Sources connected to the couple and the NBA franchise tell TMZ ... one of the staffer's duties included planning Udoka's team-related travel, and we're told she was also involved in booking travel for Nia to come to Boston or to road games.

Perhaps most upsetting for Nia is that the employee had a hand in Nia's arrangements to move to Boston permanently, according to our sources.

TMZ broke the story ... Nia had just moved east a little over 2 weeks ago with Kez , her 10-year-old son with Ime.

The Celtics are not releasing the name of the employee, but we're told Nia has been told who she is.

Team President Brad Stevens got choked up Friday during a news conference ... saying the scandal had been particularly upsetting for all their female employees -- due to speculation about who had the affair with Udoka.

As we've reported, the team suspended its head coach for the entire 2022-23 season after what it says was a months-long investigation into his conduct.

We've reached out to the Celtics for comment, but no word back yet. Ditto for Nia's reps.

The Celtics female staffer who had an affair with head coach Ime Udoka helped make his travel arrangements — and her job sometimes included doing the same for his fiancée Nia Long, according to a new report.

Sources told TMZ on Saturday the staffer’s duties included booking the now-suspended coach’s team-related travel and well as booking travel for his actress fiancée to attend home games in Boston and road games.

The staffer also allegedly helped arrange Long’s move to Boston about two weeks ago, and Long knows who she is, TMZ reported.

Udoka was suspended for the 2022-23 season for violating team policy, which was due to  an inappropriate and consensual relationship  with a female member of the Celtics staff.

The Celtics have not revealed the woman’s identity.

The Athletic reported late Thursday night that the female staffer  recently accused Udoka of making “unwanted comments” to her.

The Celtics have said they were alerted to “a potential situation” involving Udoka over the summer, which led to the hiring of an independent law firm that conducted an investigation. The Celtics said no one else — including the woman involved — has been disciplined or is expected to be disciplined.

Boston Celtics president of basketball operations Brad Stevens, alongside team owner Wyc Grousbeck, on Friday, addressed the tidal wave of reports and rumors surrounding the team policy-violating conduct of suspended head coach Ime Udoka.

Stevens, who served as the Celtics head coach for eight seasons, was visibly distraught -- both in his facial expression and language when speaking to members of the media.

"We have a lot of talented women in our organization, and I thought (Thursday) was really hard on them. Nobody can control Twitter speculation. Rampant (expletive)," Stevens emotionally told reporters -- acknowledging the various Celtics staffers whose names and affiliations were exploited by those online following the initial reports on Wednesday.

However, the latest report -- courtesy of TMZ -- suggests Udoka was involved with a Celtics staffer who was directly responsible for assisting the 45-year-old head coach while also providing assistance to Udoka's fiancée, Nia Long.

"The Celtics employee with whom Ime Udoka had an affair helped make all his travel arrangements," TMZ wrote on Saturday. "And that job sometimes included organizing travel for his fiancée, Nia Long. ... Sources connected to the couple and the NBA franchise tell TMZ one of the staffer's duties included planning Udoka's team-related travel, and we're told she was also involved in booking travel for Nia to come to Boston or to road games."

The controversy surrounding the matter continues to unravel with members of the media , former players , and others all vocalizing their two cents in the early stages with Udoka still an affiliate of the Celtics organization, pending further announcement from the team.

The 2022-23 regular season is just 24 days away for the Celtics and they're already embarking on their defense as last season's Eastern Conference champs with their backs against the wall.

Ime Udoka's fiancé had help planning her move to Boston, but she probably didn't know who was helping her. According to TMZ , the Celtics employee with whom the head coach had an affair was in charge of all of his — and her — travel arrangements.

Nia Long, who was (and is?) engaged to Udoka, recently packed up her things and made the permanent move to Massachusetts with the couple's 10-year-old son Kez. They did so just over two weeks ago.

A staff member with the organization helped her throughout the process, as she had many times before. Prior to the move, Long would travel back and forth to Boston for home games and often to road games.

She would attend as many games as possible and the team would help with booking flights, cars, hotels, etc. It was one less thing to have on her plate that the Celtics could handle for her.

Assisting her travels along the way was the same staffer who helped her husband make all of his travel arrangements. While that is commonplace for most, if not all professional sports organizations, the head coach's relationship with the staffer is not.

The same Boston Celtics staffer that helped book Ime Udoka's and Nia Long's travel was also having an affair with the coach.

The staffer's name has not yet been released publicly. However, per TMZ, Long has been told who she is and, of course, is very familiar with her from their communication about travel.

