7. Bower’s Tower

Bowers Tower is a popular tourist spot for people now; you can have picnics here or take on the daunting climb of the 60ft tower to get a breathtaking (literally) view of the city.

14. The Lekan Salami Stadium

Adamasingba Field, another name for Lekan Salami Stadium, is a multi-use field in Ibadan, Nigeria. Shooting Stars FC and other Ibadan-based teams play their home games there. 

It is mainly used for football games these days. The venue can hold up to 18,000 people. The stadium opened in 1977 and was first known as Adamasingba Stadium. 

They changed the name to Lekan Salami Stadium in 1998 to honor Chief Lekan Salami, a Nigerian football manager who started Shooting Stars FC.

Lekan Salami Stadium has been the site of many major sports events, such as the Nigerian Premier League, the Nigeria Cup, and the African Cup of Nations qualifying.

Festivals and performances have also taken place there. An extensive stadium makeover occurred in 2021, adding new seats, a new playing field, and a new drainage system. 

The Oyo State government paid for the makeover as part of its plan to make the stadium better for significant sports events.

The Best Things to Do in Ibadan, Nigeria

Ibadan is the third most populous city in Nigeria after Lagos and Kano, with a population of about three million inhabitants. It is the largest city in Nigeria by geographical size. It is the site of the first television station in Africa, the home of Nigeria’s first university, the University of Ibadan, and Nigeria’s first skyscraper, Cocoa House, which opened in 1965. Attend the oke’badan cultural festival.

The Oke’Badan Cultural Festival is a colorful event celebrated to commemorate the founding of Ibadanland and show gratitude to the founders. The festival, which means the ‘Hills of Ibadan’, celebrates how founders, led by Lagelu, originally settled on the hills of Ibadan and later came down to found the Ibadan town itself at the foot of the hills. The festival, which brings together the sons and daughters of Ibadan from far and near, holds on the third Thursday of March of every year. Highlights of the festival include cultural shows, stage plays, beauty pageants and competitions.

Ibadan polo tournament

This is an annual event that brings Polo enthusiasts from far and near. The event, organized by Ibadan Polo Club , is held between January and February every year at the polo grounds in Eleyele in Ibadan.

Cocoa House

This emblem of history and political power in southwest Nigeria was built by the Government of Chief Obafemi Awolowo, who was the premier of the defunct Western State of Nigeria. The building was so-called becase it was paid for mainly from the proceeds of cocoa, the major export from Nigeria’s southwest at the time. The building was commissioned for use on August 1965 and was the tallest building in tropical Africa at the time.

Bower Memorial Tower

The Bower Tower was built in the honor of Captain Robert Lister Bower who was appointed by the British Government to administer Ibadan city between 1893 and 1897. The tower is 60 feet high and 11 feet square, with two entrances and a spiral staircase that leads to the top of the tower. It is located on the smmit of Oke-Are, the highest hill in Ibadan, and you can get a great view of Ibadan City from the tower.

Visit the University of Ibadan Zoological Gardens

The University of Ibadan Zoological Gardens was first established in 1948 as a menagerie to support teaching and research, before it became a fully fledged zoo in 1974. The zoo is home to a wide array of animals comprising mammmals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. The zoo is open seven days a week, all year round from 8 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. Many guided tours take place in the zoo, mostly by schools for edcational purposes.

Agodi Gardens

Also known as the Agodi Botanical Gardens, this place is an exquisite flora enclave in the center of Ibadan. The serene and calm garden has a mini zoo, lush gardens with different types of vegetation, and water parks. It also has facilities such as swimming pool and play areas for children and spaces for picnics. The garden is open to visitors throughout the week.

Commissioned during the colonial era in 1929, Mapo Hall was built as the main town hall for Ibadan. The hall is situated on Mapo Hill and it is renowned for its seven columns, probably depicting the seven hills upon which the ancient city was built. The hall was the venue of the coronation of some Ibadan kings, and is also famous for being the site of political campaigns of late Chief Obafemi Awolowo. Mapo Hall has a mini-museum where visitors can see chains which were used on tax evaders.

Ventura Mall

The Ventura is a place to enjoy many fun activities. It has a children’s game arcade, cinema, food courts and shopping malls. Recreational activities including watching movies, games such as bowling, and shopping can be enjoyed at the mall. It is located at Plot 5/6, Old Aerodrome Road, Off Sango-Ojoo Road, Samonda GRA, Ibadan.

