An enchanting mix of traditional Celtic music with a pop-rock twist, The Corrs have written some of the biggest songs of the last three decades.  

Patrons with general Admission tickets will receive access to the event area, which is general admission.

Patrons with tickets in either A, B or C reserve have allocated seating provided in these areas.

There is limited street parking in the venue surrounds and we suggest patrons park (first in best dressed) in the streets surrounding Hagley Park only in marked car parking areas.

Limited spots available on a first in, best dressed basis in Armagh Street. Accessible parking will be available, located within proximity to the event entry. Please follow the direction signage to this area. There are a very limited number of mobility parking spaces available.

Once inside the venue, patrons may take advantage of a dedicated viewing area located within the event with a view of the stage. This area Is unreserved and available for mobility-impaired patrons and their immediate carers only.

In November 2023, The Corrs will be coming to New Zealand for a two-stop national tour, joined by Aussie pop royalty Natalie Imbruglia, the legendary Toni Childs and Adelaide trio, Germein. 

An enchanting mix of traditional Celtic music with a pop-rock twist, The Corrs have written some of the biggest songs of the last three decades. The Corrs are a family affair, Andrea (lead vocals), Sharon (violin, piano, vocals), Caroline (drums, piano, vocals) and Jim (guitar, piano, vocals) have sold over 40 million albums worldwide and in excess of two million albums in Australia since their 1995 debut album Forgiven Not Forgotten crashed into the charts and stole our hearts.

The Corrs are thrilled to be coming to New Zealand in 2023 and bringing their music to fans in Auckland, playing all of their hit that New Zealanders know and love. When asked about their New Zealand tour, The Corrs responded “Returning to New Zealand is a dream come true! We can’t wait to see you all next year!”.

When do tickets for The Corrs New Zealand tour go on sale?

Tickets to The Corrs in November 2023 will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday 20 December 2022. Tickets are on sale via Ticketmaster.co.nz.

Log into your Ticketmaster account and update your password if needed!

Get in early and ensure all your MyTicketmaster account details are up to date – from your password to your card details and your phone number.

Ticketmaster will regularly ask you to update your password to ensure the security of your account – you don’t want to get stuck having to change your password while the ticket timer is counting down during onsale as you can risk losing the incredible tickets you have secured.

Instead, now that you know you want to purchase tickets, log into your account and update your password today to ensure you are ready to nab those tickets.

Get to know Ticketmaster’s Smart Queue

If you aren’t familiar with  Smart Queue , it is Ticketmaster’s way of creating a clear and fair process for thousands of fans to buy tickets in a short space of time. Fans enter the virtual  Waiting Room  prior to onsale time before joining the  Smart Queue  – which acts as a ‘virtual line’, helping us protect you and your tickets in a more effective way.

The time you join the Waiting Room does not determine your place in the Smart Queue, so we recommend joining at least 10 minutes prior to the event going on sale.

When the sale begins, the Smart Queue will open and everyone in the Waiting Room is given a place in line. Those who did not join the Waiting Room will be placed at the end of the line.

Accessible seats (including Companion Cards) can be purchased during the presales via Customer Service if you can quote a relevant password.

Why can’t I access my tickets right away?

All tickets purchased*** for The Corrs 2023 New Zealand tour are digital and will be accessible on a digital mobile/smartphone via Ticketmaster’s mobile app or web browser closer to the event date. Therefore, no physical tickets will be posted or emailed in advance.

Once the tickets have been purchased, you will receive a confirmation email as proof of purchase. This is NOT your ticket or ticket(s). You will receive instructions on how to access their ticket(s) much nearer to the shows if relevant.

There will be a time limit applied to all transactions as you are progressed through the ticket purchasing stages. Don’t refresh your screen

There is limited parking so we encourage you to park on the nearby streets or take public transport/carpool to and from the event. 

Accessible parking will be available, located near the event entry. There are a very limited number of parks available.

WEATHER POLICY: The Corrs Christchurch event is an outdoor open-air concert that will proceed rain, hail or shine. In the very unlikely occurrence of an event cancellation, all ticketholders will be advised via email, and social media as well as an update on their website.

The event will only be cancelled if the site is deemed too dangerous to proceed/continue. This decision will be made by Event Management/ Security/The Venue and Emergency Services.

