Taylor Swift’s 12 Best Outfits from the 1989 World Tour
Decked out head-to-toe in all-black and all-sequin everything by Kaufman Franco (including matching microphone), Taylor even managed to look good with a golf club in Kanata in Ontario, Canada.
One of our all-time favorite looks from the tour so far, nothing says pop princess more than this bejeweled all-in-one number, paired with a trademark red lip.
Sporting another sparkling outfit in a shiny green jacket and purple skirt, it’s no wonder she needed sunglasses. The varsity detail on the jacket gives it a nice too-cool-for-school edge.
Swift shook it off in this green flapper-inspired, tasseled crop top and skirt that she wore during a performance in Montreal.
Swift looked fierce in a sharp long-line blazer with sequin detailing and black sparkly booties in Montreal.
Throughout her shows Swift has flaunted her long legs in an array of shiny skirts and jewel-encrusted crop tops, as pictured here in Dublin, Ireland.
Swift’s overall fun vibe on the tour has extended to her fashion choices. Not one to shy away from bold colors, she is pictured here performing in Philadelphia in a rainbow-colored sequin jacket.
Swift quite literally lit up the stage in Las Vegas, where she looked flirty and feminine in this summery pink skirt and matching top complete with L.E.D. lights and silver strappy heels.
Swift revealed her sultry side in this sexy, black, glittery outfit, pictured during a concert in Las Vegas.
In Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Swift made the stage her personal catwalk in black thigh-high boots and suspenders.
Singer or supermodel? Swift showcased her incredible figure in another all-black, killer combo.
In yet another crop top and skirt, it shows that as far as Swift is concerned, this combination will never go out of style.
Every outfit Taylor Swift wore on the 1989 World Tour, ranked
- Taylor Swift will release "1989 (Taylor's Version)" on Friday.
- To mark the occasion, we ranked every outfit she wore during the 1989 World Tour in 2015.
- Her silver bodysuit, featuring sequined tassels and a plunging neckline, took the top spot.
21. The multi-colored two-piece set
Respectfully, what is this? I was a Swiftie in 2015 and I have no memory of her wearing this confusing pattern onstage. In all senses, it's a miss.
20. The ballerina look
Swift layered a tulle skirt over her sequined bodysuit when she performed a mash-up of "Enchanted" and "Wildest Dreams" (also when John Legend arrived as a special guest to sing "All of Me" in Los Angeles).
I understand Swift's attempt to match the romantic mood, but the skirt was too yellowish to have true elegance.
19. The "Shake It Off" dress
Swift occasionally wore this fringed outfit in hot pink and dark blue — a precursor to the green, pink, orange, and blue sequined sets that she wears during the "1989" segment on The Eras Tour .
The original version is cute, and clearly Swift likes it enough to recreate it eight years later. But funnily enough, this look doesn't scream "1989" like the skater skirts and bomber jackets. It's just not memorable.
18. The "Out of the Woods" catsuit
Swift covered in head-to-toe sequins has a nice effect, especially from a faraway vantage point. But the flesh-colored mesh on her chest makes the jumpsuit look cheaper than it is.
I much prefer the black version that Swift wore at the 2016 Grammys.
17. The black two-piece set
This look is fine. It's a concert classic. But in retrospect, it does feel a little simple — dare I say basic?
16. The black skirt
This is a small step up from the black shorts, but the pleather skirt is a millennial fashion trend I wish to forget.
15. The black two-piece set with a silver trim
This Las Vegas version is the best of Swift's black two-piece sets, but the silver studs look very outdated today. You could've found a knockoff at any Forever 21 in 2015.
14. The purple skirt
Purple metallic is a fun touch, but as the designated "Speak Now" color , but it's not giving "1989" like its blue counterparts.
13. The royal blue skirt
Today, this shade of blue is more associated with Swift's 10th album "Midnights," but at the time, it fit perfectly in the "1989" era. The color is rich and really pops onstage.
12. The purple jacket
The sequined bomber jacket is another "1989" tour staple. When Swift arrived onstage with her sleeves rolled up and sunglasses on, you knew it was time to search for a sound we hadn't heard before.
11. The silver jacket
The silver jacket gives a stronger '80s vibe than purple, calling to mind MTV's golden era of music videos.
10. The light blue skirt
This look is quintessential "1989." The bright, metallic blue evokes the sleek, glittering hues of a cityscape — perfect for the show's opening number, "Welcome to New York."
9. The blue jacket
Again, the light blue bomber is quintessential "1989." As Vanity Fair wrote at the time, "The varsity detail on the jacket gives it a nice too-cool-for-school edge."
8. The rainbow jacket
Out of all the jackets, this is the best option by far. The blue-purple-pink blend has become a key ingredient in Swift's iconography, from her performance of "Dress" during the "Reputation" tour to her dyed hair in the "You Need to Calm Down" music video.
7. The blue bodysuit
Swift called back to this midnight-blue bodysuit with beaded fringe during her fifth Los Angeles stop on The Eras Tour .
It wasn't in her regular rotation during the "1989" era, which gives it an exciting, limited-edition quality.
6. The silver fringe
The silver bodysuit with beaded fringe is exactly what a flapper would wear if she traveled through time to sing "Shake It Off."
5. The "How You Get the Girl" outfit
Of all the shiny "1989" looks, this is certainly the most unique — not least because it literally lights up. Swift's pink top and matching skirt were striped with LED lights (as were her 12 backup dancers and their umbrella props).
Electronic engineer Dave Sheinkopf told InStyle that Swift's outfit was programmed like a Times Square billboard screen. Her lighting crew was tasked with syncing "35,000 moving parts" to achieve the intended effect.
"It's the first time that's been done with 13 people at once," he said at the time, calling it "the most complicated wearable lighting system for a stage show."
4. The leather catsuit
I'm partial to this look because it's the one I associate with Mick Jagger as a surprise guest (iconic) and Swift's rock version of "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" (even more iconic).
3. The "Blank Space" blazer
I love the blazers that Swift slips on to perform "The Man" on The Eras Tour, but the original blazer reigns supreme. It gives Swift the oomph of a woman in charge — the ideal outfit to wear while singing, "Boys only want love if it's torture."
2. The "I Know Places" look
This is one of Swift's best-known looks from the "1989" era — and for good reason. This outfit radiates pop-star energy, from the sequin trim of her tube top down to the heels of her thigh-high boots.
1. The "Style" bodysuit
This silver look takes the cake. It's theatrical and stage-ready — kinda like something Christina Aguilera would wear in "Burlesque" — without being over-the-top and hammy. Marie Claire also likened the plunging neckline to Marilyn Monroe's iconic dress in "The Seven Year Itch."
Put simply, it's an outfit made for a star.

