’ve mentioned earlier, Mt. Manalmon is the sister mountain of Mt. Gola. The two mountains are usually traversed in a twin-day hike where Mt. Manalmon is always the first one to be climbed. This is because the mountain’s elevation is 36 meters lower than Mt. Gola.

Aguinaldo ordered Antonio Luna to burn down the church during the Filipino-American war while escaping the American forces. The church was then slowly rebuilt from the remnants of war until 1936, followed by a declaration as a cathedral in 1962.

The Malolos Cathedral is officially known as the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of Immaculate Concepcion through Pope John Paul II’s declaration.

From the historical point of view, Pinagrealan Cave once became a hideout of Katipuneros (Filipino anti-colonial revolutionaries). Aguinaldo was believed to have used the cave as a safe place during the American occupation.

7. Mount Balagbag

Favoring its proximity to Metro Manila, Mount Balagbag in Norzagaray Bulacan near Rodriguez Rizal is a popular hiking destination for locals.

Mount Balagbag is a beginner-friendly hiking tourist spot in Bulacan for its relatively easy and expansive trails. It has an altitude of around 770 meters above sea level, enough to have a broad view of the Manila skyline, the Siera Madre ranges, as well as the Ipo watershed.

Aside from hikers, mountain bikers also favor the vast trails of Mount Balagbag. However, note that there are little to no trees here. Thus, the scorching heat is the only struggle when hiking during the summer months.

Enjoy taking many photos against the verdant mountain ranges during the daytime, or watch the sky glimmer in lights from the Metro Manila skyline by night. Camping here is available, and you can relax and wake up from the cold breeze of mountain air.

When planning to camp at night, make sure to bring all your camping provisions since there are no current rentals available. Reaching the camping site comes in different options like hiking for 2-3 hours, renting a 4×4 truck, riding habal-habal, or riding your bike or motorcycle.

9. Verdivia Falls

Continue your outdoor adventures in Doña Remedios Trinidad by hiking your way to the Verdivia falls. With nearby access to other Bulacan tourist spots like Biak Na Bato, you’ll find yourself distanced from the busy streets of the lowland.

Verdivia waterfall has around 15 feet of water flowing directly into a wide basin. The pool basin is not too deep for a few strokes, and riding bamboo raft for a water massage straight to the falls.

The waterfalls’ name is inspired by its greenish to bluish shimmer. At the same time, the tall trees from behind complement the overall serenity of the area.

Jump off point starts at Barangay Talbak with the help of local guides. Trekking could reach up to 45 minutes and require four river crossings. Worry not, as these rivers are just shallow during the dry season.

You can spend your summer getaway at Verdivia falls for a mini picnic retreat. Staying overnight is not allowed; however, you can camp at Digo’s Hill nearby.

10. Our Lady of Assumption Parish Church

Another landmark and historical piece of Bulacan is the Our Lady of Assumption Parish Church in Bulakan town. Commonly referred to as Bulakan Church, this tourist spot in Bulacan traces back its roots as early as 1575.

Bulakan Church features an artistic Neo-Classical style with observable hints of Romanesque architecture. These prominent visuals are the corbeled arches with a rose window above the main door and the three niches with statues at its facade.

A historical attribute of Bulakan Church associates to General Gregorio del Pilar, where he secretly distributed the pamphlets made by his uncle, Marcelo H. del Pilar, in the late 1800s.

Behold of the lush greens and the refreshing sound of the gushing waters from the upstream. The unique challenge of going to Mount Maranat perfectly matches the likes of outdoor enthusiasts who want to disconnect from the modern world.

Like Mount Balagbag, the most accessible and nearest drop-off point is in Rodriguez, Rizal. Reaching the summit of Mount Oriod takes about four hours from the campsite.

12. Gawad Kalinga Enchanted Farm

If you are looking for a unique Bulacan tourist spot other than historical sites and the great outdoors, the Gawad Kalinga (GK) Enchanted Farm should fill your Bulacan itinerary.

