4th P&O cruise in 3 years - look no further!

This was our 4th cruise in 3 years, with two more booked and all with P&O. I agree that the expensive wifi is a bit of a dampener but the ships are so beautiful, every day is a new experience, the entertainment is endless and of course the food....especially Sindhu which is outstanding. Amazing value for money and nothing is too much trouble. Beautiful surroundings and quality experiences. We are completely hooked and can't wait for the next trip!

First cruise for me and my friends

First cruise for me and my friends. Excellent way to celebrate 2 of my friends 50th birthday, unforgettable experience on board and offshore. We had so much fun, you do not get bored -so many activities and things to do.

12-day Northern Lights cruise to Norway…

12-day Northern Lights cruise to Norway on the Aurora, first time cruise for me and my wife. It was a fabulous experience. I have never been so well looked after anywhere. The ship is beautiful, the staff are fantastic, the food is tasty and beautifully presented and the evening entertainment was first class. And we saw the Lights!! If I had to be picky - WiFi really should be available as a matter of course, not as a fairly expensive add-on. Water bottle refilling stations would be appreciated. Two of the four shore days fell on a Sunday, which in Norway means the towns are mostly closed. Overall, a wonderful and very special experience which I hope to repeat.

First cruise holiday with P&O on the Ventura

First cruise holiday with P &O on Ventura. We absolutely loved our 7 days with them. Rooms were spotless, great drinks menu optional to pay additional costs at certain restaurants if you choose too. Loved all the places we stopped at with arriving in the morning til departing tea time. Lovely Costa coffee on board. Staff a little slow at taking your drinks order in certain areas. Lots of friendly staff. Plenty of lifts were empty when we went so not queuing to get in. Nice buffet and choices along with the pizzas and burger at the poolside. No hassle getting on & off the boat. We had a Lovely holiday and yes we would go on the Ventura ship again.

Just returned from sailing on the Ventura it's an old ship doesn't do well when the sea is rough. PLEASE BE AWARE WHEN REGISTERING YOUR DEBIT THEY TAKE PENDING AMOUNTS & EVEN WHEN THEY TAKE THE PAYMENT THEY STILL DON'T RELEASE THE PENDING AMOUNT YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR 7 TO 10 DAYS. EVEN IF YOU CONTACT THEM. THIS HAPPENED WITH HALIFAX, NATWEST & NATIONWIDE. Also there was no hot fish in the buffet.

The Amazing Ventura.

We cruised on 19th October on Ventura. Have done several cruises before (including on The Britannia to the Caribbean) and this ranks with the best of them. Organisation was superb. From arriving at Southampton and just dropping the cases and car keys off to all other aspects of the cruise. Staff were lovely, polite and efficient. Food and entertainment were genuinely first class. Will most definitely be booking with P&O again. Cabins were spotless and kept perfectly clean by the room steward on Barbados deck 11. Only downside if you could call it that was it took a few requests and a couple of days to clean the toilets by the pool which had been left in a very unsavory condition by another passenger. Should have cleaners checking these areas at all times as this could cause sickness and infection. All other areas of the ship were kept immaculately clean and tidy. That issue aside, P&O should hold their heads up high for giving us such a fabulous time and a marvellous holiday.

First cruise so only done a 5 day to…

First cruise so only done a 5 day to France and Belgium the ship was a sight to see up close getting on the ship is a big queue and wait but that's expected The ship was clean tidy and big lol Cabins was clean tidy and comfortable beds Food was amazing and a great selection of choice something for everyone bars staff are over worked so could definitely do with extra staff in the bars and runners but generally a good relaxing time

We appreciate your feedback about the queues and the bar staff. We strive to provide the best possible experience for our guests and will take your comments into consideration. Double charged

My cabin account has been charged twice. This is unacceptable and P&O need to get their act together. Customer services are rubbish. Absolutely no excuse for their actions. Will never travel again with them. Having read previous comments,it takes 14 days to refund the mistake. P&O are making interest from holding double charges.

