Trolls world tour voice cast guide: what the actors look like in real life.

The actors behind Poppy, Branch, and company rock out inside and outside the six Trolls World Tour musical lands. This is what they really look like.

Here's who's in the cast of   Trolls World Tour , including what they look like and where you know them from. Trolls World Tour , which released straight-to-VOD in April 2020, boasts a star-studded cast that gathers numerous musicians, actors, and comedians.

Trolls World Tour follows the success of the first Trolls   movie from 2016, praised for its take on an animated musical. This time, an unfamiliar tribe of Trolls takes the place of the Bergens as the main villains of the movie, putting the fate of the six lands of music in jeopardy.

The first Trolls movie had an impressive cast, including Zooey Deschanel, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and John Cleese, and the same goes for the sequel. From rock stars to a crazy ex-girlfriend  to a Nazi officer in the strange world of Jojo Rabbit , the actors behind the voices of the Trolls come from very diverse backgrounds, something that emphasizes the fresh bloom of different kinds of Trolls in their ever-growing cosmos.  Anna Kendrick as Queen Poppy

Anna Kendrick reprises her role as the fuchsia-haired Poppy. As the Queen of the Pop Trolls, she must reunify the six lands of Trolls and use their respective melodies to prevent the Rock Trolls from taking over. Anna Kendrick is well known for appearances in movies like Twilight , Into The Woods , and the  Pitch Perfect  trilogy.

Justin Timberlake as Branch

Justin Timberlake reprises his role as Branch, Poppy's best friend and hero of the previous Trolls film. While still mostly known for his music, Timberlake has built a steady acting career too, appearing in The Social Network , Friends with Benefits , and Inside Llewyn Davis .

James Corden as Biggie

James Corden returns as Biggie, the lovable, large blue pop troll with a heart of gold. Corden is perhaps best known now for the Carpool Karaoke segment of  The Late Late Show , which he hosts ,  but he has also appeared in several movies. These include  Into the Woods , sharing the screen with co-star Anna Kendrick, The History Boys , Ocean's 8 , and Cats . Kevin Michael Richardson ( The Batman animated series) voices his pet worm, Mr. Dinkles.

Rachel Bloom as Queen Barb

Rachel Bloom plays Queen Barb in Trolls World Tour, the new leader of the Rock Trolls, hellbent on crusading against the six lands and establishing rock as the only musical genre. Bloom starred as Rebecca Bunch in all four seasons of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (which she also co-created). She also has considerable experience as a voice actress with credits including  Robot Chicken, My Little Pony, BoJack Horseman ,  and the voice of Silver in  The Angry Birds Movie 2. 

Ozzy Osbourne as King Thrash

The Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne plays King Thrash of the Rock Trolls in Trolls World Tour . He is the senile father of Queen Barb, now retired from the throne and supportive of his daughter's desires to protect their tribe at all costs. Ozzy Osbourne is best known for his music career, both as a solo artist and the frontman of Black Sabbath, while he also starred in reality TV series The Osbournes .

Kelly Clarkson as Delta Dawn

Kelly Clarkson plays Delta Dawn in Trolls World Tour , the leader and town mayor of the Country Trolls. Clarkson won the first season of American Idol , and currently serves as a judge on The Voice , as well as hosting The Kelly Clarkson Show .

Sam Rockwell as Hickory

Sam Rockwell plays Hickory in Trolls World Tour , a Yodel Troll disguised as a Country Troll.  Sam Rockwell won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri . His other previous roles include Jojo Rabbit , Iron Man 2 , and Moon .

Anderson .Paak as Prince D: A Funk Troll, and the son of King Quincy and Queen Essence. A Grammy-winning rapper, Anderson .Paak collaborated with Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake for a full song - "Don't Slack", which is part of the  Trolls World Tour  soundtrack.

George Clinton as King Quincy: King of the Funk Trolls. Considered one of the founding fathers of funk music, Clinton is known for his work with the bands Parliament and Funkadelic.

Mary J. Blige as Queen Essence: Queen of the Funk Trolls. A multi-award winning R&B artist, Mary J. Blige received a Best Support Actress Oscar nomination for her performance in 2017's Mudbound .