It's no secret that Taylor Swift has style. The superstar's1989 World Tour kicked off in Tokyo earlier this week, and she worked a series of incredible ensembles as she belted out her hits onstage.
Unsurprisingly, the singer's flirty outfits feature lots of leg, metallic shades, glitter, and plenty of fringe--which she appropriately dons for her "Shake It Off" dance number that closes the show. One thing's certain: her onstage sartorial prowess is as on-point as her street style.
Take a look at more of her dazzling performance looks below:

See Taylor Swift's 1989 Super-Sexy Tour Costumes Right Here
Taylor Swift kicked off her 1989 tour in Tokyo yesterday, and from the get-go, it was obvious that her edgier, maybe-due-to-Calvin-Harris style wasn't taking a backseat to the tailored shorts and flat sneaks she wore on the Red tour last year.
To open things up, she picked a sparkly skater mini and a bra top with side cutouts (her glitter-covered boots are by Stuart Weitzman ). This fan group counted eleven different outfit switches, and while there were some more classically demure Taylor, others had the bombshell level cranked way up.

For one, she wore a sparkly catsuit similar to the one BFF Karlie Kloss showed off on the Victoria's Secret runway.

Her other sparkly pick was a short romper, worn with wings.

She paired thigh-high heeled boots with high-waisted shorts, connected by garterlike straps.

And from neck to toe, this all-leather look had a sexy dominatrix vibe that was hard to deny (especially paired with that cage-like contraption).

All of Taylor Swift's Best 1989 Tour Outfits So Far
Taylor Swift is our ultimate girl crush. When she's not writing catchy chart-topping tracks, she's dating some of the cutest boys in Hollywood (and London), providing us with serious #squadgoals thanks to her BFF-filled Instagrams, and, of course, acting as a constant source of major fashion inspiration.
And yes, that extends to every outfit she's worn during her 1989 World Tour—during the three shows that have happened so far, at least. From sparkly bandeau tops to a jacket that can only be described as 'disco ball-esque,' Taylor has really kicked it up a notch with her on-stage ensembles. Say goodbye to her signature pastel prints and ladylike cocktail dresses—her latest tour look is far more "Bad Blood" than "Blank Space."
Here are Teen Vogue's favorite picks so far...
What's not to love about a sparkly wrap-around tank top paired with matching high-waisted shorts? Absolutely nothing.
She's got that good girl faith and a tight little skirt...
An all-over sequined black onesie? We need this in our party outfit arsenal, ASAP.
The only thing better than a dazzling silver bomber jacket? One that incorporates every color of the rainbow, of course.
But the piece de resistance is this bedazzled body suit, which is giving us serious Brittney circa her "Toxic" music video flashbacks. Not that we're complaining—Tay is positively Shutting. It. Down. in this outfit.
For a real stage style statement, Taylor matched said sparkly bandeau top with a glittering royal blue skater skirt and an eye-catching jacket that redefines what it means to be 'disco ball chic.' Yes, it's a thing.
In Detroit, Tay channeled her inner 1920s flapper clad in a show-stopping halter jumpsuit complete with fringe.
This ensemble is more risqué than Taylor's usual look. Behold: tiny white shorts, a matching strapless tank and thigh-high black boots. But her best accessory? Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons.

