Nichts hätte Jacob mit seiner phänomenalen Band besser machen können. Von vorne bis hinten eines der besten Konzerte die man erleben kann und muss, wenn man die Chance dazu hat. Musikalisch wirklich einer der talentiertesten Musiker der Welt und seine Interaktion mit den Zuschauern macht jedes Konzert einzigartig!

Einfach unfassbar gut !!!

Wir waren zu 2. In Wien zum besagten Event. Wir kannten die Musik und das Genie von Jacob schon von YouTube, Spotify, aber daß er Live so derartig gut und perfekt abliefert, das hätten wir nicht gedacht. Wir waren auf vielen Konzerten - aber das war mit Abstand eines der Oberklasse. Das Geld ist es definitiv Wert- ich denke sogar wenn die Musik nicht 100€ das eigene Geschmacksfeld trifft. Die Atmosphäre, die Energie, die Perfektion. Einfach unglaublich!!!

Es war ein unglaubliches Erlebnis Jacob Collier und seine Band live auf der Bühne zu sehen. Es war magisch und anfangs surreal. Ein besonderer Höhepunkt war für mich Jacobs Stimme im harmonischen Mix mit den drei Frauen Stimmen. während dem Konzert konnte ich mehrere Male meine Tränen nicht zurückhalten. Mit seiner innovativen Art Musik zu machen, inspiriert und motiviert mich Jacob jedes Mal aufs Neue ✨ Danke dafür ☺️🙏

There's an entire world of music inside Jacob Collier that he's happy to share with his audiences if you're lucky enough to attend one of his concerts. Using one-of-a-kind custom designed technology, he's able to replicate the complex harmonies from his YouTube videos in a live setting. He also scampers around the stage playing drums, percussion, bass, guitar, piano and synthesizer, all of which are sampled in real time to provide densely layered musical textures.

I saw him last fall at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco and again last night at the San Francisco Jazz Center, and in the intervening months he has shown tremendous growth as a performer and entertainer. His set now includes a video component which is shot live every night and therefore is different at each performance. The videos added subtle nuances and shadings to his songs that made each of them a more complete emotional expression of his musical world.

In addition to performing several of his own compositions from his debut CD, "In My Room," his set also included songs by Stevie Wonder, George Gershwin, Lennon & McCartney and Bacharach & David. He takes the concept of a one-man band to an entirely new, dynamic and fascinating level and also lends new meaning to the phrase "playing with yourself." (Sorry, couldn't resist the cheap tacky joke!)

This was one of the best concerts I've ever attended! Jacob Collier is fantastic and a musical genius! I first heard about Jacob listening to a PBS fresh air radio broadcast and decided to look him up on you tube. I was so impressed that I got my husband who has a doctorate degree in piano performance to listen with me. He agreed that Jacob is a musical genius so I searched for tickets in the US and found the Bowery Ballroom performance. We traveled by train from Baltimore to attend and we would go see him again and bring friends this time! Come to the Baltimore/DC region, Jacob!!!

Jacob was fabulous! He is brilliantly creative, a great jazz artist (and all other genres). Highlights are him singing (unbelievable range and falsetto) and playing piano. Great band. Great sound team (he gave credit to sound technicians, which should be done more often because of how important they are). Electronic effects are amazing. In some ways Jacob reminded me of the next generation of Frank Zappa. Great entertainer, I need to see him again.

Best show, best songs, best atmosphere amongst the mid-aged public. Very few youngsters, surprisingly though.

A vivid performance and beautiful music, excellently mastering diverse instruments.

A deep bow, a deep thanks for the music.

Jacob Collier is truly an incredible talent, performer, musician, songwriter, etc. There's no other artist like him. He interacts with the audience really well and just seems to be such a genuine, fun, and intelligent person. Jacob's show was definitely an unforgettable (and almost unbelievable) experience.

The best audience experience ever. Never before has someone involved the audience so much in the musical experience. The production quality on this from audio to lighting is masterful. The other 3 musicians were fantastic as well. Such an extravagent show yet theres still many moments of intimacy.

