Today, kindred spirits and key figures in the hip-hop underground, Bones, Xavier Wulf , and Eddy Baker, announced they will hit the road this summer for BONES x Xavier Wulf x Eddy Baker: The InLovingMemory Tour , the first-ever co-headlining tour by these three artists, and Bones’ first time back on the road in four years. 

Produced by Live Nation and Rolling Loud, the 20-city tour kicks off  at Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, CA, on May 20, and includes stops across the U.S. in Chicago, IL; Atlanta, GA; Denver, CO: and more before wrapping up at the Van Buren in Phoenix, AZ, on June 22. 

BONES, Xavier Wulf, and Eddy Baker have been doing their thing away from the limelight for over a decade, creating their own strain of hip-hop in the dark corners of the internet. The three artists consciously avoid the hip-hop mainstream, but they’re still doing numbers: TeamSESH CEO BONES recently earned his first-ever GOLD certification from the RIAA for his 2014 hit “ HDMI ,” while Hollow Squad CEO Xavier Wulf went GOLD with his 2014 Blood Shore Season 2 cut “Psycho Pass.” BONES, Wulf, and Baker recently treated fans to a preview of the upcoming tour, joining forces on the main stage during Rolling Loud California 2023 . 

The tour announcement continues as busy 2023 for BONES. He recently shared TheWitch&TheWizard , a haunting album created with longtime TeamSESH producer Greaf , a close collaborator of BONES who co-helmed his surrenderdorothy and OREGONTRAIL side projects. In March, BONES and Eddy Baker teamed up for “YellowStone ,” the first single from Jones Peak , their upcoming collaborative album. The first album by BONES and Eddy Baker as a duo since 2019’s cult favorite SparrowsCreek , Jones Peak arrives on April 14 via TeamSESH / EMPIRE .

Teaming up for a cross-country sojourn to celebrate their joint and solo accomplishments, the three underground kings announce the  “ BONES x Xavier Wulf x Eddy Baker: InLovingMemory Tour ,” presented by  Live Nation  and  Rolling Loud , kicking off this May. The upcoming tour is the  first by BONES in four years , and the first-ever co-headlining tour by these three artists.

Named after a 2021 album by BONES, the “InLovingMemory Tour” tour begins on May 20th at Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, making stops across the U.S. in Chicago, Atlanta, Denver and more before wrapping up in Phoenix at The Van Buren on June 22nd.

Bones, Eddy Baker, & Xavier Wulf reveal “In Loving Memory” Tour

Last week, Bones released the visuals to his “ Airplane Mode ” single. This was released back in 2019, but Bones decided to drop the visuals for it, after momentum with it on social media really began to skyrocket again. These include many fans including Airplane Mode on various TikTok posts.

Meanwhile, Bones is also hitting the road again. This will be a joint tour with Xavier Wulf and Eddy Baker, which is the “In Loving Memory ” Tour. This is also in partnership with Rolling Loud . As a result, for Bones, the tour also becomes his first, in over four years.

The first date of the In Loving Memory Tour will kick off on May 20, in Los Angeles. 21 dates will be available in total, as their final shows will conclude on July 22, at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami . Xavier, Bones, and Eddy are also currently the first three artists to be revealed, from the RL Miami 2023 lineup.

Live Review: BONES, Xavier Wulf, and Eddy Baker @ The Fillmore Silver Spring — 5/31/23

Legends of the underground, BONES, Xavier Wulf, and Eddy Baker brought their In Loving Memory Tour to The Fillmore Silver Spring last week, the first-ever co-headlining tour from the three frequent collaborators and friends.

Backed by some creepy black and white projections, three open coffins occupied by their skeleton doppelgängers and a couple of decrepit old trees for the full cemetery effect; the trio stepped through the fog tagging in and out of the spotlight for over two hours with no openers. Serving as each others hype men, the guys performed song after song from their long-lived careers since the era Soundcloud rap. 

At The Fillmore Silver Spring on May 31, the Undertaker’s theme music played as the room fell dark and a projection of BONES picking up the other guys in a hearse played on the screen. Xavier started the night off with “First Light” as the guys ran out on stage and greeted the crowd. BONES stopped to give out the rule of “pick each other up” and told everyone to take care of each other before performing “RestInPeace” and immediately starting up the mosh pits. Eddy took over next and kept the energy going with “Nino Brown.” The guys kept passing the baton through the night one song at a time. 

With his hair draped over his face the entire night, BONES kept everyone in a frenzy with records such as “CtrlAltDelete,” “Airplane Mode,” and “Red Alert,” while still giving them chances to collect themselves and catch their breath with slow songs like “WhereTheTreesMeetTheFreeway” and “Calcium.”

