About Within Temptation Legendary leaders of dark anthemic music, with a career spanning two decades and with 7 studio albums under their belt – Enter (1997), Mother Earth (2000), The Silent Force (2004), The Heart of Everything (2007), The Unforgiving (2011), Hydra (2014]) and RESIST (2019): all accounting for more than 4 million record sales to their name – Within Temptation is a genuine force to be reckoned with.

These past years  Within Temptation  has shifted its focus from releasing albums to releasing a series of singles, enabling the band members to indulge themselves into their creative processes with no production or time restraint and release new music within a heartbeat, resulting in both the band and fans always being on the forefront of newly inspired music. In 2020 and 2021, the band released “Entertain You”, “The Purge” and “Shed My Skin”, singles that all peaked in the top 20 of the US Billboard Mainstream Rock Indicator Charts and topped the official German charts. The band’s work has received numerous international awards, including a World Music Award, MTV Europe Music Awards, a Metal Hammer Award and many more, as well as millions of streams on their hit songs such as breakthrough song ‘Ice Queen’, Paradise ‘(What About Us?)’ (feat. Tarja) and their recent collaboration with Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach for ‘The Reckoning’.

Within Temptation has previously headlined all the major festivals in Europe – Download, Hellfest, Wacken Open Air, Graspop and Woodstock Poland amongst other major events. Iron Maiden Announce 2022 North American Tour

Trivium and Within Temptation will serve as special guests

Iron Maiden have announced their return to North America. Next year, the metal icons will bring their Legacy of the Beast Tour back to the U.S. and Canada. Trivium and Within Temptation will serve as special guests on respective dates.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale December 7. Ticketmaster Verified Fan Pre-sale begins on December 8. General public on-sale begins on December 10. Check IronMaiden.com for details.

Rod comments, “Next summer we will finally get to play the huge European stadium and festival tour for Legacy of the Beast originally set for 2020! The new show will be even more spectacular so after our visit to Rock in Rio early September 2022 we have decided to take it back to our fans in North America and Mexico too, playing in cities or venues we did not get to last time we toured in 2019. We are also adding some of the great cities of eastern Europe we were not initially visiting!We’ll be making a couple of additions and changes to the production and setlist to include some songs from our new album Senjutsu and are making the 2022 version of Legacy of the Beast even more spectacular than the acclaimed original show. You can be sure that we will still be featuring all the “hits” and the key elements of the original tour like the Spitfire, Icarus, Hell, flamethrowers and pyro and the rest – but we will shake it up a bit and Trooper Eddie will have serious competition in the new Senjutsu ‘world’ we are adding.”

Bruce adds, “I’m really excited about the new additions to the stage production, and we can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve got planned. The whole band has really enjoyed the Legacy tour and now we just can’t wait get back out on the road to play live, have fun and see everyone again.”

Iron Maiden Announce North American Tour With Trivium & Within Temptation

Iron Maiden will resume their ‘ Legacy Of The Beast Tour ‘ in the fall of 2022 with Trivium and Within Temptation appearing as support on select legs. Iron Maiden ‘s manager Rod Smallwood commented of the band’s plans:

“Next summer we will finally get to play the huge European stadium tour for The Legacy Of The Beast , and the new show will be even more spectacular so after our visit to Rock in Rio early September 2022 we decided to take it back to our fans in North America too, but in cities or venues we didn’t play in 2019, including some we haven’t visited in many years like El Paso, Spokane, Sioux Falls, Columbus, Hamilton, Ottawa and Greensboro. We’ll be making a couple of additions and changes to the production and setlist to include some songs from our new album Senjutsu and are making the 2022 version of Legacy Of The Beast even more spectacular than the acclaimed original show. Incredible, never-to-be-forgotten show! Perfect blend of new and older material. Exactly the right amount of crowd interaction to get us involved and make us feel part of the show without taking too much time away from the amazing music we came to see. The sound was set up perfectly - crystal clear and the exact right volume balance between each of the instruments and Sharon. I would see this exact same show again tonight if I could. It was seriously that good.

Waited 12 years to see them live, and it took flying 3000 miles from the States to London to finally experience their show. Loved every second of it! You can't find a better singer than Sharon. The whole group is down to earth, having fun on stage, and doesn't take themselves too seriously. They look like they enjoy the crowd as much as the crowd enjoys them. 10 out of 10 for Within Temptation live!

Great concert! One of the best I saw. Shanon and the band really killed it. Nice video effects as well! Can't wait to have them back here :D

They did a nice job in performing both their old and their new songs to come (tour was to promote a future album). My only regret is that they didn't perform one of my favourite songs, but hey they can't play everything in one evening.