As things currently stand, Udoka has been suspended by the team for the entire 2022-23 season . The decision came after what the Celtics said was a months-long investigation. It is unclear as to what will happen with the staffer, though the team is currently deliberating, and it is unclear as to what will happen with Long and Udoka's relationship.

Ime Udoka’s Affair Reported To Be With Team’s Travel Planner

In the fallout of Ime Udoka ‘s suspension from the Boston Celtics, TMZ is reporting the team employee involved in the affair was responsible for all of his travel arrangements. A source stated the employee would also organize travel for Nia Long.

The staffer’s role with Long would be to set up her trips to Boston or away games. Recently, Long and her 10-year-old son with Ime, Kez, just relocated to Boston.

The Celtics have not revealed the name of the employee but alerted Long about who she was. Nia Long’s representative, Shannon Barr, released a statement to TMZ:

“The outpouring of love and support from family, friends and the community during this difficult time means so much to me. I ask that my privacy be respected as I process the recent events. Above all, I am a mother and will continue to focus on my children.”

Celtics Staffer Involved With Ime Udoka Reportedly Organized Nia Long's Travel Plans

Sources claim Udoka's long-time partner knows the identity of the female staffer. The alleged mistress was reportedly involved in Long's move to Boston.

We now have more details about  Ime Udoka ’s alleged affair.

As previously reported , the  Boston Celtics  suspended the head coach after learning he had an “intimate relationship” with a female staffer. Though the relationship was described as consensual, the woman reportedly accused Udoka of making “unwanted comments” toward her, which prompted the Celtics to get involved. After conducting a series of internal interviews, the team decided to suspend Udoka for the entire 2022-23 season over “violations of team policies.”

The staffer’s identity has not been revealed, but sources tell  TMZ  that one of her duties was travel planning—not only for Udoka, but also his longtime partner/fiancée,  Nia Long . Insiders say the woman organized Long’s travel for away games, and even assisted her move to Boston.  According to TMZ , the actress and her 10-year-old son permanently moved to Bean Town a couple of weeks ago, approximately two months after Udoka became aware of the Celtics’ investigation.

“The outpouring of love and support from family, friends and the community during this difficult time means so much to me,” Long said in a statement to People magazine. “I ask that my privacy be respected as I process the recent events. Above all, I am a mother and will continue to focus on my children.”

Following his suspension, Udoka issued a public apology.

“I want to apologize to our players, fans, the entire Celtics organization, and my family for letting them down,” he wrote. “I am sorry for putting the team in this difficult situation and I accept the team’s decision. Out of respect for everyone involved, I will have no further comment.”

Boston Celtics' Ime Udoka Had Alleged Affair With Assistant Who Planned Travel For Him and Wife Nia Long

Ime Udoka is in a lot of trouble. As social media rips him to shreds about cheating on  Boyz In the Hood star Nia Long , rumors have run rampant regarding why he has been suspended from his head coaching job for the Boston Celtics . In his first year, the former professional ball player led the team to their first championship in 12 years, making him part of a very small list of coaches in the league to achieve such a feat. But now, he'll be benched. More information about the woman Udoka was seeing is being leaked. 

Sources connected to the couple and the NBA franchise tell TMZ that the coach had a consensual affair with another front-house staffer, one who reportedly was responsible for booking the team-related travel. Reports allege that the woman in question booked travel for the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum for games, and even assisted Long with her move to Boston just two weeks ago. Long is said to have discovered the affair right before news was made public. Udoka's mistress is also said to be married, with Entertainment Tonight's Kevin Frazier stating via Twitter sources told him the woman's husband learned of the affair through doorbell video footage of a private phone call between his wife and Udoka. Even after the affair was uncovered, the woman continued to work with Long to facilitate her move to Boston.

Long and Udoka have been together publically since 2010. While they are engaged, she previously admitted that marriage is not a priority. "Love is complicated, let's just start there," she told ESSENCE . "And then you start a marriage, which I've never been married. And there's a reason for that because I don't know that I need to say 'I do' to prove to you that I love you. But also, what does marriage really [mean]… that you own me now and I own you? I don't get that part. I understand the religious aspect of marriage. That is beautiful and it's fantastical and it's dreamy and it's every girl's fantasy to have that moment. But I don't know that I need that to feel like I'm in a partnership that's working," she added in the ESSENCE interview. 