OUTSTANDING 12 NIGHTS AT SEA

We've just returned from a 12 night cruise with P&O to Norway. To say all aspects of the trip, once abroad the ship, were highly enjoyable would be an understatement; it was superb! It was our first cruise and an experience we hope to repeat many times in the coming years. The ship, Aurora, was very comfortable with extremely pleasant staff at all levels and really stylish decor. The cabin was cosy with plenty of storage and the public areas were kept incredibly clean and tidy. The bars were well stocked and prices were reasonable. The entertainment venues were comfortable and the entertainment was of a good standards. The restaurants were comfortable and well decorated and the staff waiting on tables were incredibly slick and professional, warm and friendly. The food was of a very high quality and the selection was vast over the 12 nights. All in all this was an excellent holiday and I would recommend anyone who has never gone on a cruise to consider P&O's Aurora very highly. It is a relatively small ocean liner with a very friendly atmosphere on board and it is also adult only, which no doubt added to the enjoyment of the whole experience. We shall certainly be cruising again at some stage in the not too distant future.

Wonderful first cruise

12-day Northern Lights cruise to Norway on the Aurora, first time cruise for me and my daughter. It was a fabulous experience. I have never been so well looked after anywhere. The ship is beautiful, the staff are fantastic, the food is tasty and beautifully presented (my dairy-free requirement was well catered for), and the evening entertainment was first class. And we saw the Lights!! If I had to be picky - WiFi really should be available as a matter of course, not as a fairly expensive add-on. Water bottle refilling stations would be appreciated. Two of the four shore days fell on a Sunday, which in Norway means the towns are mostly closed. And, since some football matches were streamed in Champions, could we also have had Strictly streamed in the Playhouse, please! Overall, a wonderful and very special experience which I hope to repeat.

Hi Janice, thank you for sharing your wonderful experience on the Northern Lights cruise. We are delighted to hear you and your daughter had a fabulous time. It's wonderful to know that you were well looked after and enjoyed the ship, staff, food, and entertainment. We are also thrilled that you were able to see the Northern Lights! We appreciate your feedback on the WiFi, water bottle refilling stations, and the impact of Sunday closures in Norway. We will certainly take your comments into consideration as we continue to improve our offerings. Best wishes, Daisy - P&O Cruises Social Media Team

Another amazing cruise from P&O

Amazing pre sales, Amazing Ship (Arvia) with exceptional staff and service on board. The whole process was seamless. I can’t praise the staff onboard enough. They are all extremely helpful and knowledgable. Have been on a few cruises with P&O and other companies but my next cruise will defo be with P&O (that’s because we booked it while on board this time !!)

Loved everything about the cruise on Iona

Everything from speedy car parking and on board check in, to customer service, entertainment, variety of things to do was brilliant. Loved being able to take advantage of things to do or relax

Exceptional Service on the best Cruise Ship to date

This will be our 3rd cruise on the Iona & from the min we left on the coach to Southampton & back home to Glasgow was first class service for the exception of 1 or 2 coach drivers who could brush up on their people skills. Exceptional Service on the best cruise Ship to date.

Hi Mr Bell, thank you for your kind words about your recent cruise on the Iona. I am delighted to hear that you enjoyed your experience. Hopefully we can welcome you on board again soon. Best wishes, Lucie - P&O Cruises Social Media Team

Lots of better options , cruises over 20 times & thought I would try p&o what a mistake ,there something fundamentally wrong with there colleagues ..from on the ship to the customer service there rude surley & seem very un happy …cruises on the Ionia which whist new seems to have faults with it plumbing …was also over priced …finally the chefs table was terrible …no style or service …worst company by far I’ve cruised with ..never again ….already contacted customer service …there not interested in anything except being unhelpful & blunt as I said never again

Second cruise on impressive Iona

This was our second time on Iona and we travelled to Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Hamburg and Bruges in a balcony cabin. The ship is huge, shiny and impressive but still feels spacious with helpful, welcoming crew. We were pleased with the 3 excursions booked with PandO which were well organised and ran on time, although we were underwhelmed with Amsterdam and would probably just stay in Rotterdam next time. Embarkation / disembarkation was very easy and quick and the crew were great. We were thinking of trying one of the adult only smaller ships but I'd miss the decor and luxury of a bigger ship so we'll stick with the Iona, Arvia or Britannia for our next cruise.

Hi there, thank you for sharing your experience on board Iona. I am thrilled to hear you enjoyed your second cruise with us, especially the ship's impressive size and the helpful crew. It's great that you found the excursions well-organized and that embarkation/disembarkation was smooth. I am glad you're planning to sail with us again and hope to welcome you back on board soon. Best wishes, Lucie - P&O Cruises Social Media Team

Northern Europe cruise

Northern Europe cruise . We sailed on the Iona. Enjoyed our destinations certainly eye openers. The ship is beautiful and staff attentive. I have say i find it difficult to find my way round I got lost several times even going back to my cabin if i took a different staircase or lift. I don't find the interactive maps helpful at all . Get back ,front and sides all the wrong way . Plus you can't get from one end to the other on some floors. The cruise itself was great value for money . The ship was clean and staff attentive. Could have done with more time at each port . We docked a good hour away from some cities and had to back on the ship quite early.