That was the most incredible show I've ever seen. I could have watched it for a whole day and still felt like I couldn't get enough. Even if you don't know him but you have a chance go see him. It'll be the best concert you ever see and bring utter joy and awe

It was awesome! However, the venue was too small for all the people in there and there was no elevation whatsoever, so for us the short people it was impossible to enjoy thw full experience (bad bad venue). Jacob et all were awesome though

Best concert I've ever attended! Jacob was breathtaking. His band was fantastic and the level of musicianship on the stage was staggering. Would definitely see him again! I hope he plays in Portland again sometime soon.

Jacob Collier Announces UK & Europe Dates for the 'Djesse Vol. 4' World Tour 2024

General onsale begins on Friday, 1st December at 10am local time.

The 5-time Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Jacob Collier has announced his biggest European headline tour to date.

Next Autumn, following the release of his highly anticipated (already Grammy-nominated) album Djesse Vol. 4 (February 29th Hajanga / Decca / Interscope), Collier and his illustrious band will traverse the continent on a 22-date run, produced by Live Nation, which kicks off in Portugal on 2nd November at Lisbon's Sala Tejo, followed by shows in Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and France, culminating in the UK with a special hometown show at The O2 in London.

The announcement comes after the release of Collier's new single “Witness Me”, featuring Canadian singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes, British rap titan Stormzy and 19-time Grammy-winning gospel legend Kirk Franklin , for a heart-warming ode to the power of empathy. Heralded ‘The World's Hottest Record' by BBC Radio 1 this week, you can watch the visualiser video here, which features exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from the official music video, coming Tuesday 28th November.

“Witness Me” is the fourth glimpse into Collier's next installment of his genre-defying quadruple album project DJESSE, which, alongside previously released singles “Little Blue (feat. Brandi Carlile)”, “Wherever I Go (feat. Lawrence & Michael McDonald )”, “WELLLL” and Grammy-nominated “Never Gonna Be Alone (feat. Lizzy McAlpine & John Mayer )”, gives a fascinating insight into the upcoming album's extraordinary depth and range.

In the midst of working on Djesse, Collier began turning his concert audiences into sprawling, improvised choirs. While conducting the crowd across the globe, from rock clubs to the Lincoln Center, and even festival fields like Bonnaroo and Glastonbury, droves of fans have all been united in rousing harmony, furthering his guiding belief that everyone in this world has a voice, and is a musician. Having recorded each of his 90+ audience choirs, over 150,000 voices from around the world play a vital role in the story and creation of Djesse Vol. 4.

In the last twelve months alone, videos of Collier's audience choir have garnered hundreds of millions of views; he was the first-ever male to be featured as a Vogue Darling; he appeared on the July cover of Rolling Stone UK, as well as co-writing and performing on seven tracks of Stormzy's This Is What I Mean.

He has also collaborated extensively with Coldplay, performing with them on Saturday Night Live in February, as a featured guest at their Wembley Stadium shows last summer, and on their album Music of the Spheres. He has also contributed to major hits including SZA's "Good Days", songs by Lizzy McAlpine and Kehlani, launched a sold-out signature line of music-making Crocs, and recently headlined his biggest career show to date at the 17000-capacity Hollywood Bowl.

About Jacob Collier

Recognized by audiences, critics, and fellow musicians alike as one of the most gifted young artists of modern times, 29-year-old Jacob Collier already has a seemingly endless list of achievements including five Grammy wins along with 11 Grammy nominations including Album of the Year in 2021.

As a result, his roster of collaborators is astoundingly varied and vibrant. Jacob's voice has been featured on recent songs from the likes of Coldplay, SZA, Stormzy, and Kehlani. In his own projects, Collier has worked with an unpredictable cast of artistic powerhouses, from Malian singer Oumou Sangaré to John Mayer , T-Pain, Ty Dolla $ign, Daniel Caesar, and Tori Kelly (to name a few).

Exploding onto the global stage with the viral success of his multi-frame, multi-instrumental YouTube covers, Collier caught the attention of Quincy Jones and under his mentorship released his debut album, In My Room, in 2016, which was recorded, produced, and played entirely by Collier. Djesse (his most recent 4-volume album project) has been a natural progression from the one-man process of In My Room, expanding to include collaborators from all over the world.

The resulting volumes of Djesse have delivered on Collier's ambitious promise, featuring an incredible array of artistic peers, and musical themes that encompass everything from orchestral composition to folk songwriting, R&B, rap and pop. Ultimately, although Collier has already achieved more than most artists could hope for in a lifetime, he is still restlessly creative. Alongside the upcoming release of Djesse Vol. 4, he has plans for future projects centered on solo piano, orchestras, film scoring, teaching, musical theatre, and more.

