This place hands down, has the best steak I've had in a very LONG time. I live in NYC, and haven't found steak like this at any restaurant. If you're a tourist, you must try the steak and the ravioli!! Both dishes put together for 2 people will be enough to fill your belly to satisfaction. I give it five star for the food services and PRICE! Do yourself a favor and check this place out. You can thank me later.

Chill spot right on the corner of Rue de Sèvres and Av. De Breteuil. Fantastic spot to people watch and our first meal in Paris. After traveling the Thalys all day from Amsterdam we were starving! Checked ol trusty Yelp to guide us to a hearty spot. With only 3 reviews on here I saw it as my duty to write a review. Went with the steak + frites and burger + frites. Definitely hit the spot and washed it down with some house Rose and a 1664. Bill came out to 42€ but seems like that's pretty standard for this level of service which is pretty casual. No complaints on the food and everything was as expected. Our waiter was solid and he spoke French, English, and Spanish so there were no communication issues. Give this spot a try especially if you're staying in this hood. Peace!

Outstanding food for a cafe, good portions and it comes out pretty fast. My wife and I ate here three or four times during our week in Paris because it was so close to our lodging. We saw the same host every day who spoke great English and who was very attentive. The hamburger and beef tartare are both excellent. The pasta with extremely rich cheesy white sauce is probably the best thing on the menu.

Lovely food. Service is great. Waiters are very nice (and at least one of them is very good to the eyes) and friendly. The Confit de Canard and the amazing chips are a must. Truly recommended.

Very very good food - fast service, friendly staff, good location. Salmon on a puff pastry, bitter field greens with a mild Dijon dressing and potato salad. Tasty

We really liked this bistro, right next door to where we were staying. Everything was good, nice portions, and the staff were very nice to us too. The salads were the best of all. Was glad they were open late in the afternoon when a... lot of places were closed. This cute little eatery is perfect for a quick bite. The food isn't gourmet, but it is nice quality and tasty. The burgers are big, messy and great for when you have that American burger craving. The terrace is lovely for drinks and people watching.... We love sitting out here on a sunny afternoon taking in the views of the park across the street. The exterior of the building has recently been redone, giving it a fresh, clean look. More

This is our favourite bar in Paris. Really authentic, no pretence to be anything than it is and great wine. The prices are no more than other cafe’s (Paris is notoriously expensive) and the staff were excellent - very friendly and remembered our tipple! We... didn’t eat here, but saw others demolish their food with gusto! More

Had I’d checked Trip Advisor first I wouldn’t have entertained the idea of eating here. Glad I didn’t check!! Food was amazing!!! Had the mixed cheese and meat board to start followed by the octopus and my daughter had steak. Great red wine too!! Only... issue is smokers outside ruining the fresh air so we had to move inside. Shouldn’t be allowed. Great place. Highly recommend. Staff nice too. More

Went to Paris for the euros (northern ireland) found this restaurant round from are hotel. What a find went 2 nights because the food was excellent and really good menu great atmosphere live music etc. Hospitality and service excellent. Lovely place, nice staff, great food. We have tried a kind of pasta similar to a risotto with pesto sauce. And price is quite far.

The server mocked my accent and my pronunciation, and screamed at me, telling me to "retourner chez vous" (i.e., go back to where I came from), when I pointed out how xenophobic he was being. Then, he came out after me and tried to fight... me. All of this in front of my young daughter. To avoid at all costs. More

My partner and I were craving for some fresh orange juice, after visiting 3 different shops no one had an idea what we were asking for, we came to this shop asking for 2 glasses of fresh orange juice in take away cups, after sometime... we got our juices and we got charged for €11 for 2 small cups of orange juice. Throughly enjoyed both our visits. The steak with the best ever pepper sauce. The duck leg delicious and tender. The bucheta with beef and pepper and added pepper sauce, again delicious. Staff very friendly, would recommend.