Hi Elaine! We appreciate you sharing your experience on the Iona. We're glad you enjoyed the destinations and found the ship beautiful and the staff attentive. We understand your frustration with the interactive maps and the layout of the ship. We'll take your feedback into consideration as we strive to improve the onboard experience for all our guests. Best wishes, Alex - P&O Cruises Social Media Team.

Great family cruise

Great family cruise! Travelled with my husband and 2 kids. The kids clubs were great and to be honest we hardly saw the children because they wanted to be there all the time! Bars and pools were nice; food was ok but nothing exceptional! Robert Peel international security were amazing with my SEND child when he had a melt down and the understanding and compassion they showed really made our holiday a better experience! Everything was clean, well organised and a really lovely holiday!

Hi Ann-Marie. we are delighted to hear you had such a wonderful family cruise. It's fantastic that the kids' clubs kept your children entertained and that you enjoyed the bars, pools, and overall cleanliness and organisation. We are incredibly grateful for your kind words about our international security team. Their dedication to providing exceptional care and support is truly commendable. Best wishes, Daisy - P&O Cruises Social Media Team

Amazing 4 day break!

Have just returned from a 4 day cruise aboard Arvia. Such a beautiful ship. So much to do, there really is something for everyone. The crew are absolutely amazing, so accommodating and professional, making you feel special, nothing is too much trouble. Loved dressing up for dinner every evening. Came home feeling relaxed and refreshed. Will most definitely book again. Thank you P&O.

Mv Aurora P & O, my experience, October 2024

I have gone on several cruises, with different Lines. The last one was the P&O Aurora. She is a modern ship but with few robots and fantasies. She is a beautiful ship well designed and has the facilities to meet most of the cruisers’ needs, with hot and normal pools, gyms, playing grounds and rooms, but no platforms for rockets to the moon or scuba diving. There is a variety of restaurants, from clutching plates and pile up to overflow, to being welcomed at reception desk and being escorted to a favoured table, with complete etiquette, and efficient service, good food a la carte, at no extra costs, even if an extra serving is asked for. No fancy robotic bars where you press a button like a vending machine, and some robotic arm places your choice on a counter for you to pick it up and carry to your table, but courteous human waiters who wait and offer help for a good choice. For Ballroom/Sequence dance fanatics, Aurora offers two exquisite halls, one of which is every evening, dedicated to Ballroom/Sequence dancing with versatile DJ’s. In our tentative cruise reaching out of the Arctic circle, we met some inclement weather nothing less than a wind force nine. But the able Captain Russell Robson and his team on the bridge of the formidable Aurora fought the waves, and life on the ship was near to normal. I will opt for her majesty Aurora with no hesitation.

Hi Angelo! Thank you for sharing your detailed experience on board Aurora. We appreciate your positive feedback on the ship's design, facilities, and the quality of the dining options. It's wonderful to hear about the dedicated ballroom space and the attentive service provided by the crew. We're also glad you enjoyed the ship's ability to navigate challenging weather conditions. Best wishes, Alex - P&O Cruises Social Media Team.

This was our first cruise on Ventura…

This was our first cruise on Ventura 19th-26th October 2024 1. Embarkation and disembarkation was a breeze 2. Food was mostly good, although as a vegetarian, the choices in the buffet were limited. That said, I didn't starve so it's all good 3. Staff were friendly, polite and approachable 4. Our cabin was great; our cabin steward was lovely - very attentive 5. Everywhere was clean. Yes, some areas are in need of refurbishment, but with thousands of people passing through her corridors each year, she's in remarkable condition 6. Entertainment was excellent - something to keep us busy every evening 7. On board communication was very good All in all, we would happily book again. 🙂

Hi Gill, thank you for your wonderful review of your cruise on board Ventura. We are delighted to hear that you had such a positive experience. We are particularly pleased that you enjoyed the embarkation and disembarkation process, the entertainment, and the cleanliness of the ship. We appreciate your feedback regarding the vegetarian options in the buffet, and we will take this into consideration as we continue to improve our offerings. We look forward to welcoming you back on board for another memorable cruise. Best wishes, Daisy - P&O Cruises Social Media Team