You shouldn’t leave Ibadan without eating amala, a popular Yoruba food and the main dish of Ibadan people. You can have amala in places such as Ose Olohun on Bodija Road, Inastraight on Cultural Centre Road in Mokola, and Iya Dunni Food Canteen at Challenge Roundabout Oluyole, Ibadan.

Ibadan Travel Guide

Ibadan (Èbá-Odàn) is the largest city size-wise in both Nigeria and Africa. With more than 3 millions people, Ibadan had been the centre of administration of the old Western Region since the days of the British colonial rule, and parts of the city’s ancient protective walls still stand to this day.

Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State , grew into an impressive and sprawling urban centre so much that by the end of 1829, Ibadan dominated the Yorùbá region militarily, politically and economically. The military sanctuary expanded even further when refugees began arriving in large numbers from northern Oyo following raids by Fulani warriors.

After losing the northern portion of their region to the marauding Fulanis, many Oyo indigenes retreated deeper into the Ibadan environs. The Fulani Caliphate attempted to expand further into the southern region of modern-day Nigeria, but was decisively defeated by the armies of Ibadan in 1840. In 1893 Ibadan started growing into the major trading centre that it is today.

[tab:Attractions] The University of Ibadan The first premier university of Nigeria founded in 1948 and is still waxing stronger in academic excellence. The University was then established as College of the University of London until it was converted into an autonomous university in 1962.

Zoological Garden, University of Ibadan Founded in 1948, the Zoological Garden still remains one of the leading zoological garden in Nigeria. It has a wide variety of wild animals such as gorilla, lions, chimpanzees, crocodiles, baboons, snakes, derby eland, ostriches, emus, white storks, hooded vulture, mona monkeys, drill monkeys, horses, donkeys etc.

The Botanical Garden, University of Ibadan The botanical garden houses various species of plants which are grown to give a serene environment. The garden is used for picnics, retreats, relaxation and research purposes.

Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Ibadan Built in 1959 by late Obafemi Awolowo, this television station used to be known as WNTV before it changed NTA Ibadan. It is the oldest television station in the whole continent of Africa and it serves as a museum in journalism. It is an idea place to learn more about journalism in Nigeria.

The National Museum of Unity, Dugbe This is a museum which have sample of traditional musical instruments used by different tribes in Nigeria on display. Within the vicinity of the museum are a garden and a kitchen restaurant. The car used by the last Premier of Western Region, Late Chief Ladoke Akintola is displayed in the museum.

Cocoa House, Ibadan Built by late Obafemi Awolowo in the 60s, this building is the first skyscraper ever to be built in Africa and it was constructed from the proceeds of cocoa sold for export.

Agodi Gardens, Ibadan This is a lovely park right at the centre of Ibadan city. The park, which spreads over 13 acres of land is a good example of multiple land use for forestry, entertainment and recreation. Its nursery, arboretum, park and Zoo blend into one another to make the garden unique.

Game World, Dugbe, Ibadan Game world is a recreational centre where different indoor games such as snookers, table tennis, play station, dart and others are played. There is also a conference centre, minibar and restaurant.

Old Oyo National Park The park lies in the north-western part of the Oyo State and it is about 160 kilometers from Ibadan. It has an area of about 2,500 square kilometers and harbours a wide variety of wildlife. At its Northern end are the ruins of Old Oyo, the former capital of the famous Oyo Empire which was invaded by the Fulani in 1837. Read more

IITA Forest Thickest of climbers grow in openings where the secondary nature of the forest is most apparent, with clumps of bamboo Bambusa vulgaris etc. The forest is a good place for bird-watching because it has numerous species of tropical birds. The forest reserve, which is a mature lowland rainforest with scattered emergent also has sporting facilities such a 9-hole golf course, football pitch, badminton court, lawn tennis court, table tennis and a swimming pool within the institute. Cultural Centre The cultural center is one of the best places to learn about the cultural heritage of the Yoruba people because the place is full of historical values that are very important in the history of the Yorubas.

Irefin Palace, Ibadan Built over 200 years ago, the palace is one of the surviving palaces in Ibadan that was constructed in the traditional way of using mud and it has about one hundred and eighty five rooms.