Taylor Swift ‘1989’ World Tour: Set list, costumes, the stage, the spectacle
Warning: If you’re one of the Taylor Swift fans planning to see a concert on her highly-hyped “1989” world tour this year and don’t want spoilers, look away.
But if you’re curious about how one of the savviest pop stars of our time puts on a massive concert (expected to gross about $200 million ) here are some scenes from the first tour stop. It kicked off at the Tokyo Dome in Japan on Tuesday in front of a 55,000-plus sold out crowd; immediately, details started pouring out on social media.

* The set list:
While Swift’s set list generally stays the same throughout a tour, she’s always one for surprises: As she’s acknowledged, most of her diehard fans — the ones that ensure she’s the only artist who can still sell a million copies of an album these days — have watched the entire concert on YouTube months before they arrive at the venue.
“Everything we’ve ever done, every decision I’ve made on my last tours, I wanted to flip it and do the opposite for this one,” Swift recently told “Access Hollywood.” “You have to switch it up, cause people get bored — more easily in 2015 than ever before.”
[ What a single tweet from Taylor Swift does to your music sales ]
Judging from the lists that have cropped up on Twitter, Swift plays nearly the entire “1989” album during the two-hour concert. Her Nashville roots are long gone, as are the majority of famous hits from her first albums. Though she does go back in time for “Love Story” (the third-highest selling digital country song of all time); “Enchanted” and “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”
For the record, Swift’s show in Tokyo started at around 6:30 p.m. in Japan, translating to 5:30 a.m. Eastern: But fans were eagerly waking up at all hours to find the details:

* The stage:
Swift will play many stadiums and arenas on the tour (which arrives in America on May 20 in Bossier City, La.), so expect it to look something like this:
* Costume changes
Swift promised the fashion would be epic this time around.

* The opening number:
Looks like Swift, a New York City ambassador , appropriately kicks off with her “Welcome to New York” anthem:

* The Katy Perry song:
Otherwise known as “Bad Blood,” the ultimate burn, and upcoming single.

* The Harry Styles song:
“Style,” naturally, also known as her current single.
* The show closer:
“Shake It Off,” of course.
[ Is Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake It Off’ video offensive? That’s what people say, mmm mmm. ]
* The after-party:
Similarly to the “T-Party” and “Club Red,” Swift’s team invites the hardcore fans to a meet and greet after the show. Looks like this one is called “Loft 89,” according to @TSwiftOnTour , a fan account that tweets details from every concert.

Here are all the outfits Taylor Swift has worn so far during The Eras Tour show – all of her looks are utterly bejewelled...
Listen to this article
Every single time Taylor Swift takes to the stage for The Eras Tour ... we're rendered speechless and that's not just because of her i ncredible set list .
From the lighting to the stage design to the theatrics, the pop powerhouse has truly outdone herself with one of the most hyper-detailed stadium spectacles audiences have ever seen and it's been so popular, Taylor's even released a movie on it.
But one aspect of the tour that fans simply can't get over is the sheer amount of costume changes Taylor undergoes to put on the jaw-dropping show – and the new looks just keep on coming, especially after she incorporated ' The Tortured Poets Department ' into the set list , introducing a brand new white gown and tailored jacket.

The 'Midnights' songstress channels every one of her eras with her incredibly meta wardrobe, she has a whopping 16 outfit changes that draw inspiration from the past 17 years of her career.
Who designs Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour outfits?
Taylor has been bringing out the big guns for her global tour. Notable designers include Fausto Puglisi who heads up Italian fashion house Roberto Cavalli. Fausto describes himself as a Sicilian maverick. He designed 12 of the looks from Taylor’s Eras shows, including the skintight snake catsuit from the Reputation era, and the gold-fringed minidress from her Fearless era.