The GK Enchanted Farm promotes meaningful recreational activities through social entrepreneurship, helping the local community. Book your tours with them and participate in their daily routines, including Guided Farm Tour, Lunch buffets, and Enterprise Demos.

Most of the activities here are everything about farming. Moreover, their social enterprise demos include peanut brittle making, bamboo straw making, carabao’s milk ice cream, Ambension silk enterprise, and stuff toy knitting.

13. Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes

The pilgrimage site occupies a portion of the 20-hectare private property of the Guanzon family. Anita Guanzon’s cancer status has improved after their family’s visit to Loures, France. As a thanksgiving for the miracle, the family has decided to build a grotto shrine on their property.

1. verdivia falls.

Verdivia Falls is like a page off of Alex Garland’s “The Beach”. Named after its “verde” or green waters, the falls boast of fresh, clean waters flowing from the virgin streams. It’s also surrounded by trees which make swimming under the sun less scorching.

2. Mt. Gola

Part of the Sierra Madre mountain range is Mt Gola. It’s one of two mountain treks found in the Biak na Bato National Park, one of the more iconic Bulacan tourist spots. According to locals and tourist guides, Mt Gola served as a camp and vantage point for guerillas during the Japanese invasion. It’s now considered as a heritage site of the province.

3. Gawad Kalinga Enchanted Farm

4. Saint John of God Parish Church

Also known as San Juan de Dios Parish, the church was established in the 19th century and is best known as the site of the Battle of San Rafael. The historic duel between the Filipino revolutionaries led by Gen. Anacleto “Matanglawin” Enriquez and the Spanish army led to the death of 800 Filipinos. It is believed that bloodshed in the church reached ankle-high. It is also believed to be the inspiration behind Dr Jose Rizal’s “Noli Me Tangere” characters Crispin, Basilio and Sisa.

6. Pinagrealan Cave

Pinagrealan Cave is the stuff of adventure seekers’ dreams! Aside from its historical background -- being a hideout of Gen Emilio Aguinaldo -- it also offers a complete trekking experience. Taking on this cave is no easy feat! Apart from the super dark cave pathway, trekkers would have to go through waist-deep waters to get through the cavern.

7. Guiguinto Old Train Station

Built in 1661, this heritage site has inspired some of the best literary works in the country. The Old Train Station is site to a guerilla train ambush killing six friars during the Spanish colonization. The historical event was the inspiration behind Severino Reyes’ novel “Opera Walang Sugat” which was later adapted into the movie “Walang Sugat”.

8. Baguio of Bulacan - Hilltop

Not known to many, but Bulacan also has its own piece of Baguio tucked in the outskirts of Norzagaray. Also known to locals as “Hilltop”, Brgy San Lorenzo has been dubbed as “Baguio of Bulacan” for its cool breeze and fresh air. Aside from the chill weather, it also offers an expansive view of the Cordillera mountain range and the Angat Dam.

9. Marcelo H Del Pilar Museum

One of the leaders of the Propaganda Movement during the Spanish regime, Marcelo H Del Pilar is best known for his pen name Plaridel. He aimed to put an end to the abuses of the colonizers through his works for the La Solidaridad and organization of anti-friar movements. His efforts in ending the 300-year rule of Spain over the Philippines has made him one of the most well-known national heroes. In honor of his heroism, his ancestral home in Bulacan has been turned into a museum and shrine open to tourists.

10. Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes

MANILA TO BULACAN

If you want to get from Manila to Bulacan by bus. There are P2P buses leaving Manila to Bulacan every 30 minutes to 1 hour from Trinoma. From 5 am to 10 pm. Bus fare from Manila to Bulacan is 70 PHP . It will take 1 hour and 1 hour 30 minutes.

BEST TIME TO VISIT BULACAN

Philippines has only 2 seasons- wet and dry season. You should be prepared with the weather in Bulacan because it is hot and humid during the months of March to May, and can extend up to June!