Mapo Hall This is an unmissable colonial edifice located right beside Bere Market in Ibadan. The building, which was just recently refurbished is a home to the courts and visitors will be taken aback by the outstanding pillars and the general structure.

Mama Ope This is the home of traditional Nigerian cuisine which include rice and stew, soup and pounded yam, beans and plantain, pepper soup etc. It’s a popular spot amongst the locals and it only serves soft drinks and juices. This post contains a list of the best places to visit in Ibadan.

This is more like a continuation of our articles on top places to check out in Nigeria . I have curated a list of cheap and budget-friendly places worth your time in Lagos and Abuja . 

Like Lagos and Abuja, Ibadan has a lot of intriguing places for you to visit. Ibadan is renowned as the largest city in West Africa. As a big city, Ibadan has a lot of goodness in store for visitors and residents alike. In this guide, I will be highlighting the top places to visit in Ibadan where you can have fun and enjoy a good time.

Let’s begin with;

1. Agodi Gardens

Get prepared for a captivating experience at Agodi gardens. The garden is well known in Ibadan and is a great place to engage in different forms of activities. Visitors would get lost in the moments as they stroll the zoo and spot different wild animals. Aside from the gardens, there are a lot of facilities at this beautiful garden where visitors can partake in games and other recreational activities. Don’t be surprised to find a swimming pool, inflatable boats, and a mini-park. There are also game rides for kids to jump on to and enjoy a great time. Agodi Gardens has open spaces beautified with luxuriant green grass, where visitors can spread a mat and enjoy a picnic.

2. Trans Amusement Park

The Trans amusement park is also known as trans wonderland. This amusement park is one of the best places to hang out In Ibadan. Although this amusement park does not match the standards of Disneyworld, it can be likened to it. Trans wonderland has lots of rides, wheels and facilities that visitors can utilise. This mesmerising place in Ibadan is worth visiting as there are lots of activities for the kids. Lest I forget, there is also an ice cream spot that receives many footfalls. The ice cream here is not only yummy and cooling, the customer service is also top range. For first time visitors in Ibadan, Trans park is one of the best to visit visit in Ibadan.

3. University of Ibadan, Zoological Gardens

No one should be in Ibadan without checking out UI zoo. This zoo is a part of the zoology department and was established in 1948 when the school was built. The zoo serves as a significant component of the school, as it attracts a massive number of tourists monthly. The zoo functions as a conservative of wildlife. It also helps educate and increase animal tourism.

The zoo boasts of tens of well-fed wild animals. You’ll find animals like lions, hogs, alligators, giraffes, ostriches, camels, tortoises, etc. Aside from animals spotting, a picnic can also be held here. The zoo environs consist of luxuriant green grass and a calming atmosphere.

4. Cocoa House

Cocoa House is a skyscraper in Ibadan that is 105 metres tall and has 26 stories. This building was opened in 1965 and owned by Wemabond estates, a subsidiary of odua group companies. This house was built with the returns of western Nigeria commodities, Cocoa, cotton, and rubber. The cocoa house was initially called “Ile agbe”, which translates to “house of farmers’ ‘. This house was formerly renowned as the tallest building in West Africa.

Even though the Cocoa house is now used commercially, tourists can still visit this place. 25 floors at the Cocoa House hold working spaces for top firms in Ibadan. However, the topmost floor is kept as the Odua Museum of hall and fame. Hence, visit this museum in Cocoa House to experience history.

5. Bowers Towers

Everyone knows that Ibadan is a hilly city, but Bowers Towers is distinguished as it is 60ft tall and sits on the highest hill in the city. This hill is Oke Ara hill in Agala town. Taffy Jones designed this tower. It was named after Captain Robert Lister Bowers, the first British Resident and the travel commissioner of Yorubaland 1936. 

At the top of bowers towers, visitors can get a hypnotic view of significant places in Ibadan. There are about 47 spiral stairs that people can climb to get to the top. When at the top, you can take beautiful pictures with major buildings in Ibadan, making a great backdrop. It is also a great picnic destination. With N200, people can access this tower once it’s open. It is usually accessible from 9 am to 5 pm.

6. National Museum, Ibadan

With four galleries, the Museum of National Unity is an educational place to visit. Visitors can learn about the history and culture in panorama from the unity gallery, the masquerade gallery, the pottery gallery, and the Yoruba gallery. Whether you are a resident or this is your first time visiting, don’t skip the National museum.