And Taylor isn’t the only superstar he has dressed – J-Lo and Zendaya have also had the honour. He also designed the cape that Madonna wore on her Madame X album.
Another designer that has been tapped by Taylor for her stage costumes is Donatella Versace. The legendary designer was the mastermind behind Taylor’s bejewelled bodysuits that feature in the Lover section of her shows.
And rounding off the Lover looks are a pair of custom-made, jewel-encrusted, knee-high boots from none other than Christian Louboutin. With their signature red soles, Louboutins are the footwear of choice for the rich, famous and impeccably dressed.

Italian dressmaker Alberta Ferretti also has a starring role on the Eras Tour. Her ethereal and dreamy gowns complements the Folklore section of Taylor’s shows completely.
Taylor has also selected a number of lesser-known names to wear alongside fashion powerhouses like Oscar de la Renta and Ellie Saab. Indie designer Anish Gupta created the sequin slogan T-shirts emblazoned with her iconic lyrics “WE ARE NEVER EVER GETTING BACK TOGETHER, LIKE EVER”
And with that impressive list of designers, we couldn't resist the urge to round up all the Eras Tour stage ensembles she's worn so far, check out all the Taylor tour looks (as well as her newest additions)...
Taylor Swift opens with the Lover era
Taylor starts the beginning of every show looking drop-dead gorgeous in a custom Versace sequined bodysuit and sparkly Louboutin heels, setting the bar high for the rest of the concert's wardrobe!
She later accessories the look halfway through the 'Lover' set when she sports a bedazzled blazer over the top of the opening ensemble – wow!
- 'Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince'
- 'Cruel Summer'
- 'The Man'
- 'You Need to Calm Down'
- 'Lover'
- 'The Archer'
Taylor's Fearless setlist made everyone nostalgic
Next on the setlist is Taylor's 'Fearless' era, and she channelled her second studio album by stepping out in a re-imagination of her iconic glittered fringed dress.
She sings three tracks from 'Fearless (Taylor's Version)' all whilst twirling around with her rhinestones guitar, it's like its 2008 all over again!
- 'Fearless'

Taylor's iconic 'Red' looks are back on the stage
The next section of the tour sees Taylor don three looks that call back to her 'Red' album with looks we've seen before!
She kicks off this era with '22' and even sports one of her outfits from the music video, and of course, she just had to close the set with 'All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor's Version)' – she sure knows how to treat us!

- 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together'
- 'I Knew You Were Trouble'
- 'All Too Well (10 Minute Version)'
Taylor brought back the drama of her Reputation tour
The 34-year-old pop star called back to her Reputation World Tour with the fiery look she donned during the next segment of the concert.
She brought all the drama as she performed in a snake-embellished one-legged bodysuit from Roberto Cavalli.
Taylor delivered four unforgettable 'Reputation' tracks, even bringing out dancers wearing a host of her most iconic looks during her 'Look What You Made Me Do' performance.
- '…Ready for It?'
- 'Delicate'
- 'Don’t Blame Me'
- 'Look What You Made Me Do'
Taylor's 'Evermore' and 'Folklore' dresses are a boho dream
Taylor brought the 'evermore' record alive when she donned a whimsical burnt yellow dress that seemed like it leapt straight from the stories of her folky album.
She even brought along a moss-covered piano to complete the 'evermore' aesthetic when singing 'Champagne Problems', she now treats fans to performances of eight 'evermore' and 'folklore' tracks.
- 'cardigan'
- 'betty'
- 'champagne problems'
- 'august'
- 'illicit affairs'
- 'my tears ricochet'
- 'marjorie'
- 'willow'
Taylor looks ethereal in her Folklore looks
Taylor opts for a floaty floor length dress as she sings her 'Folklore' songs!
Each night she rocks a Kate Bush-esque billowy gown to sing some of her most poetic tracks, giving fans an IRL rendition of this album for the first time – all whilst looking like an ethereal goddess.
Taylor brings the 'Speak Now' fairytale vibes to The Eras Tour
It may have been short but sweet but Taylor made quite the impact with the one song she chose to sing from the 'Speak Now' record.
Her fairytale-esque dresses are back for The Eras Tour as she belts out fan-favourite track 'Enchanted' whilst wearing a sequinned ball gown fit for a princess!
The gowns are strikingly similar to the Valentino one she wore during the 'Speak Now' tour back in 2012.
Taylor is the 1989 pop princess all over again
Swift gave us another blast from the past with 1989 World Tour references whilst she sang the likes of 'Style', 'Shake It Off' and 'Bad Blood'.
She did so whilst wearing a bejewelled two-piece co-ord that just oozes her 2014 era, and the look comes in hot pink and emerald!
- 'Style'
- 'Blank Space'
- 'Shake It Off'
- 'Wildest Dreams'
- 'Bad Blood'
Taylor stuns in romantic gowns for her acoustic set
Taylor dials down the drama during her acoustic set that becomes the penultimate section of the show.
Each night she surprises fans with a stripped-back set of two songs every night that haven't before been in the setlist.
On opening night she sang 'Tim McGraw' and 'Mirrorball', read this article to get the full list of every surprise song she's performed so far.
Taylor brings The Tortured Poets Department alive with new songs and new outfits
Taylor treats fans to seven songs from 'TTPD', giving fans what they wanted from her surprise 2024 album with a hefty set, a big performance and new outfits.
- But Daddy I Love Him
- So High School (shortened)
- Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?
- The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived
- I Can Do It With A Broken Heart
Taylor's Midnights outfits end the show with a bang
Taylor ends her show with her tenth studio album!
She knew how to finish off the event when she brought a seven-track set of 'Midnights' material to the stage and sported four iconic looks in the process.
From a lavender fur coat to a jet-black glittering bodysuit, Taylor pulled out all the stops for her closing era. What. A. Wardrobe!
- 'Lavender Haze'
- 'Anti-Hero'
- 'Midnight Rain'
- 'Vigilante Shit'
- 'Bejeweled'
- 'Mastermind'
- 'Karma'
How many outfits does Taylor Swift have for the Eras Tour?
So with a list of designers that rivals the pages of Vogue magazine, Taylor certainly has an enviable wardrobe to choose from when she’s mulling over her stage outfits. So far on the Eras tour she has worn more than 40 different outfits, with roughly 16 outfit changes a night.