We visited during a workday and found the place full. To me, this meant that the food was probably good. And it was. I chose the spicy prawn pasta but it was not spicy. It tasted good but was not spicy. My companions said their... meals were tasty too. There were so few on the wait staff but everyone in the whole restaurant got what they wanted and got it fast. Kudos to the staff! More

Just stopped here as the daily menu looked fine. We had omelettes aux girolles which were great and cooked as requested one of us had the confit de canard also nice. Prices reasonable and fast service.

Fresh fish and nice salad, the place was very convenient for a quick lunch between friends. The dishes were well cooked, fresh and tasty. We did not make any reservation, but the service was good and fast -- with a smile.

Lunch began with our server suggesting our group move from the shade into the sun - it was the right call and started a memorable meal for our first day in Paris. In our group of four, two ordered hamburgers (the house special), two chose... salads (the Caprese salad and the Scandinavian, which featured salmon and shrimp and is pictured) and all enjoyed their amazing French fries and a bottle of the house rosé wine. Picture a Saturday afternoon with perfect spring weather and a delicious lunch at this lovely café with friendly, helpful service. I arrived about a half hour after my friends and our server was amenable to getting my order in quickly and attentively helping me. We chose La Tour de Nesle simply because it was close to our lodging and were very appreciative of the overall experience. It started off our trip on the right note! More

Bonne table pour un repas pris entre midi et deux. Le serveur nous propose le menu du jour, nous lui avons fait confiance et nous avons bien fait. Bon rapport qualité prix dans la bonne humeur.

Service professionnel. Plats frais et plutôt bons même si peu copieux. Addition plutôt élevée pour ce qu'on y a mangé mais à priori dans les tarifs parisiens... Je n'en garderai pas un souvenir impérissable...

We really liked this bistro, right next door to where we were staying. Everything was good, nice portions, and the staff were very nice to us too. The salads were the best of all. Was glad they were open late in the afternoon when a... lot of places were closed. Our tour guide had recommended it as a neighborhood staple and we were glad he did (his company is The Good Guide Paris). If we stay in the 15th again, we will come back here More

This cute little eatery is perfect for a quick bite. The food isn't gourmet, but it is nice quality and tasty. The burgers are big, messy and great for when you have that American burger craving. The terrace is lovely for drinks and people watching.... We love sitting out here on a sunny afternoon taking in the views of the park across the street. The exterior of the building has recently been redone, giving it a fresh, clean look. More

This is our favourite bar in Paris. Really authentic, no pretence to be anything than it is and great wine. The prices are no more than other cafe’s (Paris is notoriously expensive) and the staff were excellent - very friendly and remembered our tipple! We... didn’t eat here, but saw others demolish their food with gusto! More

Had I’d checked Trip Advisor first I wouldn’t have entertained the idea of eating here. Glad I didn’t check!! Food was amazing!!! Had the mixed cheese and meat board to start followed by the octopus and my daughter had steak. Great red wine too!! Only... issue is smokers outside ruining the fresh air so we had to move inside. Throughly enjoyed both our visits. The steak with the best ever pepper sauce. The duck leg delicious and tender. The bucheta with beef and pepper and added pepper sauce, again delicious. Staff very friendly, would recommend.

We visited during a workday and found the place full. To me, this meant that the food was probably good. And it was. I chose the spicy prawn pasta but it was not spicy. It tasted good but was not spicy. My companions said their... meals were tasty too. There were so few on the wait staff but everyone in the whole restaurant got what they wanted and got it fast. Fresh fish and nice salad, the place was very convenient for a quick lunch between friends. The dishes were well cooked, fresh and tasty. We did not make any reservation, but the service was good and fast -- with a smile.

Lunch began with our server suggesting our group move from the shade into the sun - it was the right call and started a memorable meal for our first day in Paris. In our group of four, two ordered hamburgers (the house special), two chose... salads (the Caprese salad and the Scandinavian, which featured salmon and shrimp and is pictured) and all enjoyed their amazing French fries and a bottle of the house rosé wine.
