RAMMSTEIN's first show of 2023: See setlist and videos from fan-club exclusive gig

On Saturday (May 20th), Rammstein played their first show of 2023 — an exclusive, fan-club-only dress-rehearsal performance that test-drove the massive 21-song setlist and pyro-heavy production of the German industrial-metal titans' upcoming tour dates.

Held at Vingio Parkas in Vilnius, Lithuania — where Rammstein are set to kick off their 2023 tour proper tonight (May 22nd) — the dress rehearsal saw the Duetschlandic firestarters crank out live-staple fan favorites ("Du Hast," "Sonne," "Links 2-3-4") and deep-cut rarities alike.

Among the latter were Liebe ist für alle da' s "Rammlied" (played for the first time since 2011 while frontman Till Lindeman descended to the stage on a huge elevator), Sehnsucht' s "Bestrafe Mich" (played for the first time since 2001) and "Giftig," off the group's latest album, Zeit , which got its live debut.

Saw them with my granddaughter at Olympiastadion, Berlin on 15th July 2023. I've been to many live shows and gigs over the years, but Rammstein raised the bar above all else. Fantastic visuals, pyros, lighting and of course sound. This band give you EVERYTHING, this is music, entertainment, theatre. I was literally blown away, so much so, we saw them again at their final gig of 2023 at King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels on 5th August 2023. Roll on Dublin June 2024, something to REALLY look forward to. Mike, Hull, UK.

When you try to see a group for years, the worry is that when you do get to go to their concert it will turn out to be a bit of an anti climax.

Not Rammstien. They were everything I expected and more. Brilliant, fantastic, superb.

As a visual show it was all the usual pyrotechnics and smoke and bang bangs.?

Instrumentally everything we all love about them with heavy riffs/shredding.

I loved this concert and will go and see them again

An Epic show!

Rammstein knows how to lighten up a room.

Great setlist, great visual effects.

I didn’t like the venue though. I found the sound really crappy.

It seems that there was a technical glitch during the song “Rammstein”. And I must confess that after “Sonne” the venue was filled with smoke and the rest of the show was quite hidden when there was too much light.

Lindemann - 2020 Tour (Setlist)

Rammstein’s Till Lindemann Announces First-Ever 2024 North American Solo Tour

Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann is ready to go it solo this fall, announcing his first-ever North American solo tour.

Though previously working under his last name in the band Lindemann, this will truly be the singer as a solo artist. The trek spans 14 cities, kicking off Sept. 17 in San Antonio and continuing through an Oct. 14 finale in Los Angeles. The run will also include one festival appearance on Sept. 27 at the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville.

Lindemann will add to the live spectacle by bringing along Twin Temple and Aesthetic Perfection as the support acts for the tour.

In addition to his fall solo tour in the U.S., Lindemann will also spend a portion of 2024 touring with Rammstein. The band has a European trek scheduled to kick off next month and tickets are currently on sale .

Slipknot have announced the line-up of homecoming Knotfest Iowa 2024 with Rammstein ‘s Till Lindemann , Knocked Loose and more.

The band’s annual homecoming music festival is set to take place on September 21 for one night only as a special 25th Anniversary Event at Water Works Park in Des Moines, IA. Along with Slipknot, Till Lindemann and Knocked Loose, the likes of Hatebreed , Poison The Well, GWAR , Vended , Dying Wish, Zulu , Twin Temple, Holy Wars, Swollen Teeth, Spine, and Dose are also set to perform.

A ticket pre-sale for Knotfest will commence on Tuesday April 30 at 10am CT (4pm BST). General ticket sales will begin on Friday May 3 at 10am CT (4pm BST). In a four-star review of Knotfest Melbourne 2023 , NME shared: “Clown told  NME that Knotfest would debut in Australia this year so that Slipknot could “burn down [our] brainwashed philosophy” and indoctrinate us with their own. If any of those among us weren’t already devout members of the Church Of Slipknot (aka Maggots, sometimes Heretics), they surely walked away last night as fresh converts. Considering all three editions sold out, it seems inevitable that Knotfest will return Down Under in 2024 – we’ll start stretching now.”

In other news, Slipknot recently  co-headlined Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas on April 27 with a career-spanning setlist for which they donned their classic original masks and red boiler suits.