Taylor Swift Just Debuted New 1989 Outfits—See the Pics
It's a new era. The European leg of the much-lauded Eras Tour officially kicked off in Paris tonight, and Taylor Swift had plenty of newness up her sleeve. For starters, she added a section for her newest album, The Tortured Poets Department , during which she debuted a new all-white outfit. She began that part of the performance wearing a marching band coat complete with epaulets. She then shed that layer and revealed a white dress custom-made by Vivienne Westwood emblazoned with the lyrics, "I love you, it's ruining my life." The dress is made of recycled taffeta, and she completed the look with custom Christian Louboutin lace-up ankle boots.
During the Paris show, Swift also debuted a new fringe dress and black boots for the Fearless era, new tops and skirts for 1989 , and a new Midnights bodysuit by Zuhair Murad Couture. Phew! How does she continue to top herself every single concert? Scroll down to see the photos.
Taylor Swift's New 1989 Outfits

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29 , where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
Well done, M&S.

Taylor Swift Wore An Eras Tour Outfit With A Sweet Meaning In Sweden
No one loves an Easter egg more than she does.
When Taylor Swift first brought her Eras Tour to Europe in early May, her fans spotted numerous changes to the show . Chief among them was the much-anticipated addition of songs from her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department , but there were other surprises, too, from her surprise reordering of the set list to her glitzy new outfits. And, of course, the queen of Easter eggs found new ways to convey messages to Swifties.
Taylor’s Most Fitting ’Fit
Swift’s European Eras debut came in Paris on May 9. Over her four concerts there, she performed her 1989 set in a glittery crop top and skirt set, changing the color of the ombré pieces each night. She kept it up when she performed the first of three shows in Stockholm, Sweden, on May 17. Except, this time, she wore her most fitting color combination yet.
It was yellow and blue for Swift on Night 1 in Sweden. The bright colors matched the country’s flag and seemed like an extra way to show love to her Swedish fans. Naturally, her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. “Taylor said she’s in her ‘Swedish Era’ tonight,” one happy fan tweeted .
Taylor’s Many Color Combos
Swift had four other versions of the same custom-designed Roberto Cavalli outfit in Paris. First it was pink and blue on Night 1, and then orange and purple on Night 2. Next, she moved to green and pink on Night 3, and then finally to yellow and red for her final show in the City of Love. Not surprisingly, her yellow and red variation made Swifties think of her guy on the Chiefs, Travis Kelce , especially since she wore it on a night when he was in the audience cheering her on.
Every night, Swift has worn the outfit with mismatched shoes. The high-heeled ankle boots are Christian Louboutin, and they always color-coordinate with the rest of her ensemble. Swift hasn’t revealed where she got her inspiration for the look, but it’s a Carrie Bradshaw-approved move .
The Ongoing Easter Egg Hunt
The Eras Tour is continuing its journey across Europe through August, and then Swift will have a break until October, when she picks back up in the United States and Canada. It’s a mammoth run, but don’t expect Swift to let it get boring. She’s bound to keep surprising us with new Easter eggs along the way.