Remember to go with a good camera phone to capture all the beautiful things you’ll discover from the four galleries present here. The unity gallery holds significant pieces from all over Nigeria. The masquerade gallery contains the attires of different Egungun and mmawu in the southwest and east.

7. Old Oyo National Park

The Old Oyo National park is one intriguing place to visit in Oyo state. Before it became a National park, the Old Oyo was divided into two separate reserves, Upper Ogun and Oyo Ile. However, these places were joined to make the old Oyo game reserve before a National Park in 1952. A visit to Old Oyo national park would immerse you into the history and culture of the western Nigerians. The Ikere gorge dam runs through the park. This national park also boasts of 4 other rivers, including Tessi, Owu, Owe, and Ogun rivers. While the Tessi river flows through the northern part of the forest reserve, Owu, Owe, and Ogun runs can be found in the southern region. 

This National park plays host to various wildlife, so visitors should come prepared. You’ll find animals like Buffalo, bushbuck, duiker, patas monkey, etc. There are also a lot of water species and birds to see, so bring your cameras along for some nice pictures with other earth habitats. So, the old oyo national is amongst the best places to visit in Ibadan.

8. IITA Forest Reserve

Established in 1967, IITA remains the #1 protected urban forest in southwestern Nigeria. IITA stands for International Institute of Tropical Agriculture. The main aim of the IITA forest reserve is to up the sustainability and quality of tropical food and other earth habitats. The forest reserve occupies a vast area of land, and it does well to protect biological habitatss.

IITA forest reserve serves as a place in Ibadan for education and entertainment. A visit here would expose you to hundreds of butterfly species, plant species, bird species. You’ll also spot over 40 species of mammals and 20 reptile species. 

As mentioned earlier, IITA forest reserve Ibadan is not just a place to get educated, you can also have a fun time here. You can engage in bird watching, hiking, playing golf, biking, and fishing. Visitors can camp here, picnic, and so much more. As a plus, IITA is an aesthetically appealing place in Ibadan, so don’t forget to take pictures when you visit.

Six Places To Visit In Ibadan

I had a friend who called Ibadan “The city of brown roofs”. Interesting name to give the capital of Oyo state, isn’t it? However, the next time I drove past the city, I realised what he said was true. Many brown, rusty roofs to be seen. But this city of brown roofs has some spectacular, historical sites to see.

Ibadan is the largest city by land area in Nigeria and is populated mostly by the Yorubas. Founded in 1929 during a time of great strife in the Yoruba Kingdom, Ibadan started out as a war camo for warriors, but soon became an emerging market for traders and goods coming from both the grasslands and the forest.

This ancient city has for long held on to its cultural heritage, and this makes it an interesting place to visit in Nigeria.

Apart from the iconic amala joints, here are six places to visit for the true Ibadan experience:

University Of Ibadan

Established in 1948, University of Ibadan is Nigeria’s Premier and arguably best university. With a population of over 30 000, the university is a small town in its own right, with its own unique culture and ambience. With its rich history, the University of Ibadan has a strong bearing on the Ibadan Experience.

University of Ibadan Zoo

While you’re at the University of Ibadan do make sure to step into the department of zoology, home of the famous University of Ibadan zoo. Established as a menagerie in 1948, it has grown to cater to a wide range of animals from Mammals like giraffes, lions, camels e.t.c to reptiles like crocodiles and snakes. For just a token fee of 200 nairas, you’ll enjoy the various offerings of the zoo.

Agodi gardens boast a variety of recreational activities visitors can engage in. With a restaurant, playground, water park, zoo and a forest walkway. There’s a little bit of something for someone.

Mapo Hall is the colonial style city hall, perched on top of Mapo Hill. It is said to be the first town hall in Oyo. Mapo Hall was commissioned during the colonial era by Captain Ross in 1929.

Where it all began for NTA. Television began broadcasting on 31 October 1959 under the name Western Nigerian Government Broadcasting Corporation (WNTV) It was based in Ibadan and was the first television station in Tropical Africa.

