If you value great service and a hassle free booking experience then I recommend Hays Travel. You don't get the same experience from a Web page or a call center. The agents experience helped us navigate a whole host of cruise options to get us the holiday we wanted. Megan was brilliant and very patient as we ran through all sorts of cabin options.

Excellent Service.

We were seen right away when we walked into your Branch in Livingston. A lovely young assistant called Amy asked if she could help us, within a few minutes we were looking at the options available to us and about 30 minutes later after Amy had gone through everything about the hotel, flights and the resort and anything else we wanted to know, we were all booked. Amy was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. We have been using Hays Travel in Livingston for the past 5 or 6 years and all of the staff have been very friendly and do their best to get you the holiday you want.

Sam listened to everything we wanted from this trip and picked out the prefect travel route and hotels. She has planned our internal flights, transfers and has given us hints and tips for while we are there. She included upgrade options for us as we were booking our honeymoon and has made this whole planning and booking experience so exciting and easy for us. Couldn't have asked for anything better!

Customer service at its very best

Sarah is so attentive. Lots of communication, both to understand the requirements, and during the process. Loads of options provided and help in narrowing them down. Always double checks any changes. No rush. Not pushy. Customer service at its best.

Charlotte was absolutely brilliant

Charlotte was absolutely brilliant. She explained everything to me regarding the hotel and its location. She helped me save money the transfer to the hotel and just couldn’t do enough. I would highly recommend hays travel having experienced other travel agents.

Zoe was excellent dealing with our many…

Zoe was excellent dealing with our many queries on our May Mediterranean cruise as there are 6 of us travelling. She then booked the Hays exclusive Caribbean cruise on 7 November 2025 for us. It proved very popular with very little availability as we were looking for 3 cabins in a row. In the end there was only one possibility which we eventually booked. All in all, we were in Hays, Rayleigh, for nearly 4 hours and throughout Zoe was extremely patient, smiling, professional and efficient. Very impressive as my sister-in-law and I were feeling more than fraught with it all so thank goodness one of us kept calm!! The other Hays Rayleigh staff were as always very helpful and supportive. Excellent service all round.

Hays at Bluewater staff…

From the start Hays at Bluewater staff have been brilliant at sorting out my holiday. Maxine was amazing so patient and helpful in helping us choose the right holiday. I had a few little hitches with paperwork at the beginning but the staff at Bluewater where very helpful and sorted out the problem very quickly. I haven’t given 5 stars at the moment but if everything keeps going so well every step of the way till I leave on my holiday then they will definitely get 5 stars from me.

My wifes dad came across Karen a while ago and continued to use her holiday expertise. We started to use Karen for our own holidays. Honeymoon, celebration holidays and holiday in general. She is absolutely brilliant! We discussed a few things and she finds us a great place to stay. Highly recommend!

We again went to Hays Travel to book our cruise vacation. Our agent Sandra was diligent, professional and very helpful to ensure we had all options for our P&O cruise to choose from. We went in to the Dundee branch and booked our Mediterranean cruise for later this year and was so impressed with her service we booked a second cruise for next year to the Caribbean. 5 star service from Kirstyne

The first time we went to hays travel (2023)we were made to feel like an inconvenience, staff just sat and stared at us, it was horrible and awkward and snobby with us. Was not a welcoming environment at all. Fast forward to 2024, it was a completely different experience. Kirstyne unlocked the door and welcomed us in the store with a smile. Asked us how she could help us. The other staff should be more like kirstyne.

Well once again Jo has surpassed herself with finding us a great holiday deal, even after finding us a good deal which fell through. Jo always goes that extra mile, always with the customer in mind.

Attentive customer service

Natalie and her team are dedicated to finding you your perfect holiday. I contacted them for a more tailored holiday similar to one I’ve seen on another site. Within two days, they created a fabulous itinerary for me, it was such a good offer they even advertised it on Facebook! Once I was ready to go ahead, paying the deposit was easy via the Hays website and I was emailed all the relevant documentation. I know that if I need anything from them before I go on holiday, they will be there for me.

Friendly - non pushy

Lindsey was friendly, approachable, non pushy, informative, nothing was too much trouble as we asked questions along the way. We only went in to enquire and came out with a booked holiday!! How exciting were we!

Very helpful and efficient

I contacted lynsey to help try and find a last min short break to somewhere sunny. She looked quite extensively for one that matched what we wanted. I had also been looking and had found a good deal - lynsey was able to find the same hotel etc and also for less...win win. Received all documents and made payment very efficiently. Would definitely book again with lynsey x

The staff in hays Livingston could not do enough very friendly and explained every detail, looked up so many flights for me and made the booking all went well and Pamela Kerr was so professional I will continue to use Hays travel.

Cruise booked

Saw holiday/cruise advertised on notice board and went in and enquired about it. Assistant could not have been more helpful. Went back a few hours later to book and Meg was very pleasant and proceeded with booking.