Taylor Swift Brought Out a New Look for the ‘1989’ Section of ‘The Eras Tour’
Taylor Swift is back on tour, ushering in a sea of Swifties analyzing everything, down to the colors of her outfits and what all of the changes mean for each section of the tour. Now we get to do that again during the European leg of the tour.
One of the biggest reveals of her Paris concert is that Swift has a new outfit for the 1989 part of her concert. The new look is a sparkly crop top with a sparkly skirt and matching sparkly Christian Louboutin boots. Previously the outfit was a Roberto Cavalli matching fringe bra and mini skirt. The new 1989 outfit brings us right back into that era of Swift’s life, as fans will remember she would wear those skirts often back in 2014.
The details of the outfit are fun: The top is an ombré pink, the skirt is an ombré turquoise color, and the shoes are mismatched, with one being the pink coloring and the other being the turquoise color. A user on X (formerly known as Twitter), joked “With all these changes, Taylor should rename it the Eras Tour (Europe’s Version) ” and they’re not wrong. She did open the Europe tour and say “time for change” in the eyes of fans.
With the new outfit came a change to the setlist as well. Swift, who recently released The Tortured Poets Department , added songs from the album to the tour. “But Daddy I Love Him,” “So High School,” “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?,” “Down Bad,” “Fortnight,” “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived,” and “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” were all added to the set. And that means that other songs were cut.
But back to this new 1989 outfit
Many fans online pointed out that the change in the 1989 outfit does feel like the original tour looks that Swift was wearing at the time. During The 1989 Tour , Swift had a lot of cropped sparkly tops and sparkly skirts as part of her wardrobe!
@jessicagolich Omg I’m obsessed with the new 1989 fit!! ?? #new1989outfiterastourparis #erastourparisnight1 #erastourfrance #parisnight1 #pariststheerastour #swifties ♬ original sound – JessicaGolich
While her previous fringe top is also a staple of Swift’s wardrobe, this is a much more fitting look for that era of her concerts. Plus it is now another outfit I justwant to add to my wardrobe too!
How to Recreate Taylor Swift’s Outfits From The Eras Tour
The Eras Tour has finally arrived!! After a *long wait (seriously, it felt like forever), Taylor Swift kicked off the U.S. leg of The Eras Tour in Glendale, Arizona on Friday, March 17 and it was just as epic as we hoped.
The 52-show tour will include performances from Haim, Phoeber Bridgers, Paramore, GAYLE, MUNA, Gracie Abrams, girl in red, and beabadoobee (depending on which show you attend).
Of course, the outfits are nothing less than stunning. Many of them paid homage to the outfits she wore during the original tours with an updated, modern twist.
From what we know so far, all of the looks were custom-designed for Taylor by brands like Roberto Cavalli, Versace, and Alberta Ferretti.
It looks like she also has multiple outfits for each section so expect to see her mixing it up throughout the tour.
Huge shoutout to the blog Taylor Swift Style founder Sarah Kucharski, who somehow managed to find all the info for these looks *and* find it at lightning speed ( she also recently announced a book deal so mark your calendars!).

‘Fearless’ Section: ‘Fearless’, ‘You Belong to Me’, ‘Love Story’

It’s giving us major flashbacks to the ombre gold fringe dress she wore during her original Speak Now tour. (You can get get a similar affordable dress here or a high-end version below.)
For the second night of The Eras tour, Taylor Swift mixed it up with a custom Roberto Cavalli Gold Sequin Fringe-Trim Midi Dress for her Fearless set. Get a similar look here or below.
‘Evermore’ Section: ‘Tis the Damn Season’, ‘Willow’, ‘Marjorie’, ‘Champagne Problems’, ‘Tolerate It’
For her evermore set, Taylor Swift wore a custom Etro Orange Ruffle Maxi Dress and a dark green velvet cape — the latter of which she took off after performing “Willow.” You can recreate the look with this Amazon Dress here or below.
‘Reputation’ Section: ‘…Ready For It?’, ‘Delicate’, ‘Don’t Blame Me’, ‘Look What You Made Me Do’
Taylor Swift wore a custom Roberto Cavalli Black Snake Embellished One Sleeve One Leg Jumpsuit for her Reputation set. This one is near impossible to replicate but you can get a black one-legged jumpsuit below.
Performing ‘Enchanted’
While performing “Enchanted”, Taylor Swift wore a stunning custom Nicole + Felicia Couture Sequin Ballgown. This is another that’s hard to replicate but the below gown has a similar aesthetic.
Performing ’22’
Taylor Swift updated her iconic t-shirt from the “22” music video with this “Who’s Taylor Swift Anyway? Ew.” T-shirt. You can get a replica of the t-shirt here or below.
She also rocked a version of the t-shirt that said, “A Lot Going On At the Moment,” which you can get here .
‘Red’ Section: ‘You Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ and ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’
For the rest of the Red set, she rocked a black and red ombre sequin bodysuit. Yet another outfit that’s so unique it’s difficult to recreate! But we’re loving this Nasty Gal mini dress as a substitute.
Performing ‘All Too Well (10 Minute Version)’
She later added a red and black sequin ombre coat to perform “ All Too Well (10 Minute Version) “. This sequin midi coat is the perfect alternative.
‘Folklore’ Section: ‘Invisible String’, ‘Betty’, ‘The Last Great American Dynasty’, ‘August’, ‘Illicit Affairs’, ‘My Tears Ricochet’, ‘Cardigan’