This week, Jacob Collier added 2024 tour dates.

In conjunction with his upcoming album, Djesse Vol. 4 , new shows in the UK and Europe are planned in November and December. Djesse Vol. 4 is scheduled for release on February 29. Watch the music video for the new song " Little Blue " featuring Brandi Carlile.

Previously, the singer and multi-instrumentalist announced he will also perform at venues across North America from April into June. Joining the bill as the opening act on select dates will be Kimbra or Emily King. Over 50 shows are planned at this time.

For the new dates, the general public on-sale begins as early as December 1. Presales for Artist / album pre-orders begin November 29. Live Nation, LN Mobile App., and local venues / radio presales will follow. Tickets for the previously announced dates are now on sale. Since 2018, Collier has been working on Djesse, a four-volume album that has featured an eclectic mix of collaborators, including Herbie Hancock, Daniel Caesar, Tank and the Bangas, T-Pain, and JoJo. “I’ve written for orchestra, I’ve written for choir. I’ve collaborated with rock guitar legends and folk fiddlers and pipers and rappers and trappers, and some of the biggest pop stars in the world,” Collier says of the years he’s spent on the project. “It’s just this plethora of teachers for me; I’ve been able to learn straight from these people’s experiences by building a bridge from my world into theirs.”

Out February 29, final installment Djesse Vol. 4 boasts contributions from Stormzy, John Mayer, Brandi Carlile, Michael McDonald , and Shawn Mendes, as well as the voices of more than 150,000 audience members Collier recorded singing along with him over the course of 91 concerts. “ Vol. 4 is fundamentally an album in celebration of the human voice,” says Collier. “This is far and away the most ambitious thing I’ve ever done. It’s been a whirlwind of sound and exploration.”

For this issue, Collier curated a playlist inspired by the theme of joy, with songs that make you smile as well as more introspective tracks. In addition to Fleet Foxes’ lush folk tune “Ragged Wood” and Kimbra’s psychedelic earworm “Sweet Relief,” he chose Earth, Wind & Fire’s funky 1978 hit “September.” “Everyone knows and loves it,” he says of the last track. “It’s joy in a song.”

Today, off the back of a history-making fifth Grammy win , 26-year-old singer and multi-instrumentalist Jacob Collier announces the first set of dates for his forthcoming ‘Djesse’ World Tour.

The 67-date run of shows will reach the UK in June 2022, marking Collier’s biggest UK performances to date including a show at O2 Academy Brixton in London on June 15. Tickets go on sale at 10am this Friday, March 26. Visit the artist’s official website for further information about all the dates.

News of Collier’s record-breaking Grammy win reverberated across the globe last week as the highly accomplished young artists took home his fifth Award for Best Arrangement for his song “He Won’t Hold You” feat. Rapsody, and became the first British artist of all time to win a Grammy Award for each of his first four albums ( In My Room, Djesse Vol. 1, Vol. 2 and Vol. 3 ). Collier now boasts a total of five Grammy wins from seven nominations across his first four albums.

Jacob Collier Announces Biggest North American Tour to Date

Today, English singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Jacob Collier shared the details for his biggest headlining tour in North America to date. During his travels, which will take place in the spring of 2024, the artist will be joined by American singer and songwriter Emily King and New Zealand singer and songwriter Kimbra on select dates.

The 31-date tour, produced by Live Nation, will kick off at Toronto’s Coca-Cola Coliseum on April 22 and run through mid-June. From there, the artist and his ensemble of talented collaborators will grace the hallowed halls of venues like Radio City Music Hall in New York, Philadelphia’s The Met, The Fillmore in New Orleans, Austin, Texas’ Moody Amphitheater, Los Angeles, The iconic Greek Theatre in L.A., Nashville, Tenn.’s gorgeous Grand Ole Opry and more.

The tour will commence following the release of Collier’s  Djesse Vol. 4 (Feb. 29, 2024), the fourth and final set in a series of  Djesse  albums that began in 2018. Collier recently released “Little Blue,” a gem from the album with Brandi Carlile. Read more about the series and single here .