Friendly service from wonderful staff at Hay's Travel

My telephone call was answered by Hannah, what a lovely girl. I spoke of what I had been looking at on Hay's Travel website and let her know what I thought suited my friend and I. Hannah was so knowledgeable and friendly but still professional. I felt I was actually sitting in front her, I could actually hear her smile. Hannah dealt with everything, from booking the holiday, ensuring we have special assistance from boarding to transport from airport to our hotel and back again. This is the second time I have booked through Hay's Travel, the service and staff are second to none. I felt very special. Thank you Hannah, I look forward to meeting you in person. I recommend Hay's Travel very very highly.

We booked 2 holidays thanks to the attitude of Hannah. My wife and daughter booked Iceland and Hannah was very helpful explaining tours available, even though she hadn’t visited , looked at different hotels. Very satisfied so we spoke of a separate holiday for May that we were going to book elsewhere and with authority fro management matched the quoted price

Sam listened to everything we wanted from this trip and picked out the prefect travel route and hotels. She has planned our internal flights, transfers and has given us hints and tips for while we are there. She included upgrade options for us as we were booking our honeymoon and has made this whole planning and booking experience so exciting and easy for us. Couldn't have asked for anything better!

Sarah is so attentive. Lots of communication, both to understand the requirements, and during the process. Loads of options provided and help in narrowing them down. Always double checks any changes. No rush. Not pushy. Customer service at its best.

Charlotte was absolutely brilliant. She explained everything to me regarding the hotel and its location. She helped me save money the transfer to the hotel and just couldn’t do enough. I would highly recommend hays travel having experienced other travel agents.

Zoe was excellent dealing with our many…

Zoe was excellent dealing with our many queries on our May Mediterranean cruise as there are 6 of us travelling. She then booked the Hays exclusive Caribbean cruise on 7 November 2025 for us. It proved very popular with very little availability as we were looking for 3 cabins in a row. In the end there was only one possibility which we eventually booked. All in all, we were in Hays, Rayleigh, for nearly 4 hours and throughout Zoe was extremely patient, smiling, professional and efficient. Very impressive as my sister-in-law and I were feeling more than fraught with it all so thank goodness one of us kept calm!! The other Hays Rayleigh staff were as always very helpful and supportive. Excellent service all round.

Hays at Bluewater staff…

From the start Hays at Bluewater staff have been brilliant at sorting out my holiday. Maxine was amazing so patient and helpful in helping us choose the right holiday. I had a few little hitches with paperwork at the beginning but the staff at Bluewater where very helpful and sorted out the problem very quickly. I haven’t given 5 stars at the moment but if everything keeps going so well every step of the way till I leave on my holiday then they will definitely get 5 stars from me.

My wifes dad came across Karen a while ago and continued to use her holiday expertise. We started to use Karen for our own holidays. Honeymoon, celebration holidays and holiday in general. She is absolutely brilliant! We discussed a few things and she finds us a great place to stay. Highly recommend!

Tryvell was very helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable in his job. He found us a great package holiday and arranged our travel insurance and currency exchange. He maximised our stay in Rhodes - making it great value for money.

We again went to Hays Travel to book our cruise vacation. Our agent Sandra was diligent, professional and very helpful to ensure we had all options for our P&O cruise to choose from. We went in to the Dundee branch and booked our Mediterranean cruise for later this year and was so impressed with her service we booked a second cruise for next year to the Caribbean. 5 star service from Kirstyne

The first time we went to hays travel (2023)we were made to feel like an inconvenience, staff just sat and stared at us, it was horrible and awkward and snobby with us. Was not a welcoming environment at all. Fast forward to 2024, it was a completely different experience. Kirstyne unlocked the door and welcomed us in the store with a smile. Asked us how she could help us. The other staff should be more like kirstyne.

Excellent service

Well once again Jo has surpassed herself with finding us a great holiday deal, even after finding us a good deal which fell through. Jo always goes that extra mile, always with the customer in mind.

Attentive customer service

Natalie and her team are dedicated to finding you your perfect holiday. I contacted them for a more tailored holiday similar to one I’ve seen on another site. Within two days, they created a fabulous itinerary for me, it was such a good offer they even advertised it on Facebook! Once I was ready to go ahead, paying the deposit was easy via the Hays website and I was emailed all the relevant documentation. I know that if I need anything from them before I go on holiday, they will be there for me.

Friendly - non pushy

Lindsey was friendly, approachable, non pushy, informative, nothing was too much trouble as we asked questions along the way. We only went in to enquire and came out with a booked holiday!! How exciting were we!

Very helpful and efficient

I contacted lynsey to help try and find a last min short break to somewhere sunny. She looked quite extensively for one that matched what we wanted. I had also been looking and had found a good deal - lynsey was able to find the same hotel etc and also for less...win win. Received all documents and made payment very efficiently. Would definitely book again with lynsey x