The Nine had also played in their classic outfits  for an intimate club show last night (April 25) at the Pappy + Harriet’s barbecue bar  in Pioneertown, California. The surprise gig had been  announced one day prior to the show date  on April 24.

Their new drummer is  heavily speculated to be former Sepultura percussionist Eloy Casagrande , thought the band have yet to confirm his identity.

Till Lindemann is leaving Rammstein behind in 2024.

Starting in September, the bombastic frontman will embark on his first solo U.S. tour with special guests Twin Temple and Aesthetic Perfection in support of his 2023 solo album “Zunge.”

Midway through the fall run, the 61-year-old drops into New York’s The Rooftop at Pier 17 on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

While this will be Lindemann’s first solo stateside jaunt, it won’t be the first time he’s performed without Rammstein.

Most recently, he wrapped an international 2023-24 solo tour in Mexico, according to Set List FM . On that run, he regularly performed 19 songs — including two encores — per show.

While we can’t guarantee what he’ll bring to the stage on his forthcoming North American tour, we do know the best way to find out is live.

On Nov. 3, 2023, Lindemann dropped his solo album “Zunge.”

Comprised of 11 tracks, the heavy rocker stretches his musical muscles and alternates between intimate quiet and chaotic, epic loud — the sound Rammstein is known for — with ease.

Highlights include the quirky “Sports Frei,” thumping “Altes Fleisch” and the warbly anthem “Du hast kein Herz.”

Personally, we were most taken with the Ennio Morricone-esque “Tanzlehrerin” with its guitar licks, yearning vocals and gifted yet pained backing singer giving her all behind Lindemann.

Don’t sleep on the shockingly fun album closer “Selbst verliebt,” either. It’s an unexpected pop delicacy.

On Christmas 2023, Lindemann followed up the album release with the whirly, tongue-trilling single “Entre dos tierras” en español.

Till Lindemann controversy

Lindemann was accused of sexual assault by a female fan last June over social media. She alleged he drugged her at a pre-show Rammstein VIP party in Lithuania and later approached her fox sex during intermission.

This led to a backlash against Rammstein’s “VIP Experience;” fans believed Lindemann was using the ticket tier to bed fans.

After looking into the case, German prosecutors dropped the case due to a lack of evidence and testimony.

“The rapid termination of investigative proceedings by the Berlin state prosecutor’s office shows that there is insufficient evidence that our client allegedly committed sexual offen(s)es,” Lindemann’s lawyers said.

Rammstein drummer claimed Lindemann “has distanced himself from us in recent years and created his own bubble” and “things seem to have happened that, although legally ok, I personally don’t think are ok.”

The Rolling Stones’ Hackney Diamonds tour began on Sunday, April 28, in Houston, Texas. The AARP-sponsored tour is in support of their album of the same name, which was released last October as their first original studio album since 2005. Hackney Diamonds debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard albums chart.

The Rolling Stones’ Hackney Diamonds will hit up the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on May 2 before resuming their headlining tour dates at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on May 7. The tour will wrap on July 17 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, but not before hitting up such iconic stadiums as MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey or Chicago’s Soldier Field. The Rolling Stones setlist: Here are all the songs on their Hackney Diamonds Tour

It doesn’t matter that both Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are 80.

As long as they’re sharing a stage, the Rolling Stones will continue to defy age and energy.

The band’s 16-city stadium sprint – sponsored, appropriately, by AARP – kicked off April 28 at NRG Stadium in Houston and will play through July 17 in Santa Clara, California. In between, the Rolling Stones will visit cities including Las Vegas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Cleveland and Chicago.

In October, the band released “Hackney Diamonds,” their first new album since 2005. For this complementary tour, Jagger, Richards and Ronnie Wood – along with durable supporting players Chuck Leavell, Darryl Jones, Matt Clifford, Karl Denson, Tim Ries, Steve Jordan (who assumed rhythm duties after the 2021 death of original drummer Charlie Watts ) and background vocalists Bernard Fowler and Chanel Haynes – shined on stage for two hours.

The 18-song set was stuffed with iconic rock anthems including “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” “Start Me Up,” and “Miss You”, along with a smattering of new songs from “Hackney,” including the Grammy-nominated “ Angry .”