Kenan Thompson as Tiny Diamond:  A Hip-Hop Troll. Rising to fame on Nickelodeon in the 1990s, including his own sitcom Kenan & Kel , Thompson has been a cast member on Saturday Night Live since debuting in 2003.

Kunal Nayyar as Guy Diamond: A Pop Troll and Tiny's father. Kunal   Nayyar is best known for his role as Raj Koothrappali in  The Big Bang Theory .

Jamie Dornan as Chaz : A Jazz Troll. Jamie Dornan is known for playing Christian Grey in the 50 Shades franchise.

Icona Pop as Satin & Chenille: Fashion Trolls who are twins. Icona Pop is a Swedish duo comprised of Caroline Hjelt and Alno Jawo, who previously appeared in Trolls.

J Balvin - Tresillo: Leader of the Raggaetron Trolls.  The Colombian reggaeton artist has had songs included in two of the  Fast and Furious   films. "RITMO" , with The Black Eyed Peas, was part of the Bad Bots for Life soundtrack.

Ron Funches - Cooper: A Pop Troll. Known for his stand-up comedy and appearances in Comedy Central. He's also an actor, voice actor and writer who has appeared in films like  6 Underground ,  Get Hard ,   and   DC's Harley Quinn  animated series.

Ester Dean as Legsly:  A Pop Troll. Ester Dean is a singer/songwriter, whose acting credits include playing Cynthia-Rose in the Pitch Perfect trilogy.

Red Velvet - The K-Pop Trolls:  The K-Pop group portrays Baby Bun, Gomdori, Wani, Ari, and Kim-Petis - rivals to the Reggaeton trolls.

Walt Dorhn as Various: Dorhn voices Smidge, Cloud Guy, and King Peppy among others in Trolls World Tour . He's also the director of the movie.

The highly-anticipated sequel to the 2016 hit movie Trolls — starring Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick — has finally arrived. That's because Trolls World Tour officially dropped for everyone's streaming pleasure on April 10. (For rental, at least). Originally, the film was supposed to hit theaters at this time. But in response to movie theaters closing because of the novel coronavirus pandemic, families can now enjoy the movie from the comfort of their couches.

If you've already watched the second installment of the Trolls franchise, then you undoubtedly noticed a slew of brand new characters — along with some seriously familiar voices. Let's take a closer look at the Trolls World Tour cast, as well as photos of the actors behind behind the lovable new characters.

Poppy: Anna Kendrick

Anna Kendrick reprises her role as Poppy — Queen Poppy, leader of the pop trolls, that is — in Trolls World Tour . Will she learn to listen to those around her and become an amazing queen?

Branch: Justin Timberlake

The angelic voice of Justin Timberlake brings the grumpy, yet level-headed Branch to life in Trolls World Tour . This time around, however, Branch is also working through his feelings for Poppy.

Barb: Rachel Bloom

Rachel Bloom is a newcomer to the Trolls franchise, and she voices the queen of hard rock, Barb. If you ask us, she totally nails the part of the hardcore villain. (Her singing is on point, too!)

Biggie: James Corden

Just as he did in the original Trolls movie, James Corden plays the lovable Biggie in T rolls World Tour. He's the big, blue troll who is always has his pet/BFF, Mr. Dinkles, by his side.

Hickory: Sam Rockwell

Sam Rockwell is the voice behind Hickory in Trolls World Tour. You might recognize Sam as Captain Klenzendorf on J ojo Rabbit , or perhaps as Dixon on Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri .

Delta Dawn: Kelly Clarkson

We knew we recognized that voice! The leader of the country tolls, Delta Dawn, is voiced by Kelly Clarkson. And although his troll has an amazing voice and seems nice at first, viewers soon discovered she has a not-so-nice side, too.

Cooper: Ron Funches

Cooper is voiced by Ron Funches. (If Ron looks familiar, you might recognize him from the TV series Undateable .) This cupcake-pooping troll's four-legged physique always seemed a little out of place among his two-legged peers — and in Trolls World Tour, viewers finally find out why. It turns out, he's actually the son of King Quincy and Queen Essence.