On night two, Taylor Swift switched it up with a custom Alberta Ferretti Off-White Ruffle Tiered Flowing Maxi Dress (get a similar look with this Free People Maxi Dress below).
‘1989’ Section: ‘Style’, ‘Blank Space’, ‘Shake It Off’, ‘Wildest Dreams’, ‘Bad Blood’
On the first night of her tour, Taylor Swift wore a custom Roberto Cavalli Pink Fringe Two-Piece Set With a Crop Top and Mini Skirt during her 1989 set. This was 100% a throwback to her original 1989 era, when she wore a ton of matching crop top and mini skirt sets, especially while on tour.
It’s obviously impossible to duplicate this look but this Nasty Gal Pink Sequin Fringe Crop Top and matching Pink Sequin Mini Skirt will have to do the trick.
For the second night, Taylor Swift traded in her pink two-piece set for the same set in green, also designed by Roberto Cavalli. We found a pretty cute set by Nasty Gal to help you recreate the look.
Performing ‘Tim McGraw’ and ‘Mirrorball’
On the first night of the tour, Taylor Swift wore a magenta ruffle tiered gown to perform acoustic versions of “Mirrorball” and “Tim McGraw.” We’re loving this Mac Duggal Gown as a dupe for Taylor’s dress.
Performing ‘State of Grace’ and ‘Mirrorball’ (Version 2)
For night two, Taylor Swift opted for a green ruffle tiered gown instead and switched out “Tim McGraw” for “State of Grace.” This green ruffled dress is a great way to recreate the look.
Performing ‘Lavender Haze’
While performing “ Lavender Haze “, Taylor Swift wore a custom Oscar de la Renta Purple Fur Coat, which she later removed for the rest of the Midnights section. Get the look with this LaMarque Purple Fur Coat .
Performing ‘Anti-Hero’
After taking off the coat, Taylor Swift rocked a custom Oscar de la Renta Silver Sequin T-Shirt Dress with Christian Louboutin Sequin Tall Boots to perform “Anti-Hero”. Recreate the look with this Betsey Johnson Silver Sequin T-Shirt Dress and these Ellie Shoes Black Sequin Tall Boots .

Taylor Swift Wears 5 Blue Outfits Inspired by Her Album '1989' During Final Los Angeles Show on Eras Tour
The 12-time Grammy winner also announced her re-recorded album ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version),' out Oct. 27

Taylor Swift is ready to throw it back to 1989 – and she’s doing it in style!
On Wednesday, the Grammy winner, 33, performed her sixth Los Angeles Eras Tour show at SoFi Stadium, where she announced her re-recorded album 1989 (Taylor’s Version) . The record will be released on Oct. 27 , nearly a decade after the original came out in 2014.
During the concert — her last in the U.S. until she returns in 2024 after the international leg of her tour — the Miss Americana star went out with a bang by debuting five blue outfits inspired by the colorways of 1989 , which houses hits like “Welcome to New York,” “Style,” and “Shake It Off.”
“Here we are on the last night of the U.S. leg of the Eras tour in the eighth month of the year on the ninth day. You might have noticed there are some new outfits in the show,” she said in a speech before officially unveiling the cover art and release date for 1989 (Taylor's Version) .
Read ahead for all the details on the newest additions to Swift’s tour wardrobe.
Shaking It Off in Fringe for Her 1989 Set
During her 1989 set, Swift danced in a cobalt blue bandeau top with spaghetti straps and a matching mini skirt. Both pieces were decked out in beaded fringe and metallic diamond-shaped paneling. She completed the get-up with glittery block heel ankle boots.
An Enchanting Blue Gown for Her Speak Now Set
Swift took the stage in a romantic custom Nicole + Felicia ballgown that looked like it could've been pulled right out out of a fairytale.
The icy blue confection featured intricate rays of silver, turquoise and navy sequins and beads going down the criss-cross neckline, bodice and voluminous skirt, which was also speckled with delicate three-dimensional floral appliqués.
The original gold version featured "over 200,000 sequins and crystals," as noted by the couture label on Instagram.
Blue Bohemian Vibes for Her Folklore Set
Swift debuted an ethereal Alberta Ferretti sky blue gown complete with gossamer cape sleeves that were decorated with a lace pattern and small rhinestones.

