STRICTLY COME DANCING THE PROFESSIONALS 2024 Tour Announced

For the first time ever, there are 12 professional dancers on the tour! Tickets are available from Friday 14 July.

May 2024 sees the critically acclaimed Strictly Come Dancing The Professionals UK Tour taking to the road once more.  And for the first time ever, audiences will be treated to a dazzling dozen amazing pro dancers from BBC One’s smash hit Strictly Come Dancing, performing this spectacular show in venues across the country. Tickets are available from Friday 14 July.

Kicking off in Oxford on 1 May, this year’s tour will be bigger and better than ever before as two more dancers have been added to the incredible line-up for the official 36-date tour. The dancers are Australian Open Champion and four-time Amateur Australian Open Finalist Dianne Buswell; 11-time Italian Latin American Champion and 2022 finalist Vito Coppola; Italian Latin Champion Graziano Di Prima ; Chinese National Dance Champion and 2022 finalist Carlos Gu; American Rhythm Rising Star Champion, Professional World Mambo Champion and longest serving Strictly Pro Karen Hauer ; undefeated four-time British National Champion Neil Jones ; six-time Italian Latin & Ballroom Champion Nikita Kuzmin; three-time Strictly finalist including 2022 Gorka Marquez ; four-time winner of the Italian Dance Championship Luba Mushtuk; Polish Open Latin Champion and 2022 Strictly Champion Jowita Przystal; ten-times Cyprus National Dance Champion Michelle Tsiakkos, making her debut on the tour; and World Latin Dance Championships Under 21 finalist and Strictly 2021 finalist Nancy Xu.

Directed by Strictly’s Creative Director Jason Gilkison , this extravaganza will showcase the exceptional talent of these hugely popular professional dancers from the TV show which celebrates its 21st series this year. Expect phenomenal dance numbers, dazzling costumes, sequins, sparkles and all the feel-good Strictly magic we’ve grown to love over the years.

Audiences will be awestruck by the skill, wit, and dancing feats this hugely talented 12-strong Strictly professional dance ensemble achieve, with lifts to take your breath away and an unforgettable soundtrack performed live by the production’s incredible singers and band.

Strictly Come Dancing fans considering buying tickets for the Strictly the Professionals Tour 2023 are wondering who is on the tour, where is it and how long does it last?

There is a spectacular line-up of some of the world’s best professional dancers hitting the road next year for the 2023 official Strictly Come Dancing : The Professionals UK Tour.

It comes in addition to the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour 2023 , and fans will see a breathtaking show, featuring a 10-strong ensemble of dancers from the smash hit BBC One TV show Strictly Come Dancing, will open at Hull’s Bonus Arena on 2 May and then waltz its way around the UK before culminating at Liverpool’s M&S Arena on 30th May.

The Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour is back for 2024

It's time to dust off those scoring paddles and get those dancing shoes ready, because the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour is back for 2024!  

Strictly legends Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, and Craig Revel Horwood return to take up their judging seats and It Takes Two ’s Janette Manrara is back as tour host.

The Strictly Live Tour will dazzle audiences in January and February next year at arenas up and down the UK for 30 scintillating shows. Tickets will go on sale at 10.00am on Friday 22 September from StrictlyComeDancingLive.com .

The tour will open at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on 19 January for the first of five spectacular performances. Then the glitz, the glamour and the sequins, together with the all-important celebrity contestants and their professional dancer partners, will travel to some of the UK’s biggest entertainment venues leaving a trail of glitter in their wake: Utilita Arena Sheffield, Utilita Arena Newcastle, OVO Hydro Glasgow, M&S Bank Arena Liverpool, First Direct Arena Leeds, AO Arena Manchester, Motorpoint Arena Nottingham and finally The O2 in London, culminating on 11 February.

Directing the Strictly Live Tour is TV Judge Craig Revel Horwood, who will once again be creating a dance extravaganza like no other, featuring a stellar line-up of talent from the current series of the smash hit BBC show, recently named Best Talent Show at the 2023 National Television Awards. And of course, the Strictly Live Tour Band and singers will be wowing arena audiences with their show-stopping tunes and harmonies. Celebrities and professional dancers joining the tour will be announced soon. 

Strictly’s Head Judge Shirley Ballas said: “I’m delighted to be judging the Strictly Live Tour once again - there is never a dull moment alongside Anton and Craig! The audiences are always electric, the atmosphere is amazing, and Anton has promised me lots of surprises! I can’t wait for January next year when we get the show on the road!”

Anton Du Beke said: "It was my first Strictly tour earlier this year and I was blown away by the scale and spectacle of the live experience. So, I'm thrilled to be back with all the gang next year and look forward to another incredible tour."