Patrons are advised to come prepared for the elements with appropriate attire, sunscreen, wide-brimmed hats, and jackets/ponchos.

The Corrs have announced two NZ tour dates for 2023.

2023 is shaping up to be a huge year for music fans and now there is another concert to add to your list: The Corrs are coming back to New Zealand in November next year.

The Irish Celtic-infused pop icons, known for their top hits such as Breathless , Heaven Knows and Runaway are returning to Aotearoa for two huge shows in Auckland and Christchurch.

The family-based band made up of, Andrea (lead vocals), Sharon (violin, piano, vocals), Caroline (drums, piano, vocals) and Jim Corr (guitar, piano, vocals), have created some of the biggest contemporary tracks over the past three decades and they are excited to be sharing them live with their Kiwi fans.

“Returning to New Zealand is a dream come true! We can’t wait to see you all next year!” the band said with the band’s promoter, Andrew McManus insisting the two shows will be “the best concerts of the year”.

Joining the popular band will be Australian pop artist, Natalie Imbruglia – who may be familiar to some having cameoed in the final episode of Neighbours this year after starring as Beth Brennan in the 90s.

Emmy winner and three-time Grammy-nominated star, Toni Childs will also join the band to perform her top hits, Don’t Walk Away , Stop Your Fussin’ and Because You’re Beautiful , among other famous and new hits.

Australian trio Germein will also join the band. Adding to the family feeling, siblings Georgia, Ella and Clara Germein have opened for performers such as Phil Collins and Ronan Keating and are excited to now be opening for The Corrs.

The Corrs debuted in 1995 with their chart-topping album, Forgiven Not Forgotten , before taking a short break and returning in 2000 with In Blue, which has earned 132 million plays on Spotify.

Despite their last album release being five years ago in 2017, the band remain popular and are thrilled to be touring again after years of Covid disruptions.

Irish Celtic infused pop icons, The Corrs will return to New Zealand in November 2023. Joining them will be Aussie pop icon Natalie Imbruglia , the legendary Toni Childs and Adelaide trio, Germein .

The Corrs are a family affair, Andrea (lead vocals), Sharon (violin, piano, vocals), Caroline (drums, piano, vocals) and Jim (guitar, piano, vocals) have sold over 40 million albums worldwide and in excess of two million albums in Australia since their 1995 debut album Forgiven Not Forgotten crashed into the charts and stole our hearts.

An enchanting mix of traditional Celtic music with a pop rock twist, The Corrs have written some of the biggest songs of the last three decades.

Forgiven Not Forgotten gave us the incredible title track, the exquisite Heaven Knows and of course, arguably one of the biggest adult contemporary songs of the modern era, Runaway .

Their second album, Talk On Corners led with I Never Loved You Anyway , So Young and Only When I Sleep and is their biggest selling album to date.

After a short break, The Corrs returned with In Blue which features their highest streaming ever. The enchanting Breathless has received staggering 132 million plays on Spotify and counting!

Returning to their folk roots with Borrowed Heaven and Home , The Corrs went on a decade-long hiatus to raise families, only to return in 2015 with White Light and their latest release 2017’s Jupiter Calling , featuring the sublime, Son Of Solomon and SOS (Song of Syria) .

The Corrs are thrilled to return in 2023 and bring their music to fans in New Zealand, playing all of their hits that New Zealanders know and love.

Promoter Andrew McManus adds, “After nearly two years since we made the first approach for The Corrs to reform and play in New Zealand, managing Covid lockdowns, New Zealand border closures and more, to finally be able to bring the band finally to perform live in both Auckland and Christchurch is an incredibly proud achievement. These two New Zealand shows will be the best concerts of the year.”

One of Australia’s most loved pop artists, Natalie Imbruglia first stole our hearts over a quarter of a century ago with her chart topping smash hit cover of the iconic track, Torn , the most played song on Australian radio since 1990!

Since then she has released six studio albums and in 2021 she made a triumphant return with her critically acclaimed, Top 10 album, Firebird . Natalie has won 8 Aria’s, 2 Brit Awards, one Billboard Music Award and received three Grammy Nominations!

Most recently, Natalie had a cameo in the final ever episode of Neighbours where she played Beth Brennan through the 90’s and won the third series of the UK version of The Masked Singer.

