Jack Stauber Vanished at the Height of His Internet Fame — Fans Want Answers

• YouTuber and musician Jack Stauber has been missing in action for the past few years.
• Fans are worried about him and want to know how he's doing.
• Other than a few random Instagram and YouTube updates, Jack has only posted on Patreon.

YouTuber and musician Jack Stauber appears to be M.I.A. and left fans wondering what he is up to. He began his career back in 2013 when he started uploading online. Since then, he has amassed a huge audience with over 2.6 million subscribers and nearly 1 million Instagram followers.

Fans love Jack for his quirky, unique sound and style. He tends to push the boundaries of genre in music, mixing a synth-pop feel with other genres like rock, jazz, and folk. On top of his music, he makes strange animations and layers his voice and music over top of them as a way to keep his fans engaged in his content.

What happened to Jack Stauber?

Now, his animations seem to have stopped. In fact, his last upload on YouTube was about a year ago and his last Instagram appearance was about two years ago. Basically, fans think he disappeared without so much as a goodbye. Every so often, fans start churning out rumors and theories as they try to crack the case.

Between Jack's last two Instagram posts, about a year went by in between. On his most recent, the one from a year ago, the comments are turned off, so no one was able to ask where he has been. Jack didn't turn off the comments for the one prior, though, and fans continue to shower him with love and a bit of worry. "We miss you, Jack," wrote one fan. The irony is that the video itself is a song about missing someone dearly.

Jack's Patreon may have some answers.

Reddit has tried for a while to figure out what happened to their beloved Jack. "No one really knows tbh, but the best window is Patreon," a fan speculated last year. "He stopped posting regularly after the DINO (Dinner Is Not Over) EP. On Patreon, he said it was because he had a 'BIG project in the works' which is safe to assume was Opal. After the release, he said on Patreon that he was building a small studio and was eager to get back to music making."

Sadly, the fan explained that Jack's commitment to getting back to music was a bit outdated. After all, he made that promise back in 2020. As of two months ago, fans said Jack was still posting monthly content to Patreon, but they aren't convinced it's necessarily new creative work. "I wouldn't be surprised if most of it's old content that the scrapped and just never released publicly," the fan said.

Even on Patreon, Jack apparently struggles to keep up with posting, often waiting until the end of the month to do so. "Maybe he had to get a different job and it's making it hard to find time to make art. Maybe he's not doing great and needed a break," the fan wondered.

Other fans are hopeful, believing that he's staying true to his promise and working on "something big." Doubt is still in the air, though, as many believe he just moved on with his life, got a wife, and settled down.

Jack Stauber (born April 6, 1956) is an American-Cowellan musician, singer-songwriter, designer and animator based in Logrant, Cowell.

Early Life [ ]

Jack Stauber was born in Pennsylvania, USA on April 6, 1956, and grew up for most of his childhood in an American household in Pennsylvania.

In January 1961, Stauber formed a band, the Wiggling Fingers, together with his four fellow school students (Carter Uston, George Demarest, Kellie Anderson, and Nathan Shang). They recorded one single, "Kiss Me Goodnight/Walking Behind Miss Lucy." Stauber played drums and sang vocals. Six months later, the record was not successful, and the band broke up when he enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania.

He and his family moved to Logrant, Cowell when he was 10 years old in 1965.

In January 1969, Jack Stauber met Spencer Roeback (b. January 6, 1949) created his duet with him called "Jack Stauber and Spencer Roeback" creating their first album "Paper Hat", and in 1976, the duet band broke up.

In March 1977, he first debuted as a solo singer creating his first studio album, "Finite Form".

Jack Stauber had his marriage to Molly Sheerin (b. April 3, 1952) in circa 1973, they get married in 1973, and made kids, Michael Stauber (b. 1977), Matthew Stauber (b. 1979), Ebony Stauber (b. 1980) and Eric Stauber in (b. 1985).

Controversy [ ]

In March 1991, Jack Stauber has cancer and was sent to Emerald Hospital (built in 1880) to get a full recovery, and in April 1991, he shaved his hair off.

Germany accident [ ]

In December 2003, Jack Stauber was involved in an accident at Deutsches Theater in Berlin, Germany where an audience member punches him in the nose causing his nose to bleed.

Jack White ’s four solo albums in the years that followed the breakup of the White Stripes are explorations of styles that show multiple other sides of his musicianship, veering into R&B and blues and experimental styles far from the straight-ahead, blistering rock and roll he’d laid down with the band that put him on the map. Those albums are all cool and often great, but it’s hard to deny that although his fans like, respect and appreciate them — along with side projects like the Raconteurs and Dead Weather — secretly they wished he’d just put together a small rock band, plug in, turn the volume up and let rip.

In classic contrarian fashion, White has basically said that the band isn’t really doing a tour but just playing shows, with union halls and similar small venues on the docket — there are a handful of U.S. and U.K. dates scheduled this fall, with hopefully more to come.

