Paul McCartney Will Get Back to the Road on ‘Got Back’ Tour

Paul McCartney will return to the road this year, announcing his 13-show Got Back tour, which will launch this spring.

The run will kick off April 28 at the Spokane Arena in Spokane, Washington, (his first-ever show in the city), and wrap June 16 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey (his first time there since 2016). McCartney will also play Hollywood, Florida, Knoxville, Tennessee, and Winston-Salem, North Carolina, for the first time, while he’ll return to Fort Worth, Texas, and Baltimore for his first shows there since 1976 with Wings and 1964 with the Beatles, respectively.

Tickets for the Got Back tour will go on sale on Feb. 25 at 10 a.m. local time. A presale for American Express cardholders will run from Feb. 22 at 10 a.m. local time through Feb. 24 at 10 p.m. local time. Full information is available on McCartney’s website .  

The Got Back tour marks McCartney’s first full-fledged tour since his Freshen Up run, which wrapped in July 2019. While not on the road — understandably, because of the pandemic — McCartney has stayed busy with a variety of other projects, like releasing his latest solo album, McCartney III , in December 2020. Last year, he also starred alongside Rick Rubin in the Hulu docuseries McCartney 3, 2, 1 , and he was also involved as a producer on Peter Jackson’s Beatles doc, Get Back .

The legendary Beatles bassist and singer Paul McCartney announced new 2023 tour dates. The shows will happen next October, November and December in Australia and Brazil. It will be the first time he plays in those countries after the Pandemic. Named “Got Back”, the tour has 12 scheduled dates so far and he will perform in Adelaide, Melbourne, Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Brasília, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte and Curitiba.

“I’ve got some good news. We’re coming back to Brazil in November to play for you. We have such great memories from all our visits. I love coming to Brazil because you guys like to rock, sing and party all at once. We’re really excited. Let’s have fun. Let’s rock. Let’s roll. Let’s stomp. Let’s stroll. And Brazil, let’s have a great time,” Paul McCartney said in his last statement.

His band continues the same with Paul “Wix” Wickens (keyboards), Brian Ray (bass/guitar), Rusty Anderson (guitar) and Abe Laboriel Jr (drums).

MC tours in Spain

We we have several guided tours in Spain this winter!

In collaboration with Aleksander Perez and Perez MC Tours we offer multiple guided tours in Spain during the winter 2023/2024. The tours include 3 full days with a varied program on some of the greatest motorcycling roads Andalucia has to offer. A mix of long, sweeping curves and smaller winding roads, uphill hairpin bends over mountain passes that lead to sights with wonderful panoramas. The rides offer a good mix of tarmac and dirt roads all day, 60% tarmac, 40 % dirt road. These tours do not require any particular off-road practice, but it’s an advantage if you have some experience and feel confident on your bike. We drive in groups of 8 people + guide to provide the maximum of safety, companionship, and joy of riding.

All you need to do is book a flight to Malaga and leave the rest to us.

What’s included?

• Motorcycle rent with insurance included (BMW R1250GS/GSA + one 850GS. We also have a lowered motorbike)
• 4 overnight stays in a 4-star hotel including breakfast
• Transport B&F to Malaga airport
• Welcome dinner

What’s not included?

• Food and drink (except breakfast and welcome dinner)

Price per person: NOK 16,200.00 For an extra cost of NOK 3,800.00 you can bring an additional passenger.

Our 4-star hotel, situated directly on the beach in Fuengirola, is the perfect starting point for our tours. An individual room with breakfast included is reserved for all our participants.

When Terje Bredal himself is not leading the tour, our ally Aleksander Perez will be your tour guide. He’s a Norwegian with a burning commitment for motorcycle driving, who lives in Spain during the winter months. His aim is to create amazing drives through the stunning Spanish landscapes. Aleksander has a solid background, considerable experience after several seasons working with Perez MC tours.

Recent tour reviews

Mac is a master song writer and a master musician. The song selection was great on March 8th. However, I prefer more Mac songs and a little less Jimmy Buffet accolades.

Mac's stories about his songs are very interesting and add a fuller dimension to his performance. His story telling parallels his music perfectly. If you get into his music, or behind it if you will, his mastery of minor chords and composition are of the finest combinations. It's easy to see why he receives his awards. It puzzles me why he doesn't get more notoriety on his performances.

If I may be so critical, the sound at The OB Opry was well balanced, except, in my humble opinion, the electric piano sounded that it was clipping on the high end. The speakers or volume seemed over capacity for the sound to reach maximum quality.

The Orange Blossom Opry is a great music setting. I hope to return.

It was a pleasure to see Mac in such a personal and well performed concert, as usual.

It's also great to talk to this fine and inspiring human being. Not just a great musician.

Mac did a great show at City Winery! He did request from the audience and told great stories about his career in music. I would highly recommend his shows and the venue, City Winery. He stayed to sign autographs and give photos until every last person got through the line!