Emmy winner and three-time Grammy nominated recording artist, installation artist and environmental activist Toni Childs will return with The Corrs in November. Toni will be bringing with her an engaging show involving film, 3D mapping, animation, lighting, set design and interactive components.

With an instantly recognisable voice and a string of international hits such as: Don’t Walk Away , Stop Your Fussin , House of Hope , I’ve Got to go Now and Because You’re Beautiful , plus three new works, It’s All a Beautiful Noise , Reef 360 and Citizens of the Planet , Toni’s set will be filled with light, love, inspiration, thoughts and stories.

Irish band The Corrs to play two New Zealand shows in 2023

Irish band The Corrs are to tour New Zealand in November 2023, playing shows with former Neighbours star Natalie Imbruglia and Toni Childs.

The band will play Auckland's Spark Arena on Thursday, November 9 before heading to Christchurch's Hagley Park on Saturday, November 11.

"Returning to New Zealand is a dream come true! We can't wait to see you all next year," the band said in a statement.

Tickets for the show go on sale on Tuesday, December 20.

The Irish Celtic band formed in 1990 and became popular with radio-friendly hits like 'Breathless' and 'Irresistible'.

'Breathless' has received over 132 million plays on Spotify.

Jim, Caroline, Sharon and Andrea Corr also appeared in 1992 film The Commitments and rose to Irish and international fame throughout the decade and into the 2000s.

The Corrs sold 45 million records before going on hiatus in 2006.

They reunited in 2015, releasing album White Light and embarking on a European tour in 2016.

Review: the corrs leave christchurch crowd breathless.

Review - With The Corrs, Toni Childs and Natalie Imbruglia performing at Hagley Park this weekend, I was happy to feel my age and wallow in 90s nostalgia.

It occurred to me recently that I might not be the young man I had, up until now, pictured myself to be.

It happened while I was listening to a nostalgic radio programme and one of my favourite 90s songs was introduced as "30 years old today".

Pushing aside the realization that the things I grew up with are now "vintage", I found myself with tickets to The Corrs - Irelands famous family band.

Also on the bill, Toni Childs and Natalie Imbruglia - 90s nostalgia it seems is in. I only wish I still had my turtleneck jumper.

Opening act Germein, made up of three sisters from Adelaide, were a sparkling appetizer of playful indie pop.

Georgia, Ella and Clara Germein worked the crowd and their set list as effortlessly as their more experienced peers and had crowd warming up to what would be an excellent afternoon.

Toni Childs took the stage next, sitting quietly at the front with her guitarist at first.

"Kia ora," she said softly, before talking about her memories of Christchurch and paying respect to the strength of the city's people.

Opening with I've Got To Go Now , Childs iconic voice remains as halting now as it did when we first heard it 35 years ago.

We were blessed to hear it shine over several of her classics, including Stop Your Fussin' and Don't Walk Away .

As the sun started to dip, Natalie Imbruglia came out to remind us what continues to make her so popular.

The singer entertained and connected with the audience, making her impossible not to watch.

What It Feels Like from her recent album Firebird was an easy way to get the crowd up and dancing, before she moved through songs old and new.

These included Wrong Impression and Build It Better before landing on the hit , Torn, as a tasteful finale.

When The Corrs took the stage late in the evening, they did so with a drum solo that thundered through the gathering at Hagley Park, tearing the lid off an hour and a half of some of the best pop songs of the 90s.

Opening song Only When I Sleep showcased The Corrs' incredible talent. Four skilful siblings effortlessly playing drums, guitar, fiddle and tin whistle with four part harmonies, clever hooks and easily relatable lyrics, it is no surprise they continue to draw crowds with songs written three decades ago.

The hits kept coming. Give Me A Reason , Summer Sunshine , Forgiven, Not Forgotten , and What Can I Do To Make You Love Me all landed to rapturous applause, before the band performed their tribute to Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac - a cover of Tell me Lies .

A smattering of traditional Irish jigs, including Toss The Feathers and Haste to the Wedding , as well as covers of Jimi Hendrix's Little Wing and Fleetwood Mac's Dreams were included.

With more hits - Runaway and Breathless - as encores, it was an evening that won't be forgotten.

And if growing up in the 90s means I am indeed an old fella, at least I can happily say we had good music.