The wet season starts from June to November and rainy season can start as early as May.

Verdivia Falls is located in Talbak Barangay, Doña Remedios Trinidad in San Miguel. It’s a perfect place for swimming and enjoying these clear waters. You can ride the bamboo rafts to take your pictures and swim around. Verdivia Falls entrance fee is 10 PHP and the guides charge 200 PHP per group.

2. hike mt. gola.

Mt. Gola is located in Biak na Bato National Park in San Miguel. To get there you will have to get a tricycle from San Miguel to Madlum. Fare of the tricycle will be around 240 PHP for one way 3-4 people. The registration area is located from the parking lot just across the bridge.

Hiking Mt Gola is one of the most popular things to do in Bulacan. In the past the guerrillas used as a camp in the Japanese invasion times.

Mt Gola entrance fee is 30 PHP . Hiring a guide will cost you 300 PHP for a group of 5 people.

3. HIKE MT MANALMON

Mt Manalmon is one of the easiest treks if you are beginner. It’s the same like Mt Gola but just half of the way. Mt Manalmon entrance fee is 30 PHP . Hiring a guide will cost you 300 PHP for a group of 5 people.

4. EXPLORE MADLUM CAVE

Explore Madlum Cave as a part of Biak na Bato National Park you can also do this activity. After hiking Mt Gola or maybe only Mt Manalmon. 5. PINAGREALAN CAVE

Pinagrealan Cave is located in the province of Norzagaray, Bulacan. Pinagrealan Cave is a subterranean formation was once a hideout for legendary Andres Bonifacio a revolutionary leader and the president of the Tagalog Republic.

Pinagrealan Cave entrance fee is 50 PHP . Make sure you are bringing a flashlight a proper shoes for this activity.

6. PUNING CAVE

Puning Cave is located at Barangay Bayabas, Doña Remedios Trinidad with a very clear cold water and a spectacular rock formation of stalagmite and stalactite inside. Puning Cave entrance fee is 40 PHP .

7. BAYUKBOK CAVE

Bayukbok Cave is located in Barangay Sibul, San Miguel. You can visit Bayukbok Cave after hiking Mt Manalmon for relaxing and refreshing after the trekking. You will enjoy rock formations inside and it’s one of the Bulacan tourist spots that you can’t miss it.

Bayukbok Cave entrance fee is 30 PHP and hiring a guide is 300 PHP for a group of 10 people.

8. SWIMMING AT BITBIT RIVER

9. BAKAS RIVER IN NORZAGARAY

Bakas River is located in Baranggay Matictic in Norzagaray. Bakas River has rock formations with 3 huge statues of Jesus Christ and a statue of Holy Trinity-Virgin Mary.

To get to Bakas River you have to take a jeepney to Garay and drop at St.Andrew church. From here a tricycle to Bakas River will cost 150 PHP one way.

10. GAWAD KALINGA ENCHANTED FARM

Gawad Kalinga Enchanted Farm is one of the main Bulacan tourist spots. Take a jeep to Barangay Encanto and get off at Encanto Elementary School. It’s opened from 8 am to 5 pm from Tuesday to Sunday.

The National Shrine of the Divine Mercy is located in San Jose Del Monte City. The church is dedicated to the Divine Mercy in Marilao in Bulacan. The National Shrine of the Divine Mercy was elevated to the status of National Shrine by Archbishop Orlando Quevedo and the first Mass was held 2nd of February in 1992, the Feast of the Presentation.

24. OBANDO FESTIVAL

Obando Festival is a dance ritual and later also became a Catholic festival celebrated every May in Obando, Bulacan. Locals and pilgrims are dressing traditional costume, dancing and singing in the streets to honur and beseech Obando’s three patron saints: San Pascual, Santa Clara and Nuestra Señora de Salambáo.

It’s celebrated from 17th of May to 19th of May.