Craig Revel Horwood said: “ What better way to start the new year than with the Strictly Live Tour! It’s going to be gorgeous to be back on the road with Shirley, Anton, and Janette. Joining us to entertain you all will be an A-MAZ-ING line-up of celebrities and professional dancers from this year’s series. And, as you would expect, we will have a few extra special surprises in store for the arena audiences along the way. One word, three syllables - FAB-U-LOUS!”

Janette Manrara said: “What an incredible way to kick off 2024! I am always so honoured to host the live tour as it brings everything that viewers love about the Strictly TV show to thousands of people around the UK. It’s a great night out for all the family - I just can’t wait!”

Strictly Come Dancing returned to BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Saturday 16 September for its 21 st series with an all-new exciting celebrity and pro dancer line-up and an array of incredible dance routines. Strictly's Live Tour celebrates all the joy of the TV series, showcasing the amazing choreography and fantastic live music that Strictly is synonymous with – providing audiences of all ages up and down the country the opportunity to experience everything they love about the TV show live on stage in their hometown or city.

Not only are the arena audiences treated to the spectacular roof-raising routines, but they are also granted the power to decide who wins the coveted Glitterball Trophy at the end of each show. The tour judges will of course provide their invaluable wisdom, advice and scores at each performance - we couldn’t stop them if we tried - but the ultimate power lies with the audience. A text for their favourite couple is all it takes; their votes will decide who wins!

As with the 2023 tour, each performance will host a British Sign Language interpreter, who will be displayed on two very large screens on either side of the stage so that audiences can book tickets and sit almost anywhere in the arena to enjoy the experience with family and friends.

Strictly star announces split from girlfriend 4 years after ‘deeply sad’ divorce

Strictly Come Dancing star Gleb Savchenko  has split from his girlfriend of just under three years, Elena Belle.

The dancer confirmed the relationship ended a month ago but admitted that he still ‘very much loves her’.

‘It kind of just happened. People always say life happens and sometimes I think, “How did it even happen?”,’ he reflected.

The 40-year-old first began dating Elena, real name Natacha Peyre Requena, in August 2021 and has described their time together as ‘amazing’.

‘It’s just the timing.’

He added to Page Six : ‘I had, like, the best time of my life with her. There’s certain things that just didn’t work out.’

‘I’m gonna miss her a lot.’

Gleb heaped praise on Elena, 39, for being an ‘amazing’ mum to daughter Luna from her previous marriage to late husband Michael Theanne. He also has two daughters, Olivia and Zlata, with his former wife, Elena Samodanova .

The couple split in 2020 after 14 years of marriage. In an Instagram post shared at the time, Elena wrote: ‘After 14 years of marriage, with my deepest sadness, our road is coming to an end.’

Gleb then shared a post which read: ‘It is with a heavy heart that I tell you my wife and I are parting ways after 14 years of marriage.

‘We still intend to co-parent our wonderful children together who we love so dearly, and we will strive to continue to be the best parents that we can to them.’

Following his breakup from Elena, Gleb has a big work project to concentrate on – he is joining the Chippendales as a celebrity guest host and dancer.

Being part of the dance troupe for performances in Vegas and Atlantic City felt like a natural move for Gleb. They are synonymous for their striptease performances dressed in a bow tie, collar, and shirt cuffs worn with a bare torso, and Gleb already knows this combination is a winner for him: ‘Everyone knows I’m a great dancer … but the moment my shirt comes off, the crowd goes wild!’

Strictly fans will remember the Russian native’s skills from his time on the BBC juggernaut with the Countryfile presenter, Anita Rani in 2015.

Although, he only appeared in one series, his time on the show has a lasting legacy. Anita and Gleb’s Samba to Shakira song Hips Don’t Lie is the third most popular couple routine on the show’s YouTube channel, with 5.6 million views. They reached the semi-finals, but it was Wanted singer Jay McGuiness and Aliona Vilani who won.

Anita has previously questioned if she would have got further in the competition if she was white .

‘I still find myself wondering whether I would have got into the final if I didn’t have a brown face,’ she told Radio Times .

‘There are various points in my career where I wonder what would have happened if I was blonde-haired and blue-eyed, and sometimes I don’t think things would have played out the same way if I was white.’

The UK couldn’t keep Gleb for long, as he returned to the States in 2016 to take up a position on the US version of the show, Dancing with the Stars for the second time – he’d previously participated in the 2013 series with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump.

Since his return, some of his partners have included The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne, Pretty Little Liars actress Sasha Pieterse, Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause, and Spice Girls singer Melanie C . 

Most recently, he finished in fourth place with drag queen Shangela.

Gleb, who also competed in Australian and Russian versions of Dancing with the Stars, still thinks he has at least three seasons in him and wants to achieve his ultimate goal of winning.