Bower’s Tower is located on the summit of Oke-Are, the highest hill in Ibadan, from which one enjoys a commanding view of the city. Oke-Are (The Army General’s Hill) is the site central to Igbo-Agala (Agala Forest) in Sapati Area. The monument was erected in 1936 as a memorial to Captain Robert Lister Bower, the first British Resident in Ibadan and the Travelling Commissioner for the interior of Yorubaland south-western Nigeria, between 1893 and 1897. It offers a birds-eye view of the City of Ibadan. A great way to end any visit to this great city.

4. Zuma Rock

The rock ranks high as one of the choice tourist attractions in the Country. Zuma Rock , the monolithic Inselberg with a human face, is located in Madalla, Niger State, to the North of Abuja. It was once described as the unquestionable watchman of the F.C.T. It is the sandy concealment that hangs like a haze over Zuba Town. The other mountains in and around it stay a considerable distance from it, which the Zuba people see as a form of respect being paid by the other mountains to Zuma Rock for its royal presence in the locality.

Visiting Zuma Rock between April and October, which marks the rainy season in central Nigeria where the rock is situated, would afford you the opportunity of seeing the much talked Zuma Rock Fire, as the apex of the Zuma Rock catches fire under heavy rainfall. Over time, this has remained one of the wonders of the Zuma Rock.

5. Agbokim Waterfall

Agbokim Waterfalls are a series of seven cascades with a total length of 6817.73m.   It is surrounded by green vegetation which is home to thousands of birds that filter the surroundings with soft chirping. Over the years, it has been regarded as the speckle of beauty in fading nature. The magnificence of the Agbokim Waterfall is more appreciated during the rainy season. It is located at Etung Local Government Area of Cross River State in south-eastern Nigeria, on the Nigeria-Cameroon border. 6. Aso Rock

Aso Rock is a 400-meter rock which stands out as the most noticeable feature in the capital city of Nigeria, Abuja. The location is reputed as one of the lush tourist attractions in Nigeria, as it is a location in the Country's seat of power. Aso Rock houses the three major seats of power of the Nigerian Federal Government namely; Presidential Villa (Aso Rock Villa), National Assembly, and the Supreme Court, albeit the Aso Rock Villa building is the only structure built in the valley of the Rock. 8. Kajuru Castle

Kajuru Castle is a luxury Medieval-German style villa, built over 3 decades ago located in Kaduna State, Nigeria. The villa is designed with bedrooms modeled after dungeons and several towers with crenelated walls. The medieval theme is seen throughout the castle, it even has a  portcullis (the vertically closing gate) with a crocodile pit.

The castle includes a guest tower with  4 rooms and the main building with a knights?  hall and a master suite ( also known as the ?landlord?s residence?). There?s an outdoor swimming pool for cooling off on hot days and a barbeque spot right by the pool.  From the pool area and most of the castle windows, you will enjoy a fascinating view of the surrounding mountains and inselbergs. A magnificent five-story building coated in spotless white, standing high and proud in its environs, Nike Art Gallery  tells its story from the outside. The fence of the compound is adorned with rare marbles. Its walls are covered in different artistic inscriptions and drawings. If you are looking for a quiet and reflective time at the beach, you should visit Eleko Beach on a weekday.  Even though more people troupe into Eleko Beach on weekends, it generally doesn?t get as crowded as the other popular public beaches in Lagos like Elegushi Beach ,  Bar Beach , and Alpha Beach .  Also, the huts at Eleko Beach make you people like you?re having your own private beach experience. This means, in reality, any day of a week is a good day to visit this beach.

Eleko Beach offers a peaceful retreat for privacy seekers or couples looking to enjoy a good time away from the hustle of Lagos. This public beach,  located close to La Campagne Tropicana , offers private beach features bamboo huts. It is also less rowdy than other public beaches in Lagos and considered to be cleaner. It's definitely one of the few tourist attractions to offer such services.

13. Osun Sacred Grove

Classified as one of the UNESCO world heritage sites. This sacred forest attracts a large number of tourists as it is definitely worth visiting and is reputed to rank high in the list of tourist attractions in Nigeria. Situated on the outskirts of Oshogbo, the capital of Osun state along the banks of the Osun river. Osun state is one of the states in the South-western part of Nigeria. Majorly populated by the Yorubas who are indigenes of the state. Yoruba people believe that the Osun Sacred Grove , which spans about 75 hectares of land, is home to Osun? the goddess of fertility. A festival that celebrates this fertility goddess takes place every year in Oshogbo. You will find scattered about the forest, shrines, and effigies of different deities. In addition to that, the forest contains about 400 different species of plants that are used for medicinal purposes.