It gets worse. TMZ reports The Best Man alum hasn't been in Boston long. Per reports, Long learned that Udoka informed his woman a little over two weeks ago about their son, Kez. He is said to be just 10-years-old. 

Brad Stevens became emotional during a news conference recently. He the scandal had been upsetting the female employees because of the affair with Udoka.

According to sbehoops, Ime’s affair with his female staffer, a married woman, was disclosed by her husband, who heard a private conversation on a doorbell camera. On the other hand, Ime Udoka’s fiancée, actress Nia Long, didn’t know about her husband’s affair until ESPN reported it. A previous rumor also claimed that the affair lasted for several months.

The complete details on the matter will remain undercover and not reach the public eyes. Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck indicated this during a press conference regarding the same. It is also assumed that this relationship was not consensual. More updates on this matter are not found, and everyone will likely focus on the upcoming NBA 2022-2023 season.

Ime Udoka has no plans to resign from the post

Celtics head coach Ime Udoka successfully led the side to the NBA finals last season but fell short to the Golden State Warriors. Now that he is suspended from the team for the 2022-2023 NBA season, he still does not intend to resign from his post, as per Chris Haynes of TNT. Udoka, married to actress Nia Long, is being penalized for having a consensual affair with a female Boston staffer. Ime played for almost 12 years as a professional player in the NBA league.

Ime became a well-regarded NBA assistant later after his retirement. He served under Gregg Popovich with the Spurs, Brett Brown with the Sixers, and Steve Nash with the Nets before his first stint as a head coach with Boston Celtics. During his first season as the Celtics’ head coach, Udoka led Boston to a season to be remembered, and they made it to the first NBA Finals since 2010. It really isn’t a good time for Ime Udoka right now, is it?

After taking the Boston Celtics to their first NBA finals since their Paul Pierce and Ray Allen era, the franchise was probably gearing up to give this man the world. But then… well certain parts of his life were revealed to the whole wide world.

Soon after this information was revealed, the speculation on who the female in question is has been insane. There have been so many names that have been brought up, including the Boston Celtics’ travel planner, something you can read about here .

And yet, none of them have been confirmed, as the franchise has been steadfast in keeping the woman’s identity a secret.

But of course, the media wasn’t the first one to know about this information. Still, the way Udoka and the woman in question got caught couldn’t have been more interesting. And it appears that one Shaquille O’Neal may have had something to do with it.

According to TMZ , sources connected to the couple and the NBA franchise said one of the staffer’s duties included planning Udoka’s team-related travel, and was also told she was involved in booking travel for Nia to come to Boston or to road games.

What really makes matters worst is that the employee had a hand in Nia’s arrangements to move to Boston permanently, according to TMS sources. Nia just recently moved to Boston a little over 2 weeks ago with Kez, her 10-year-old son with Ime.

The employee is still a Jane Doe to the public however, Nia has been told who she is. Friday during a news conference Team President Brad Stevens spoke on the scandal and mentioned that it was particularly upsetting for all their female employees, due to speculation about who had the affair with Udoka.

Because of his inappropriate and foolish actions, the team suspended him for the entire 2022-23 season after what it says was a months-long investigation into his conduct.

Nia’s rep told TMZ,

“The outpouring of love and support from family, friends and the community during this difficult time means so much to me. I ask that my privacy be respected as I process the recent events. Above all, I am a mother and will continue to focus on my children.”

All of this news comes amid rumors that Udoka and the female staffer were caught by the woman’s husband who heard a private conversation between them on a home doorbell camera.

Ime Udoka Had Affair With Celtics’ Travel Planner Who Organized Nia Long’s Travel As Well

Suspended Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka continues to be in deeper trouble with his fiancée. The Celtics first became aware of Udoka’s intimate relationship with a female staffer in July, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. The organization had been under the impression that the relationship between the two was consensual, but the woman recently accused Udoka of making “unwanted comments” toward her.

To make matters worse, the employee helped make all his travel arrangements and that job sometimes included organizing travel for his fiancee, Nia Long.

Via the report:

“Sources connected to the couple and the NBA franchise tell TMZ … one of the staffer’s duties included planning Udoka’s team-related travel, and we’re told she was also involved in booking travel for Nia to come to Boston or to road games. Perhaps most upsetting for Nia is that the employee had a hand in Nia’s arrangements to move to Boston permanently, according to our sources.”

An investigation by the team led to the shocking season-long suspension of Udoka. To fill that gap, the Celtics elevated assistant Joe Mazzulla to take over as interim head coach.
