1330 Korea Travel Hotline, operated by Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), is a one-stop helpline available as a public service for local and international travelers. For any inquiries or complaints relating to Korean tourism, either beforehand or during your stay in Korea, you can seek assistance here as well.

Knowledgeable and helpful staff provide assistance in Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Vietnamese, Thai, or Malay to ensure each caller has a worry-free travel experience. The KTO's 1330 Korea Travel Hotline provides information and services for most regions of Korea as well as interpretation services.

Emergency and Related Service

In order to assist travelers with immigration, safety and medical needs, tourist complaints, and other concerns, 1330 can connect callers to the 1345 Ministry of Justice Call Center, 119 Emergency Rescue Service, KTO Complaint Center, and other related call centers.

Trained specialists provide tourism interpretation and assistance for tourists in Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Vietnamese, Thai, and Malay.

To provide tourists with wide range of useful information of Korea tourism, the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) operates Tourist Information Centers, with the main branch situated on the sixth floor of KTO Seoul Office.

The Korea Tourism Organization currently operates five Tourist Information Centers and two Medical Tourism Information Centers at major locations throughout the country, including KTO Seoul Office, Incheon International Airport and Jeju Jungmun Resort.

KTO Tourist Information Center (TIC) & Medical Tourism Information Center

New Workcation Visa Allows up to 2 Years Stay

A new workcation visa is being tested starting January 2024 for remote workers of overseas companies who wish to stay in Korea. Workcation is a portmanteau of the words “work” and “vacation,” referring to a situation where one works remotely while traveling. Previously, remote workers traveling in Korea were limited to stays over up to 90 days. The new workcation visa is valid for one year upon entry, with the possibility to extend for one more year. Applicants must work at an overseas company and have earned a salary equivalent to at least 85,000,000 KRW in the previous year. Qualifying applicants may also apply for their dependent family to stay in Korea during the visa valid period. Eligible remote workers currently staying in Korea on a short-term visitor visa can apply for change of visa. Take note that this visa does not as act as a work permit for employment in Korea and such use is strictly prohibited. Inquiries: Korea Immigration Services +82-1345

• • Images provided by the KTO Photo korea must be used for requested purposes only. If you with to use image for other purposes, please re-submit request.
• • Photos with the 'Korea Open Goverment License (KOGL)' logo must be used according to KOGL rules and regulations. Photos without the KOGL logo must follow rules and regulations set by the Korea Tourism Organization. contact the KTO Photo korea for details.
• • Downloaded photos may not be distributed to 3rd party without the consent of KTO.
• • All downloaded photos must be cited as '©Korea Tourism Organization-potographer' when used.