Traditional, straight-ahead, guitar-driven rock and roll has been in a sad place for the last couple of decades — it has little direct connection to the music that’s popular today, except for country, and in many ways the White Stripes seem like the last great rock band, or at least the last one to really move the culture into maybe-not-so-new but truly exciting places. But as “No Name” and Monday night’s concert show, if there’s one person to keep it alive and kicking, it’s Jack White.

England name Brydon Carse and Jack Leach in Test squad for Pakistan tour but Dan Lawrence dropped

Uncapped seamer Brydon Carse has been included in England ’s Test squad for the upcoming tour to Pakistan , while spinners Jack Leach and Rehan Ahmed have been recalled to the side.

There is no place, though, for Dan Lawrence , who has been dropped following a poor series against Sri Lanka, with uncapped Essex batter Jordan Cox preferred.

Notably, Chris Woakes is included and in line to lead the attack, having not played a Test away from home since March 2022.

England have named an enlarged 17-man squad for the tour, in part because captain Ben Stokes and opening batter Zak Crawley are still recovering from the hamstring and finger injuries that ruled them out of the recent 2-1 series win over Sri Lanka.

An ECB statement said Crawley “is making significant progress in his recovery to earn selection” and that England have decided against picking a reverse opener suggests they are confident he will be fit.

Stokes, meanwhile, suggested in an interview last week that he is touch and go to be back in time for the first Test of the three-match series.

In Crawley’s absence against Sri Lanka, England gave Lawrence the chance to open after he had spent much of the past two years carrying drinks. Usually a middle-order player, though, the Surrey batter struggled and made a top score of 35 in six innings.

The 27-year-old had hoped his spin bowling would help his case for inclusion for the Pakistan tour, but England have instead backed Cox, who will make his international debut in Wednesday’s first T20 against Australia at Southampton.

Carse only returned from a three-month betting ban at the end of last month but was called straight back into the England white-ball set-up and could now make his Test debut in Pakistan.

With Mark Wood out for the rest of the year with an elbow stress fracture, James Anderson retired and Ollie Robinson out of favour, it is all change from the seam attack that excelled during England’s historic 3-0 victory in Pakistan two years ago.

Josh Hull, the 20-year-old left-armer, is kept on after making his debut in the Third Test against Sri Lanka, as are Olly Stone, Matthew Potts and Gus Atkinson, who all featured in the home summer.

Woakes’ inclusion is significant. The 35-year-old was left out of last winter’s tour to India despite having been player of the series during the home Ashes and had suggested he could see out his career as a home specialist.

The Warwickshire seamer has a markedly better record on English soil than away from home, but reopened the door to touring last month and will be the senior man in the attack.

Leach, meanwhile, was injured during the First Test of that India tour and had not played for England since, having lost his berth as first-choice spinner to Somerset teammate Shoaib Bashir.

Ahmed also missed out on any involvement during the home summer, but toured India last winter and took a second-innings five-for when becoming the youngest man to play Test cricket for England on debut in Pakistan two years ago.

The series is due to start on October 7, with final venues to be confirmed later this week. There were initially suggestions part of the series may be moved to the United Arab Emirates because of stadium renovations ahead of next year's Champions Trophy but it is now expected that the entire series will take place in Pakistan.

England have called up uncapped fast bowler Brydon Carse for their three-match Test tour of Pakistan next month, with the venues still to be determined.

Carse has this season served a three-month ban for historical breaches of betting rules but seems the main beneficiary of a year-ending elbow injury to Durham team-mate and fellow speedster Mark Wood.

The South Africa-born 29-year-old, who has featured in 17 white-ball internationals for England, takes his place in a 17-strong squad alongside another player yet to make his Test bow, Jordan Cox.

However, Cox served as England's back-up batter for the recent 2-1 series win over Sri Lanka and retains his squad place for a trip which is supposed to get under way on October 7 in Multan.

There are due to be further Tests planned in Karachi (October 15-19) and Rawalpindi (October 24-28) but renovations ahead of next year's Champions Trophy are causing problems at the latter two venues.

It is understood one or more of the games could be moved to the United Arab Emirates or Sri Lanka, with the England and Wales Cricket Board awaiting developments.

Dan Lawrence was a makeshift opener against Sri Lanka in the injury-enforced absence of Zak Crawley but he failed to make an impression with a top-score of 35 in six innings and he has been discarded.

According to the ECB, Crawley is "making significant progress in his recovery" from a fractured right finger after being drafted in.

England captain Ben Stokes remains on course to take the reins back from Ollie Pope following a hamstring tear that kept him out of action against Sri Lanka.

Left-arm fast bowler Josh Hull has been retained while Jack Leach and Rehan Ahmed two spinners who featured in England's historic 3-0 series whitewash over Pakistan in 2022 are recalled.

Leach was displaced as England's number one spinner at the start of the summer by Shoaib Bashir but the Somerset pair, plus Leicestershire's Ahmed, form Stokes' trio of frontline slow bowling options.

But there is no room for Lancashire slow left-armer Tom Hartley, England's leading wicket-taker in their Test tour of India last winter.

Chris Woakes, who has not played an overseas Test since March 2022, and fellow seamer Olly Stone retain their squad berths.