Bejeweled for Her Midnights set
During her last two nights in Los Angeles, Swift wore a custom Zuhair Murad Couture midnight blue beaded bodysuit with cut-out detailing on the bodice and reflective fringe.
She rounded out the ensemble with a Zuhair Murad Couture beaded garter over her fishnet stockings and knee-high boots with rhinestones.
The Eras Tour will pick back up in Mexico City beginning on Aug. 23.

Taylor Swift reveals titles of new vault tracks that will feature on her 1989 re-release
These titles will never go out of style.
Emlyn Travis is a news writer at Entertainment Weekly with over five years of experience covering the latest in entertainment. A proud Kingston University alum, Emlyn has written about music, fandom, film, television, and awards for multiple outlets including MTV News, Teen Vogue , Bustle, BuzzFeed, Paper Magazine , Dazed, and NME. She joined EW in August 2022.
Less than a day after sending her fanbase on a scavenger hunt across Google, Taylor Swift is filling in some of the blank spaces on the tracklist of her next re-recorded album, 1989 (Taylor's Version) .
The Grammy-winning pop star, in collaboration with the search engine platform, challenged her fanbase to crack 89 different puzzles pertaining to the album a whopping 33 million times in order to unveil the titles of several never-before-heard "vault" songs that will feature on the upcoming re-release. And, well, Swifties hit that goal in less than 24 hours.
After completing the challenge, Google unveiled a follow-up video that featured Swift congratulating all of the super sleuths on their achievement and revealing four track titles: "Is It Over Now?," "Now That We Don't Talk," "Say Don't Go," and "Suburban Legends."
"Oh look! You did it!" she can be heard saying in the clip. "You unlocked the 1989 (Taylor's Version) vault and now I am so excited to share the new vault track titles with you."
Swift revealed the fifth and final vault song title — "Slut!" — as well as the album's back cover art in a subsequent social media post .
"It's a new soundtrack," she wrote. "Here are the back covers and vault track titles for 1989 (my version) I can't wait for this one to be out, seriously. Thank you for playing along, sleuthing, puzzling and making these reveals so much chaotic fun (which is the best kind of fun, after all)."
There is now only one track on 1989 (Taylor's Version) — an additional song included on the Target exclusive version of the album — that has yet to be publicly named.
Swift announced the re-release of 1989 , one of her most beloved albums, at the final stop on the U.S. leg of her Eras Tour in Los Angeles last month. It is the fourth re-recorded album that she's released in recent years — following Fearless , Red , and Speak Now — as a way to own the masters of her first six records.
"There's something that I've been planning for a really, really long time... and I think instead of just, like, telling you about it, I think I'll just sort of show you," she revealed during the concert as the album's art and release date were depicted on screens behind her.
Swift described 1989 (Taylor's Version) as her "FAVORITE re-record I've ever done" in a follow-up post on social media "because the 5 From The Vault tracks are so insane." She added, "I can't believe they were ever left behind. But not for long!"
1989 (Taylor's Version) dances out of your wildest dreams and into your headphones on Oct. 27.

Taylor Swift has restructured her Eras Tour. Is this the show we'll see in Indianapolis?
At her first show in Paris, France, Taylor Swift had many surprises in store for fans: New outfits, set transitions and most noticeably, a new setlist.
It is assumed this will be the setlist used throughout the rest of the tour, which means Indianapolis may be seeing this version of the Eras Tour in November as opposed to the version she did on the first leg of her North American tour (but don't worry, it will forever be immortalized in the movie experience on Disney+ ).

Fans were surprised she changed up the order of the different eras of her music as well as the addition of the newest era, TTPD.
Of course, to make room for the new section of the show, some cuts were made.
She removed "The Archer" from the "Lover" section, she removed "Long Live," from the "Speak Now" section, she combined the "Evermore" and "Folklore" sets to save time and removed "the 1," "tolerate it," "'tis the damn season" and "the last great american dynasty."