Halfway through the show, BONES started letting the crowd choose some of the songs they wanted him to perform, the first of which was selected by a girl upstairs in the balcony celebrating her birthday. She along with her friends shouted “MORNING DEW!!” down to the stage to the surprise of Bones and Xavier that she’d chosen the over 13-year-old song from the duo. The guys wished her a happy birthday and asked the crowd to help them remember the lyrics by singing along. Other Soundcloud classics like “Sodium,” “Cemetery Blunts,” and “Weatherman” were also voted for by the crowd.

Wulf kept the room shaking throughout the night with songs like “Hoonigan,” “Check It Out,” and “Request Refused,” while making sure to shout out all the car girls and guys in the crowd just before performing “Akina Speed Star.” Fan favorites like “Psycho Pass” and “Mobile Suit Woe” were sung along word for word by the crowd, while “CrashLanding” and “Thunder Man” started up the first circle pits of the night as the center of the room spun like a whirlpool. The whole crowd shouted out “Who!?” every time X took center stage.

Eddy called out for the moshpit captains to assemble and get the pits going all through out the night. He head-bannged along with the kids in the front rows as he performed records like “Mad Men,” “Puddle,” and “WARZONE FREESTYLE,” but even a song like “Knight Rider” with its sudden switch to an ’80s dance club sound had the same kids grooving along as he performed and even broke out his Carlton dance. He had complete control of the crowd during records like “Ready2Rumble”, “Telescopes” and “LooseScrew” as even the people way in the back ever compelled to bounced around.

BONES jumped down on to the barricades to embrace the fans while he performed “Dirt” and “HDMI” and eventually made his way up into the balcony along with his security, as X and Eddy split the room down the middle from the stage. He reminded everyone to make sure each other was safe and jokingly threatened to never comeback to Maryland if someone got hurt before telling the DJ to drop the beat. As the song built up and the two sides bounced closer and closer to each other the guys chanted “Wait!” and “Not Yet!”, while BONES told them to “Have some discipline Maryland.”

They counted to 3 — and the first line of “Return of the Pimp” finally dropped, sending the two sides smashing into each other turning the entire place into a giant pit. Once BONES got back to the stage they all thanked the crowd for all their love and support, letting them know it’d been the best show of the tour so far.

Limp Bizkit’s “Break Something” played as the guys partied along with everyone else throughout the first half of the song before saying one last good night and leaving the stage before the kids in the pit even noticed they were gone. 

The In Loving Memory Tour is about half way through with the boys wrapping things up at Rolling Loud Miami late next month.

BONES, Xavier Wulf, and Eddy Baker are prolific hip-hop artists who purely create music without stepping into the limelight. They just did their own thing by publishing tracks on Soundcloud. Even though their music is not making regular appearances on the Billboard charts, they still bring in a colossal amount of streams.

Elmo Kenney O’Connor, a.k.a. BONES, is an all-around singer-songwriter and rapper. He is known for infusing hip-hop with emo, trap, and metal. This unique hip-hop brand may seem different from what listeners are used to on the mainstream scene, but BONES has consistently amassed a following. Soon he developed a large fan base. For someone who is 29 years young, BONES has released a whopping 80 records, with another one on the way. His accomplishments today stemmed from his love for hip-hop. At age 9, he began making music by downloading hip-hop instrumentals and rapping over them through his iMac G3’s built-in microphone. At 16 years old, he started releasing music online under another alias.

In 2012, he officially changed his name to BONES and dropped his self-titled debut album. By 2015, BONES has headlined his first sold-out show. In the same year, he also opened for Shlohmo and was featured in ASAP Rocky’s “Canal St.” BONES earned his first U.S. gold certification for his 2014 hit, “HDMI.”

Eddy Baker is a rapper and singer-songwriter who began his career as a member of the underground hip-hop supergroup Raider Klan. The group is a purveyor of a trap subgenre called Phonk. In 2012, Baker released his debut mixtape, Edibles. The following year, he performed at Coachella and shared the stage with other rappers from Raider Klan. In 2014, Baker left the music collective to join BONES in Seshollowaterboyz with Chris Travis and Xavier Wolf.

Xavier Wulf is also a former Raider Klan member before joining BONES in the music collective, Seshollowaterboyz. Currently CEO of the Hollow Squad, Xavier Wulf was heavily influenced by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony during his youth. His phenomenal 2014 hit, “Psycho-Pass,” earned a gold certification in the U.S.