Guy Diamond: Kunal Nayyar

Kunal Nayyar has returned for Trolls World Tour to reprise his role as the voice of Guy Diamond. Guy is everyone's favorite glittery, naked troll — and he goes through a major life change in this Trolls sequel. (Kunal is best known for his role as Raj on The Big Bang Theory .)

Tiny Diamond: Kenan Thompson

In Trolls World Tour , Guy Diamond "gives birth" to a baby via his hair — and Tiny Diamond is voiced by none other than Kenan Thompson. He's a hip-hop troll, and thanks to the talents of the SNL star, he's got a whole lotta personality going on.

Chaz: Jamie Dornan

Jamie Dornan is the voice of a smooth jazz troll named Chaz, who is a bounty hunter out to capture Poppy for Queen Barb. It makes sense that Poppy and Branch are totally enamored by his smooth jazz skills — and that Dornan is also the actor behind Christian Grey.

Satin and Chenille: Icona Pop

Fans first met Stain and Chenille in the original Trolls movie. These conjoined twin sisters — who are joined by their hair — are voiced by Icona Pop. More specifically, Caroline Hjelt is Chenille and Aino Jawo is Satin.

King Quincy: George Clinton

King Quincy is the ruler of the funk trolls — so who better to voice him than the legend of funk himself, George Clinton? King Quincy and his wife, Queen Essence, are the parents of Cooper and Prince D.

Queen Essence: Mary J. Blige

Queen Essence is voiced by Mary J. Blige, who rules alongside her husband, King Quincy, as leaders of the funk trolls in Trolls World Tour . And you can bet she's the one providing the queen's singing vocals, too.

King Thrash: Ozzy Osbourne

It's difficult not to see the similarities between King Thrash (Queen Barb's father) in Trolls World Tour and the Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne. As it turns out, Ozzy actually voiced him, too!

Prince D: Anderson Paak

Prince D is the son of King Quincy and Queen Essence — and he's voiced by award-winning musician Anderson Paak. Even cooler? Prince D is actually Cooper's twin brother.

King Trollex: Anthony Ramos

Anthony Ramos is the voice behind King Trollex, who is the leader of the techno trolls. He briefly appeared in A Star Is Born, if you can't quite figure out why he seems familiar to you.

King Peppy, Cloud Guy, Mr. Dinkles: Walt Dohrn

Walt Dohrn is a seriously multi-talented guy — because not only did he voice King Peppy, Cloud Guy, Mr. Dinkles, and a few other side characters, he also directed Trolls World Tour .

K-Pop Gang: Red Velvet

The K-Pop gang is a group of female trolls that represent the K-pop genre of music — and these ladies have got moves. They're based on/voiced by the Korean pop group Red Velvet.

Trolls 2 Voice Cast: Who's Voicing The World Tour Characters

Trying to keep your kids entertained while stuck at home just became a lot easier now that DreamWorks Animation has released Trolls 2: Trolls World Tour as a digital rental the same day that it was supposed to hit theaters. Back in all that good animated and musical goodness is a voice cast including Anna Kendrick , Justin Timberlake , James Corden , and more actors and musicians than any reasonable parent can keep up with.

Anna Kendrick - Queen Poppy

Queen Poppy is the main protagonist is both Trolls and Trolls World Tour , in which the fearless leader of the Pop Trolls who sets out unite all the different Trolls tribes that exist outside her own. Poppy is voiced by Anna Kendrick who is best known for her work in the Pitch Perfect and Twilight franchises.

Justin Timberlake - Branch

Unlike his love interest, Queen Poppy, Branch is a cautious and more grounded Pop Troll who spent much of his life mastering different survival skills before embracing song and dance with the Trolls. The character is brought to life by the singer/dancer/actor/everything Justin Timberlake, who requires no further introduction.

James Corden - Biggie

With a heart as large as his stature, Biggie is a tall and round blue Pop Troll who joins Poppy and Branch on their different adventures. Voiced by everyone's favorite carpool karaoke enthusiast James Corden, this lovable character is nothing but bounds and bounds of fun and joy.

