Youth & Teen Centers

Our Youth & Teen Centers are staffed by entertaining and experienced counselors, all of whom are dedicated and trained to make sure kids are having the best vacation ever. It's non-stop fun on every voyage. The Youth Manager and her dynamic team of counselors keep kids and teens entertained in our state of the art centers with games, crafts, theme nights, dance parties, video game tournaments, science workshops, and more. Parents can relax knowing their children are nearby, well-supervised, and most importantly, having fun.

And our exclusive partnerships with the California Science Center and Discovery Channel also give kids a chance for hands-on learning experiences, including conducting chemistry experiments and building miniature roller coasters.

Part of the entertainment department on a cruise ship, the Youth Staff organizes and leads activities for guests aged three to 17.

Similar to the position of Cruise Staff , applicants should have related hosting, stage or public speaking experience along with strong microphone skills. Work experience in guest services, child care, resort or recreational camp is also an asset.

Some cruise lines expect that potential candidates should have a physical fitness and/or recreational sports instruction background with resorts, sports facilities or related recreational facilities.