Then think Fela Shrine a.k.a The New Afrika Shrine . From the genre of music to the inspirational story-telling lyrics. Not forgetting the sacrosanct palm-wine, that will revitalize the African spirit in you.

The New Afrika Shrine , an open-air entertainment center located in Ikeja, Lagos State. It serves as the host location of the annual Felabration music festival. Currently managed by Femi Kuti and Yeni Anikulapo-Kuti. Serves as a  replacement of the old Afrika Shrine created in 1970 by Fela Kuti until it was burnt down in 1977. Bower's tower: A historical monument in Ibadan

Bower's tower can be seen at the summit of Oke Are, the hill at Igbo Agala (Agala forest) in Ibadan.

Oke Are is the highest of the seven hills that surround the ancient town of Ibadan.

The Bower's tower, a historical monument standing 60 feet tall in Oke Are, Ibadan was designed by Taffy Jones , in 1936. Taffy Jones was also the engineer that designed the Mapo Hall, another historical landmark in Ibadan. The Bower's tower was put up to honor Captain Robert Lister Bower who was the first British resident in Ibadan. He was appointed by the British government as the traveling commissioner of Yorubaland, southwestern region of Nigeria, between 1893 and 1897.

The historical tower is 60 feet high and 11 feet square with two entrances and about 47 spiral staircase that leads to the top of the tower from where one can get a 360 panoramic view of the town and appreciate its history. The building was nicknamed ‘Layipo’ because of its long spiral staircase which some claim to make them dizzy after climbing. It served as one of the most visited tourist centers in the city of Ibadan.

According to history, the tower was named after Bower in appreciation of his contribution to the development and growth of Yorubaland. From the top of the tower on a clear day, you can see some important landmarks such as the cocoa house, the University College Hospital (UCH), The University of Ibadan, Dugbe market, Agodi gardens, the defunct Lagos/Ibadan toll gate and lots more depending on how good your eyesight is. This historical monument served as a watchtower during the colonial era from where it was very easy to monitor the activities of the town and the neighboring Yoruba towns.

The Bower's tower is definitely a place to visit in Ibadan. visitors to the tower get to climb the 47 spiral staircase, enjoy a panoramic view of the city, identify major landmarks from the top, take beautiful pictures of the town, and even organize a picnic. The tower opens from 9 AM to 5 PM daily and it requires a fee of 200 naira to enter into the tower. When visiting the tower, it is advised to dress comfortably as it involves a lot of climbing.

For the love they have for the Tower and for allowing one to see the many wonders of the city from its top, the Ibadan natives have attached so much importance to the Tower. Therefore, it is common to hear such things as “Whoever comes to Ibadan and has not visited this Tower” (called Layipo) to view the city does not know Ibadan, "Ibadan lo mo, o mo Layipo" which directly translates to "It is Ibadan you know, you don't know Layipo"

Bower’s Tower: A monument in Ibadan with historical significance

Bower’s Tower, built atop Oke-Are, the highest of Ibadan’s seven hills, has been in operation since 1936. It overlooks the city as its geographical center and was named after Captain Robert Lister Bower, the Travel Commissioner of the Interior Yoruba region. 

Captain Bower was the first British resident in Nigeria appointed by Queen Elizabeth in 1893 with the responsibility of ending the hostilities between the various Yoruba kingdoms. He carried on this task between 1893 – 1897.

The Bower’s Tower was designed by Taffy Jones, the same engineer that designed Mapo Hall . The historical tower is 60 feet tall and 11 feet square, with two entrances and around 47 spiral stairs leading to the tower’s summit, from where visitors may enjoy a 360-degree view of Ibadan.

The breathtaking view from the top of the tower allows visitors to see several significant landmarks, including the University College Hospital (UCH), University of Ibadan Clock tower, Cocoa House , Dugbe Market, Agodi Gardens, Mapo Hall and Lekan Salami Sports Complex . The city’s characteristic boundless spread of brown roofs is on the other side.

Serving as one of the most popular tourist centers in the city of Ibadan, the terracotta-colored concrete walls are still in good condition, with a tour guide available on demand to take visitors on a historical journey.