Kevin Michael Richardson - Mr. Dinkles

You couldn't have Biggie without his best friend Mr. Dinkles, a small worm who uses a squeaky "mew" sound to communicate instead of using words. Mr. Dinkles is voiced by acclaimed voice actor Kevin Michael Richardson, whose list of credits includes shows like Samurai Jack , The Batman , and Rick And Morty to name just three of his scores of roles.

Kunal Nayyar - Guy Diamond

Guy Diamond is the glittery silver Pop Troll we all came to know and love in Trolls . The so-called "Life Of The Party," Guy Diamond has an auto-tuned voice and is full of himself more than any other troll. Keenan Thompson - Tiny Diamond

The son, or at least tiny version of Guy Diamond, Tiny Diamond is a small, silver and glittery Pop Troll with a deep voice and moves like none other. He is brought alive by Keenan Thompson, who you might remember as the longest-running cast member of Saturday Night Live .

Rachel Bloom - Queen Barb

Queen Barb is the main antagonist in Trolls World Tour . The leader of the Rock Trolls, Barb sets out to capture the five strings and destroy all other forms of music played by the other troll tribes. Queen Barb is voiced by Rachel Bloom, who is best known for co-creating and starring in the CW series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend .

Icona Pop - Satin And Chenille

Satin and Chenille are conjoined twins connected by their blue and pink hair. Like any good set of twins in an animated movie, Satin and Chenille can't seem to agree on anything. The twins are voiced by Icona Pop (Aino Jawo and Caroline Hjelt).

George Clinton - King Quincy

Along with Queen Essence, King Quincy rules over the Funk Trolls. King Quincy is brought to life by the living legend of funk music himself, George Clinton.

Mary J. Blige - Queen Essence

The son of King Quincy and Queen Essence, Prince D is one of the most accepting characters in Trolls World Tour and is very encouraging to just about everyone, including his twin brother, Cooper. Prince D is voiced by award-winning musician Anderson Paak.

Ron Funches - Cooper

Cooper is the fun-loving fuzzy son of King Quincy and Queen Essence that looks more like a giraffe than anything else. With a long neck and four legs, Cooper is definitely one of the strangest member of the Trolls cast appearing for the sequel. Voiced by Ron Funches, who you might remember the television series Undateable .

Kelly Clarkson - Delta Dawn

Delta Dawn is the leader of the Country Trolls who seems nice at first, but turns out to be anything but. She is voiced by Kelly Clarkson .

Red Velvet - K-Pop Gang

The K-Pop gang are a group of female K-Pop Trolls who are nearly identical save for their hair and outfits. They are based off and voiced by the Korean pop group Red Velvet.

Anthony Ramos - King Trollex

King Trollex is the leader of the Techno Trolls and looks like something out of a pixilated rave than he does a traditional troll. This high-energy neon troll is voiced by singer and actor Anthony Ramos, who you might remember from his brief appearance in A Star Is Born .

The McElroy Brothers - Skyscraper

Skyscraper is rather unique Pop Troll that has four heads that talk in unison. They are voiced by the McElroy Brothers.

DreamWorks Animation has released fourteen characters posters for the musical animated adventure sequel Trolls World Tour , along with a batch of first look images from the movie featuring returning characters Poppy (Anna Kendrick), Branch (Justin Timberlake) and Guy Diamond (Kunal Nayyar) as well as newcomers Queen Barb (Rachel Bloom), Tiny Diamond (Kenan Thompson), King Quincy (George Clinton), Queen Essence (Mary J. Blige), Trollzart (Gustavo Dudamel), King Trollex (Anthony Ramos), and Delta Dawn (Kelly Clarkson); check them out here…

Continuing where the first film left off, it’s all glitter and happiness in Troll Town until Queen Poppy and Branch make a surprising discovery — there are other Troll worlds beyond their own, each defined by a different genre of music. When a mysterious threat puts all the Trolls across the land in danger, Poppy, Branch, and their band of friends must embark on an epic quest through unfamiliar terrain to do the impossible: create harmony among the diverse Trolls to unite them against certain doom.
